Boardadvantage review

Kommentare: Good for use by Boards

Vorteile:

Security for group meetings and ease to share documents

Nachteile:

Too easy to get account locked. Customer service is good but it took a while to unlock account.

Keeping the meeting organized

Kommentare: Overall, I've had a good experience. I've worked with several fantastic people in the past and present to maintain our account and solve problems.

Vorteile:

Both functionality and usability are excellent. It is simple to use even with all the bells and whistles. Our company meetings are sometimes held in here. Its easy to use and create and join any meeting.

Nachteile:

It is annoying because the meeting feature doesn't integrate with Outlook's calendaring. It impedes effective user-to-user communication over RSVPs for meetings. creates more work for everyone.

Unacceptable product

Kommentare: I rarely have a satisfactory experience.

Vorteile:

Not much. Just doesn't work well. Decent design.

Nachteile:

There has be worse portal software out there somewhere, but it's hard to imagine. Antiquated login procedures, attachments don't always stay attached, doesn't function at all with Android phones, hard to print from it. None of our Board members are happy with it. Almost surely it would be better if NASDAQ didn't own it, in fact maybe it was better before NASDAQ owned it.

Vorteile:

Nasdaq Boardvantage offers a secure and intuitive platform for board management, streamlining meeting preparation and document sharing.

Nachteile:

Nasdaq Boardvantage can be challenging to navigate initially due to its many features.

Board Portal

Kommentare: My overall experience with Nasdaq Boardvantage has been very positive.

Vorteile:

What I like most about NASDAQ Boardvantage is their customer support. Not only are always helpful and pleasant, but they are readily available.

Nachteile:

The software is super easy to use. I have guided people over the phone. What I don't like is my company's point person keeps changing. I am not sure if they are moving to other positions within the company, or they have high turnover.

Best Option: Boardvantage!

Kommentare: secure transmitting of info to Board Members is a huge improvement and document managing during a meeting is much improved with the software.

Vorteile:

Functionality and ease of use are both fantastic. With all the bells and whistles it is easy as a user.

Nachteile:

None. Like all of them it is a little tough to get documents exactly where you want them w/in a Board Book.

Great platform to use!

Kommentare: The product is easy to use, but when support is needed they are great when issues do arise - they are quick to respond and always courteous and very helpful and knowledgeable! We never fear having to call for support!

Vorteile:

The integration of moving from our old platform to this one was easy, it's easy for end-users to use, love being able to upload multiple items at once and creating the board packets within the system! The surveys and approvals are another feature that we really like a lot and use on a regular basis! Great way to get board involvement in things and it's easy for them to do!

Nachteile:

Nothing that I can think of at this time. I'm sure there's something, but it's not coming to mind currently.

LOVE the Professional Presentation

Vorteile:

The dashboard feature is my favorite feature offered by BoardVantage. I love that we can provide so much data to the Directors within a single screen. I just wish there were more cards available.

Nachteile:

The mobile features are different from the desktop version - as a non-iPad user, it makes it difficult for me to provide support to the users who rely on their iPads.

Portal Review

Kommentare: It is good. Sometimes the plug-in in Microsoft Office is disabled but due to Microsoft updates, I believe.

Vorteile:

The board books are convenient and look nice.

Nachteile:

I don't like that you can't add fields to documents you are getting signed. Just a signature, no date or other variable field options. It makes the feature too limited.

Boardvantage advantages

Kommentare: So far the best storage and meetings software I have come across

Vorteile:

It is an advanced way of conducting meetings and a great way of storing information

Nachteile:

Still to really use it and discover the loopholes

Works wonders for us

Kommentare: I like that we no longer have to mail out confidential board materials and it cuts down on confusion when updates are made. In the past we had to bring printed copies of revisions or additions to the meeting if they were made after the materials had been mailed to the board members. I notice that most board members use their IPad so no materials are printed which cuts down on confidential documents being misplaced.

Vorteile:

I liked the ease of updating the board materials once they are posted.

Nachteile:

Can be pricey if you are on a limited budget. Also if your board members are not used to using current technology there will be a learning curve.

