Vorteile:

Free AND HIPAA compliant with good reliability!

Nachteile:

Inability to share screens with free version, but cant really complain- is free.

Doxy.me is the only telehealth/teletherapy tool for me!

Kommentare: Pretty close to perfect. I get great service, very few call issues (which are generally an internet issue and NOT a Doxy issue), and for the price I get a TON of great tools and abilities.

Vorteile:

I love everything about Doxy. The price, the ease of use, the ability to communicate with patients en mass via waiting room announcements, and the ability for my patients to come into the waiting room for links to coping skills and important research documents. I can collect payments right through Doxy via Stripe, collect patient feedback via Dokbot, share information via screen share, and file transfer. Doxy provides analytics and meeting histories, and connects you will tools like therapeutic exercises with reminders, group calls, and electronic teleconsent with signatures.

Nachteile:

Honestly, there's nothing I "like least". I would say the one thing I would consider an improvement would be to add a reminder sound (ding!), which can be set for each call individually (or not at all) by the provider, to remind both patient and provider that it's time to "wrap it up." And while this would be a wonderful addition, I definitely don't consider it a deal breaker.

Doxey.me for psychiatric sessions.

Kommentare: It is very useful for patients who have moved away and cannot easily get back to this city for a session. It also is very beneficial if I happen to be gone on a trip etc.

Vorteile:

It was fairly easy to integrate. The quality of the audio and video seems to be improving over time. It is very convenient to use if patients live far away from my office and is usable if I happen to be away from my office on a trip etc.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the audio and video are difficult to use or might be of poor quality. As above, that does seem to be improving as bandwidth etc. improves.

Vorteile:

So user-friendly for me and our consumers. Provides excellent value for the investment.

Nachteile:

When using the background feature I can only use the blur, as the other backgrounds do not integrate the background in a way that is not distracting. The feature needs work integrating and blending the facilitator with the background smoothly.

Reliable and secure

Kommentare: Over all experience the last three years have been with very little tech. issues, very reliable, Video feed improved, and added services. I have a professional account it works great.

Vorteile:

Security encrypted end from end and HIPPA compliant.

Nachteile:

occasional technical issue on other end with clients, mostly Android phones

Easy to Use, worth every penny

Kommentare: I have used Doxy for 4 years. I checked out a number of competing platforms, all of which had more cons than pros. Doxy keeps it simple for me and more importantly, for my clients.

Vorteile:

This is the simplest, most user-friendly telehealth platform I have ever used, including the one within the EMR system I use. Also, it's easy to add multiple participants, so it works great for meetings as well as therapy sessions.

Nachteile:

The security measures make the connection a little fussy i.e. if your camera has been used on another platform and that software is not closed, Doxy will not allow a video connection. I just have to be careful and prepared to troubleshoot with clients.

HIPAA compliant and easy to use

Vorteile:

I like that Doxy is fully HIPAA compliant. That really drove my decision to purchase. I also like that I can count on my hand how many times in 4 years I have had a technical issue with Doxy, and on those times it was really easy to get tech support.

Nachteile:

I can't say that there's anything I don't like about Doxy. It just takes a while to play with all the functions before you learn the full capacity of it (e.g., the white board, screen sharing functions), but I wouldn't call that a bad thing.

Reliable virtual platform

Kommentare: I have enjoyed using this platform and it has been quite reliable.

Vorteile:

I like that it is HIPPA compliant, easy to navigate, user friendly, and they offer a free version. My practice fluctuates and at times is slow which would not benefit me to pay the subscription.

Nachteile:

It would be nice if they offered different pricing options. I realized the higher you pay the more the "bells and whistles". The paid subscription has some great features which can be customized.

Exceptional Value

Vorteile:

Doxy.me is easy to set up and use, offers exceptional value, and is reliable.

Nachteile:

I use the free version, occasionally the video quality is not as nice as I would like it to be, yet this is not a deal breaker for me.

Kommentare: We have been an early user of the platform, even before COVID-19, and I found that the simplicity, reliability, and easy of use simply makes it the leading option among other products that try too hard to accomplish something simple. With no log-ins necessary for the clients, and compatibility across all operating systems and devices, Doxy truly offers the best product at the best value.

Vorteile:

I love the option to customize and white-label the product interface. This feature adds immensely to the patient experience and helps to elevate your brand.

Nachteile:

Audio connections are easily interrupted or disabled if the patient is using an outdated browser, has incoming calls, or swipes between windows. This does not happen too often, and Doxy includes simple troubleshooting steps for both the client and the provider. However it can be a deterrent to a timely start during a meeting.

Easy and User Friendly

Kommentare: Great overall experience! Doxy is user friendly, easy and it's very easy to send clients the link for logging on and they can keep using the same one or just easily send them another link if they can't find the original link in their old emails.

Vorteile:

Having the free version that still allows for therapy sessions to last an hour or more.

Nachteile:

I haven't really found a downside; occasionally the audio doesn't work for either my side or the other person's side but never quite sure if that's an internal Doxy glitch that occurs sometimes or it's just technology gremlins that can happen with any computer. I resolve it by using my cell phone to call the client and we still have the visual to see each other.

