Easier than you think to deliver impact to your HOA

Kommentare: HOAE allows me to create and deploy a Single tool for all of our association business. I can post Board only documents, set up meetings and events, and even collect dues (maybe we will use that feature in the future?) from an easy to manage platform, for one super low price per annum.

Vorteile:

HOAE makes it super simple to set up a community portal in minutes. They also make it easy to create a custom URL and pay for it included with their standard fees. Because they’re domain experts, they know I need pages for my monthly minutes, a member directory, and other resources that allow me to migrate all of our community’s legacy services onto 1 platform going forward. I’m impressed how easy their tool is to use to set up, design and deploy, including their self service knowledge base and live chat for those times when I was stumped. Their customer support and turn around time is impressive, too!

Nachteile:

As a result of using commercial off the shelf software, our unique requirements for 1 minor item had to be updated to match what is offered in the platform. It’s not the end of the world, just an update to our business processes. Overall, the pros far outshine the cons.

Something we can be proud of!

A HOA Neighbirhoid Needs This

Vorteile:

Most neighborhoods these days have a Home Owners Association to maintain property values and a pleasant lifestyle because otherwise one egligent neighbor can ruin resale values and drive buyers away

Nachteile:

I wish it had more legal input in the software also for dealing with ignored lawn cutting putting up unauthorized antennas etc

Condo Community

Kommentare: The support,the software and the people have all been great to deal with.

Vorteile:

We have used two other programs in the past and HOA Express is the easiest, full feature programs with great support. The learning curve is very short and ease of implenmentation is great!

Nachteile:

We would love to change the landing page to a bit more modern scroll design and currently that is not an option.

Setup really easy

HOA Express Best Value ever

Kommentare: They have the best customer service by far!!! They have a quick response with accurate information. They provide for a review of the website to ensure that it is professional looking to users.

Ability to quickly implement web pages, arrange pages in an order that is customized for our needs.

Nachteile:

Some pages have a fixed format that can only be changed through HOA Express development.

Outstanding all around

Vorteile:

HOA Express is designed for community, home owners, condo owners, neighborhood, civic organizations. We are an organization of about 100 homeowners' on or near Dog Lake in Eastern Ontario Canada. Prior to using HOA, we had separate functional archaic membership files in spreadsheets, no way to take on-line payments, or event reservations. We came to use HOA after my experience in using it for our 58 member condo association in Florida. Having experience in using the software in 2 different settings has given me the ability to see the full strengths of the package. Finally, I can't say enough about the firms' customer service. They have both a chat and phone capability that is very responsive, friendly, and thorough in solving problems for users and turning experiences into training sessions. HOA has the best customer service operation i've ever dealt with. I highly recommend giving strong consideration to considering them as your membership organization software provider.

Nachteile:

This is a small thing but the package is so rich in what it offers, it takes a while,especially since we don't use it every day, to get to be adept at using it. Another small thing is dealing with non Microsoft or Google software in it's member message text preparation function. However, we're working on learning Mark-up

Easy to set up and outstanding customer service

Kommentare: This is the first time our HOA has ever had a website. It has greatly improved communications and has given us the ability to make important documents readily available to everyone. With some documents running to well over 100 pages, we are actually saving money - and trees!

Vorteile:

Setting up a website for my homeowner's association could not have been easier. When I first signed up, a customer service rep contacted me to make an appointment for one-on-one training by phone and remote connection to my computer. She spent almost an hour walking me through each of the software's features and answering all of my questions. I had the site up and running the next day and our HOA members love it! I looked into several other website hosting options and I am very glad to have settled on HOA Express. I highly recommend it.

Nachteile:

No real problems at all. I have asked for a few small 'tweaks' and they always reply very quickly. They are constantly working on improvements.

Finally an easy site for HOA

Kommentare: We have not had any problems and they just keep updating the ability to do new things on a regular basis. You really cannot go wrong using them.

Vorteile:

I like everything about this site. The ability to email blast or send US mail, the ease of use. The ability if you want to allow owners to pay dues directly to your bank. And they also take over remembering to renew Domain if you got one from another provider.

