Lange Kunde aber jetzt nie wieder

Kommentare: Einmal konnte LastPass das Geld nicht von meinem Bankkonto abbuchen und dann wurde mein Konto sofort gesperrt und ich wurde herabgestuft. Es dauerte dann lange, bis mein Abonnement erneuert wurde, und das war sehr unbequem. Ich denke, das Geld, das ich euch zahle, ist 15-mal höher als die Kosten der Software für euch, daher wäre es möglich gewesen, den Service aus Kulanz für einen so langjährigen Kunden wie mich zu verlängern.
Jetzt bin ich beleidigt und werde es auch bleiben. Ich habe alles zu 1Password gewechselt, das zwar etwas teurer ist, aber eine viel bessere Benutzererfahrung bietet.
Dank dieser Sperre habe ich im Internet nach einem anderen Angebot für einen Passwortmanager gesucht und etwas Besseres gefunden.
Ich wünsche euch alles Gute für eure Zukunft.

Vorteile:

Alle Passwörter an einem Ort und schön geordnet.

Nachteile:

Bisschen umständlich und es ist etwas nervig, dass das Fenster immer vorne dran ist bei den Textfeldern. Außerdem nervt es mich, dass ich es nicht auf allen Geräten nutzen kann, nur wenn ich zahle darf ich das. Auch blöd ist das Teilen der Passwörter was auch immer irgendwie zufällig funktioniert

Passwort-Sicherheit in der heutigen Zeit

Kommentare: Insgesamt bin ich sehr begeistert. Man hat alle Links inkl. Daten an einem sicheren Ort gespeichert.

Vorteile:

Die Verwendung ist sehr einfach. Ein Klick und man kommt direkt auf die Seite mit bereits ausgefüllten Benutzer und Passwort. Die Freigabe von Passwörtern, Untergruppen, etc. als Administrator zu verwalten ist sehr einfach gestaltet. Durch die übersichtliche Darstellung der Freigaben und Rechten, hat man alles schnell und einfach im Blick.

Nachteile:

Oftmals wird nicht auf die Untergruppe geachtet. Zudem sind manche Eingaben fehlerhaft oder unvollständig. Hier gibt es keine Vorgabe an Mindestangaben.

Mein Alltagshelfer für Passwortsicherheit

Kommentare: Sehr nützliches Tool. Insbesondere im Remote Betrieb möchte ich das Teilen von Zugängen über Lastpass nicht mehr missen.

Vorteile:

Lastpass ist einfach zu bedienen und die Möglichkeit, den Zugriff auf Dienste über das Tool zu sharen sind großartig.

Nachteile:

Die Oberfläche könnte etwa ansprechender gestaltet sein.

A Great Password Manager for Teams

Kommentare: Overall, I love love love LastPass. They have an incredible free option, and the paid option that we use is just as great (the difference is mostly the number of devices that you can use it on). It does its job and protects all of our passwords and our clients with flawless ease. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a super straightforward way to implement password management into their life or business.

Vorteile:

I love the sharing feature, it makes it very simple for us to share passwords with the right members of our team with very little muss or fuss. It's also super easy to use on a computer, just one click and your password is there. It integrates seamlessly into all the browsers we've tried, and the password generator is one click to ultra secured and totally unguessable passwords.

Nachteile:

The software's overall greatness is in stark contrast against its mobile performance. The biometrics logins don't work very well at all (leaving you to type a complicated master password with your thumbs). It doesn't always show up as an option with every mobile site or app and often times when it does, it's unusable because it's under the "eye" icon that allows you to reveal the password, which renders it unclickable.

Solid Business Password manager

Kommentare: LastPass is a great paid password management program to try out. It has one of the easiest interfaces to learn and use, so you can install it and use it without spending a lot of time on learning how its used.

Vorteile:

Easy to install software into your browser. Straight forward navigation of menus lends itself to quick and intuitive workflow.

Nachteile:

Its a subscription based service like many others in this space.

User-friendly but concerns remain

Kommentare: LastPass allowed me to manage a few passwords easily, but I prefer Dashlane, though it’s not perfect.

Vorteile:

I appreciated LastPass’s user-friendly interface and multifactor authentication, which enhanced security.

Nachteile:

I was were concerned about data breach and found the product no different or better than others.

LastPass Makes My Digital Life Manageable

Kommentare: LastPass has worked flawlessly for the 10 years or so that I've been using it. Once I got familiar with its capabilities, I never had to worry about implementing secure passwords again (and I have hundreds of them). The price seems super low for such an important tool.

Vorteile:

LastPass allows me to create a very strong and unique password for everything I need to login to online. It's quick, easy and intuitive. I never have to worry about making up good passwords or trying to remember them.

