Vorteile:

Wenn man bereits Jira oder Confluence nutzt, ist Bitbucket die perfekte Ergänzung dazu. Man kann die Repositorys direkt Verknüpfen und Tickets dazu pflegen. Eine perfekte Ergänzung, wenn man im Unternehmen viel eigenen Code verwalten muss.

Nachteile:

Es gibt keine direkten Nachteile zu Bitbucket.

An alternative for the Atlassian environment

Kommentare: It was very easy to set up. I had the chance to propose this tool to my development team, and it helps and gets to its full potential if you are using other Atlassian tools.

Vorteile:

What I liked the most about using Bitbucket was the possibility of interconnecting everything from JIRA and Confluence directly and seamlessly to my repositories. This helped my team not only to save time but also to keep track of everything happening around our development cycle in a way that felt natural.

Nachteile:

The interface tries to differentiate from GitHub a lot, and sometimes it feels it is not something you need to innovate into; some things are just the way they are. I found the project->repository structure confusing, and navigating through them wasn't easy.

Best source codes versioning control platform for organizations.

Kommentare: It is a good product for even small business and jira integration is very smooth,very competitive price in market, there are some improvement required support in down times

Easy to version source codes. We can ensure maximum protection for our valuable source codes. Can set access permissions for repositories. We can easily review source codes

Nachteile:

When the service is down, it will remain down for more than 1 or 2 hours. Unable to archive repositories.

One of the simplest git hosts

Vorteile:

It is very simple to use, you simply create your repositories and then can push your code to them. It has great security features such as 2 factor authentication. I think you can create unlimited repositories

Nachteile:

The process for reviewing merge requests was more complex than on GitHub.

Fuel for CI/CD

Vorteile:

Easy learning curve, even for someone who is new to DEVOPS concept

Nachteile:

There is a need to make easy configuration of dashboard. One gets hang of it only after using it for a while.

The agile way to go with git

Kommentare: It’s nice, I think it is more organized and it works better in an organizational environment, but maybe for personal projects it’s not the best option

Vorteile:

I think it’s great for the integration with Jira, so it’s really useful to integrate in an agile team

Nachteile:

I think the only con that I can see is that there is not so many community out there as in other platforms as github and that they don’t have the dark mode

An application that has all the support and integration with Atlassian

Kommentare: I remember that I started with Bitbucket because to start with repositories, it offered me more than the others at zero cost.Then, after starting to work more intensely and manage projects, I opted for the Atlassian suite. I had already been using Trello for a long time and in another company I used Jira for incidents, and I also felt comfortable with these applications, so that I didn't change.

Vorteile:

Probably the integration with the complete Atlassian suite is what attracts me the most, working with Jira, Trello, Confluence and being able to solve problems from a support or customer service common to all these applications, greatly influences the decision to work with Bitbucket.

Nachteile:

Well, there are two clear competitors that take the majority of the repositories, but they are not mutually exclusive, you can use another of them, perhaps better in some aspects, while still taking advantage of the integration with the other applications.

A neat git server

Kommentare: I am very satisfied with Bitbucket as a git server that I am using at work for multiple projects. I could share codes with my collaborators and manage our codes in an efficient way.

Vorteile:

A Git-based source code repository hosting service with a friendly user interface and a clear layout

Nachteile:

Hard to find the details of a closed pull request that is not very recent. The recent ones are displayed on dashboard.

Bitbucket is a fantastic tool!

Kommentare: I’ve used bitbucket for over 5 years now. It’s a great tool and has really helped me see who is happening with my repos and streamline processes

Vorteile:

It’s a brilliant way to house and visualize your repos, review and comment on pr’s and see your full commit history in one place

Nachteile:

It can be a bit buggy at times which can really hinder being able to work collaboratively

Best Software for Version Control Tool

Kommentare: ok overall I have good experience with bitbucket and easily control the code and make pipelines so easy for live server.

Vorteile:

I am using this version control tool last from 2 tears and easily manage code using this. you can work with many peoples for one project.

Nachteile:

code revert process is so complicated if there is any bug in code and you want to do code revert then the process is complex but when you are new with this tool.

Kommentare: Positive experience, with BitBucket the development processes are more standardized and easy to implement and follow.

Vorteile:

The integration with Jira is one of our favourite BitBucket features. The UI is always clear and allows for full configuration of rules in order to approve the PR. The branching model configuration is also easy and very user friendly.

Nachteile:

When managing more workspaces the UI gives by default the latest viewed workspace, except for the personal workspaces. This could be confusing at first but it's a minor issue an user can get used to.

Efficient Git Repository Management

Vorteile:

It makes managing code repositories easy, like when we merged our latest feature branch with no issues.

Nachteile:

When managing multiple repositories, finding specific settings or options can be a bit of a hassle.

Great source control, with caveats

Kommentare: It's a perfectly adequate git host, though after using other offerings in the market, I tend to lean away from Bitbucket

Easy to set up repos and good enough permission management for users. Easy to organise repos into "directories".

Nachteile:

The Pull request experience isn't great, especially for longer-lived pull requests with a large amount of files. I hear batched comments to PRs were added recently, so that's a step in the right direction.

the JIRA integration, linking with the tasks or stories. Failure tacking, risk analysis, continuous integration

Nachteile:

it works great both the web and desktop instances

Vorteile:

It helps to save the code to the repository. The amazing feature it has it it could be integrated with project management tools such as Jira, Also one could create a issue in BItbucket and link it with jira which saves a lot of time and helps to track the status of the ongoing project.

Nachteile:

The user interface could be better since it is very hard to navigate. It does not show what changes the developer made while creating a pull request.

Great for teams

Vorteile:

Bitbucket is super easy to use and great for teams needing to house their code in the cloud. Everyone on the team can link their IDE to Bitbucket and pull or update code in seconds. Makes collaboration a breeze and you can also branch code.

Nachteile:

Setup can be a bit involved at first but once all the prices are in place it’s smooth sailing. Worth the setup it will save you time and easy for software dev teams.

Bitbucket review

Vorteile:

I used Bitbucked as a version control system. This was used with ArgoCD for continuous deployment. The environment is so easy to use and commiting changes was seemless

Nachteile:

Nothing on this for now. Maybe I'll have some after I explore other capabilities of the application

Vorteile:

Remote hosting, nice and sleek U.I, simple collaborative functions such as permissions and a history tab to compare between branches

Nachteile:

Limited integrations, and the pricing if you're looking into a repository for a project.

Useful tool for multi personnel teams

Kommentare: Has been a useful tool which freed me from depending on others for build deployments.

Vorteile:

The most useful feature for me has been the deployment and extracting the builds. Build management across multiple platforms is also used.

Nachteile:

Suggest integrating with more tools such as automated test tools.

Bitbucket Review

Excellent in source code management. He was also very helpful with CI/CD.

Nachteile:

Pipeline processes seemed a bit complicated