Vorteile:

Several features make it very practical: Ability to structure folders easily, send emails in the software, link to corporate email, change permissions by document, etc.

Nachteile:

Can be glitchy sometimes in certain browsers

Multi channel and multi company access

Vorteile:

All of my boards all use Nasdaq Boardvantage, so once I learned it, it was easy to translate to the other companies

Nachteile:

Not all of my boards are on the same version, which sometimes makes Access tricky. For example, there is an issue with continued access using Safari.

Workable Tool but tool could use some improvement

Vorteile:

I like the post it notes, highlighting, feature. Relatively easy to use. Customer service representatives are very helpful.

Nachteile:

I dislike the following things: (1) The sync function is slow. It is unwieldy and slow. It is hard to eliminate prior (older) documents from syncing each time into the briefcase. (2) I don’t find the website particularly attractive. (3) I think a user manual would be helpful so I don’t have to keep calling the NASDAQ BoardVantage customer service respresentatives.

Great Support

Vorteile:

I had to contact support on 3 separate occasions. They were all very knowledgeable and professional.

Nachteile:

As a new person onboarding, there were files I had to download to make it compatible on my computer. This was not shared until I had called the helpline. There should be an onboarding playbook or a manual on the site easily accessible and searchable by key word.

Distributing meeting papers

Kommentare: Lots of re-training to irregular users after breaks.

Vorteile:

Time and paper saving in distributing meeting papers

Nachteile:

Need to teach users, set password for irregular users

An excellent system for corporate directors

Kommentare: Recently I had very prompt and responsive help support when calling your help support via telephone.

Vorteile:

Now that I have spent the upfront time fully understanding how to use and navigate through the system I find it very easy to use in reviewing and annotating board documents.

Nachteile:

It seems much slower to process and download new files than other comparable systems I have used (e.g. Diligent)

Great product and support!

Kommentare: We have had a many year positive relationship with this company and software and appreciate the ease of use for the user and for our Board of Directors. It is a huge relief to be able to easily share confidential information and also to have the option to delete that info remotely.

Vorteile:

This product is easy to use, much like navigating windows and their 24 hour support staff is outstanding when to comes to any questions.

Nachteile:

I really don't have anything not positive to say about this software.

Worth it

Kommentare: Overall my experience has been very good. At the moment I believe I am receiving way too many emails from Nasdaq it is a bit overkill there are 1 or 2 and sometimes more in my In Box for Nasdaq every day. On top of all the other emails I am receiving it does not give me sufficient time to look at them all.

Vorteile:

It saves me a lot of time. It is pretty user friendly. I have always found the customer support to be fabulous.

Nachteile:

The log in process is what I like the least about this software.

Verry Effective Software Product

Vorteile:

Software is straightforward to use and store documents securely. The other thing I like about the product is the customer service support. They were very responsive and quickly resolved my issue.

Nachteile:

I have not found an issue with the program.

Easy to use but need more upgrade

Vorteile:

easy to upload and collate documents easy to share secure documents

Nachteile:

Only word file can be a front page of a book so if any other files, excel or power point, can be a front page, it is more easy to use. Email system is not comfortable because I cannot see the precious email when creating new email. When adding documents onto book, it is very helpful if "Update" mark can be added next to the document name on the front page automatically

Great Product

Kommentare: The customer service is wonderfully helpful in walking you through any trouble shooting and also provided me with a backup alternative in case needed in the future as a temp fix.

Vorteile:

The product makes it very easy to upload documents to create pacakges for Board presentation. And on the flip side, very easy for the Board to obtain and review when the packages are complete.

Nachteile:

I have no complaints about the software at the current time.

Great system

Kommentare: We've only just started using it but wanted something that was more secure than sending out emails.

Vorteile:

I appreciate the ease with which you can create a board book and then change it around as needed to match changes in the schedule as well as the ability to track who has logged into the system.

Nachteile:

Would like an ability to customize reports.

My company just recently started utilizing this program. So far I can tell that it is very user friendly and the support from my Trainer has been very helpful. I am looking forward to using it every day!