Nachteile:

LastPass does have a learning curve (short but you can't skip it). You need to figure out how to generate a password in the app and/or on the website. You need to get comfortable creating folders to organize your passwords. You need to create ONE really good password that you won't forget.

LastPass is a great tool to keep your logins secure.

Kommentare: My overall experience with LastPass is good. They have a 2 step multi authenticator to get into lastpass. After that your login's should autofill to the correct websites if you have them saved. The only thing is if you let LastPass generate a password for you it is unique but odds are you won't know it unless you have access to LastPass which is okay for certain things like work related websites.

Vorteile:

What I like about LastPass is that you are able to keep any passwords (& usernames and any additional information) all in one place. LastPass also help generate unique passwords. You can also share passwords securely.

Nachteile:

The thing I like least is sometimes if someone shares a login with you but doesn't send it so that the password will update if they update it. Sometimes it won't autofill on the website either and you have to go into lastpass and launch it.

Effective and useful

Vorteile:

Passwords sync well between devices and between users. As a large team that shares accounts, the syncing feature working great is needed. The autofill feature works really work and never lets you down.

Nachteile:

It would be nice to have a quicker and more intuitive way to generate passwords quickly from the input fields. At the moment, I have to go to the LastPass browser extension and to the Generate Password tab.

Amazing Cyber Protection With LastPass

Vorteile:

LastPass comes with great security features - cyber threats are a thing of the past. This software always receives updates and therefore we enjoy protection from all known and upcoming cyber threats.

Nachteile:

LastPass has been cool with no disappointments

I like how it is so widely available and integrated. It automatically populates my passwords for me in many locations.

Nachteile:

I have to have alot of trust that they will not be hacked or expose my information.

One of the best Password manager apps

Nothing in particular. Maybe auto-filling passwords on mobile phones might require some time to properly setting it up

Relative Solid Solution for Passwords

Kommentare: Overall, it has worked really well to not only document and share individual and group work passwords, but store emergency documentation in the case of an organizational disaster as well. We feel very confident that we can restore our IT systems in the event of a catastrophic equipment and/or personnel outage because of the availability of the service via any Internet connection.

Vorteile:

The best feature of this software is the seamless integration between browsers and devices. It does not matter where an employee is; they are able to access their work credentials, their shared group credentials, and any personal passwords as well if they choose to link their personal and work LastPass accounts together. It has made universal password management a breeze.

Nachteile:

The administrator console for the software feels slow and clunky, and at times is not very intuitive. Additionally, if a user gets “stuck” trying to access their account during the provisioning process it can take a good amount of work and resets to get everything operational again.

The absolute best in password security

Kommentare: I use it to secure all of my passwords. Since I installed LastPass I actually have a different password for every service, and have no fear that I will forget them. It also includes a very handy password generator I love to use when creating new user accounts everywhere. It is the single best password manager I have ever had the pleasure of using.

Vorteile:

It is so easy to use. You just install it in your browser and forget it exists until you need to punch in a password you forgot. It is a perfect way to manage your passwords!

Nachteile:

I would like it to remember my passwords automatically instead of asking me every time. I'm not sure that option exists so far. Other than that, it is great!

Recommend for those new to password management, experienced user may seek other options

Kommentare: Overall my experience with LastPass has been positive. I switched over from using KeepPass when I acquired a year long LastPass subscription through a bundle purchase. The seamless cloud synchronization and reliability of browser extensions was a positive compared to the open source KeepPass solution. After my subscription expired I continued to use the free version of LastPass until they announced free accounts would be limited to a single device, after which I purchased a year of LastPass premium. With my current year subscription coming due I believe I am going to start researching other options to see if I can find something that meets my needs at a better price point.

Vorteile:

Very simple and easy to setup and deploy. The browser extension and phone apps make using LastPass a easy way for most people to have secure access to all of there passwords from any device they might use, the autofill options will eventually result in making the entry of secure unique passwords easier than manually typing in a short non-unique password. LastPass has a free tier of service so it is possible to explore what they offer before commuting money.

Nachteile:

The free tier is only usable with 1 device so to get any real value out of LastPass compared to other free options you will need to pay. The yearly subscription can be pretty expensive for the service they provide. The passwords are stored in their own cloud service which some may not consider a feature depending on your level of paranoia.

Last Pass - just simplifies your security

Kommentare: I've used Last pass for a very long time and it's met my every need. The ability to sync and fill passwords on any device is amazing. The security check-ups happen automatically and non-intrusively, so you can feel safe.

