The subscription selling process is so simple and customizable for each customer it gives my staff confidence they will get it right first time every time.
We offer many types of packages and it was hard to keep track of the revenue and round usages on the tee sheet.

The team in Chronogolf have been fantastic from day one, always ready to help when you need them!
Vorteile:
Modern intuitive and user-friendly for both customers and staff. It gives great insights to help run the business more effectively across the golf course tee sheet, membership subscriptions, retail and restaurant aspects. The team are always open to suggestions as to what need to be tweaked to help make the system work better for our particular needs and will always help as soon as possible.
Nachteile:
At the moment I cant say there are any downsides to the system, any issues we have come across are being dealt with and can see that there is a genuine want to provide what we need to get it to be 100% right for us.

Kommentare: We went from a pencil and paper tee sheet to this robust system. I'm not gonna lie, there were a few bumps along the way but once I was trained I was able to train all my employees and it's been invaluable to evaluating the health of our country club.
Vorteile:
Platform is intuitive. Training is manageable. It is robust enough to go REALLY deep while easy enough for "cheap" empoyees to navigate it without messing stuff up. The integration between tee sheet and retail is awesome and I'm hoping when we add restaurant it will also be awesome.
Nachteile:
There are some features I would like to be able to adjust myself, but the company keeps it in house so we occasionally need Lightspeed to adjust stuff for us.

Great for Everyday Bookings + Tournaments!
Vorteile:
This software allows golf-central businesses to keep organized; it specializes in booking anything from 1 person tee times to large scale tournaments that can span multiple courses. There are numerous integrations with this software that allows bookings from other websites to show up on the tee sheets on its own!
Nachteile:
At times the software can be a bit slow and buggy when working with large tournament data, especially when adding dozens of shotgun groups at once.

Lightspeed software is incredibly easy to use and offers tremendous features to help you manage your business. The dynamic pricing tee sheet feature is key for our business and the Business Intelligence and POS reporting gives us the data we need to analyze our revenue. The added value you find with website management, CRM, and other tools are great to maximize the value of partnering with Lightspeed. Every piece of the Lighspeed puzzle offers dedicated support teams that assist with any question quickly and with almost immediate responses for tee sheet and POS management. I'd highly recommend Lightspeed to any golf operation of any size.
Nachteile:
As with any change, there are growing pains and challenges. While Lightspeed training is excellent, there are a couple features on occasion that we have requested specifically to improve upon or add for an even better experience. The biggest hurdle is the same as you would face in making this kind of transition with any new software program and that is simply the learning curve involved and time it takes to setup all of the tools and items needed to start operating normally again. The good news is that Lightspeed makes it about as painless as possible for such a significant transition.

Vorteile:
It is a modern cloud based system that is simple or as complex as you would like. If you are coming from an older style point of sale system it will take a little while to get up to speed, but don't worry the support services are prompt, competent and patient. The ability to work from home to manage the system has been great for our management team. Reports are detailed and easy to run. Collecting customer information is straight forward. Different modules are available as your comfort level with the product increases that will help differential your golf facility from the crowd. The system works seamlessly with Lightspeed and has resulted in improved bottom line performance in every department category. It is easy to make informed decisions on performance as you go along.
Nachteile:
There is so much capability with this system you can get overwhelmed in the first peak season. We are really looking forward to the off season to strategically go through the system for improved performance. It is a intuitive system but there is a lot of potential to challenge your team.
Chronogolf has been the best by Far
Kommentare: All that said, Chronogolf is an excellent program that my golf course plans to use for years to come.

I've used a few different tee sheet management software programs throughout my time working at golf courses, and Chronogolf has been the best by far. This program has great, very intuitive features that I felt the other services I used were lacking. Some of my personal favorites are included below: - A very nice way to price out golf per individuals, or groups of golfers (we have many different price points and golfer "types" here, and the ability to set the daily pricing by the hour, and easily change a golfer's specific pricing by changing his or her "type" makes it very easy and quick checking in golfers) - The ability to click and drag a tee time to change the time is awesome. So much easier than going into the reservation and changing the time, or deleted and recreating - Having a way to set colors to different types is great and gives a quick way to see the demographic of golfers on any given day - The tournament module is awesome (still needs a few minor tweaks) But as a course that hosts many tournaments, I use this module very frequently and it provides a very easy way to manage the tee sheet on a tournament day - Probably the biggest feature is that it is cloud-based. I can access any information I need to at any time I need which is very useful and important to me.
Nachteile:
This program, like all others, does have a few minor flaws, and some bugs (sometimes runs very slowly, or just glitches tee times out) but all that is very minor and usually does not cause any lastly problems.
LIGHTSPEED IS A GAME CHANGER
Vorteile:
I like how you can easily monitor your store at anytime, so easily.. on your phone, computer, I pad. It has a number of super helpful reports, easy inventory tracking. Overall lightspeed is just the best POS software out there, hands down.
Nachteile:
Anything I've come across to be difficult or that I've struggled to figure out, I've called support and been helped immediately. We've had a couple errors with the payment machine, which refreshing the webpage fixed.
Great software
Kommentare: I have had a great experience so far with Lightspeed and the customer support has been top notch. We are hoping Lightspeed Payments takes us to another level this coming season. Very pleased with the change to Lightspeed in early 2022.

