Vorteile:

Einfache Bedienung Viele Sicherehitsmechanismen in einer Software vereint Kompetenter, schneller Support in Deutsch Optional in der Cloud verwaltbar ( selbst oder gegen Aufpreis bei Eset gehostet )

Nachteile:

Preis könnte im Vergleich etwas niedriger Sein

Praxisgeschlagene Toplösung im Bereich Sicherheit

Kommentare: Verwendung seit Jahren im Unternehmen. Sicherheit der Systeme bisher gewährleitet. Wirkt sich nich Leistungsmindernd auf die Peripherie aus. Wenn es einen Hinweis gibt, ist es auch ein Hinweis und keine Möglickeit einer Bedrohung.

Vorteile:

Diese Sicherheitslösung gibt es langjährig auf dem Markt und ist in Verwandung unkompliziert und skalierbar.

Nachteile:

Man hat tatsächlich zu viele benutzerdefinierte Einstellmöglichkeiten.

Gute additive Endpoint-Absicherung in kleinen Unternehmen

Kommentare: Einfache Installation und ein hilfreiches Dashboard zur Kontrolle der abgesicherten Geräte. Die Anwender sind zufrieden und fühlen sich abgesichert.

Vorteile:

Die Absicherung der Endgeräte ist wirksam. Mehrere Android-Geräte wurden vor Angriffen gehärtet. Die Installation ist einfach und auch durch IT-unerfahrene Mitarbeiter durchführbar. Wir setzen die Software auf Windows-PC und auf Android-Geräten ein. Von Anwendern werden sehr selten Probleme berichtet, die den Eingriff eines Administrators erforderlich machten.

Nachteile:

Die Konfiguration von Ausnahmeregeln für die ESET Firewall ist etwas umständlich und kann m.W. nicht automatisiert werden.

Nachteile:

Die Preis/Leistung könnte etwas besser sein.

Vorteile:

Schützt unsere PCs und Notebooks vor Viren und Schadsoftware. Das Programm ist schnell und zuverlässig.

Nachteile:

Preislich mehr an der Konkurrenz orientieren.

Good protection without slowing down computer

Vorteile:

Stops a lot of malware sites. Blocks malware popups and does not slow down the computer

Nachteile:

Easy to set up. Almost plug and play and does not ask for weird permissions

Kommentare: Features like vulnerability remediation, next-gen antivirus, browser security, remote desktop management, endpoint security and Identity and access management are quite beneficial to me. Great job.

Vorteile:

For many years, we had been looking for a solution that integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure and offer robust threat detection capabilities. A friend introduced me to ESET and my problem was solved. We have tested and implemented this cyber security software for years and it is excellent. Comes with AI powered insights and customizable dashboard.

Nachteile:

The only challenge I have seen is that new users may find it challenging to get accustomed to all the features which should improve with time.

Good for the price but I am tempted to try more expensive options

Kommentare: Good price point compared to other products but I have been left wanting as I have had a few issue with Eset

Great Price compared to other products on the market and the UI is very intuitive

Nachteile:

Installers have to be updated very often. When something fails it does not give you great detail on what went wrong

Prevents devices from being infected

Kommentare: It supports more than one device for example smartphone, laptop and desktop on a single license.

Vorteile:

This endpoint security is able to detect identify and analyze and I incoming malware on a device and it did not find the user to take action immediately before the device is being infected.

Nachteile:

I love this endpoint because all of them comes in one package of ESET PROTECT.

What we experts are raving about ESET.

Kommentare: Super simple to set-up, upgrade and use.

Vorteile:

I get the most innovative technologies that predict, prevent and most importantly detects every threats in the system. It is quite up-to-date making it perfect for fighting latest cyber threats.

Nachteile:

Before I implemented ESET, my devices were getting slower and slower by the day. I can only point out improvements in my way of doing things.

Eset endpoint is a one stop shop product.

Kommentare: Have not had any major threats on equipment using this product. When there are threats to be concerned with, the alerting and ways of dealing with it are straight forward to a quick resolution.

