Wodify is as Close to Perfect as Possible

Vorteile:

Wodify is easy to use for me, my coaches, and my clients. Recent updates to the Wodify app have transformed the ease at which my clients do business with me on a daily basis.

Nachteile:

My least favorite aspect of Wodify is the payment processing fees.

Our experience with Wodify

Kommentare: Swapping over from MindBody is one of the best decisions we have made as a studio. The team at Wodify are professionals who are constantly developing new features and diligently taking care of their current clients. It feels like we've bought into a team with the tools to help us succeed, rather than just a product to do a job.

Vorteile:

Their experienced team made swapping from MindBody easier than expected. We received a dedicated account manager who has an astonishingly quick response time and ensures that our issues get resolved promptly. Constant updates and new features with transparency on what is being developed. Custom reporting is incredibly helpful and allows us to take a microscope to any part of our business in a quick and repeatable manner. It's usefulness cannot be overstated. Family account management is easy for clients and admins.

Nachteile:

Billing for seminars or multi-day events is tricky. We ended up creating our own billing solution with Stripe. First-time client setups require more setup than expected. There is no way to automatically assign progressions (belts), adding new family members to an existing account requires manual input.

Terrible Support & Constant Glitches

Kommentare: There is always something wrong with the back end Wodify Core app. You can never rely on it to make a quick change or upload a new workout due to constant glitches and freezing.

Vorteile:

It was great to have everything packaged into one place for managing my gym.

Nachteile:

The support at Wodify has never actually fixed any issues. They will either "add it to the list" or push the fault on you. I recently got charged 2x for the same invoice due a a chargeback and wodify did nothing to help me and told me to work it out with my member. When I tried to do that, I gave her a refund and then lost the entire invoice once again because wodify did not communicate the refund to the bank. Their resolution was for me to "work it out with my member or the bank". I've been with them for over 9 years now and will be leaving next month.

Have it all in one spot!

Vorteile:

Tracking years of lifts & benchmarks is amazing to have right in your pocket. As an owner operator being able to have people sign into class allows us to prepare for four members or 24 members depending on the day and time of class. Having punchcard members is super helpful to use the system digitally and get rid of paper cards.

Nachteile:

I can never do as much on my phone as I can on the desktop it tends to just keep loading.

We used to use Zen Planner, and LOVE Wodify!!

I am very happy to pay a mid-tier price for the 5 star support we receive regularly. We always feel like we're receiving white glove service.

Vorteile:

It is flexible and dynamic. We had specific needs and Wodify was by far the best product we evaluated. They really do well in every area.

Nachteile:

Wodify had some 2 periods of down time last year (only a couple hours in length), but they have worked really hard the past 6 months to fix the issues. We haven't seen a hiccup since!

Best Option for Fitness Classes

Kommentare: Overall I'm pretty happy with it. There are some things I would like to see improved but mostly it works well for me.

Vorteile:

Wodify is pretty easy to use. The client apps function well.

Nachteile:

There are some glitches. Auto-cancelling classes doesn't always work.

Greay MMA gym mgmt tool

Kommentare: Am immensely pleased with Wodify and am very thankful for the ease of use and practicality of the tool.

Vorteile:

Ease of use, fantastic on-boarding reps, great tool support, client/provider transparency.

Nachteile:

Unique group event/seminar management comes up somewhat short.

A very happy customer

Kommentare: My business switched over from another software 6 months ago. While it is more expensive than the one we were using, it is well worth the money. Wodify takes care of everything from payment processing to letting you know which clients are at risk from cancelling (a fantastic feature), to scheduling events all in one area. It is extremely user friendly and very easy to learn which was one of the main reasons we chose to go with Wodify over other softwares. I am a busy person and just did not have the time to scratch my head with a complicated software.

Vorteile:

It is extremely user friendly and very easy to learn. Things just make sense.

Nachteile:

Memberships are not automatically prorated. You cannot end a membership on a specific date, it has to be at the end of the billing period.

As Advertised

Kommentare: Wodify is a great product and I don't see our gym moving away from it ever.

Vorteile:

The fact that the software is ever-evolving and improving. I love that the Wodify company is not resting on a good product. But trying to make it better.

Nachteile:

I wish that help articles were easier to understand and user-friendly. I tend to find myself not fully understanding what the help is trying to say.