Practice and Patient Friendly Telemedicine

Kommentare: We originally transitioned during COVID when many offices were closed and we needed a telemedicine platform that was easy to use and easy to implement. Doxy.me was both of these things and we have continued to use it even though many of our patients have returned to the office for visits. I would recommend Doxy.me due to ease of use and ease to implement.

Vorteile:

Doxy.me provides an easy to use telemedicine platform for both the practice and the patient to use. Process is as simple as being notified that a patient is in the virtual waiting room and then logging in and initiating the patient visit.

Nachteile:

Cost is a little higher than other platforms but still a good value for the money and for a platform that is so easy to use.

Doxy me / psychiatry

Vorteile:

Ease of use. Reliable over years. Keeps record of time spent on visit for future reference.

Nachteile:

people can get frozen but usually recovers. Not sure how much compared to other telemed platforms.

Doxy.me a wonderful platform

Kommentare: Overall this is a wonderful platform. I would recommend and have recommended to all of my colleagues providing telebehavioral health services. It is well worth the cost; very cost effective, and so easy to use for both the clinician and the client.

Nachteile:

Nothing about the site I don't like. Apparently it has a lot of capabilities I am not familiar with and need to become more familiar so that I can leverage the entire site for my telehelath practice.

VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS FOR MEDICAL TELEHEALTH

IT'S A SOLID, PREDICTABLE PROGRAM THAT'S VERY EASY TO USE, VERY RELIABE, GOOD QUALITY VIDEO, IT WAS OUR VIRTUAL PLATFORM OF CHOICE IN MARCH 2020 WHEN FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS HAD TO BE REPLACED WITH VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS. WE USE THIS PROGRAM QUITE HEAVILY AND EVEN MORESO WHEN WE ADDED PSYCHIATRIC TELEHEALTH MEDICATION EVALUATION AND FOLLOW UP SERVICES. NOT ONE PROBLEM AT ALL WITH THIS PROGRAM FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS. I HIGHLY...HIGHLY....RECOMMEND IT.

Nachteile:

NOTHING...THE PROGRAM WAS IMPROVED UPON WITH MORE FEATURES ADDED. IT IS VERY COMPEITITIVELY PRICED

Recommend Doxy.me without reservation

Kommentare: It just works, and my clients report the same. GOOD JOB! And thanks. I've used both the free version and premium version. Premium offers online sessions with two clients, e.g., a couple, in two different sites, e.g., work places during their breaks. It's always reliable, always user friendly, and HIPPA compliant.

No complaints. I guess if the premium version were free, that would be even better!

Easy to use and nice features available.

Kommentare: It is okay. I like some or most of the features available. I do wish there was a way I could go in and see all my previous appointments that were scheduled, who attended, and who no-showed.

Vorteile:

Most all of the features I've used has been easy to use. I liked the interpreter services and scheduling aspect.

Nachteile:

If I had another program open at the same time as Doxy.Me, my headset would not work when I needed to use it (i.e. Microsoft Teams and having to attend meetings). I would have to log out of Doxy.Me then turn my headset off and restart it to get it working again. It's frustrating and waste of my time. Also, I haven't been able to find a log of my past appointments that have been kept and those appointments where a patient did not show for it.

Great program!

Kommentare: Great. I have not had any issues with the program. My patients love it too.

Vorteile:

It is easy for providers and patients. Waiting room for patients works great and lets my patients know I will be with them after I finish with my appointment.

Nachteile:

I love everything about it. It is a great program and gives stats on sessions as well.

Doxy.me works perfectly for me!

Kommentare: This site allows me to continue my private practice in the most convenient way at this time in my career when I am needed at home....although I began using Doxy.me because of the Pandemic, I have been able to move from my in town office to my home seamlessly.

Vorteile:

It is easy to use, reliable, protects privacy of client and inexpensive.

Nachteile:

Sometimes I have problems the audio and visual being in synch. This is usually solved by using various tools the tech department has suggested.

Reliablility

Kommentare: Overall, I am satisfied and plan to continue to use Doxy.me for my practice within a bigger practice.

Vorteile:

I depend on Doxy Me for virtual appointments with clients. The dependability, the notification when a patient is connected and in the waiting room, and the cost per month are all very important layers of rapport between healthcare providers as well as the service provider.

Nachteile:

The only issue I have encountered of late is the connectivity with patients who may be using older equipment but was able to use it on the same equipment just a couple months prior to the connectivity issues.

Excellent Product

Kommentare: Been with Doxy since the star of COVID when we were thrown into telehealth/telemedicine. We tries a few different companies but Doxy is the best we found in relationship to the size and need of the company.

Vorteile:

Love how all of our providers can use this to connect with patients/clients. Secure, works well, and easy to set up and operate.

Nachteile:

At times we have had some problems with connection. Not as common an occurrence in the past year.

Free and Easy - over the years

Vorteile:

I've relied on Doxy for years. I chose it early on because it was free and HIPAA compliant. I have intended to switch to another platform that I pay for, but Doxy is consistent and easy to use - both for me and my clients - on any device, so I have not made the move.

Nachteile:

I have no complaints. The free version does not include texting clients, so I use email, but I that is not a significant limitation for me.
