Easy dashboard solution.

Vorteile:

It is possible to create dashboards that automatically refresh. The people in the office love it because they don't have to look for a report in our CRM. The people in the warehouse don't have access to a computer so they love it. It keeps them on task and allows them to plan.

Nachteile:

Some of the integrations do not have enough support. We're working on the documentation for pushing our own data in, but it's a little hit-and-miss, but it seems to be going ok.

A cool looking dashboard creator

Vorteile:

Definitely how the dashboards look. The information can be seen in a compelling way, which is super important considering that sometimes you need to communicate hard to understand KPIs. Dashboards are easy to create and deploy, there are some very pretty prebuilt ones. Another positive thing is how the Geckoboard Team constantly adds new data sources to increase compatibility.

Nachteile:

When I was using it, the integration with Google Analytics was relatively limited, unfortunately, I needed to add a calculated metric on the dashboard and Geckoboard didn't allow me to do it.

Warum Geckoboard gewählt wurde: DS is fully integrated with GA, I knew that the Geckoboard team was improving its integration but I didn't have time to wait, its a shame.

Easy to use and looking good without lot of Work. Give it 10 min and you are up and running. And some days if you want to use more advance features.

Nachteile:

More connectors and also lack of custom data to extract. But I think its not only a Geckobord problem. Its lack of API information from the sources?

Time Saving Efficiency and Motivation

Kommentare: It has been a fantastic experience. I am not tech savvy at all and [sensitive content hidden]
at Geckoboard made setting everything up very easy. He put time into understanding why I wanted a dashboard system, how I wanted to use it, and how Geckoboard could help me accomplish what I set out to do. A big goal for me was to not have to change how I already did things. I didn't want to add more work/steps to what I already did in order to have a dashboard system. This is HUGE for me and he/Geckoboard was able to make it happen. My journey to having a dashboard system for my company started out as a very frustrating one. Other companies I reached out to for assistance during their free trial period were not very helpful or were just flat out unresponsive. I had quite the opposite experience with Geckoboard and I couldn't be happier.

Vorteile:

I have been tracking sales and commissions through Google Sheets for 5 years now. After getting my sheets dialed in, saving me tons of time, I was still spending significant time each week updating our sales boards in the office. Geckoboard has automated everything and did it using the sales tracking Google Sheets I was already using. This has saved me hours each week. The boards are visually appealing and easy to understand. I can now also have this information in front of our entire company at all times, on their phones or computers, instead of having to be in the office to see the boards. Agents are competitive. They love to see how we are doing as a company and where they fall on the leaderboards. This has provided motivation and healthy competition within the company. I am already seeing many more possibilities I can utilize Geckoboard for to make our company better. I am excited to implement them.

Nachteile:

Nothing to mention at this time.

Easy and Simple for our SME

Kommentare: Ye always been a solid bit of kit for us. Would recommend to anyone trying to build consitency and project business performance.

Vorteile:

It's really easy for us to project those key metrics that run our business. We are by no means tech guys and it's the spearhead data that helps managers continually improve

Nachteile:

On the roadmap but duplicating dashboards would have been helpful early days. Some of the widget creation is a bit repetitive especially of data moves in an excel spreadsheet. Minor moan! For us as well we could do with a data connection to Zoho.

Geckoboard is a great product, giving easy access to important metrics within our organisation.

Vorteile:

Geckoboard creates a place that anyone from within our company, can review all our company metrics we regard as important. Making things very transparent for any employee. Deployment and adding components is really easy, integrating with almost all of our tech stack which makes Geckoboard the one place where we get to view metrics, which are usually spread across various platforms.

Nachteile:

I don't have many con's to mention, but if there was one it would be great to be able to change the color of each component.

Amazing visualization tool for KPIs

Kommentare: I have used Geckoboard for several years now and within different companies. I have always found it incredibly useful and beneficial within each company I have implemented it.

Vorteile:

I love how easy and quick it was to integrate with our existing platforms and CRM The support is second to none. I have always found it pleasent and informative when reaching out to the team.

Nachteile:

I think some additional customization options that allow further digging into specific data but it's not hard to work around it and the dashboards allow plenty of room.

Vorteile:

Geckoboard is super easy to use. Thanks to its integration with several APIs, it is an extremely powerful SAAS software that can really help any business gain a deeper understanding of their business in only. few steps - be it through website performance and analytics tools, through to sales tracking with visual summaries. This is now the second company I've introduced Geckoboard to and I could not be happier!