Vorteile:

I love the security audit of passwords. It's easy to see which sites are at most risk with simple or duplicated passwords. Makes it easy to keep on top of your security. It's also great to see breach detection alert you to compromised credentials without you having to go search for it.

Nachteile:

There's no dedicated desktop app, and the only way to use it is with a browser plugin. I would love to see a Desktop app with global shortcuts to enable filling of credentials into non-browser based applications.

Great UI but too many Breeches for a Security product

Game changing tool.

Kommentare: Seriously, a game changer for our team. Allows users to have access to their own passwords vaults on both their PCs, Macs, mobile devices. But then we also have shared accounts that we manage as a team. It's nice to be able to share and manage those accounts, so when a user leaves the company, they're not taking credentials for these accounts with them. It's been a great tool for us.

Vorteile:

LastPass makes keeping track of passwords possible, even for a team using shared accounts. For the most part, it handles creating / managing sites completely on its own. Easy to share / export lists or vaults. Makes it possible to manage access to passwords when a team member leaves the company, etc. Has been a great tool for us.

Nachteile:

It can be a little cumbersome to setup the first time, but it's not because of the tool, just because of the amount of information that needs to be entered.

I cannot recommend LastPass enough - it has revolutionised my life

Kommentare: I honestly don't think I could survive now without LastPass. I have experienced no major issues, support are very quick to respond and the assistance provided is extremely accurate.

Vorteile:

LastPass security is extremely high as you would expect off a company that provides a secure password service. Before I used LastPass I maintained an encrypted excel document with my various passwords, some hadn't been changed for years and lacked complexity. When they were all entered into LastPass it it automatically scored them, suggested which ones needed changing, and best of all, generated secure string passwords of 48 characters, random upper & lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. All of my accounts now have extremely long secure passwords that I do not need to remember as I just have to remember my pass phrase that logs me into LastPass and they do the rest for me. From an administrators point of view LastPass Enterprise allows the sharing of admin passwords, access of which can be restricted by Access Control Lists. This has greatly improved the reliability of admin passwords that we store. Finally searching for the passwords is extremely easy - on web pages it automatically triggers if the URL has been set up, and when manually searching simply type the name of the program/account and it will filter the list.

Nachteile:

The only issue I have had with LastPass is that the browser extension, when first installed, does not have a time out function. This needs to be manually set. As such inexperienced users may well end up leaving their passwords very insecure. My suggestion would be to include a "set up" introduction where the default option of a 5 minute inactivity logout could be modified to however the user desires it. This would ideally need to be done before the browser extension becomes fully live.

My team and I LOVE Last Pass! It's easy to use, helps secure your login credentials and so much more

Kommentare: It's very secure for supporting all of my passwords. I don't have to worry about remembering a bunch of different passwords, lastpass autogenerates secure passwords for me and remembers them for me. And allows me to access it from any device if I need to. It allows me to share passwords with my team for products that charge extra for additional users when we don't necessarily need additional users. It's fast and works really well all around. Not all software does that but it gives me confidence that I can trust it with my passwords. It also allows you to auto-fill forms for saving time filling out repetitive address, email, phone #, cc info etc.

Vorteile:

First off, with so many things to log in to it's impossible to follow good password procedure, which is important, especially with all of the hacks that go on. If a hacker gets one of your passwords, they know they can access a lot of your websites. Lastpass removes the pain of creating a secure password and having to remember it. You only have to create 1 secure lastpass password and you're golden. One of the biggest pains it solves for my team is allowing us to share passwords/logins for software that charges extra if you need multiple users. As a small startup that can't afford to pay for each user for every software we use, this is huge for us. It also makes onboarding new team members easier. We give them access to the services they need and can see what each service does in the notes section of the lastpass app. It also helps when my business partner signs up for a new software, I can know what it's for and viceversa. I also feel more secure having my passwords on lastpass than on Chrome's password manager.

Nachteile:

I think the design and user experience could be laid out a bit better, but it's good enough. The way they have it set up can make all of your passwords etc. feel overwhelming at times. Also, there's the obvious downside that if you forget your password you could end up locked out of all of your accounts... So make sure you remember your password.

Reliable password management. LastPass is on top of things.

Kommentare: I have a very positive experience. Using the tool for the first time was very intuitive, I didn't need any tutorials or help pages. I also never ran into technical issues and the LastPass team informs you of important changes and news from the 'online security' world. Very good customer service, I love how professional and customer-centered LastPass is.

Vorteile:

What I like most about LastPass is how easy it is to quickly create secure passwords and manage them with a few clicks. The auto-saving of passwords is a nice feature as well, saving you a lot of time. I know LastPass uses the highest password encryption and security standards, that's why I rely on this tool. I've had too many issues in the past because I used bad passwords. With LastPass I know I'm using the right kind of passwords and I don't even need to remember them.