Nachteile:

I know this does not sound like a real life user, but I am. I am usually able to offer some kind of wish list, but I have nothing yet.

A Great Choice for our HOA site

Kommentare: Our HOA was still doing everything on paper. We needed a better way to build a sense of community, improve communication and save time and cost. We evaluated a handful of vendors who provide HOA website templates. Our choices were narrowed to 3: HOA Express, HOA Space and HOA Sites. From the beginning HOA Express stood out when you compared features for the price. The page templates provided everything we needed, they had unlimited document storage with some text messaging included in the subscription and the free trial made it very easy to see our site before we committed to a subscription. They even provide automated letter mailing which we aren't doing currently but hope to take advantage of in the future. Where HOA Express really stood out was with their support. I had some questions during our evaluation phase. My emails were always responded to within an hour. I received email tips during our trial phase that were always timely, including an offer to schedule a 1 on 1 consultation with a designer to ensure we were getting every advantage of the site. I took advantage of this and during our consultation, I had some questions the support person took back to the product team. She responded to me within a couple of hours of our consultation. One of those questions involved the product team making a change to add a link to a section of a page. Very responsive!

Our site has been live now for 2 months and our residents love it.

Vorteile:

* A helpful website with good content so we could do a thorough evaluation of their platform. * A very responsive support team who gives 1:1 assistance - more of a custom support experience without the high price tag of other custom web builders. * Very easy to setup and use - in about an hour, we were up and running. * Great value and functionality compared to other vendors in this space.

Nachteile:

There are some limitations in the page templates, but the support team has been very helpful in answering questions about the pages and always shares our feedback with the product team who made quick changes to support our requirements in some cases.

HOA Express is THE BEST!!!

Prior to our paid subscription, I had subscribed to "trial" periods for roughly 6 other HOA website templates. I was so impressed with the ease of use and the various options for creating unlimited pages within the website! What really hooked me was the fast response from IT!!! Their explanations to my questions are clearly spelled out, and many times include GIFs to support their explanation!
With the help of HOA Express, we've been able to create a website that is clean, useful, and aesthetically pleasing! Our residents absolutely love the website!!!

This is a full-featured website tool with incredible tech support

For many years my homeowners association used GoDaddy for hosting our website, along with their Website Builder tools. Our HOA board decided to find a product that any of our residents could manage without web-building experience. HOA Express fit the bill completely! It does EVERYTHING we need! Here are the features I like the most: - Extremely easy to design our website using templates. - Residents create their own login and password and can customize their security settings. - Directory lets each homeowner provide whatever information they wish to share with their neighbors. - Announcements, newsletters and other important messages can be emailed to every resident or to a specific group of residents like board members. - A sample email is sent to me to review prior to blasting it to the entire neighborhood. - Monthly or weekly emails are automatically sent to residents, summarizing upcoming events and new website content. - Texts can be sent to residents' cell phones for immediate communication such as security alerts. - Residents can pay HOA dues online from their bank accounts or by credit card. - Pages can be easily added and edited. - Documents and photos are uploaded lightning fast. - Changes made to website occur instantly! - Technical support questions are answered within 24 hours (sometimes even within 24 MINUTES) with clear explanations and video tutorials.

Our HOA has been a satisfied user of HOA Express since 2013.

Kommentare: Ability to communicate effectively and easily with all HOA Residents.

Vorteile:

Easy to set up, easy to administer. Customer Service questions answered in a reasonable length of time. Continuously adding improvements and new features in response to customer needs.

Nachteile:

The on-line manual could be more comprehensive. Sometimes I look for something there and then have to contact Customer Support. I have to mention that I always get a timely response from Customer Support.

Review of HOA Express

Kommentare: We are still in the early stages; it was suggested by a tech support rep that I, as the webmaster building this site, upload only the board member first to test the site and get feedback from them before inviting the entire community to log-in. That proved to be an EXCELLENT suggestion and allowed me to make many additions and changes BEFORE fully launching.