Vorteile:
Easy to use and train employees with. Very versatile. I would rate every category five stars, except they keep adding features that make the software even better!
Nachteile:
I really cannot think of any cons about this package. Maybe I would like to see another payment processor besides STRIPE available - it would be nice to use the same payment company that we are using with related POS and Restaurant software.
Don't Think Twice
Kommentare: Our experience with Chronogolf has been nothing but exceptional! We are using Chronogolf in our Golf Shop and Food & Beverage departments. The support staff at Chronogolf have gone above and beyond to ensure that our onboarding and training went well. After the fact, the staff has been there for us every time we had a question or needed a reminder of the process for a certain aspect of Chronogolf. Chronogolf is the most user friendly software I have ever used!
Vorteile:
I love that this software is cloud based and I can access it from anywhere.
Nachteile:
I wish Lightspeed integrated with Moneris.

I love the back end reporting from Lightspeed and the way it feeds into Quickbooks. It saves me time!

Sometimes the filters for reporting can be hard to access but that could be user error. :)

Kommentare: Golf Courses have unique features, offerings and services. Chronogolf seems to learn on the fly and deliver regular updates that help us manage and grow our business. I'm excited to see what the future holds for Chrono and plan to continue using this software.
Vorteile:
It's easy to teach and makes training a breeze. Overall we are very happy with Chronogolf. The look, the function and the support are superior to any software we've used. Like any software, there are things you wish it did and didn't do but chrono/lightspeed tick a lot of boxes! I'll leave more comments in the "Cons" section as that is more important to improving the software.
Nachteile:
Too many clicks per sale (7 in total if you're producing 2 receipts) Chrono Reporting is great but sometimes inaccurate. Seems Chrono has most of the tools but Lightspeed has the accurate data of converted transactions. The golf course app could offer more functions as it's only good for booking online. Would like to see hole layout/yardage, push notifications, etc Cloud based software is great for the most part but sometimes "spotty" or "glitchy" The other negatives are likely things I just haven't learned yet. Overall very happy.
Easiest decision of the year.

We have been using Chronogolf for a few months now, after we decided it was time to make a change from our previous system. Our main reasoning came down to the fact that Chronogolf, when compared to our last provider, is much smaller and provides superior support. After experiencing past outages, and technical difficulty, we find it amazing that Chronogolf is always keeping us informed with what new innovations they are adding to the tee sheet, and even letting us know when an outage is experienced (which is rare). Apart from service, it has been a great convenience to be able to access the tee sheet from anywhere. With two lodges, two golf courses, and a reservations department all in separate locations, this is an absolute must have tool. This even allows for our superintendents to access the tee sheet from their phones, so we can keep them updated with the level of play we are experiencing on any given day. Finally, we see Chronogolf as a company that is willing to take on the addition of features that we require in our operation. With most of our play positioned as high-end tourism, we require a large amount of information in each booking. It has been great to work with a team that his willing and able to customize their offering, and take on suggestions. This is something I could never see us having the ability to do with our last provider.
Nachteile:
The only suggestion that I could foresee, would be to improve the mobile phone / tablet display. The web-page displays with some of the features overlapped. A back of house app would be great as well.

The Support Group is the best I have ever encountered and the software is very easy to learn how to use!
Nachteile:
Would love to see a Roll-Up Report about employees ... to balance nightly cash sales to a specific employee is not very easy ... one has to bounce around to many reports to find this information.

Very easy to use and learn. Has great functionality and simple to make changes on the spot.
Nachteile:
There are some functions I would like to see changed. Better communication with retail and resto. It would be great if a block didn't mean you could save any alterations to a tee time.
Great cloud based system with clean UI
Vorteile:
Cloud based! Can be accessed from any device from anywhere. Tee sheet and booking procedure is easy and looks great. Pleasing to the eye and very intuitive in nature. Creating tee times and rates are a bit of a process but once you get the flow it becomes second nature. Creating tournaments and events are simple and can be accessed online. Reporting and statistical information is wonderful and easy to access. Has wonderful features for promotions that work great especially if you have punch cards or multiple round deals. Customer service response is timely and helpful.
Nachteile:
UI on a phone is buggy. Needs it's own dedicated app. Limited features compared to other golf software. Lightspeed POS has limitations and isn't tailored towards a golf operations unique set of requirements. Online booking procedure for guests differs from other software but still does the job.

