Culture Amp is an essential tool - I wouldn't be able to do my job as effectively without it.
Vorteile:
I think the UX/ UI is good, and easy enough to use, but also there's so much under the hood so that it's also a really robust tool. The product improvements have actually been improvements, and I'm excited whenever there's an update. The support team is also fantastic - I've never had a poor experience with the support team, and they are really great ambassadors for the company. The Academy is the secret sauce, in my opinion - in addition to support articles for operations and administering the tool, all of the research and literature around engagement and feedback, written by I/O Psychology experts has helped me simultaneously learn more about best practices, while also providing backup to the methodology when I'm presenting findings to senior stakeholders. Also - everything else Culture Amp does is great: Slack community, meetups, newsletter, etc. that I think they're building really great public culture and brand so... I want to like what they're doing software-wise. I'm well primed to like the tool.
Nachteile:
Sometimes I wish the admin functionality was a little bit more robust - i.e. our organization structure changes a little bit year-over-year, but in order to map departments to previous years, it's a manual thing that the support team has to do. Or with the new inspiration engine, if it's customizable to the organization, I think it'd be neat to have a big library of actions, and be able to see which questions/ factors they're tied to, so that when you're writing new ones or building that out, you don't have to do it on the individual survey level. But that's a new part of the product, so maybe it'll get there later.
Worth the money!

I love that Culture Amp just makes things so simple for the People team now. They have survey templates readily available so we don't even have to design the surveys anymore. It's very user friendly for employees to take the survey and the reporting is the best part. It really protects anonymity while allowing you to take targeted action.
Nachteile:
While the Performance features have many of the things you would expect in an OKR software, it's not as strong as their survey module yet. For example, there are opportunities to improve in the features for adding and tracking OKR progress. This is a newer feature for them though so I am hopeful to see where they will be at in a few years from now.

Culture Amp is great with people sciences, but the tool itself is terrible

Not good for large scale and high growth organizations. Their integration with Rippling is a joke and leads to terrible data and duplicative profiles. Very buggy -- when you run performance cycles the UX is different for self reflection vs performance. It means you have to manually update and edit everything. Also, they don't have on demand customer service -- just the chat bot, so if you need anything more complex.. like talent grids or ways to review calibration modules, you have to contact your CS team and in our experience their solutions are super limited. Mostly they tell you to just download the CSV and then manually create reporting or detailed info outside of the system. Not great.

UX is terrible -- it is not user friendly at all.

Best tool to measure employee engagement & performance management

First time using, amazing so far
Kommentare: Overall the tool has been amazing from a user's perspective. I'm excited to continue to use especially now that our organization is asking for our opinions on returning to work in the office.
Vorteile:
Culture amp is a leader in its space when it comes to employee engagement and I can see why! At this moment our organization is only using culture amp for employee engagement. So far I've noticed that (1) it's easy to get out to your employees (2) the tool is very easy to use (3) it's very appealing and looks really nice (4) Great customer support (5) easy to use for both HR managers and users.
Nachteile:
I've heard from the HR team that at times it can be difficult to manage the system from the admin side, however, from a user's perspective - the tool has been amazing.

The most appreciated aspect of Culture Amp is its user-friendly and straightforward interface.

The inability for anonymous comments to show which team the commenter is on, which could provide more context
Not built to scale with you
Kommentare: It is apparent that Culture Amp is not able to deliver the necessary workflows, tooling, and reporting to align with the requirements of a business of any large scale. Despite our efforts to raise concerns, and the limited resolutions to our challenges, it feels as though the only true solutions we have been offered is to "wait" for future changes or to compromise our performance initiatives to fit what is available. What we need today, is for Culture Amp to be the customer-centric partner we first signed up with. The partner who understands their market fit and who develops products that fulfill their customer's needs, without attempting to compel customers to use their products in unintended ways merely to secure additional contracts. Despite all attempts, Culture Amp has declined to be responsive to our needs and will not support a reasonable transition out of the software, regardless of their ability to support our performance tooling needs. I would caution against using Culture Amp if you have more than 100 employees or any anticipated growth. They are not the business they once were when it comes to knowing and supporting their customers and are more concerned about getting a deal signed than actually making sure their product is the right fit for your business.