Vorteile:

The ease of use and the fabulous customer support after first trying another company and having nothing but frustrations! The support feature alone is easy to access and questions are answered almost immediately. The software is very basic but very logical and met all of our needs. The various types of "pages" allowed covered every possible need we have.

Nachteile:

The importing of the User data base is a bit rigid and should be expanded; i.e the import template only allows cell phone numbers and we need to have home phone numbers as well; two residents occupying the same unit (i.e. husband and wife) need to be entered as 2 separate lines - perhaps the template could be expanded to allow for the 2nd name and e-mail address at the same physical address all on one entry.

We use HOA Express for our Neighborhood Social Group (600 members and growing)

Vorteile:

Customer service is excellent. I get a return response within hours for any emailed question. The software is consistent throughout and allows us to quickly edit, add or change functionality and pages. Our site looks clean and professional.

Nachteile:

Some functionality is rigid and could be more flexible. However, even with that, Customer Service takes your requests and if logical, presents to the team for modification.

Small 55 plus community loves it

Kommentare: As the web master (by default since I am a retired computer company program manager) for our very small 42 unit 55 plus condo community, we needed an easy to set up and use web site. HOA Express filled that need and more and for very little impact on our HOA dues. Most used pages are the community directory, calendar, blast communications and parking lot folders for our financial and committee reports. the community directory makes creating hard copy versions of the directory easy and greatly appreciated by older residents who are still happier using a "telephone book" to call their neighbors. The calendar makes condo community event posting easy and individuals who wish to reserve the club house post their claim to the resource there as well. Reaching all residents quickly is a snap with blast communications, and i have given privileges to all residents to use this feature. Finally, all legal and important documents are filed in folders on the web site for all residents to review if desired. I am only using a few of the features offered since our community is so small, but love the overall ease of use, and the positive impact it makes on our community.

Web site up and running in 15-30 minutes.

Simple 2 tier scheme. Pay if you need those features. - Once your create a site, hoa-express sets up a free meeting with you! - No one to pay to create a site. You can try different layouts and pages!

Nachteile:

- Could not get the amenities thumb picture to expand, so the photos were added to the gallery so one could expand the photo..

A quick and easy customizable solution for HOA's

Kommentare: When I became a director of our HOA, we had no good way to communicate. The only surefire way was to go door to door or send notices via email. Not being a web designer I didn't want to create my own webpage so I did a search and stumbled upon HOA Express. Hands down it was the best decision we made as an HOA. We have used the service for 4 plus years and haven't had a single issue. Our residents feel informed and always complement the Board for running such an outstanding site. After quickly setting it up I can honestly say that we haven't had to do much to maintain the site at all. Residents can update their own email address and contact information, board members can send out mass notices or post information as necessary. Even coordinating neighborhood functions is easier with the calendar and neighborhood news sections. Support is also top notch. We don't get any spam emails or requests from other services and when you do have a question, Wes always seems to answer immediately. If you do have a suggestion for the site, he looks into it and adds it if he can. You cannot go wrong with HOA Express!

HOA Express gets an A+

Kommentare: Our homeowners association has used HOA Express for over 4 years. It has been the perfect tool for us and made the lives of our board members so much easier! Dissemination of information to our membership is a breeze...either by posting news articles, sending text, email, or old fashioned snail mail. HOA Express does it all! The website features are very easy to use. They are constantly improving the site and adding more features. The customer service has been A+, with questions answered immediately. Well worth the money.

Great Place for HOA Documents

We put or Rules and Regulations online as webpages for easy access along with other HOA documents. HOA Express made it easy for owners to register, select what personal information is seen by others and select what communications an owner wishes to receive. Easy to use. Easy to set up. Full featured.

Nachteile:

Works well. No gaps in functionality for what we were looking for.

Western Shores Association

Kommentare: My only difficulty with the website is trying to rearrange items in my treasurer's file. Every time I tried to order them, the original names of each entry was changed to simply Treasurer.
Since there were many files, I had to do it several times to get them in order.

HOA Express review