Nachteile:

LastPass allows you to access the tool on one device as a free member. Since I use desktop more than mobile, I activated in on desktop. It would however be nice to be able to use LastPass (as free user) on both without having to choose. I understand it's part of the 'upgrade to get more' business model, but I'd love to see this.

For more than 2 years, I've relied on LastPass as my ultimate password tool, and it has proven to be an invaluable asset in securely managing my passwords. LastPass offers a seamless solution that keeps all my login credentials in one secure vault, sparing me the headache of juggling multiple passwords.One standout feature is LastPass's ability to generate strong, unique passwords for each site. This eliminates the temptation to reuse weak passwords and fortifies the security of my online accounts.

Nachteile:

Currently, I utilize the free version of LastPass, which meets my requirements. However, it comes with the limitation of being available on only one device, either mobile or laptop. Initially, having LastPass saved on my laptop allowed for effortless automatic saving and inputting of new sites and passwords. Yet, when I found myself on the go with just my mobile device, accessing certain apps and tools became cumbersome. Consequently, I added LastPass to my mobile, which proved more convenient, albeit requiring manual addition of new sites and password generation. While this isn't a major inconvenience for me and doesn't warrant an upgrade to a paid plan, it can be a hassle if I intend to continue using the free version.

Must-Have

Vorteile:

The core value proposition is the main pro: quickly creates complex, secure passwords and stores and organizes them for your easy access across the web and mobile apps on any device. Really love the security checkup and organized list of actions you should take to improve your score (security). Like the percentage score and comparison to others. Love that LastPass will go in and automatically change your passwords for many mainstream sites but that’s becoming less and less useful now that we use 2-factor authentication for so many (so it can’t). Ability to securely share passwords or vault with family members. Secure Notes section for storing info unrelated to a website. Ability to mark any record a Favorite for easier locating. Desktop app has a quick search box that pops up with a keyboard shortcut—love that. The addition of the in-app access on mobile was huge. Same with the new ability to replace Apple’s keychain with LastPass as default in the new iOS browser.

Nachteile:

Biggest issue is that the desktop Safari browser extension stopped auto-filling a month or two ago. So I had to switch browsers which I’m not happy about. Frustrating differences between LastPass versions (browser extension, mobile app integration, desktop Vault...): Can view password history on some and not others. Specific selection to generate new password to replace an existing one on some and not others (related to storing password history). When you can’t do that, the workaround to ensure I’ve stored both old and new passwords is a huge pain. Sync delays between versions. I’ve stopped using the browser pop-up asking if you want to update a site’s password because I’ve had problems in the past with it screwing things up. Some companies make you use the same username and password across their sites which may have different domain names. I wish LastPass would allow for a way to link them in their records. Now when I visit one of those sites, I have to dismiss their warning pop-up every time (warns that you’ve used that site’s password elsewhere online, which is a great feature in most cases), and if I change a password I have to remember to look up the other sites’ records and manually change those to match. Would also like to see LastPass add more sites to the list that they can auto-update, but that’s just a wish list item, not a big deal. This review makes it sound pretty horrible, but I really do love it. So much that I’m willing to put up with these downsides (in hopes that they’ll make the fixes eventually).

Password Management Made Simple

Kommentare: LastPass for Business software has helped me run my business without disturbance due to login issues. If its cost and complexity of password requirements can be reduce, it make LastPass for Busines more ROI friendly and easier to use. Another advise would be to integrate with Google Chrome or Internet Explorer browser by creating a plugin which can be installed into one of those browsers seamlessly. So, the browser can remember LastPass for Business password, so user doesn't struggle with resetting it.

Vorteile:

I login to multiple email accounts and different kinds of software almost daily to update my e-commerce website, blog and to provide virtual support to my customers. So, I need to remember several passwords to run my business efficiently. LastPass for Business has been effective in managing all my logins and passwords so I don't have to keep resetting them. If I forget username or password of LastPass as well, then their support team helps me reset it by sending me a password reset link. In this way, my business processes are never interrupted due to login issues and I don't have to write my passwords anywhere.

Nachteile:

There are couple of challenges I face when using the LastPass for Business software to manage by usernames and passwords. Firstly, I have to spend a portion of my budget to get access to the software. Secondly, its password is not easy to create because it has to meet a complex criteria of having a mix of numbers, alphabets, specials characters and at-least 14 characters long. If I forget it and reset, then I have to create a new one which is not the same as old one. Finally, if i forget my LassPast password as well as my email password, I won't be able to reset it on my own because I can't access support's reset email.
