Vorteile:

Integration in PowerPoint ist klasse. Der Rest steht im Titel

Nachteile:

Eine Version in deutscher Sprache wäre komfortabler.

Slido ist super!

Vorteile:

Perfekt bei großen Meetings, um Abstimmungen zu erheben, auch anonym. Wenn man Meetings mit mehr als 30 Leuten hat, garantiert nützlich!

Nachteile:

Mehr Funktionen für die App währen interessant

Slido im Unterricht

Kommentare: Ich war sehr zufrieden, auch mit den Ergebnissen. Ich habe Handyumfragen eingebunden in eine Präsentation. Meine Schüler fanden es toll.

Vorteile:

einfach zu bedienen, benutzerfreundlich, gerne gesehen bei meinen Schülern

Nachteile:

keine Beschwerden anzumelden. Ich war rundherum zufrieden.

Simple yet very entertaining and user-friendly tool!

Vorteile:

I recommend this for creating polls and surveys for both, adults and children. The questions and answers (and points and statistics) are very nicely and neatly displayed and everyone can participate without having to create an account.

Nachteile:

There is nothing to complain about, this tool works well and can be used for various occasions and audiences.

I'm using the free version and cannot export results. I don't know if it is possible to export results in the paid version

Vorteile:

Slido has a clean and easy-to-use user interface, navigation and setup are always simple. Slido is great for preparing engaging and effective presentations before virtual meetings or events. I loved the ease of setting up live polls and syncing them with presentations, which added great value to our pre-meeting preparations, enabling us to engage the audience and respond to their questions early on.

Nachteile:

No negatives at all, always look forward to new Slido updates that include ideas and integrations that simplify the workflow even more.

Billing practices challenging - beware

Vorteile:

This software is integrated nicely into PowerPoint and facilitates audience engagement.

Nachteile:

Slido is located in Slovakia. In my case, my bank balked at using a business card for their products. I requested an invoice to see if I could pay that way: the only other solution was an overseas bank transfer, which appeared suspicious and unsafe. However, they unlocked the product anyway and billed me later for it - I had no idea that in requesting an invoice, I'd committed to use of the product and payment by bank transfer. This is the only software product I've ever known to give access to a product without payment first: I believed I was using the free version for that reason. I did not use the full functionality of Slido because I did not know I had it but was billed anyway. They've been relentlessly hounding me about this for weeks since then.

The most convenient way to engage audiences

Kommentare: Slido has made it totally anxiety free for my educational platforms; it allows me set meetings and events, engage attendees and participants, control their interactions, and more importantly, get instant feedback and measure the outcomes of my meetings via polls, surveys, Q&A sessions and many other features. Without Slido, I might not be able to take my webinars and conferences to another level.

Vorteile:

Slido's user-friendly dashboard allows users to engage attendees in meetings using a bunch of powerful tools, which range from stunning themes and stand-alone settings to polling and voting in Q&A sessions. Slido users can set events in few clicks with much control on the number of participants, moderation settings, and data export. It allows users to protect the privacy of particpants with passwords, or single signing codes as security measures, not found in other alternatives. Slido makes easy for other companies with its integrations to many platforms, mainly Google and Youtube.

Nachteile:

Its amazing features are only available on paid plans, and that's a limitation for Slido. However, I don't think it is expensive to get.

Great for conference polling

Kommentare: No complaints aside from a few suggested improvements for a better user experience (re rooms)

Vorteile:

Used at an international conference to take audience polls during different sessions. Worked really well. Audience liked it too. Being able to use different question types and save the answers for later anaylisis is great.

Nachteile:

Not being able to program rooms to activate at certain days or times. Not having a unique QR code for each room - made things complicated.

Live Polling without Monthly Subscription

Kommentare: I signed up for their lowest product option for a single event at $60 only and I thought it was an excellent value and product. I was able to even to customize my #code name.

Vorteile:

The best thing about Slido is to sign up for the service on a case by case basis. Most other companies like it you would have to do a subscription.

Nachteile:

I'm not that tech savvy, so I wasn't sure how to embed the live poll in my powerpoint slide.

Fun to some remote quizzes with the team

Vorteile:

Very useful to perform some quizzes, remotely, with the team. You are able to show the scoreboard at the end of each question, for example, and the percentage of answers in each question. With the trial version, you can have a large number of players.

Nachteile:

As I was using the trial version, I couldn't try some features, like export the results. Besides that, maybe it could be a bit easier to use, at least when starting, for the first time.

Excellent Powerpoint Integration

Vorteile:

- Really easy to set up and use - Great for audience participation - Best part is the easy integration with Powerpoint for presentations

Nachteile:

No issues, really liked the product, excellent

Slido pleasantly streamlined our antiquated voting system.

Kommentare: For 44 years, the "People's Choice" votes for our annual music and arts festival art shows were manually selected and tallied... rather old-school but it worked. Dipping our toes into changing "the way it's always been done," we gave Slido a test-run with our smallest art show. The ease with which we could manage the votes and instantly identify the winner was an incredible time-saver! A game-changer!

Vorteile:

We found Slido to be simple to use not only for us as managers of the polls, but for our users... who were of all ages and abilities.

Nachteile:

Because we used the free trial version, all of the features were not available to us this time around. The only feature we didn't like about the free trial version, was that we could not upload our own photo/logo as the lead graphic on the poll. NOT a big deal at ALL!!

Vorteile:

I use slido for setting survey questions and forward them to customer's to find out customers' challenges and satisfaction through their feedback and helps to improve in service.

Nachteile:

Slido is easy to use and assist in decision making.

Trialled and impressed

Kommentare: It was a lot easier than I first thought. We are a non-profit charity, and we therefore have to select our software very carefully. Slido is a good choice for the presentations we make to the elderly, vulnerable and training for Front Line Workers. However, cost may be an issue for us, so we may research to find a fully free version, albeit with slightly less features

Vorteile:

Simplicity of use, and plenty of training videos

Nachteile:

I only used the free sample. I have no idea how much Slido costs to have a full version. It would have been good to allow some of the paid for extras, so that I could see the capabilities i.e. GIFs

Slido used during a workshop

Kommentare: I enjoyed it and offered something original and unique to my audience. I felt very happy I could have an engaging presentation and that in a good part thanks to Slido.

Vorteile:

Easy access to all participants, manage time on each question, nice display of results.

Nachteile:

I didn't find a way to export my notes created on Power Point to Slido.

Easy to use and delivers value

Vorteile:

It is very easy to set up polls and Q&As with Slido. It is very simple for participants to join in and interact as well. Plus, the way the results and questions are displayed to participants in the presenter mode makes the meetings more fun and interactive. This is what sets Slido apart from other products.

Nachteile:

The pricing is a bit high if you do not use it often.

Easy to learn and use, I can create the quiz quickly and good point is that I can turn on/off the question as I want
