Kommentare: We are now using less paperwork and able to track everyday work a lot easier with Rhumbix.

Vorteile:

Save draft feature is used almost religiously as I get interrupted quite frequently. We love the tracking features that it offers.

Nachteile:

It took us a while to figure out the payroll and timekeeping. Once we navigated it for a few days we figured it out.

Rhumbix Review

Kommentare: Overall my experience with Rhumbix has been good way better than our previous time keeping software About Time. I really like the ease of entering projects, the ability to customize, sync between the accounting software, and the fact it is accessible anywhere at anytime. Realistically with any software there will be things that are not so great but for me the only con that sticks out is the lack of auto save.

Vorteile:

There are a lot of pros to using Rhubmix for your time tracking software. The key features I really like about Rhumbix are it is cloud based so you can access the software via an app or on a desktop computer, it is user friendly, customizable for your specific company, and it has the ability to automatically sync to and from your accounting software. If you do not have a sync feature it is still very easy to setup/manage projects in Rhumbix.

Nachteile:

There are a few cons to Rhumbix I have noticed since it has been implemented with our company such as the user roles are kind of an all or nothing, when an update is rolled out it seems to cause issues with parts of the software that previously didn't have issue, and after the new issue is identified it takes some time to get fixed, exporting data from Rhubmix is easy but looks terrible and is kind of hard to follow. Lastly, it does have an auto save feature which can get really frustrating.

Rhumbix - PM user

Kommentare: Our payroll administration team really likes it because the output they receive is very simple to use and read.

Vorteile:

It took us away from using Excel spreadsheets for timekeeping. It allows us to have a lot of different cost codes to be able to use.

Nachteile:

It is not very user friendly. Our field foreman have to spend a lot of time to make it work. This could be because we have so many jobs and cost codes that it just becomes more tricky.

Great tool for field to track time

Kommentare: This helps generate time sheets quick. The lack of auto update to the current day has caused some discrepancies that were caught before finalizing time. But these are a quick edit using either the web or the mobile app. Overall a good app with a simple purpose.

Vorteile:

It is fairly intuitive and easy for most foreman to start using with minimal instruction. Allows office to review whole job sites time very quickly.

Nachteile:

Some functions of the web app do not flow, you can't move from one function straight into the next. When entering time, you have to click done after scrolling for straight time then add overtime in. When creating timesheets using the web app, it takes too many clicks generate a time sheet before entering time. Craft workers and cost codes can not be selected more than one at a time. Also, I cannot add notes of any type to a time sheet, so I can't add quantities to a foreman's time sheet if they forget too

Rhumbix Review - Labor Management

Kommentare: Once you run through it a few times, it's quite easy to use from a functional standpoint. In my case, where I deal with all the project sites, it can get confusing when dealing with multiple cost codes as some are labeled the same but with different project numbers. I would like to be able to enter times through the internet portal/interface the same way I do through the app. Having a report or view to see employees times by project would be beneficial when managing labor for multiple projects.

Vorteile:

The software is transparent for the user.

Nachteile:

When updating or restarting, you lose all of your Project and Cost Codes. No Android interface. Internet portal/interface can only see time entered and edit said times; you can't enter new times, projects, or cost codes. If entering multiple times on multiple projects you have to remember which cost code is which since the project title isn't listed. Can't see weekly time form a project view.

Rhumbix Review

Kommentare: As a whole, Rhumbix by far is the most comprehensive time keeping software we have used. Our field took to this with little resistance as it allows for more efficient time input on a daily basis per crew. We have tried a few other time keeping apps, but they would not let us customize it the way we needed. The Rhumbix team has worked with us to create exactly what we need including integration with our accounting software, Sage. The ease of integration is also a plus.

Vorteile:

Ease of use for our field personnel via iPads. We have a lot of different codes that our field team uses to properly track each type of task and this makes it very easy for them to do that.

Nachteile:

Our office staff has a slightly less easy time inputting their time. The wed based application is not as user friendly as on the iPad and most of our office staff do not have iPads.

Great Support Team-Software

Kommentare: Our field and admin staff have embraced this software and tell us that was much easier to learn. Very positive experience with Rhumbix Development Team and staff.

Vorteile:

Our organization tracks every cost code or task, their development team and support has been great.

Nachteile:

Some rolls that are set up, we would like to see more customization, specifically, for PM role as they are not allowed to make changes, and current one allows them to change time.

Rhumbix for office use

Vorteile:

Has cut down our payroll processing time.

Nachteile:

I don't have 100% faith in what is being reported. There is not a good approval system, and duplicating time sheets some times puts time into weird future dates unexpectedly and without the user knowing about it.

Easy to Teach

Kommentare: It's fast, dependable, and easy to use!

Vorteile:

- As a trainer and workforce developer I found this program to be teachable. - The accessibility of the application makes it incredibly versatile to support the needs of our field personnel. - Liked the "try before you buy," value proposition.

Nachteile:

- There are few components that were not customization (attendance/absenteeism, notes structure, etc.). - There wasn't an initial "training environment," we had to create a fake crew to demo with which took some work. Still trying to get this off the ground.

