Xref - review

Kommentare: The experience is positive and one that I would not give up given the many benefits it allows for all stakeholders. It definitely reduces our time to fill given the timeliness of submitting all information.

Vorteile:

The software is extremely easy to navigate for all parties; employer, referee and candidates. It provides updates/reminders/customization and visibility on when the references have been completed or if there are delays the candidate can follow up with the referee. The document is easy to read and provides "norms" which is extremely helpful when comparing other candidates responses to the market. The template allows enough room for those who want to respond with extensive answers and provides follow up details of the referee if needed. Given the ease of use the references are produced in a timely way and allows us to progress to offers quickly reducing our time to fill.

Nachteile:

There could be the opportunity for further customization however this does not cause any issues for our organsiation.

Best platform to use for Professional Reference Check!!!

Kommentare: Overall i would highly recommend this platform for mid size companies who only wants to do professional reference checks.It's convenient, value for money and faster.

Vorteile:

Very easy platform to use..Easy to put references in system and for recipient to put details of referrers , if any referrer decline to provide the recommendation, recipient can add more referrers details without back & forth.Instant email goes to candidate after details are entered. Not like other products where internal teams has SLA of 48 hours to approve and then Reference check initiated.They highlight if referrers and referee has been on same IP... which helps to detect false recommendation.

Nachteile:

The credit is lost if recepient doesn't fill the details in 2 weeks time which is quite a loss for company. They should credit it back to the account in such case.

Kommentare: Positive! customer service has been awesome and the company has shown openness to input and enhanced their platform.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and creates an efficiency in my work flow to avoid the back and forth with references.

Nachteile:

While it's a fairly straight forward platform there is alot of individual windows that require me to go in and out for each reference on each candidate.

Great Product

Vorteile:

Very easy to use. Great tracking and get notifications if there is suspicious activity, which is a very good feature. Makes life so much easy as a recruiter for me as I don't need to chase the referees.

Nachteile:

Too many notifications if a candidate has not responded. Sometimes candidates are contacting their referees to check if they will be okay to provide references before providing their details. I, as recruiter would get uncountable emails saying candidate has not responded. The alerts should be delayed for at least 48 hours and then send them if candidate still has not responded for 2 days or more.

Incredible Tool - Highly Recommend!

Kommentare: Fantastic experience. The tool provides a warm and human candidate experience, facilitated by user-friendly and smart software. Because the tool is so user friendly, people want to use it and it improves reference turnaround time. No need to deal with clunky reference forms or waste time on scripted phone calls. References can quickly and easily provide their info and candidates (and HR) can see where things are in the process, eliminating the need for painful and time consuming follow ups. Finally, the data insights are great and, again, we aren’t talking about using clunky dashboards that take time to decipher or multiple clicks to get at a subset of the information you want. The information you want is available at your fingertips. The product is just incredible.

Vorteile:

Usability, features, workflow. Overall it’s an incredible product that is quick, easy and intuitive to use. The workflow is human and makes it seem like you’re dealing with an individual, not a database. Every touchpoint (for candidate, reference, HR) is seamless and so helpful. It’s a product that actually enhances the recruitment and candidate experience because of the incredible usability of the platform. Beyond that, the data and insights are robust and available a your fingertips instantly. We aren’t talking about a clunky dashboard or painful online database, you can very quickly get your hands on the information you need because the system has already done all the analysis you need. Fantastic tool that helps you provide a positive experience during the screening process and improves turnaround time.

Nachteile:

Hadn’t integrated criminal background checks for Canada but that’s in the works. Once it’s a one-stop-shop I have no doubt it will be the dominant platform of choice for prescreening and references.

You cant afford NOT to use XRef

Kommentare: I took time for us to get uptake from the consultants, and we do not use XRef every time, but it is essential tool for us when we are refencing contractors, and high volume roles, not as relevant for our executive search business.

Vorteile:

1. Saving consultants time (and hence us money) 2. Turnaround of references 3. Quality of references 4. Pricing model (not Saas)

Nachteile:

1. Getting consultants to change the way they work, which was helped by XRef hiring a customer success manager 2. Not having the opportunity to business develop when reference checking

Easy to use product

Kommentare: Easy to use, and well integrated with my recruitment software.

Vorteile:

Love the API connection with my recruitment software program, it means initiating a reference check is as quick as pressing a button!

Nachteile:

Lots of email workflow to the admin user, If I am doing bulk recruitment (20 employees) all undertaking references checking the email workflows are high. Perhaps workflow for candidates who haven't responded and when the total of reference checks requested have been completed only?

My experience with Xref

Kommentare: I use Xref to find good quality candidates to hire. It helps me weed out the good from bad and exposes a lot of red flags for me.

Vorteile:

The feature i like most about Xref is that it will automatically send you potentially fraudulent references

Nachteile:

In the beginning steps, after sending the Xref out, I wish it would tell me if had been accessed by the candidate.

References come back so much faster!

Kommentare: Makes my job so much easier! Helps obtain references in such an efficient and non invasive manner.

Vorteile:

Xref has been very helpful in obtaining timely and accurate references, as well as flagging potential fraud situations, which have saved us time and hassle.

