Vorteile:

I love being able to put in my billable and non-billable time for projects. It is easy and straightforward. I chose this product because it easily syncs with Quickbooks!

Nachteile:

One of the main issues I have is with the projects listed. As the administrator all the projects show up on my timesheet. I would like to limit what I see - just like I can limit what the users see. I would also like to not show in the project list those that are completed and marked complete in QBO.

Kommentare: It can sometimes be difficult to ensure that time is entered correctly when you have access to other employees time. I would like more keyboard shortcuts for entering time.

Vorteile:

I like the ability to pull reports, although it isn't very user friendly.

Nachteile:

High memory requirements. Reports are more difficult to use than previous versions. Easier to make mistakes when it comes to entering time versus viewing all employee entries. Unable to use phone app (log in credentials do not work for some reason).

Kommentare: We had to find a system that was compatible with Quickbooks because when we upgraded our OS, the free QB timer went away. Minute7 was the most affordable and straightforward product we could find on the market.

Vorteile:

User friendly and fairly intuitive, affordable

Nachteile:

Having to change my entries from ready to sync to pending every time. I prefer my entries to be pending until I do a final review for approval.

Kommentare: We used to write down our hours and then have to log them manually. Extra time several times over. Admin would spend fifteen minutes alone just on not begin able to read handwriting or whatever. Now it's a click of a few buttons and everyone's time is ready to invoice in Quickbooks!

Vorteile:

I needed a software that would let me track time, and then coordinate easily with my desktop Quickbooks. This works like a charm. Easily synced up with every client and item in Quickbooks and has saved hours in data entry in just a few months. Great features where I can limit employees to logging hours only on the items that have their rate.

Nachteile:

I find the syncing software to feel a little underbaked. But it works just fine! Just wish it could be intergrated into the software itself as a button to press!

Great way to track time & expenses

Kommentare: Amazing customer service, amazing product - highly recommend.

Vorteile:

This software is easy to use and user friendly. It is a very inexpensive way to track both time and expenses while having reporting available to continue tracking these things. Users are easy to set up, and once they get the hang of it easy to use.

Nachteile:

Since this is an American product, taxes are not accounted for in the expenses. Some employees found it tricky to use or have had login problems. Thankfully, support is top notch so any issues can be addressed almost immediately!

My Minute 7 Experience

Kommentare: I use minute 7 to run reports and integrate into our invoicing system.

Vorteile:

I like that hours can be sent for approval. I also like that you can limit the projects per each employee. It helps make running reports that much easier.

Nachteile:

My least favorite part of the software is the integration around bill rates and employee names when setting up invoices. Another problem is that some projects have sub projects so sometimes the hours will sync into the wrong one. This becomes a problem because my superior is the only one that is able to go in and change hours. He is busy so does not have the time to go in when I need so it causes a delay in invoicing.

Awesome time-entry system

Vorteile:

Very easy to use. Synchronizes very well with QuickBooks Online. Also, it didn't require that I get set up as an employee to perform my time entry (whereas most every other time-entry system did). As I am the owner, and not an employee, it was very important that I be able to have a system that allows me to enter my time without the need to file employee tax forms with the IRS through the software.

Nachteile:

Nothing, it's been great so far! Keep up the good work!

Kommentare: My overall experience with Minute7 has been great. In the past 4 years, I have contacted customer service only two times and in both cases, the issues were quickly address and resolved.

Vorteile:

Being able to track time by employee at the customer/job level and sync the entries into QuickBooks Desktop seamlessly is what I like most about Minute7!

Nachteile:

One improvement I'd love to see, would be the ability to synchronize time entries for one specific customer/job as needed, instead of all time entries across the board.

A Good, Basic Time Management Tool

Kommentare: It has been a positive experience. The product is stable and the developers respond quickly to questions and concerns.

Vorteile:

Its simplicity means that you don't have to spend a lot of time teaching people how to use the product. If you need to track by account and task this product will fit the bill nicely. The product integrates with QuickBooks so that jobs and time can be exchanged.

Nachteile:

Since it is web-based, you have to be mindful of the fact that data can get stale. You need to train our users to refresh the page before entering new time entries so that they have the latest state of the system.

Needs another feature

Vorteile:

It's pretty easy to use. Most of the mouse clicks to enter information are straight forward.

Nachteile:

I would like to see a field that just keeps a running total of hours for the current day, regardless of where those hours are charged. I would like to see more room for text in the menu that contains the category of program to which hours are being allocation. Visually it's very crowded.

Excellent time & expense tracking for our size organization

Kommentare: Really, I chose it from about 10 different candidates, and it is an excellent fit for us. Not laden with features I have to work around to ignore. Enables us to manage just as we want.

Vorteile:

This software was able to mirror almost exactly what we were doing manually, so virtually no training or up time required. Additionally, it added electronic expense submission, Quick Books integration, and on-demand reporting, significant time savers for every user function.

Nachteile:

Initially, assigning the classes was a little confusing because of them having to be in QB before we could see them... so from our perspective, backwards in how we work typically. But after we got used to that, all good. Lastly, it would be nice as the administrator, if I had an admin section and a user section like everyone else so when keeping my own time and expenses I could only see the stuff specifically applicable to my day-to-day work. But, we're small so not a big deal.

Creating Invoices

I love how easy this product is to use. We really do enjoy using it.