At first Culture Amp was very customer-centric and committed to building a performance platform that would scale as you did. We have used Culture Amp for years and in the beginning, it was a fantastic product. If you are under 100 employees, have no growth anticipated, and do not need a robust performance management solution they could still be a good fit.
Nachteile:
As our headcount has grown Cuture Amp has become increasingly challenging to utilize. We continue to encounter blockers, and despite feedback and requests for support, there is little Culture Amp can or will do to assist. Our business has scaled from 100 to over 400 employees in the last three years - this is not a product that can support that level of growth. When it comes to our blockers, most notably the lack of adaptability across this product has been incredibly frustrating and a complete miss when it comes to what users are trying to achieve. For example, to support a 360 review you are required to build and manage two separate reviews (Peer + Upward & Self Reflection) and run them concurrently. Not only is this twice the setup and work to manage, but the reviews are disconnected with different UI, settings, and requirements. This duplicative work has led to administrative hurdles and a disjointed user experience. Furthermore, the necessity to reopen the entire review period to accommodate a single individual extension is ridiculous. As a result, this has led to many extra hours and a source of confusion across our organization as due dates are changed within the platform for everyone - instead of just one employee. How there is no customization when it comes to due dates for reviews at an individual level is unfathomable - and an administrative nightmare if you have more than a handful of employees. If you're looking for meaningful visualization or data analysis of performance results then this is likely not the product for you. For example, we wanted to adopt a 9-box or talent grid model. Despite being assured that this would not be an issue, after reviewing the provided documentation, it has become evident that Culture Amp is not equipped to support this functionality at all. Rather they suggested workarounds that would impose a substantial burden on our team. Their proposal was to not use their product and instead have us build the grid ourselves entirely outside of the platform manually. It's clear that Culture Amp is not built to support these more complex features - but that they also do not see an issue in upselling when the tooling is not truly supported.

Great One on One Meeting Tool.
Kommentare: I love using Culture Amp for one on one meeting preparedness and personal growth. It's been super beneficial to both.
Vorteile:
It's ease of use, it's functionality and how it saves all your past meeting respones/answers. You can look back and see how you felt in previous meetings, what you accomplished and what you might need to work on.
Nachteile:
I wasn't sure I had always saved everything, but it just automatically saves itself. Which is awesome.

I guess I am fine with the all process but it there are options to go through with the employees, understand their goals and commitments together and then submit on the culture amp.

Kommentare: We genuinely believe Culture Amp to be one of the best tools we've used for measuring employee engagement. We also use the tool for onboarding, offboarding, and internal surveys. We appreciate having full control over the survey process and user experience coupled with the ability to tailor surveys and reports. We're able to tailor questions, configure communications, and update demographics with ease. Copying surveys is also a handy feature, as is the ability to apply several different benchmarks to our results to provide comparisons. The speed with which we can create, deploy, close, and analyse surveys is great; we recently ran our organisational survey and from beginning to end (i.e. survey design, response period, and results analysis) in just 13 days. Having templates readily available also helps, as does the ability to build our own surveys from scratch. Our leaders have access and can run their own dashboard results at any time. Because of the way we've structured our demographics, we're able to provide aggregate results to Executive Managers, group results to Managers, and small team reports to Team Leaders. This helps ensure a swift and clean results cascade and lets us get on with action planning. We find the support team accessible and reliable and nothing is too much trouble.

Nachteile:
Filters aren't contextual; allow me to explain with an example. We use our three organisational levels as demographics so these are represented as three standalone filters. This means that if you pick a certain business unit as your first filter and want to use teams as your second filter, you'll see all available teams rather than related to the previously selected business unit. Our workaround was to introduce a prefix for business units, teams, and sub-teams which makes it easier to see related items (the fact we can do this ourselves is pro).
Daily dose of Culture Amp is a Game Changer
Kommentare: Great experience with Culture Amp and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to embed a learning and nurturing environment within their teams and workplaces.
Vorteile:
The ability to dive into five minutes (or less!) of e-learning on a daily basis has been a game changer and definitely shifted my thinking and approach to a number of management tasks. I've taken lots of notes and will be referring back to Culture Amps simple but effective tools in future projects and with new teams.
Nachteile:
Nothing - it's all good from the look and feel to the execution.
Truly Amazing
Kommentare: We've used Culture Amp for Employee Engagement, Remote Work / Returning to the Office, CEO's 360 leadership survey and CEO Performance Evaluation completed by the Board of Directors, to survey employees following the implementation of new policies to gauge understanding and any questions they may have, etc.
Vorteile:
I've used Culture Amp in my last two organizations. Wherever I go Culture Amp comes along with me (it's a condition of my employment - LOL). Ease of use, ease of implementation, cost effective, great templates for engagement and effectiveness that are built based upon behavioural science and feedback from users, can be used internally for employees and externally for board of directors, built in analytics and reporting, and awesome customer service which is just a chat away. Culture Amp is constantly improving the platform even making available things like 1 x 1 conversations and Skills Coach to all customers.
Nachteile:
None that come to mind. That's how much I love Culture Amp.

