Quick and Easy checks

Kommentare: The ability to safeguard my company and customers with verified background checks.

Vorteile:

Able to email link to potential employee to complete supplying of information and ability to check the results anywhere.

Nachteile:

I would like to see a couple of different "bundles" for specific needs instead of buying a more than I need or not enough checks.

Biggest bang for the buck!

Vorteile:

It is a very cost-effective apparatus for obtaining reliable background information. It simplifies the onboarding process.

Nachteile:

There is nothing to report in regard to dislikes.

There is better background check software out there

Vorteile:

Not much to be honest - the interface is easy enough to navigate without having to sit through a tutorial but the pros column ends with that.

Nachteile:

It took way too long to integrate with our other system and even then, we realized that it wouldn't work for whatever reason [I don't even think our rep knew what the reason was]. The reports end up being like 50+ pages long and frankly, no one needs to cut down a tree to print a background report. Waiting on the candidate to fill stuff out is frustrating so I would rather go the old school route and make them sign something up front so I can initiate the check and get it going. This isn't my favorite background check software to use but I guess if that's all you have, you make it work.

Pricing was a little different but reasonable

Easy & Quick results

Vorteile:

Integration was super easy. Once we were given the types of screenings and services offered, we picked our default screening and customized other options depending on the needs of the client and the type of position. The system is very easy to use!! From beginning to end, very user friendly! The notifications are great also, when a candidate didn't fill in their info, info was provided and their running the screening, etc.

Nachteile:

Honestly, there is nothing that we don't like. I've used other background screening companies at previous companies and none have been as user-friendly and quick turnaround time on screenings as Goodhire!

Optimal Solution for Remote Team Members

Kommentare: My overall experience has been fantastic! Everything has been streamlined and become so much more efficient, just the sheer hours saved over the course of the year is far worth the investment!

Vorteile:

This software provides me the ability to request confidential information from team members all across the U.S. It sends me updates as needed, not in excess. The reports back are extremely timely which keeps our hiring process moving efficiently along. In addition, GoodHire. connects seamlessly with our HRM platform, BambooHR. All records are kept where they belong, with each employees' file, it is kept private from everyone except for myself and senior leadership. I strongly recommend this platform to anyone with remote team members.

Nachteile:

The only slight deterrent would be in regards to the pricing. I understand and acknowledge that having the ability to run additional items for different positions is standard, but with "so many" options, this can begin to make the background report pretty pricy. *Please note--thus far I do not need access to these features, this is merely my personal view should I ever come to a time and place whereby I need these "extras."

Background Checks Made Easy!

Kommentare: Overall our experience with GoodHire has been perfectly good.

Vorteile:

What I like most about good hire is that you can have the applicant fill in their information! It's so convenient. GoodHire doesn't take forever to get you the results like companies we've had in the past.

Nachteile:

I can't think of any cons with GoodHire, they are a great company that has made it easy for employers to get fast background checks at a reasonable price.

It did not integrate with Paylocity, so it created more work

Kommentare: I researched a handful of different companies to do background checks and was highly recommend GoodHire. I now recommend GoodHire to others as an easy-to-use platform that is affordable and quality.

Vorteile:

Easy interface; affordable for a small, start-up nonprofit like ours; great customer service; VERY fast turnaround

Nachteile:

Would appreciate having a way to do background checks for people without social security numbers in order to increase the inclusivity and equity of our team and community to include those who are undocumented. I'd also like a way to cancel the background checks if someone has not filled out their information.

Vorteile:

I like that the software is simple enough I can have potential employees complete their personal information and give their authorization online. The product is easy to set up, run reports, and add additional reporting features as needed. The background and MVR reports are straightforward and easy to understand. Communication and updates throughout each step of the process is excellent.

Nachteile:

Automatic yearly MVR checks on all current employees would be a great feature.

GoodHire

Vorteile:

Extremely easy to use. You can even add whatever non basic features you want to each background check. All the reports store easily on your dashboard and you can export them in their entirety with just a click. Turn around time is also excellent-usually within 1 business day.

Nachteile:

Only con is not being able to run large batch checks at one time.

No issues in 2 years

Vorteile:

It is VERY simple to implement background checks and screenings. I've only needed to contact support 1x in over two years, and it was due to an error on my end - they were quick to remedy and help me correct.

Nachteile:

I do not have anything negative that I can share about this product. It's worked as designed with simplicity, every time I've used it.

Excellent Service

It is very easy to navigate and access support when necessary.

Nachteile:

Maybe I overlooked it, but you may want to make it more clear or obvious that additional fees for county, employer & education verifications etc may apply.

You all are so easy to work with. The employees are pleasant and helpful. We have gotten all our issues resolved that we had and you all really listen to us.

Nachteile:

I recommended your product to another school and unfortunately you could do not match the price that you give us and the school went with another company. I was a little surprised since you were so good to work with when we were setting up with you.

An easy to use employment screening tool

Kommentare: GoodHire is an extremely easy to use employment screening tool that works well for my business.

Vorteile:

I appreciate that the system has such a clean and intuitive user interface. The results come back very quickly and the candidate is kept notified through every step in the process. GoodHire also helps guide you away from making potential HR missteps.

Nachteile:

The basic check does not offer much information, but there are lots of additional checks that can be added to customize the screening. The downside is all of those additional checks add up in cost very quickly.

Using Goodhire

Vorteile:

Goodhire is fairly user friendly. We like how accessible the chat room is for when we do have a specific question.

Nachteile:

When it comes to candidates who we need to re-run a check on (if their background check is expired) we do not like how difficult it is for those candidates to submit their consent form. Also, within the past few years, the pricing model was changed and we were never notified until we went to buy more credits.

Customer Service

It's super easy to use the platform, the customer service is OUTSTANDING! Always friendly and super helpful.

Nachteile:

The delay time waiting for other counties who are still using paper files.

The amount of processing times can be horrible. Due to COVID im not sure that is their fault or not.

GoodHire is wonderful

It is very easy to use and if there are ever any mistakes on our end a quick email to their team has it fixed in no time.

Nachteile:

I haven't really found anything that needs improvement yet.

Good Go-To for Background checks

Easy to use and send to new hire. It also keeps you in the loop of timeline for when it will be completed.

Nachteile:

I don't think technically we can hold GoodHire accountable for any fraud information like you can with E-Verify or other programs.