There’s better out there

Kommentare: Wodify is okay, it gets the job done when the phone app is working.

Vorteile:

Easy to see workouts, can see class schedule, keeps records of benchmark works that your members can look back at

Nachteile:

App on phone is dysfunctional pretty often, can’t see actual names of people that are reserved to class, app is very slow

5+ year user

Kommentare: I’ve researched other companies in trying to save time and money, and have never been able to check every box, wodify always comes out on top and i’m happy

Vorteile:

It’s an all in one. rather than multiple platforms to jump around to, I have everything I need saving me time and energy

Nachteile:

Some features are hard to find / but I’ve never not been able to contact wodify and get help

A lot to learn, but some great features.

Kommentare: Overall, the customer service I have received has made wodify worthwhile. It has been a huge learning curve and a bit harder than I expected but there is always someone there to help!

Vorteile:

The Mobile version is a lifesaver. Being able to start, stop memberships and payments, send waivers and charge retail items was a huge sell for us! Retail/inventory/POS is also awesome and very user-friendly.

Nachteile:

Progressions could use a lot of work. We are 90% martial arts classes so this is a big deal for us. Members being automatically put into a list of their class type would also be something that would help us a lot. I don't feel like this should be something we should have to do on our own on the backend. We should be able to take attendance directly from those class lists.

Wodify is a great software for your gym

Vorteile:

I like it because it is built originally for a crossfit gym, features such as the white board and tracking your workouts are important for our members

Nachteile:

The search tools on the back end are slow to load sometimes erroring out.

Decatur Strength x Conditioning

Kommentare: My overall experience has been really good with Wodify. Excellent support service experiences whenever I’ve had an issue.

Vorteile:

The easy to use features and the consistency in the quality of the software.

Nachteile:

I miss the “nutritional journal” feature. We used it a lot to hold athletes accountable with nutrition.

The best, combines systems for the owner and the end user.

Kommentare: Integration combines many systems and I can use my smartphone to run them all. It handles everything for you.

Vorteile:

They are always evolving. Updates, new features, always something. They listen to their clients and make improvements.

Nachteile:

The only thing I don't like is how the many on the left side does not have s scroll bar. Make it hard to navigate.

Very disappointed

Vorteile:

A typical CRM. Not offering anything beyond the competition. Ease of use for our clients. Like any other CRM, once it's setup it is on cruise control.

Nachteile:

Overpriced. Won't listen to suggestions. Lead funnel is very limited. Customer service is days to respond.

Mountain Range Fitness

Vorteile:

I love using the app to sign into class, Check members into classes, and see the workouts for the days ahead!

Nachteile:

Sometimes win the software is updated the app will have a little bit of lag time. Whenever we have reached out to modify they have been able to correct this for us pretty quickly!

Been using this for 3 years and it's amazing!!

Our box using Wodify daily and it's great to be able to see the WOD everyday and to compare your scores with other people in your box.

Nachteile:

Not much bad thing to say about Wodify, it can be glitchy something.

Kommentare: Wodify is a solid solution. It allowed me to prepare for my workouts and track my progress.

Vorteile:

Lifetime fitness had us use wodify to track our workouts in one of their classes. I like how easy it is to use, the ability to message my trainer and get up to the minute info on my workouts

Nachteile:

I have no complaints about the software. I have used other fitness tackers but wodify was simple and easy and kept me on track.

Nachteile:

When it comes to generating ANY report, it lacks a lot of common sense and features.

Wodify Gym Management

Kommentare: Overall, Wodify has provided a good value and accomplishes what's needed as a management tool.

Vorteile:

Wodify is widely and consistently used. Great way to stay organized and track workouts/progress in one place.

Nachteile:

The user experience could be improved upon from a functionality/design standpoint but no major complaints.

Fantastic crossfit software

Vorteile:

The user interface and user experience is fantastic. The application is super clean (admin side). The mobile application is also great.

Nachteile:

The athlete side could be improved, is old but works great. A improved mobile application to the athlete is also a point that could be improved.

Not enough for how much you pay

Vorteile:

I liked the layout and app were nice and eye catching

Nachteile:

Everything we needed was an additional add on. We would end up paying an astronomical amount for little things that would have been helpful to our business.
