At times that we had issues, the RIBCCS support team have been really helpful and friendly. I remember interacting with [SENSITIVE CONTENT], the friendliest and patient support staff.
Its difficult to learn and requires a specialist to train before deployment.

Buildsmart - Review
Kommentare: Great experience, if they fix some bugs like and add some more features (one click voucher should open from report) to save the time.
Vorteile:
Very good budget control management, Project accounting is so easily monitored, ease in monthly closing, depreciation posting & WIPcalculations, Nice tool for cost allocation if you have manyr departments, activity wise project procurement control etc. uploading a huge journal data through excel sheet template
Nachteile:
Payroll module is a long hectic and not user friendly, unable to go directly to the voucher from a particular report, you have to type voucher num manually as the buildsmart does not have a feature to take you in one click, If an asset is added into fixed assets then again need to update/edit in master list.

Your valued feedback is very important to us, please see feedback regarding your comments: We would recommend a training session on the payroll in order to increase your ease of use. The process is very simple from the capture of hours against contracts, cost codes & activities, capture any advised payments or deductions, capture leave & sick days, calculate, check, print payslips & create the WPS file with the final process of posting to the GL being an integrated system. Updating the asset master is a control process as the asset master requires so much more detail with all the depreciation options available in the system as well as other asset information. The Voucher numbering was developed purely for India & the Gulf, it complies to the requirement of sequential numbering for filing systems and document retrieval. This was never designed to be a focus of the system & not designed to drill down to a voucher number.

Not designed by accountants
Kommentare: Extremely painful. Would not use if I had a choice.
Vorteile:
Multiple contracts - relatively easy to set up and capture when its working.
Nachteile:
Stock module pedantic. Financial reports not standardized across financial periods.

Superb Software from RIB!!

The way the software can drill down to contract and activity levels is astounding. The live system enables up to the minute reporting.
Nachteile:
The cashbook capturing is not as user friendly as a traditional accounting package, but still good for a cost accounting system. The park and post functions are well liked.

Buildsmart is as easy as ABC
Kommentare: I have been using this program for 5 years , i know my way around . i have people from all departments asking all types of questions and i find my answer easy on Buildsmart. I also like the fact that you can separate cost from overhead, plant, projects. I even split different projects example. Survey/Diving/Construction/salvage

Fast, user friendly, helpful reports, We meet our month end deadlines efficiently.

That it has many functions in one app and it is not difficult to process payments once you get a hang of it.
Nachteile:
That it's so difficult to use and the only way for a person to know how to use it is to do a paid for course. Also the information would be better in video format on youtube, rather than reading those long pdfs

Journey to mastering buildsmart

The convenience in getting the kind of report as a quantity surveyor at the quickest time and at ease.
Nachteile:
Some reports are not as easy to get, If there was an option to have video clips that explains some if the frequently asked questions without having to set up a meeting

RIB BuildSmart Review
Kommentare: Okay, but not as user friendly or as good as other accounting and payroll software.
Vorteile:
Some things are easy to use like debtors invoicing, bank reconciliations and journals.
Nachteile:
Changing of dates and periods. Not being able to drill down. Not being able to write reports. Not being able to edit transactions after posting. All the procedures for month end, year end, debtor, ledger, subcon, etc. Too many complicated procedures compared to other accounting systems. Payroll not half as good as other payroll software and requires much more programming.

Construction
Kommentare: a year ago it was better. now with the new updates there is alot of glitches that make it harder.

Storage of Data and information. you can access it from any device.
Nachteile:
it keeps loging me out ! i cant stay on buildsmart the whole 50 minutes, every 5 minutes it kicks me out.

Use of RIB BuildSmart
Kommentare: BuiltSmart is the perfect example of the modern use of technology. Having to track all payments, cost reports, procurement items, etc, makes life so easy when having to pull a report that will provide all the necessary information
Vorteile:
I enjoy the ease and access of the software without any hassles. I get to do my job quickly and efficiently with data being consistently saved. In the case of looking my device I am able to recover all the data.
Nachteile:
Not being able to undo certain actions that require an administrator.

Build Smart Daily experience

RIB BuildSmart Software Review.
Kommentare: RIB BuildSmart is user friendly and yet comprehensive software that one can use to manage finances of the projects and business overall. it is financial software that a recommend for construction businesses as it tailored for such type of businesses. The ability to report live information on the ground is absolute essential.
Vorteile:
One of the aspects I appreciate most about Build Smart is its ability to offer real-time financial updates for the project and the entire business. Its integration with CCS guarantees that data is more precise and reduces the frequency of irregularities that could compromise the accuracy of the data and the reliability of the reports.
Nachteile:
I have nothing much about the downside and believe with training you get better and faster in completing tasks. I must say at times the programme gets slow and it kicks you out and you need to login again and again.

It's fine, I guess
Kommentare: Been using it for about 8 years and will probably continue to do so since it fills a niche in the market with few competitors, however there are lots of room for improvement.
Vorteile:
Detailed records and reports available, synergizes nicely with other software.
Nachteile:
Unpredictable crashes, customer support that are not able to fix issues.

Nice experience not much issues with it

Vorteile:
User Friendly To attached quotes and to escalate for approval with different stage of approval whereby every person is aware of what being procured. Easy to insert prices and suppliers Easy to extract requisition on an excel sheet.
Nachteile:
The reporting system is not efficient. e.g if I need to extract a report for items procured on a specific work , BS do not have that facility , i wil have to extract a the project items procured and then select the items for the specific job. If this one can be added, BS will be great.

Buildsmart Procurement
Kommentare: Buildsmart has not interacted with end users
Vorteile:
the interaction with CCS and very little else
Nachteile:
Buildsmart is not user friendly and is not a complete procurement system for construction. It has no hire purchase order for plant and formwork
