Easy, efficient and without surprises

Kommentare: The registration tool was very efficient and I was able to create custom registration forms and collect all the necessary information from my participants in a clear and organized way. Additionally, the checkout process was simple and secure, making it easy for attendees to complete their registration.

Vorteile:

It exceeded my expectations in every way. What I liked the most about this platform is how easy and efficient it is to manage my events. From the moment I checked in, everything was very smooth and hassle-free.

Nachteile:

Even though the platform offers a lot of features, I felt it was missing a bit more flexibility in terms of customization. I would have liked to be able to further customize the registration forms and add a few extra fields based on some of my specific needs.

We have some users that do struggle with registration but some of that is due to not reading the instructions thoroughly.

It does what you need to do without the fluff

Kommentare: Overall my experience has been great. I was able to accomplish what I wanted through the use of it and hope to be able to continue to do so.

Vorteile:

What this platform is at it's core is that it get's you just what you need. Building the event for the second time went much easier than the first as you learn a lot and then can use more of it's functionality that you didn't know about. As I am about to go into my third event using Eventsquid, I will be using the in person check in that we haven't used and I am looking forward to seeing another feature at work. The support for issues was good and stuck with you until the issue was resolved.

Nachteile:

Sometime the nuts and bolts aspect wasn't what we needed. If we could have customized the look of the website/phone view we would have done so. Sometime it took the help desk took a few times to get them to understand exactly what has going on and what we needed. The first day we launched registration the website went down. Unfortunately, that did show a vote of confidence in the program to my Executives which I have had to reassure that it was probably a one time deal. I could have used some extra training time after the first 6 months. It would be great to do a quick touch base with how things are going and the issues that we were having. Even 1-2 hours would be incredibly helpful without having to pay the additional money.

Eventsquid will work for you. It does for us!!

All in One Solution

Kommentare: We have had a great experience with EventSquid. We have recommended the platform to our sister regions who now use it and to others that put on events.

Vorteile:

Creating a simple event structure is very easy. I enjoy the fact that I do not have to pay ala carte for features and this platform is an all in one solution.

Nachteile:

There is a bit of a learning curve in the beginning and multifaceted events don't always work perfectly. It also does not integrate with other services like ExpoBadge.

Eventsquid makes it personal!

Vorteile:

Our organization was planning to host an event of 2,000+ attendees, and we knew we had to have a registration and management software that could keep up with our demands, especially since our event is incredibly complex. After comparing and contrasting many options, we did decide to take the plunge with Eventsquid. Its offerings, ease of use, price point, and support staff really stood out when making the final choice. In fact, the staff and leadership of the company really made the difference, compered to the other companies and options. They were patient and understanding, and always ready to help and assist us with any questions or concerns we had. You aren't just another client or just a number with Eventsquid, they make it personal from the start and for us, that made all the difference!

Nachteile:

The reporting and statistics portion of the software left a bit to be desired. A lot of information is certainly available, but customizing the reports and nailing down specific data was difficult and sometimes simply not possible, due to the limitations of the software in categorizing the stats and figures. Also, when searching for specific attendees that have registered, to make edits or gather information, the search criteria has to be entered exactly as is was entered by the attendee originally. This makes searching for some attendees not very user friendly.

Great event registration software at a reasonable price!

Kommentare: This is our second year using Event Squid. FitnessFest Conference & Expo is a conference for fitness professionals. We have about four days and 8 "tracks/seminars or workshops" going on at once when we hold our events, not to mention an expo and a rather robust and sometimes complicated schedule and payment options. We have a very unique service and need a variety of things. FitnessFest entertained and researched several platforms before arriving at ES. I am a leery and picky person, and I can not tell you how thrilled I am at the decision we made to choose and to stick with ES! It does so many things that we are amazed with. Just coming off a Virtual event and now going into our second LIVE event with ES, we are very pleased we made the choice. In this ever changing world of technology, ES is constantly working to create more products and to improve systems. And perhaps top of our list of being pleased, is the customer service that [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] in particular has given us, as a team. This has been a big learning curve for us and we appreciate [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] taking the time to meet with our team (more than once or twice!) to answer questions and to explain things until we understood them.

Vorteile:

EventSquid is very user-friendly. We are able to capture all the information needed from our attendees. Integration with Paypal was great for us to process payments quickly and easily. EventSquid has made our jobs much easier than in the past. The reports generation is a huge plus. We can see so much data across mulitple workshops without having to do it manually. It has helped us save so much time!

Nachteile:

We feel we could have used a bit more training at the beginning to really utilize all the features of the software. We have a lot of complicated scenarios (mostly of our own doing) so we need to better understand how EventSquid can work best in those instances. Also sometimes certain actions feel redundant so might be good to be able to activate a function in multiple places. Lastly some things you have to push SAVE and somethings are autosaved. Would prefer autosave throughout the whole site.

Eventsuid is still rocking it!

Kommentare: Overall, we love Eventsquid! The price is fair and we are looking forward to renewal!