Fabulous platform that opens two-way of communication between employees and employer
Vorteile:
The best part of Culture Amp is the part of collecting data through surveys from employees that helps the business in fixing any issues that the company faces through the feedback. The integration with Slack helps a lot by notifying all the activities. The support system is very nice and there is a lot of training available that has helped us a lot to have hands on experience before using the platform
Nachteile:
I would say the flaw I see is the pricing structure of Culture Amp as for what it does, it is expensive. There should be new automation and integration with other third party platforms too.
World Class Evaluation Solution
Kommentare: Good experience on using the results of CultureAmp to take action on insights provided by the tool.
Vorteile:
It makes analysis of the responses evaluating emotions and qualitative and quantitative scores; the result of these evaluations and analytics allows a great analysis of different areas of the business.
Nachteile:
Just the fact that it is more expensive than other options but it provides much more features than other commercial options.

Employee Engagement, the Culture Amp way!
Kommentare: CA is a great tool with simple and easy to use functionality. The reporting is excellent both in terms of the content it provides and the manner in which the data is presented back to us. No analytical skills required to analyse the reports, anyone can read and understand them! The survey templates are well thought out and we've found very little editing is required; CA have managed to put together perfect surveys. There are still improvements required, for example, different types of users, the import functionality to add/remove employee data, mobile app, etc. but as a whole it's a great product. Some of the extra functionality I'm told is on the roadmap, but probably needs approximate timings so customers can be assured their frustrations are not being ignored. Customer service is pretty good too; I normally get a response to my mails within 24 hours.
Culture Amp team member review
Kommentare: I have enjoyed the process. We work in a very busy environment. The opportunity to take time to debrief, work toward solutions together on a dedication time each month - makes it happen. At times it is easy for time to pass bye, the relationship between Manager and team members can slip. Resentment can build that team members thoughts are not being considered.
Vorteile:
Culture Amp is easy to use. Culture Amp gives both Manager and team members equality to put forward their thoughts. It enables team members to speak openly, structures reviews, to mark progress or swiftly pick up where change needs to occur.
Nachteile:
I believe it would be of benefit to on occasion to change out the reviewer (Manager), if there was a bit of a personality or uncomfortable situation with the direct Manager, it enables the team member to speak more openly over a issue than may be causing concern.
My Culture Amp Experience
Vorteile:
Culture amp really helps me evaluating a multinacional team, with people located in 5 countries using the same platform. Easy to setup goals and tracking them, setup 1 on 1 and evaluate the performance of my team is much more simple than before
Nachteile:
A translation tool could be important to incorporate for people that are not confortable in the English language

DATA! Having used Survey Monkey in the past it was great the amount of quality data that was produced and the ability to cut it across differing demographics to id any particular focus areas. Ability to benchmark. Not just getting results buy highlighting key areas to focus on in terms of Action Plans We are now building a strong history to ensure we keep focus.
Nachteile:
I struggled from time to time with the tech but that is more about me!
Great for employee surveys and real time reports that you can share
Vorteile:
I've found it really easy to create custom surveys that I send out to the management team and temp staff we employee for events. I like the reporting feature that enables me to see how engagement in the team is tracking at a glance. It's also easy to share reports with the wider team for transparency. I find it pretty user friendly overall.
Nachteile:
I've had a good experience so far and don't really have anything to complain about. Only thing I'd like to see at the moment is to make it easier to set up reporting permissions with other members of the team.
Positive Experience

I like that I am able to track my goals and meet with manager during our one to ones to discuss my further development.

I do the daily skills coachings. I wish that I could at least do 2 of them a day.

Culture Amp is a great tool allowing staff to track development while also allowing management to check in and gauge progress. It allow for easy check-ins and aids in coaching sessions knowing how staff feel at any given time
Nachteile:
As a stand-alone offering, integration into existing company systems would be ideal such as delivery to HR systems
Balance of power, features, simplicity, and great outcomes
Kommentare: Excellent person who sold (and continues to stay in touch) with us ... low pressure, really friendly, interested in our needs and specific case. Excellent product ... has allowed us to conduct a Team-wide engagement survey with minimal effort considering how big an undertaking this can be. Not only that, the reporting points to top factors to focus on (the data can be really overwhelming without that) and also gave our Teams their own sub reports to talk through and identify top areas to work on together. We've only completed our first survey and begin work on top initiatives, but the experience so far has been excellent. Even though we're under 50 people, still feeling like we're getting a great value from our investment. We plan to subscribe to their new Effectiveness product next year, which also looks excellent.
