Vorteile:

Vonage is extremely helpful in our day-to-day operations because we can quickly pull up numbers and copy them over onto our scheduling/client platform to see which clients called immediately.

Nachteile:

We are still working on our fax numbers. Porting the number from our previous provider has proven difficult.

Unstable Technologie and no Support

Kommentare: Die Plattform ist okay. Nicht besser oder schlechter als die Wettbewerber. Aber die technische Umsetzung ist eine Katastrophe wie oben beschrieben. Der Fehler von Vonage hat uns sehr viel Geld gekostet und es gab bisher kein Entgegenkommen von Seiten Vonage's.

Vorteile:

Vonage hat nichts besonderes, die Plattform ist aber optisch okay.

Nachteile:

Vonage hatte einen technischen Fehler, der unsere SMS intern geblockt hatte. Dieser Fehler von Seiten Vonage's hat uns mehrere Tausend Euro gekostet. Anstatt uns den Schaden zumindest du einem Teil zu erstetzen, haben sie uns einen kostenlosen Online-Kurs angeboten. Ein absoluter Witz.

Great product for small companies

Kommentare: Great!!! I definitely recommend this software and even though it might seem a bit more expensive than others in the market, their quality is definitely worth it.

Vorteile:

It is an amazing product for small companies. It has several useful features that work great for your business needs. Compared to other similar software out there, Vonage is way more reliable for your communication needs.

Nachteile:

Even though we do love Vonage, sometimes getting in contact with customer service is a bit time consuming and tricky, but once you are connected to a customer service representative, you know you will get the help you need.

Honestly, I can't say if there is one. I love using it both on a MacBook and iPhone.

Vonage Business Communications was just ok

Kommentare: It as meh. We were by no means enamoured by their customer service and we've moved on and been very happy with other VOIP services since. We've tested several services over the years and even changed a couple times in the last 15+ years but we would not go back to Vonage.

Vorteile:

Vonage Business Communications was fine. It checked most of the boxes and satisfied most of our needs. It was OK. It is just like any of the other business VOIP services out there.

Nachteile:

We did not like their customer service. A few years back we needed some help and they were mildly helpful and only at their discretion. Things may have changed by now but we won't go back.

A good way to have your call center in order

Kommentare: It has great quality on calls and keeping trakc of your agents via status on thier clients, you can even force to send calls to them if you have someone on a different process. you can listend to calls live, or recordings in both platforms needed. keep in mind on vonage businesss the storage is more limited that in Cotact center, you can even download and connect it via APis, so I'd say we are having a great time managing our call flow wiht multiple queues base on our needs.

Vorteile:

You need two products from vonage but once you have VOnage business and vonage contact center your are able to set up and manage a call center and its workflow and keep track of how your agents are behaving and even assist them if needed via call whispering or call monitoring,

Nachteile:

It can be a bit complex to understand how to connect evrything to get the call flow in order.

If you want a big name with a big price tag

Kommentare: Overall it was a pleasant experience. We got exactly what we needed at the time nothing more nothing less. We ended up switching and got wayyyyy more for way less and now we could never go back!

Vorteile:

Our call quality was always crystal clear and never dropped or missed a call.

Nachteile:

We least like the price point and the long contracts that would auto renew without a notification and even on weekends/ holidays.

Great Customer Service!

Kommentare: Relatively good compared to other companies we use for similar services. Customer support is good; reps are pro-active and helpful and will go out of their way to find you a solution.

Vorteile:

The best thing we have found with Vonage Business Communications is the Customer Service. The reps really do try and help you out and take a pro-active approach which is highly unusual in the telecom industry.

Nachteile:

Sometimes when you are trying to get information from their billing department, they seem to be unable to provide it. This appears to be more of an operational issue than a personnel issue.

Great voip phone system

Kommentare: Setting up Vonage is easy and straightforward and the customer service is top tier.

Vorteile:

Vonage is straightforward and easy to set up they have phenomenal customer service. I have several customers that used Vonage and are absolutely elated about the price and service.

Nachteile:

I would say my least favorite thing about Vonage would be the mobile application as it tends to crash more than expected if you are not using an iPhone.

My company left Vonage for a dialer - after over a month wish they would switch back

Kommentare: I used Vonage for 2.5 years in Moving, and I felt no "slow season", the ease of it's use through 2 companies kept my income level steady and high. It was easier to reach more customers with the Vonage integration suite using the click to dial feature and texting that was done through my Moving Software. More contacts =more sales=more money with commission only based jobs.

Vorteile:

The click to dial integration suite that made it so easy to call customers straight from our moving software and send personalized texts. More contact and lead touches = more sales more $$$$

Nachteile:

Now that we have switched to a more costly, not easily integrated, auto-dialer that made my sales at 40% booked jobs from data and inbound calls drop down to 1%, NO COMPLAINTS certain businesses are meant for dialers, with my industry, keeping it simple like Vonage does, and ease of use is the way to go.

Easy to Use VIOP Service

Disappointing SMS Services and Poor Customer Service from Vonage

Kommentare: I recently decided to try Vonage's SMS services for my business, and saying I am disappointed would be an understatement. As a telecom provider, Vonage should have excelled in their essential services but failed to deliver on its promises.When I first signed up for Vonage's SMS services, I was assured that my company number would be registered quickly and seamlessly. However, weeks passed, and my number still hadn't been registered. This has caused a significant hindrance to my business, as we relied on this service for essential communication with our customers.Upon contacting their customer service, I was informed that the volume of users they were trying to register had caused a backlog. While I understand that such technical challenges can arise, it is unacceptable for a company like Vonage to allow these internal issues to affect its customers negatively. They should have been more prepared to handle the volume and avoid backlogs.Furthermore, the customer service provided by Vonage was far from satisfactory. Instead of empathizing with my concerns and offering a solution, they passed the buck by blaming the issue on the backlog. As a customer, I shouldn't have to bear the burden of their internal challenges. The customer service team should have been proactive in addressing my concerns and finding a solution to my problem.In conclusion, my experience with Vonage has been nothing short of frustrating.