Vorteile:

Integration was easy, the team at Eventsquid is very responsive to questions. Over the last year, we have learned several features that we didn't know the software was capable of and we plan on renewing for another year with them.

Nachteile:

Nothing about Eventsquid is difficult. However, the exhibit booth layout section can get confusing if you don't know what you're doing. The E.S. team is always available for us to ask questions & get ideas on the best way to use certain features.

We just finished our first year and signed up for year 2!

Kommentare: We processed over 1500 registrations with very little complaints and system issues.

Vorteile:

The easily customizable forms, ability to quickly contact registrants, payment processing, dashboards, reports, and pricing are all great features of Eventsquid

Nachteile:

I would like to be able to pull a report to look at a year's worth of data. We would like an opening for item, when selecting the type of event. We noticed that it doesn't appear that you can add sponsorships with an event.

Eventsquid Works for Us!

Kommentare: We selected Eventsquid during the pandemic to helps us manage a virtual suicide prevention training course that takes place over two half-days. It has done a great job integrating with Zoom so we can deliver this critical course in a safe, secure environment. The ability to customize the participant registration questions have been key in our ability to study the success of the training in providing critical tools for the people we serve. All interactions with Eventsquid have been professional and customer service-oriented.

Vorteile:

Eventsquid is a very robust product with a lot of features and their support has been quite responsive.

Nachteile:

We've always wished the calendar components integrated with Google calendar as we don't use Outlook. And we wish the registrant data were available across all of our events, instead of on an event basis. From that perspective, Eventsquid is much more of an event management system as opposed to a learning management system -- but we have made it work by combining event-specific exported reports to a whole picture view.

Great Software and Customer Service

Reporting. The reporting is very good and you can customize but it takes time to get the information in the format you want it in.

Great Software!

Vorteile:

This software is easy to use and allows me to create multiple attendee profiles. Before using this product I had to manage 3 registration sites for one conference in order to customizes the prices and questions. This software has made my life much easier.

Nachteile:

I would like a bit more freedom when in comes to customizing the look of my events. For instance, if I could add a date box with custom dates, additional maps, additional text boxes, etc.

EventSquid Excellent Choice for Higher Ed

Kommentare: We are extremely pleased with EventSquid and would highly recommend.

Vorteile:

This product is extremely easy to use and intitule. We have used the platform for 2 large conferences with multiple registration profiles. We loved the ability to make changes on the go as we encountered confusing questions.

Nachteile:

We had an issue with our institution not allowing us to use the payment features. we would have loved to have integrated those into our system. This was not an EventSquid issue.

Eventsquid helped us move our conference from a regional to an international event!

Kommentare: We feel very fortunate to have found Eventsquid about 6 years ago! We were at a point in time when we were growing and needed professional software that would allow us to achieve our goals. It has exceeded our expectations and we consider them a critical partner as we grow each and every year. If you are looking or an event management company that won't break the bank or be too corporate focused but has the sophisticated technology needed to grow then I highly recommend Eventsquid. they know us, they get us, and they have the technology to make us go beyond our hopes and dreams.

Vorteile:

There are so many green features that allowed us to offer an incredible, simple and intuitive experience for our attendees and potential registrants. the newest feature we have used is the Virtual Event option. We have used this for the last two years and it has allowed us to offer a hybrid event of the highest quality. the growth and scalability of our conference has been significant due to this offer from Eventsquid.

Nachteile:

Our team truly enjoys the software and if there are features we would like to see the Eventsquid team is open to hearing that and they also help us to see how to solve the problem with their existing functionality as we often just don't realize the functionality is there.

Eventsquid Software Perfect For Our Association

Kommentare: The Eventsquid platform and team are wonderful to work with. The customer support was wonderful and the team implemented features based on feed-back.

Vorteile:

Eventsquid is an easy-to-use platform. The registration features is one we liked most about this platform. As an association with multiple member levels and many options available during registration including early-bird discounts, etc. The Eventsquid platform allowed us to create this options in an form that was easy for a user to understand and navigate. The price tier feature allowed us to set a price increase on a certain date and it automatically changed. During the pandemic the platform also allowed us to include health safety protocol guidelines and "ready-to-attend" options during the registration process.

Nachteile:

The process on users receiving their login information when misplaced or forgotten.

Good Functionality for Reasonable Investment

Kommentare: The system is very comprehensive. Customer Service is excellent, knowledgable and guides you through the best way to implement your specific workflows. We are very pleased with the company's responsiveness to our needs and we continue to renew due this support and the quality of the software.

Vorteile:

We use Eventsquid for managing our large and mid-size conferences plus all our virtual professional learning sessions. The initial implementation (content, registration, notifications, reporting) was logical and easy to set up by non-technical staff. Events can be cloned making the setup of new events much faster. The ability to do group registrations, customize the registration forms, track participants by session, and manage the financials is excellent. We used Stripe CC and Purchase Orders for payment. Next we will add check in and out and the new Professional Learning module features as this will allow our workflow tasks to stay within Eventsquid (Certificates, Virtual session attendance, etc.). The system is very comprehensive and has everything we need to run our events, plus more.