Nachteile:

I think the fact that spreadsheets lose their formatting in the integration process can be problematic and confusing for the user at first. The spreadsheets are definitely harder to navigate when you are setting up the cells Geckoboard needs to be navigating somewhere. Also a better Instagram connection is needed, although I understand that is down to Meta.

Fantastic tool to anyone that manages a business

Kommentare: I love Geckoboard. Its helped me manage the business with so much ease. I only need to glance at the screen I have hanging on the wall to know the health of the business and customer demands.

Easy or implementation and use. Once its set up you can forget about it. It will run itself

Nachteile:

It was easy to integrate. You will be fine if you have basic/intermediate computer skills.

Simplicity is Geckoboard's best feature.

Kommentare: Very good, easy to use, and informative, it definitely gets its audience with multiple screens you can display in one place and change regularly if you are running out of space for tiles. We use it in our call centre to let the agents know about the daily performances of the teams and alert them if there are call and email backlogs. You can manipulate the colors of the tiles so if there is a problem, you see the tiles chaning the colours to red if too many calls waiting for example.

Vorteile:

Its simplicity and no hassle whatsoever to set it up.

Nachteile:

So much data and always not enough space to show everything, but I guess, that would be in any other similar software. Refreshing screens only every 30 seconds might be for some not enough.

Had an immediate impact on our sales figures

Vorteile:

We have this up on a large screen in each of our offices and every minute of every day you can see exactly where you are against your targets. All staff from Sales reps to dispatchers were motivated by this and we saw an immediate impact on our sales figures and awareness in the team!

Nachteile:

We would like this to be able to connect to other systems that we use currently without having to go through API connections as we are not very technologically minded!

Excellent for TV dashboards

Kommentare: Overall if you are looking for a way to get metrics on a TV to drive team performance, this is perfect. If you are looking for a BI tool, look elsewhere.

Vorteile:

Geckoboard is very easy to use and get set up. If you have basic knowledge of data, you will be able to get metrics and dashboards created easily. They also have a wide variety of prebuilt dashboards. The metrics looks great and getting them up on a TV can have a huge impact on team performance.

Nachteile:

There aren't many options for working with your data but that's to be expected here. You really need to have your data in the format you want it displayed before you bring in into Geckoboard.

Vorteile:

I love that I can link up Google Sheets and other 3rd parties to Gekoboard. This is a great way to see team stats live and it makes them readily available to the team.

Nachteile:

I think that the Google integration could be a bit better. Sometimes I just want to show a graph or a screenshot of a Google sheet, and there really isn't a great way to do that.

Geckoboard is great, except for the randomly disconnecting service accounts

Kommentare: Geckoboard has been a great tool for us as we use it to track all sorts of internal metrics. We have several boards on a shared loop displayed in our main office space for maximum visibility to the team.

Vorteile:

A++ customer support. I have encountered several issues/had obscure questions and the support team went above and beyond to solve any problems.

Nachteile:

Only major complaint- connected Service accounts (such as Facebook) expire randomly and must be manually updated but Geckoboard does not have a notification system to let you know. Only when I happen to look over and see that the particular board is not updating, then I know to go in and reconnect the accounts. Also had to reach out to Support the first time to find out why the account disconnected in the first place.

Can Be A Tool for Visualising Performance - Needs a Few More Updates

Kommentare: So far it has been pretty good. I have found the support team incredibly attentive and helpful when needed.

Vorteile:

Being able to visualise our performance in head office has been fantastic. It was super quick and easy to set up Geckoboard for our business.

Nachteile:

I would love to have more filters for Shopify and possibly more information/data from Instagram. It would be great to be able to display or show our top-performing Instagram posts on a dashboard. It would also be great to be able to display more granular information from our Shopify store.

Vorteile:

Creating a dashboard is very easy and the data for it can be pulled through the various integrations.

Nachteile:

The amount of dashboards is quite restricted if you are not in the enterprise plan. If you want to make your company more data-driven at every edge and corner, this limitation must be removed.

Extremely easy to use one-stop shop analytics dashboard

How easy it was to take raw data from our company, and manipulate it via the Geckobard software to display in a pretty, easy to read, impactful format .

Nachteile:

Didn't provide a ton of recommendations for uses for the dashboard (common uses, examples, ideas, etc.

Great support experience

Vorteile:

Support team are amazing and support people who are not 100% IT savvy. Widgets have everything required to show your company or department exactly where the team is at.

Nachteile:

More personalisation. But that's a minor con. It's the data that is more important and Geckoboard supports that.

Love it, can't imagine life without it now.

Vorteile:

Very flexible, provides visible realtime KPIs and MI that motivates the team. Geckoboard has helped us improve service delivery tenfold through simply being able to see exactly how we are doing.