Nachteile:

When I sync the timesheets to quickbooks, the entries for the same date are not in the order they were entered into the minute 7 program. For example, court appearance for hearing will be typed in after prepare for court appearance, but the prepare for will show up after. This happens all the time. Often times, I have to put them in order on the actual invoice because they did not sync in order. This is so frustrating but because we like the product, we stick with it. I hope this can be updated to sync in the order they were entered. Thanks.

Administrative use of Minute7

Kommentare: I think the program basically works well for the daily user while using the it from the browser in the computer, but the Minute7 app has frequent temporary malfunction issues and is not as easy to make changes or adjustments to added time.

Vorteile:

Ability to edit entries, time etc. Mostly it is an easy to use program.

Nachteile:

Not very compatible with Quick books. When the information is synced into quick books, you have to manually go into quick books to change any edited entries after the information has already been synced to the quick books program. You should just be able to re sync from quick books and it will move over the edited or changes made in Minute7.

Good tool for small business, additional features would be nice

Vorteile:

I like that the software is easily accessible for all of our employees and that it allows for reasonably easy time entry. The ability to calculate mileage with a customizable mileage rate is also a nice feature.

Nachteile:

I preferred the reports that were available in the previous version. I liked when I could run a quick report and view the results on screen; now the only results onscreen are aggregated totals and any detail must be viewed in a downloaded report. I miss being able to get a very quick update on project progress.

Easy and simple Timesheet

Kommentare: My overall experience has been great with Minute7. My timesheets prior to Minute7 were done on excel speadsheets and definitely not as easy as Minute7.

What I like most about Minute7 is that the software is extremely easy to use and very self explanatory.

There is not one thing that I have found in this software that I do not like so far.

Minute7 Time and Billing Tracking

Kommentare: It's done everything that we wanted it to do: tracks billable employee time and expenses and pulls them into a client invoice in QuickBooks. We're now able to prepare annual reports of the amount of time we're spending on each client's engagement and adjust fees accordingly.

Vorteile:

Easy to capture and track billable time, integrates well with both QuickBooks Desktop and Online versions, effortless syncing between applications, solid reporting.

Nachteile:

Would like to be able to undock the timer from the browser page and move to a corner of the screen.

Good Basic Timekeeping System

Vorteile:

I appreciate the ease of use and compatibility with QuickBooks software. Adding new users and customizing what each can access makes it easier for them to use as well.

Nachteile:

There's not much downside for the price and accessibility, particularly if you're using it just for basic timekeeping. If I could change one thing it would be that it somehow automatically synced with QuickBooks, but I've been living with that the whole time and it's not exactly a "problem."

How Minute7 Saved our Non-Profit Time and Money

Kommentare: This tool has enabled our organization to streamline budget reporting for payroll. We have used Minute7 for a number of years and have always received excellent customer support.

Vorteile:

It is easy to onboard new users and train them on the platform. The customization for our organization is beneficial in tracking different budgets. We now use for both staff payroll and 1099 contractor payroll.

Nachteile:

I don't know that there is anything I don't like about Minute7.

Not intuitive to learn how to use

It's accessible for time entry.

Nachteile:

When I first started using Minute 7, it was not intuitive to learn. Also once the filters and report formatting are removed, I cannot put them back on. I don;t like it when an entry for the day goes down to the bottom of all entries for the week so that I cannot see it. Being an hourly employee, that's important so I can track how many hours I have worked in a day.

User Friendly Software

Vorteile:

This software is very user friendly. It doesn't require much technological knowledge so all employees feel comfortable with its use. The use of the Minute7 app makes it accessible for anyone to keep track of their hours from any location. Transitioning to this software was done with ease, once an information session was provided. The ability to print reports has been a great benefit to our organization! When needed, customer support has been responsive in a timely manner.

Nachteile:

As of this day, we have nothing to complain about this software.

Time tracking made easy

Vorteile:

Keeps precise track of my time on projects. Allows me to print and store my week-to-week activities. Our accounting person loves that she can grab our time sheets from anywhere to perform payroll and job costing.

Nachteile:

The only thing I wish it had was the ability to save my choices of what to save & print in my time sheet. Out of the 15 items that could be in a weekly report, I only need 8; I am forced to DE-SELECT ALL and re-check those 8 boxes each week. It's not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice if I could save my personal choices.

Kommentare: We use the software to integrate with Q.B. so we can have a job cost per customer. This way we can evaluate customers, and understand which customers use the majority of our time. This is very valuable, when it comes to profitability of the company and billing of he customers.

Vorteile:

The ability to see how many hours each of my employees spend per customer. Integration with Q.B. is very simply and works the majority of the time.

Nachteile:

The reports total by customer. I wish the time sheet totaled by customer. I also wish there was a place for employees to log arrival time and departure time.

Great Product

Vorteile:

It's easy to use and has thoughtful features like a "duplicate" option that allows you to duplicate an entry and modify it.

Nachteile:

The only challenge I have is using the mobile app version where I have to log out and log back in to get it to refresh. Simply refreshing when I first open the app does not bring the entries up to date.

Kommentare: We have been using this program for several years and it works well for us - we can pull reports and use it for time tracking.

Vorteile:

It can sync with our QuickBooks program.

Nachteile:

We have it set up to be very detailed and split out Labor, travel among other things- so it can be confusing to train a new employee. We may revamp it our our end to have it be a little more user friendly