Nachteile:

There are a few limitations in adding needed information or customizing the reference form.

User friendly and uncomplicated

Vorteile:

Xref makes collecting references easy. It also makes it very easy to weed out bogus responses.

Nachteile:

I do not like the meter at the top that categorizes negative and positive reviews.

XREF is great!

Kommentare: I am very happy with it and will continue to use it!!

Vorteile:

I love that I can use it on both my computer and my phone! Everything transfers quickly so I can easily go back and forth which helps me continue conversations wherever I am!!!

Nachteile:

I wish it was easier to access my contact list on my phone.

A great time-saver for a usually time-consuming process

Kommentare: We have had a good experience with Xref and look forward to full integration with our Recruitment platform in the coming months to ensure a more streamlined internal process.

Vorteile:

It is easy to use this software and provides us with the information we need to make the best hiring decisions for our business.

Nachteile:

It has taken us some time to roll out a recruitment system across our multiple businesses so the Xref process has been separate from the current workflows, however, this isn't Xref related.

Nothing so far. Can add more categories in file attachment section like driving license.

My Experience using Xref

Kommentare: In a summarised way, It is a good software to use for references. I have even recommended to my HR friends.

Vorteile:

It is easy to use and to teach, its is very effective and user friendly. Xref also helps to authenticate the references because it give you the opportunity to know everything that happened around the reference, by tracking every action done on the link. It also saves on time because it gives referees automatic reminders to complete the reference.

Nachteile:

Non that I can mention for now because to be honest, I really like using the software.

Xref Review

Kommentare: As mentioned, process of references become seasier to track and quicker to process.

Vorteile:

The automation, this means I dont have to complie mutilple reference requests for candidates. A few clicks and its ent to teh candidate and they are able to fill it all out and the reference is then sent to their previous employers. Alos being able to see supicious activity, using the same IP address, very handy.

Nachteile:

Generally very good, occasionally some candidates struggle with the tech, so anything that simlplifies the process.

Fantastic Product a MUST HAVE for all Recruitment teams

Kommentare: I have LOVED it!! Its given me so much more time to use for sourcing and other vital parts of my role that were filled up with over the phone reference checks.

Vorteile:

Its so easy to use and it keeps you updated every step of the way on both sides of the process (Candidate/Employer).

Nachteile:

Nothing is wrong with this product its top quality and doesn't need any updates.

Vorteile:

the speed and ease of using the software. Fast turnaround time.

Nachteile:

The results of the background check is not available in PDF. I think it would be a good idea from the time the user opens the file to have it exportable into a PDF or word format. As well upon responding to the review. there was no drop down selection for our "Industry Type". I selected "Printing" which is our Old traditional business but we have evolved to Business Solutions.

Xref Review

Kommentare: Very easy to use and haven't had any issues since I started using it 3+ years ago. Great customer service as well.

Vorteile:

I would definitely say the ease of use and how intuitive the system is. The report generated is quite in-depth which is great as well.

Nachteile:

The only thing I would like to point out is that the 'negative', 'positive', and 'neutral' stats are usually not that accurate.

Quick and easy to use

I love using Xref for every reference This is a big selling point for our clients as well as a streamlined process for our candidates

Nachteile:

Referrals can be a bit difficult to navigate when they come through

Keeping it simple and professional

Kommentare: It ensures this critical part of the process is not skipped or handled in an unprofessional manner.

Vorteile:

A very efficient way of completing the reference checking part of recruitment. Analyses comments and responses to give them an overall rating.

Nachteile:

Relies solely on written medium. Sometimes you can pick up keys to an employees past performance when discussing and leads to other exploratory questions.

ease of execution 1 button press and then you wait.

Nachteile:

3 applicants have told me they find the system too aggressive, it keeps coming relentlessly with the requests for references I was actually a reference for someone and I as well found the requests to answer the reference a bit aggressive

Support is wonderful

Kommentare: Amazing, have been in constant contact with my reps, they are informative, friendly and helpful! This has saved me a lot of time, especially since we have been busy. The time turnaround for completed references has been amazing as well.

Vorteile:

Visibility is great, one screen which shows the status of every candidate and where what stage their reference is at.

Nachteile:

Ability for multiple users to see up to date information. E.g. If I open a reference on the other persons login it shows that the reference hasn't been opened.

Save time and get in-depth responses

Kommentare: Fantastic! It's easy to use and the staff are lovely. Always happy to help :)

Vorteile:

It saves me so much time. I also get a lot more information than I would over the phone. It's easier than trying to write down what someone is telling you. It can be done in the reference's own time which can be over the weekend or out of hours which means they can focus and put time into their responses. It's such a wonderful product I can't imagine not having it!

Nachteile:

Ability to self load credit Ability to alter email addresses or edit the references

Vorteile:

Easy to use and easy to navigate, been using this for years. Love XREF.

Nachteile:

Customer service or technical support some room for improvement.

Vorteile:

It's super easy to use! I do like the reminders the come to my email if a user has not completed.

Nachteile:

I wish the XRef timed out because of credits.