The mobile application is easy to use along with its features.

Worst customer service and sales team who promise and don't deliver.

Apparently, they should provide a large range of solutions. But I hadn't the opportunity to explore them, one I was so disappointed with customer service on the very first one.

Nachteile:

Customer service is a joke. They kept my money and didn't deliver the service on a technicality.

Kommentare: My experience with Vonage has been good. No major glitch that i found while working on Vonage.

Vorteile:

Vonage is user-friendly and can work on even a slow internet connection. We can do screen recordings and send a broadcast message as well. Your own Team Members' contact details are easily available. So anytime you need to call them or find email id's, It's all there for you. Also, we can record calls as well which will help us in quality audit & control. There is also an option to check reports on how many calls you made, received, and the call duration as well. Overall it's a great product!

Nachteile:

The one thing that I don't like about this product is when it is integrated with any other software like ceipal to make calls. The call logs will not appear on the Vonage call logs. Rest everything is good!

Kommentare: Compared to other providers I found that Vonage offered the most bang for your buck. Their solution and support has been solid and I find the user portal to be user friendly.

Vorteile:

The mobility app is a life changer since you can now make and take calls from anywhere in the world and the person calling in would think you are in the office.

Nachteile:

For smaller customers you are pushed towards using the instant chat as it is not easy to call in for support.

Simplify Business with a Simple Business VoIP Phone System

Vorteile:

Easy to implement. Easy to manage. Works great, no hitches, glitches, misses. Perfect for a Small or Medium Business. Great value for the money; translate: very inexpensive. Make your small business come across as a big business. Smartphone App works great too.

Nachteile:

There are MANY 3rd Party Apps that claim to be integrated with Vonage. We didn't have the best of luck using them, to be honest, but they weren't too business critical, so it didn't bother us too much; but it still would be nice to make ZohoCRM or Connectwise work integratedly.

Premium Pricing, Insufficient Support, Unnecessarily Complex Interface

Kommentare: It provides us with voice communications including an autoattendant. However, the experience has been quite frustrating due to high prices and poor service. The only reason I haven't switched us is because other more important projects are waiting.

Vorteile:

- The mobile app is pretty slick and just works.

Nachteile:

- Pricing is on the higher end for these sort of services and lots of functionality not included by default, must use paid add-on. - The emails they send regularly link to their old admin dashboard, when you click you are prompted to visit the new dashboard, redirected to the individual (instead of admin) dashboard and then have to navigate into the admin dashboard. - The UI has improved leaps and bounds over the years but still is over complicated. - We've had an issue for ~1 yr (maybe more) where we are unable to create new voice recordings for the auto attendant (either using their call in feature or uploading a prerecorded file). Always get the run around on this - it is our browser (we are trying from multiple computers using multiple browsers, and yes we have cleared our cache), etc. Sometimes told there is an issue but it will be fixed by x date (never is). In the end we always have to have them upload the file. This time was told it was our network (but we've done it from multiple networks - office and multiple homes with their own ISPs) using both office and personal computers (e.g., it isn't a security program etc. on our computers).

Easy to Use

Kommentare: Vonage's apps for computers and phones makes it a seamless extension of my business.

Vorteile:

I love that you can forward calls and messages to your personal cell phone, eliminating the need for corporate phones should the company desire. In addition, the desktop app makes it easy to make calls (even international ones) from anywhere. I like the integration of a company's contact list and speed dials for international locations--we have a large presence outside of the US and it's so simple to speed dial to Ireland quickly. You would think a US-based company would have trouble with this, but it's honestly so seamless with Vonage. Our Corporate team is very happy with the services they provide at a very fair price. I really appreciate how Vonage makes our workflows easier and more efficient.

Nachteile:

I wish that the features of calling a number directly from your computer were better, but honestly that doesn't impact my job too much. There are no major cons for me.

Abysmal Customer Service/Support

Kommentare: There were numerous issues with porting our number that came with vague issues that didn't tell us what was wrong, lack of follow-up communication, ineffective troubleshooting, and lack of training by their reps which required numerous chats (they're no longer available for support by phone) and resubmissions to try and resolve. During that time, we were being billed for both Residential and Business and we asked about VB billing and/or a refund since we couldn't use the service. At no time were we ever told by reps that we should ask to "suspend" the service (which we found out almost 4 months later we should have asked for), just that we could ask for a refund once the number ported successfully.
We finally got ported last week and asked for a refund today. We were told we could have a very small portion refunded back because we did not "ask" for a "suspension" by Supervisor [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] We asked her to review all of their prior chat transcripts that showed that not one of their reps on the many interactions offered this as an option, so how could we have known? Her reply was to ignore that completely and offer us a miniscule refund. At no point was she willing to entertain that it was a problem on their end (as the chat transcripts showed), that they were sorry, their reps should have communicated the appropriate process, and that as a result we were due a refund". Instead she said they did no "wrong". Abysmal support and lack of regard for us as a customer.

Marketed features and pricing met our fixed budget and needs for a smaller Service Desk.
