Filing done easily

Kommentare: We have used this program for 7 or more years. One year in those 7 we tried to use another program that was recommended by our POS reps, that was a mistake. They messed up so many things and couldn't seem to figure out how to efile. I finally just got Accountability again and had it done in 2 days (compared to the almost 3 weeks we were fighting it on the other system).

Vorteile:

-Variety of filings available in one program -Accessibility of electronic filing -Guidance on proper filing techniques

Nachteile:

There is a lot of information on how to fill out the forms, but it can be really confusing and you need to understand programming a little. Once you have done it though it is pretty easy. Just the first time importing the file was a struggle for me.

Great support!

Vorteile:

The support staff is very helpful whenever I have questions and went the extra mile to help me get started with e-filing 1099s for the first time last year, including supporting me with getting a TCC. The written instructions are clear and walking through the process with support made learning the process so easy!

Nachteile:

The pricing for the number of returns I need to file (<100) is steep.

End result is acceptable

Kommentare: I appreciate it producing an acceptable end result and producing a fire.gov type file for easy upload. It does not produce an acceptable Oregon e-file file type. That is worth quite a bit. I do not like that I need to download an entire new program every year and set up a new client - this should be one program that maintains all filing years that I have purchased. The ease of use of this product leaves a lot to be desired.

Vorteile:

The end result helps us meet the filing requirements

Nachteile:

1. You have to make an entire new client to produce a corrected 1099 statement 2. Every year is a new program - I would like it to be a single program that hosts all of the years. 3. Update it to look more modern - this survey looks better than Account Ability. 4. Create/offer as an upgrade acceptable state e-file type files

Effective and Efficient

Kommentare: I am very pleased with AA. I will definitely continue to use the software. Also, the staff is very helpful. they are very knowledgeable about the software. I have never had any problems. very friendly.

Vorteile:

I like that Accountability is effective and efficient in workflow. I have been using the software for years now and at first, I didn't understand how to use it because I was using a different software that didn't offer as nearly all of the functions as AA but now, I am happy that the corporation has switched.

Nachteile:

Pricy but I figured with all specs/functions of AA we would not have. It's good to have all functions in one place.

Account Ability review

Kommentare: We have used the software for our 1099s for many years for your clients and it works well.

Vorteile:

It is helpful we can roll the prior year 1099 client information from one year to the next. Using the IRS Fire System links is nice to have in the software. I have been the IRS Fire System after the January 31 deadline for correcting and adding 1099s.

Nachteile:

It would be a benefit if we could print out the Register listing in one location instead of clicking on each client Management file, We send the listing to the client with our 1099 letter in November.

Nachteile:

I disliked the end of year transferring. Thats why I pay them to transfer files to the IRS for me. They are super great about it.

Outstanding Customer Service

Kommentare: Outstanding. We have no complaints, only compliments.

Vorteile:

Account Ability has outstanding, knowledgeable customer service. You can work with live people! And they sincerely care about their customers. Account Ability is easy to use and saves work time, which is very important in a small organization with a small staff.

Nachteile:

I don't have anything I don't like least. It's a great product backed by great people.

20+ Year User

Kommentare: 10 plus stars. Great staff, always pleasant. They have called me to remind me to purchase the software to gain the discount and the technical service is always on point. One year they even helped me format the csv file. Our Accounting software can handle the forms but it is cumbersome and unpredictable, I will be a life long user.

Vorteile:

I have used Accountability for my Tax Compliance since 2003. I was fortunate to find it when I was a new Controller and needed a solution that I could easily implement and complete my tax forms on time. Having the print and mail service simplifies the process, I've tried mailing 3000+ forms and it took days for our administrative staff to fold, print, stamp the forms and every time there were errors made. I rely on the expertise of IDMS and it has not failed me once. I highly recommend the software and the Customer service in the past was excellent, Saturday return phone calls were critical when we were in busy season.

Nachteile:

For our 2023 tax forms I was not informed of the mailing date of the forms.

Seamless Tool

Vorteile:

I like the fact that the software is easy to use and understand. Unfortunately, after many years I am still struggling but not their fault.

Nachteile:

There is nothing to dislike about the software

Account Ability Review

Kommentare: My overall experience with Account Ability has been great! I can call or email and receive an answer about anything I have a question about.

Vorteile:

I like the amount of time that Account Ability gives me to take advantage of the discount available when purchasing Account Ability before a certain time.

Nachteile:

I really don't have any "cons" about Account Ability.

1099 Solution

Kommentare: Have used it for several years and have been satisfied with product, gets the job done efficiently.

Vorteile:

Cost is reasonable, easy to use, maintenance of records and flow through of filer and recipient information year to year. Built in filing connections. Customer service is great and prompt.

Nachteile:

Would like to be able to email forms directly from software

1099 experiences

Vorteile:

Ability to talk to someone to get some help

Nachteile:

We couldn't get it done without some strong help from the team. There are steps in the process, which a regular user is not capable of overcoming without the help of someone on the Help Desk.

Vorteile:

Fast, easy, and setup was a breeze with [sensitive content hidden]. Took the complications out and helped us through the electronic filing system for our W2s and 1099s. Customer service is top notch!

Nachteile:

I wish it was free! Very easy to use and customizing was easy for our needs.

Vorteile:

Forms are easy to use and manipulate. Having the ability to carry forward information from previous years, helps tremendously.

Nachteile:

Uploading to Government sites was tricky at first, but came around.

Very easy to work with and we have good customer support.

upload is not user friendly. and need to get the help with customer service every year.

Good product

Ease of use, many different options for form filing.

Sometimes it is not the most user friendly and I do not like that it allows for special characters to populate

Easy to use program!

Kommentare: I found Account Ability to be a great program. It was easy to learn and the help tab is extremely helpful in a pinch.

Vorteile:

Account Ability is easy to use and navigate.

Nachteile:

When printing forms, it wouldn't save my printer. I would have to verify it each time.

Excellent Company Excellent Employees

Kommentare: Enjoyed the entire process as their employees were so personable and so knowledgeable! They made a stressful task EASY!

Vorteile:

The ease in getting items sent to the federal government. They just took the reins and had everything done in no time at all. I was very stressed at end of year anyway and they made everything so much easier!!!

Nachteile:

There was nothing I didn't like about working with this company.

Gets the job done, but not user friendly

Kommentare: The customer service was helpful and patient as we work through our issues and incomprehension of all the steps necessary to get the forms uploaded and sent out. WIthout them, I am quite certain we would never have gotten through the process, certainly not correctly.

Vorteile:

This software achieves what it is supposed to do. Creates our 1098 and 1099 after importing from our Accounting system.

Nachteile:

The software is not user friendly, nor easy to "figure out". There are a lot of screens and modules and no real help on where or how to complete. Even the mapping, which one you know what you are doing should be easy, is not really easy. It is easy to mess the mapping up and have to start over. It is just clunky and out dated as far as software goes for ease of use.
