If there is anything that I can't work out how to do, the e-days support team are always efficient and extremely helpful - I cannot fault them at all!

Kommentare: Very, very positive! Edays has been well received by end users, with overwhelmingly positive feedback and has been formally accepted into service.

Vorteile:

The service provide users with a new modern multi-platform solution for managing leave and provides new capabilities for managers to visualise all of their team members leave requests. Edays is be hosted in the ‘cloud’ and accessible from all our corporate that have an internet connection using Single Sign On (SSO).

Nachteile:

There were essentially only two main issues. Firstly, out of the box Edays was unable to work with the sheer number of different rota patterns in HSE (over 500). However, with close collaboration and a degree of re-tooling, we successfully overcame this. Second, we had to work with Edays to make the application function for adaptive equipment users (JAWS/Dragon etc.), in so far as these users / line managers, were able to book and approve leave. Edays have were encouraged to seek and achieve WCAG accreditation.

Worst Customer Service

Kommentare: Awful. Have implemented and used many other more intuitive and better performing systems.

In principal the features are easy to use

Nachteile:

In principal the features are easy to use and seem relatively straightforward, however when you try to use or change any of its functionality in practice, it never works correctly. The system regularly encounters issues and records change without any admin or user instruction to do so. The technical support team are never able to investigate or explain these changes. Or provide a satisfactory resolution. The technical support are unhelpful and provide no service whatsoever.

Kommentare: Excellent - The customer support is great. The team listen to what customers want and implement these to support your company. Employees find it easy to use and love that it can be used on their mobiles. Being able to reach other platforms we use through the e-days is a really good feature so employee only have to go to one place.

Vorteile:

The time submission feature is great we have been able to go paperless on timesheets since we had this feature added.

Nachteile:

Alerts to sickness trigger points so we can be reminded when meetings need to take place

Nachteile:

complex rota set up and system changing it in the new calendar year so I had to fix it again.

Kommentare: Excellent support from the on-boarding team, it was very easy to get our company up and running. Whenever we have had a question, the product support team have been able to solve it within a few hours

Vorteile:

Simple to use, every user finds it intuitive to use and as a manager provides crystal clear overview of everyones absenteeism

Nachteile:

No real issue. Understanding part-time rotas took a bit of time and some additional support videos would be helpful in this area

Kommentare: Having the App to use is now a great benefit, and the reports are very easy to use

We moved to the new platform recently and the transition, implementation and the training was fantastic. It could not have been better. The Customer success Manager [sensitive content hidden] was on hand and so helpful and responsive. Training with Raj was simple and effective.

Nachteile:

Ways around the emailing of self certification, as some users do not have access to Emails or phone during work to enable them to complete the RTW.

Excellent customer support

Vorteile:

The system is extremelly straight forward to use and very intuative. The customer support is outstanding. [sensitive content hidden] always responds to my emails extrememly quickly with instructions to my queries or offers to jump on a call if I get stuck.

Nachteile:

Nothing. An excellent project which we are starting to utlise more.

Kommentare: - edays has helped the company to save time, effectively monitor staff absence, keep on top of other absences such as holidays, compassionate leave, working from home requests etc.

Vorteile:

- it is so easy to use- the front layout is nice and the back admin layout is not hard to use- the customer service portal is great, along with the information hub, which I use regularly- that there is a mobile app, so we can check edays on the go- importing entitlement is easy to use- there are webinars to help

Nachteile:

- perhaps the interface could look a little bit more modernised? just a suggestion

Every company should have a system like this

Vorteile:

Even though I’m self employed the company that I work for needs to keep track of my absences so I use edays. It’s very used to see the whole year and get to have a clear picture of everyone’s holidays so no one clashes with each other.

Nachteile:

Edays doesn’t let you book holidays with less than 14 days notice - I think. But that’s actually a great idea so the companies have time to find cover

The user guide is not always clear and you cannot always find answers online to your questions.

Great product and good value for money

Very easy to set up and use and good value for money. We had more of a manual process in place previously and edays has improved services a lot

Nachteile:

Options to include details as confidential when you request leave for example (only for line manager view). reminder emails to those who have not approved something?

Edays holiday entitlement use

Vorteile:

Easy to see how many of the team have booked holiday and how much they have left, easy to authorise with two people and great for adding sick days manually.

Nachteile:

If the alternative authoriser to the primary authoriser could also get email notifications when someone puts in a holiday request that would be perfect for when my manager is away.

Kommentare: Found it easy to use and I believe managers also.

Vorteile:

From my point of administrating the system I find it easy enough to navigate and quick to make fixes and find what I need. If I ever have a problem or something needs changing I cannot do [sensitive content hidden] our support is always quick to help.

Nachteile:

There has been a few things it cannot do that would be useful to our business such as having more than one manager people able to fully manage a employee to the capacity they can both cancel training/holidays.

Kommentare: This tools is great for absence management, sickness management and reporting.

Vorteile:

The software is easy to use, straight forward new joiner set, any maintenance is easily done.

Nachteile:

I wish that we could add form to some types of absence booking. Also the length of day changes in the setting which causes for the holiday entitlement to change to weird odd numbers.

Alphaserve - E-days Review

Vorteile:

E-days is simple and direct to use. It offers integration with Outlook, so I can see everyone's time off making it easy to track. The layout and features of the system is great as well.

Nachteile:

I would prefer it if the reporting options can be more advanced as in having more fields/filters/custom report options - it feels a bit limited. Also, we can only pull last year, current year, or next year reports, and it doesn't allow us to look back at more than one year ago.

Kommentare: The e-days support team are excellent, they respond quickly to email queries......and explain in a detailed how to make the amendment, they don't amend the system for you. So as an administrator you are always learning.

Very simple and easy to get started!

Kommentare: Managers are able to see not just their own team but the entire company making it easier to authorise. We have a strange holiday allowance and E-Days allowed for this, very easy transaction! Very happy.

Vorteile:

its very user friendly, no jumping through hoops. It can be linked to outlook too. very simple and no bells and whistles of stuff you dont need like traditional HR software.

Nachteile:

we haven't come across any cons yet. Maybe a catch up call after using the system for 6 months?