Chronogolf is exceptional value
Vorteile:
The overall quality of Chronogolf is what was expected; Modern, Intuitive, User Friendly and most of all always evolving day to day. As a busy professional my time is valuable so the ease to use, having features and functions that stay in touch with your clients needs is a must. Chronogolf is always improving it's product for the business and client. The support is second to none, real time support is a must given my business is "NOW TIME" meaning we are in front of our clients and can not afford to leave a message when we need assistance. The extra bonus with Chronogolf is the fact that you do not break the bank and you build the business model you want and can afford.
Nachteile:
It would be great if the package feature had a "half-usage" feature. We have configured it to where our current set up does work for us, but it would be great if we had the option to add a half-usage
Chronogolf gives us the chance to improve our current structure
Kommentare: Overall, being a 9-hole course, Chronogolf allows us to offer 9-hole and 18-hole bookings to our guests without creating conflict on the booking page and allowing us to optimize all tee times. Many golfers now use technology to improve their technique, keep track of their scores, make reservations online. Technology is evolving fast and Chronogolf's expert team is helping us keep up to date in this area.

The software allows every employee to focus on doing their job, which is to get golfers on time and make sure they respect playing time. The Chronogolf / Lighspeed partnership is also a key point in the management of our club. This allows us to output accurate data from different periods of the year. All of these results can easily point us to future choices in order to adopt the best strategy for the next season.
Nachteile:
I use the support chat to make suggestion from time to time, and Chronogolf understands that each course operates differently and may have different needs.
I have used GolfNow and I would recommend Chronogolf system to any golf course operation.
Kommentare: I would also like to mention the customer service is fantastic. CSR and others are quick with responding to my emails, always doing follow ups on issues that I had. These issues were on improving my knowledge of the operating system, web page performance and how to maximize Chronogolf for my needs and to improve our marketing needs.

I have used Chronogolf for one golf season here in Ontario, Canada. I have come to enjoy working with the system. The program is very user friendly and fast when dealing with phone bookings. The ease of going from Chronogolf to Lightspeed POS to the any other part of the system (customer list, inventory, pricing, etc) is fast and easy to navigate.
Nachteile:
There were some questions about the marketing tool that CSR helped me with. He checks up on us and makes sure we are aware of the new features and making sure we are using the software to its full potential.
Chronogolf is easy to use and completes our day-to-day operations!

Chronogolf is an excellent online booking software for managing reservations at the proshop. The fact that members have access to their profile online, the ability to take notes on reservations and send emails to customers directly from the tee sheet are just some of the many benefits of having this robust software at our golf course. Moreover, the ability to chat live with Chronogolf agents is without a doubt the main advantage.
Nachteile:
We want to add the POS integration to Chronogolf to facilitate payments and inventory management.

Since the implementation of Chronogolf at our facility, we can manage tee times in a more efficient way. All our members can now book their tee time online with just a few clicks! The software has a large variety of options, like the tournament module, that enable us to manage the day-to-day activities of the course with ease.
Nachteile:
There is not something specific we dislike, but whenever we have an issue, the support team is always patient and helpful.

We are proud to use Chronogolf by Lightspeed for its complete tee sheet management. The platform is intuitive and easy to use and allows our entire organization to effectively manage day-to-day operations from anywhere. It’s easy to manage our inventory and keep the stock updated as well as keeping track of special orders for customers, which saves me lots of time. One last thing would be the ease of access to a support agent through chat which ensures that any queries or concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Kommentare: After adopting the Dynamic Pricing Module, we saw our rounds more evenly distributed across the day, with improved pace of play. The process from start to finish has been a breeze and I would suggest Chronogolf to any industry colleagues.
Vorteile:
The purchasing process was a breeze, and we received tons of support during implementation. Our staff picked up on the new system very quickly, and the blog posts that outline how to complete all SOP's were very helpful. We found that our members immediately began online booking, which most didn't do when using our old system. Reporting data is easy to pull from both Chronogolf and Lightspeed. The real time help chat is a big bonus as well, as questions get answered extremely quickly.
Nachteile:
The only challenge that we had was with regards to a payment type in Lightspeed, which was really quite negligible. Overall there were no significant issues with the software.
