Great, great product
Kommentare: Working with HostMe App has been awesome. I feel they really do value feedback. Their support team is very helpful when you run across an issue, or want to know how to get the app to work the way your restaurant needs it to. This is the big thing - I felt we were customizing Hostme to work the way our staff, guests and restaurant need it to, rather than everyone else conforming to the way the app works.
Vorteile: Flexibility and control . For small restaurants it is great to manage those busy nights and for larger establishements, it offers loads of features and customizations. It goes beyond reservations to also track guest preferences as well as event booking and fees. The scalability of the platform as well as the incredibly responsive customer support and development team members have made this a great answer for us to ditch our 3-ring binder reservation book !
Nachteile: When you first start using the app, you may feel overwhelmed if you are a small restaurant just looking to digitally manage reservations. Fortunately, you can slim down the app to only do what you need. Don't want to do table selection? Turn it off. Don't want to track server rotation? Turn it off. Don't want to have to automatically confirm every reservation as they are made online? Set it up to automatically accept X-number of guests per X-amount of time, beyond that threshold the guest will be told their reservation must be reviewed by staff to be confirmed. Really, the negative that this software is too robust for even the smallest restaurant can't be said, because it can be controlled feature by feature to only do what you need!

Easy and secure
Kommentare: Conference calls with various offices/people is now much easier!
Vorteile: Always leery of online conferencing programs, some can be a real pain, but when introduced to Hostme by someone outside of our company that was using it for a meeting, really enjoyed the experience. Have since downloaded the software and now use it for live meetings. A great find!
Nachteile: Thus far I have not run into any issues with this software. It is easy to schedule, setup and connect!

Great support and best price/quality.
Kommentare: We pay monthly and get everything we need, vs OpenTable, where we paid per week just for reservations and there were many no shows as well.
Vorteile: It's definitely the best solution for our restaurant at this price. We have about 40-60 online reservations each week + we manage all walk-ins in Hostme. In other services we would pay extra money per online reservations or more devices, features. We use it on 2 iPads in our restaurant + I as a manager always have access to the system from my Android phone and computer. Yes, great istant support and learning materials were definitely the big plus for all our team.
Nachteile: Even it's full of features, there is no booking credit card hold yet. Current online reservation page is too simple, there're no photos of our place, food, menu e t. c.

Easy and intuitive restaurant management app
Kommentare: I got up to speed in no time and trained my host staff quickly. This app can be installed on one or several tablets so we can easily share that information throughout our restaurant. It has also helped assign table to servers which honestly was a nightmare for us and a source of conflict. Support is quite fantastic, they probably never sleep. I love Hostme.