Rhumbix from a Field Engineer

Kommentare: As a Field Engineer, I was responsible for contributing most of the onboarding process by including the workers, foreman, superintendents/pm's, and payroll admins into training as well as helping the reps in addressing questions. I have very much enjoyed working with the reps and the software will be of great use for the Delta team.

Vorteile:

The best part about the Rhumbix software is the ability to export an excel sheet which is customized by the Rhumbix team to fit the needs of the client. The interface is easy to navigate, detailed, and well structured.

Nachteile:

The details inside the week view of a time card make it difficult to read which shifts work was performed requiring more manually maneuvering to find the pertinent information.

Rhumbix Review

Vorteile:

It's quick and convenient when it's working properly. With a few tweaks, it could be great.

Nachteile:

I don't like the fact that some days it just doesn't work. It crashes a lot. When that happens, I have to delete and re-install the app again to get it to work. In our fast-paced industry, this can be a real pain. It would also be nice if when we were in the 'Select worker' tab, all the workers who have already been selected would be bumped to the top of the list. That way we could see who's on our list at first glance. Otherwise, we have to search for each worker individually to uncheck their name if they change job sites or move to another foreman.

Almost perfect!!

Vorteile:

The ability to keep track of my hours and progress easily. I also like how easy it is to submit my time cards!

Nachteile:

I dislike every time the app dose an update, I have to renter all my cost codes and and works. When you have a large crew and are using a lot of different cost codes, this can be a huge inconvenience!

Rhumbix review

Kommentare: Very satisfied
Once I learned how to use it, turning time in was not complicated.
It has helped me to keep better track of time.

Vorteile:

The ease of being able to turn in time. How job can be broke down, enabling job to be tracked better.

Nachteile:

When new app was introduced it had quite a few glitches. Much better now.

General User review

Kommentare: It's nice to have a database of job numbers and cost codes readily available and not having to memorize or keep looking up cost codes.

Vorteile:

It's very upfront and user-friendly. Easy to input time.

Nachteile:

it was clunky and slow being web-based previously but seems to have improved in the last 4 months or so.

Time cards simplified

Vorteile:

Rhumbix has made sending in timesheets and work performed on a daily basis a breeze. The old process was time consuming and a waste of paper. Our billing processing team can now compare the amount of hours billed on one program with the hours inputted into Rhumbix. Great job Rhumbix I hope the owner decides to keep using this service. We love it.

Nachteile:

Set was a bit confusing but like everything else in life, once you learn it it’s easy.

Rhumbix YaY or NaH?

Vorteile:

Pros: real time, easy to navigate, easy to setup and maintain, auto saves entries, user friendly, great search feature that allows you to search for projects multiple ways, cloud/on-line based, and great access ability (desktop, ipad, app).

Nachteile:

Cons: reporting is very basic (not ideal for job costing), limited user roles (all or nothing), no export to PDF feature, and you can only view entries 1 week at a time.

Rhumbix Review

Kommentare: I have mixed feelings about Rhumbix. I think that the idea is great, but I think there is still a lot of work to be done. Rolling this out to our users and using the software as been a lot harder than we anticipated. Overall, I think Rhumbix is moving in the right direction.

Vorteile:

I like that the software is accessible on phone, tablet, or desktop. I also like that I can see what the Field is inputting while I am in the office.

Nachteile:

The software is extremely glitchy and there are a lot of kinks that need to be worked out.

The ability to free the field from paper copies of timesheets. Providing immediate feedback on Productivity

Nachteile:

There are still glitches with the software, especially when new update are released

Rhumbix Yay or Nay

Kommentare: I really like all it's functions however again we are limited to them. Why have them if we are not able to use to it's full potential.

Vorteile:

I like the fact that you can see those who put time on your jobs to make sure it's accurate, however this functionality is limited and some of us do not have access.

Nachteile:

Only some employees have access to certain functionalities. 1) seeing who puts time on your job to make sure it's accurate 2) I don't like the fact that I can't enter my time on my cell phone or tablet 3) It's redundant having to put in your sick / vacay 2x's meaning once I select absent / for whatever reason I have to also select the cost code that also has either sick / absent along with checking the little square underneath your name.

Easy to use

Kommentare: I'm 61 years old, so I was very skeptical at first. Oh no something new again. Well it turns out not to be the case. Now i wish we had something like this 26 years ago.

Vorteile:

I can check my Foreman's Time Sheets daily. I can see if they are using the right cost codes and their productivity.

Nachteile:

We work Time and Material jobs and sometime we don't have our cost codes entered in a timely matter.

Some of the updates really have trouble with the IPads. At times can be very flusterating.

Rhumbix Review

Vorteile:

Time sheets are automatically sent in to office.

Nachteile:

It has bugs in it for instance I did my time sheets for the week Monday morning they were gone.

My Opinion

Kommentare: I definitely like it better than the system we've used in the past. My foreman have picked up on it quick and are able to do accurate timecards with little or no help.

Vorteile:

Ease of use,expand ability, accuracy, real time results

Nachteile:

when you go to see the week review it takes you back through every day to get to the week
