Braze is totally cool

Kommentare: Since using Braze, we've been able to automate our customer communications across a wide variety of previously unavailable channels. We were unable to provide our users with the kind of experience they deserve before introducing Braze's real-time data trigger and personalization of messaging.

Vorteile:

When compared to similar products and businesses, Braze stands head and shoulders above the rest. Braze has a more robust collection of features and capabilities, and it is always being refined and updated. In addition to providing you with a powerful business tool, the organization provides you with a lot of information on how to utilize it effectively. We were able to get up to speed fast thanks to the assistance of their onboarding staff, and their customer service is excellent.

Nachteile:

It would be great if you could create campaigns in a test environment and have them sent straight to production. Similarly, I'd prefer an option in which clicking "done" saved an email as a draft without requiring a second click thereafter. Since there is an extra step involved, our designers often fail to save their work.

Kommentare: My overall experience with Braze has been great. In less than a year that we have been using the platform, we have witnessed our feedback be implemented and have seen constant improvements to the platform. This speaks to how well Braze listens to user feedback, and in turn results in a great user experience. The platform is easy to use, provides us with all the tools we need, and has improved our quality of work immensely.

Vorteile:

Braze's ease of use is by far the best feature of the platform. Having a team of multiple users, some of which have never used an email marketing platform before, it was vital to introduce a platform that was easy to pick up. Braze provides us with a very intuitive, user-friendly platform that we quickly found ourselves to be comfortable with.

Nachteile:

What I like least about Braze is the lack of an auto-save feature. Our team builds out over 20 emails a week, and errors are expected. This can be minimized with an auto-save feature that allows our work to be saved in case of any unexpected browser failures, for example. It would save users plenty of time in case of any loss of work.

The shortcomings of Braze

Vorteile:

The discount we received when signing Braze.

Nachteile:

The quality of customer support is low. It takes endless time out of my week to resolve the issues we're facing. Many standard functionalities are missing. The fact that you have a limited amount of data points is frustrating. The AI copywriter is cringy and not on point.

Vorteile:

The tool is definitely for professionals who focus on Crm for growth. If you have a team focusing on continious optimisation, after learning if CRM works for you (which usually does) Braze is a great to.

Nachteile:

The tools requires learning features like connected content, good to know: liquid & html, for full potential basic tech knowledge of API, webhooks etc is helpful

Blaze with Braze

Vorteile:

Campaign and template is the most important feature. It allow anyone with basic skill to create and maintain campaign. The data integration is another feature which allow seamless migration of data to Braze

Nachteile:

The current email template management requires more improvement when it comes to switching between html and drag and drop mode. Since we work on this on a daily basis, this is the least like but at the same time most beneficial one as described previously.

Powerful, data enabled multi channel platform

Kommentare: We are using CRM to retain customers on our wireless service using email and SMS messaging. WE personalize communications based on profile attributes, lifecycle stage, and behaviors to maximize LTV. We're just getting started on the platform but it has just about all the important features I was expecting and then some.

Vorteile:

Built in AB testing features; easy drag and drop template building with interchangeable content blocks; versatile segment builders; native integrations with data clouds; Journey builder does everything I need; reporting checks the box. Native SDK makes tracking user interactions across touch points (web, app) very easy to implement and maintain. Dynamic content syntax is quite intuitive and user-friendly for non-coders.

Nachteile:

The cost is something we will need to keep an eye on; I can definitely see how tracking a lot of engagement events in a growing customer base is going to spike costs and possibly exceed our contract. Onboarding happens with a third party vendor, who is not as proactive, knowledgable or committed to our success as they could be. (Had a better experience with onboarding at Iterable both times.) This is Also, when we got started, the ability to clone templates and content blocks between projects was not available but they just launched that new feature. I also wish it was easier to preview the list of users in a segment - you have to download the list of people in the audience for a reliable preview, the preview tool that's built in doesn't always show everyone and sometimes it doesn't show anyone at all due to the way it seems to sample from the list.

Very powerful but confusing

Vorteile:

I have been using braze for about a year now, and have become quite a skilled user. We use this CRM tool for all of our digital B2C marketing and it's become a daily tool. - Our Account manager is the best part of this software. We sometimes struggle with setting up campaigns directly and our account manager is always a quick email away. - The canvas tool is also a great tool. It's made automation of our onboarding, and long term marketing campaign seamless. - The ability to create A/B tests. Still haven't used this to the best of it's ability but very important in understanding what's working and what isn't working - Currents implementation. The access to campaign data with our Amplitude account has given us a lot for freedom in manipulating data to understand what our user paths are.

Nachteile:

- The analytics of braze in the canvas section is very confusing. It doesn't break down the information at each canvas step and makes understanding whether our lifecycles are effective or not very confusing. - Editing templates can be glitchy. Spacing and font sizes become distorted if you dont work directly within the template guidelines. - Connected content is difficult to edit if you don't have engineering support

Kommentare: As someone who hasn't worked with a customer engagement platform prior to Braze - it's amazing.

Vorteile:

Bottom line - allows agility, can do A LOT simply and quickly. Segmented, personalized, multi channel marketing campaigns that would otherwise take weeks with server resources and different channel platforms, can take minutes/hours to make in Braze, done independently by a marketeer/product manager, with relatively useful analytics.

Nachteile:

Missing functionalities that would - 1) fasten the use - copying materials between different campaigns or between different apps2) improve the segmentation abilities - mainly time based filters are missing3) strengthen showcasing to external stakeholders - campaign timelines, extract of all campaign assets/flow/conditions, in visually comprehendible structures

Nimble and effective for a variety of marketing needs

Kommentare: Braze is a fantastic tool for creating agile marketing campaigns in your apps without necessarily needing dev help. The value you get out of it will rely on getting everything set up properly, but the customer service team is very helpful and always willing to answer questions.

Vorteile:

The simple and effective A/B testing Capabilities for marketing campaigns is very easy to use, and offers quick and actionable results with minimal training.

Nachteile:

Setup and dev work up front is key to have things up and running smoothly for a marketing team. A purely “marketing” team would have a very hard time utilizing this without some support from their developers up front to get the “plumbing” connected properly. Also, data tracking on some more complex campaigns can end up out of sync - ALWAYS verify conversion data with your own internal data and do not rely on Braze for more than a “gut check” on a campaign’s success.

Kommentare: We use Braze for Email Marketing, Automation, Push Notifications, In-App Messages and Content Cards are in development. Its a super simple product to use and has a lot of functionality to improve segmentation and personalisation with ease.

Vorteile:

The user friendly UI. Default segmentation, built-in functionality for personalisation with easy to use liquid code.

Nachteile:

The proiduct times out quite often when calculating audience size. Sometimes search is a bit glitchy when segmenting target audience.

Braze for effective email marketing.

Vorteile:

Braze has really helped us to improve and scale high marketing through email marketing and i like how it is easy to monitor marketing data and sales. With it, we are able to send automated email campaigns to our customers and we can easily track and monitor our email marketing activities.

Nachteile:

We have had a very nice and smooth experience with Braze. Nothing to dislike about it.