Nachteile:

Some great features are not always apparent and can be overlooked during the setup process, e.g, linkage of an action triggering an action in another section.

Strongest Solution for Associations and Member Organizations

Kommentare: The EventSquid team leads with terrific support and backs it up with a very robust solution, regular improvements, and frequent additions to the features and functionality. Our events vary from local meetings with 4-40 people up to week long major events and seminars of several hundred people. If EventSquid didn't support out of the box a particular way we wanted to charge our members or do break outs or promotions, then they would take the time to understand the use case and we almost always found a way to do it or saw new functionality released in time for us to use for that event. The CEO is intelligent, cares deeply about customer satisfaction, and drives the entire team for constant improvement. The solution has come a long way in the year and a half we've been a client and we look forward to the continued release of exciting new capabilities. If you only do one event a year, EventSquid should be strongly considered. However, if you have more than 1 event a year with some of the same attendees, there isn't a better solution to support your members. My 4 Star ratings reflect most on the complexity of any event system. EventSquid is about the easiest I've seen to use for large events. The Quality and Functionality Scores reflect that EventSquid is earlier in their development than some of the other leading solutions in this space, but EventSquid has been rapidly closing any gaps and has some exciting capabilities that most of the other solutions lack. Michael and his team at EventSquid have been a true and valued partner to us, which has been invaluable to the events side of our business.

Member driven with member history and profile capabilties. Ease of use and flexibility.

Nachteile:

Some of the mobile aspects and integration, all of which have improved greatly and have additional improvements and capabilities coming on the roadmap.

First Time User With Eventsquid

Kommentare: We are very excited to utilize the software again for our 2023 conference!

Vorteile:

We loved the incredible flexibility provided by the software to accomplish everything we needed it to do to run a multi-day healthcare conference for 1200 attendees

Nachteile:

There were a few little hiccups, but in all honesty, this is probably due to our lack of experience with the program.

Thank You Event Squid

Kommentare: Our overall experience has been great. They are great to work with and good at responding to support questions. While there are some drawbacks to the program, overall it's functionality is very good.

Vorteile:

We like being able to use one platform for exhibitor and conference attendee registration - as well as have all of that information populate into a website specifically for our event (which doubles as a conference app). All of the safety features to help walk someone through the registration process are a real plus as well.

Nachteile:

The exhibitor specific registration part is very basic and has little flexibility. It would be great if it could be configured like the attendee registration. We've made it work for us by making exhibitors an attendee type and having them register that way. Setting up the various registration types can be confusing and time consuming - however EventSquid's support has been very helpful. It would also be nice to have the ability to import session information instead of having to input it all manually.

Eventsquid Rocks!

Our experience with EventSquid has been great! They are great to work with and very helpful!

Kommentare: It's made registrations for our events so much easier than ever before. It makes it helpful to have a website our attendees can go to for information and registration. I love that we can send out emails and surveys directly from the software. It truly makes communicating with our guests very efficient and effective.

Vorteile:

Once you get used to setting up an event, it's very easy to use and navigate. It has most everything we need for events and makes the registration process for events seamless. They take all of your suggestions into consideration and the help desk is very responsive and fast!

Nachteile:

There are some things that we would like to update but cannot as they are standard across the board. However, their software development team takes everything into consideration and they are usually able to help out with any customization we need.

We are a financial services firm and have used Eventsquid to schedule seminars for advisers.

Kommentare: Ability to easily create websites, apps, manage ticketing, sales and everything when it comes to hosting an event! Lots of great tools to utilize in order to get the job done smarter, not harder.
It can feel overwhelming, but they do truly provide a ton of different tools you can use when planning/marketing your specific event. All very easy to understand, though.

Vorteile:

Very simple and truly functional service that makes it a breeze to market any type of event. Extremely attractive website landing pages that handle everything from registration to ticketing & sales. We have used this to host events for financial advisers and it takes the stress away from making sure that the events are filled and time is not being wasted. Did I mention that they also can create an app for you!?

Great event management software!

Vorteile:

I love their customer service! They have been incredibly responsive with and have gone out of their way to try and add on elements that would make our lives easier!

Nachteile:

I feel like the core of the product it is geared towards sporting event registrations, but the team has been really proactive about helping implement changes that are more beneficial to our use!

Vorteile:

For a very affordable price, the human resources team manages both event registration and administration tasks more quickly than usual. Eventsquid has a unique way of outlaying details of an event in a comprehensive yet visually pleasant manner. Lovely integration with mobile app solutions too.

Nachteile:

I cannot think of any in all honesty. Maybe periodic updates of the interface that may cause confusion. The Eventsquid staff always follows up with tutorials however.

Recomned

Kommentare: Eventsquid is the best event management software I have used for overall event and attendee management, event communications. It is a one stop platform for both the planner and attendee.

Vorteile:

Registration and attendee management. I also like the addition of managing virtual events.

Nachteile:

Setting up registration can be tedious, but the outcome is worth it.