Vorteile:

Scalability. Portal is easy to navigate and a lot of good information and reports at my fingertips.

Nachteile:

Initial setup was a little bit confusing but once all setup it's pretty much hands off.

Improved but still missing some features compared with others

Kommentare: It is an excellent option for companies with other security solutions for correlating security info (something like SIEM or MDR services) mainly for the excellent price-feature relation.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and implement, in the last two years it has been improved a lot, making it more suitable for enterprise use.

Nachteile:

It still lacks some features that other competitors have, like complete integration with other security solutions like firewalls, network security devices, etc.

ESET - One of the best in the industry

Kommentare: Very positive. It is genuinely one of the best products in their sector.

Vorteile:

Very good product. Low impact to the endpoint being protected and always independently reviewed as one of the best products in terms of protecting against spam, false positives and phishing attacks

Nachteile:

Nothing. Great partner network to acquire the licesing.

Effective enterprise security solution

Kommentare: Good. Little if no complaints from users, and despite the "cons" listed, it is still a good product

Vorteile:

Robust security solution, great replacement compared to Kaspersky

Nachteile:

In a VDI instant clones environment, we've come across numerous glitches in the admin center, mainly with not all user PCs showing up.

Pain in the butt

Kommentare: I installed it to get some malware off my computer and ended up getting a whole mess.

Vorteile:

I really didn't like that much of this application.

Nachteile:

I didn't like that once I didn't want it anymore It took me weeks to get it completely off of my laptop

Secure by Design

Kommentare: Antivirus software is non-negotiable, so anything that makes it easier to manage across a network is welcome. Having used Bit Defender and Sophos in the past, ESET Endpoint Security compares well. In terms of detection and security, they all tend to perform similarly, so the choice comes down to manageability - ESET works well in this respect.

Vorteile:

ESET Endpoint Security is a full-featured cloud-based security suite that monitors my Windows endpoints in real-time, allowing me to monitor them all remotely, wherever they are in the world. I like being able to control, update, reboot and monitor them from the comfort of my desk.

Nachteile:

Because it's so feature-rich, ESET Endpoint Security can be quite an involved deployment. Distributing the agent and applications to my endpoints using Active Directory was fairly tricky but once set up just works.

Leading Traditional Antiviruses

Vorteile:

A program that I have been using for years that does not tire the system and is equipped with new features.

Nachteile:

It is caught between traditional antiviruses and EDR technology. It must now evolve to EDR.

A Warranty

Kommentare: The overall experience is very positive. I was easily able to configure all my colleagues' PCs by disabling all user functions and managing all services remotely.

Vorteile:

ESET Endpoint Security is a very reliable system and very easy to use. Administrators have no difficulty in both configuration and deployment.

Nachteile:

From my experience as a system administrator, the product does not have any type of difficulty or critical issue.

The best among traditional antiviruses

Vorteile:

It has low hardware resource consumption, I have been using it for 10 years. Even though it is a traditional antivirus, it winks at EDRs with its various modules.

Nachteile:

I am generally satisfied. However, their prices are now high compared to traditional antiviruses.

Reliable protection

Kommentare: ESET helps us keep our devices safe and does not slow them. It is relatively easy to use compared to other similar solutions. It serves its purpose despite a few false alerts.

Vorteile:

It protects devices from threats such as viruses, malware, and phishing. It rarely gives false alerts or disturbs you when working. I also like the control panel.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it seems too quiet you might think you don't have an active antivirus. Other times it gives false warnings, though not too common. Regardless, we are yet to experience any attacks with ESET in place.

Bit annoying but with good features

Vorteile:

Eset provides best protection to your PC by its file protection, network protection etc.

Nachteile:

Bit annoying software because it always show plenty of notification even if for very simple operations

Among the best EPP for a company

Kommentare: So far it has blocked hacking attempts by a group of citizens, it offsets its cost.

Vorteile:

The best thing is the perception of RAM and GPU consumption, it is low so it does not limit the actions and allows to continue with other activities.

Nachteile:

The cost is high, so it is aimed at large companies or public entities. It also requires an initial configuration with specialized labor, it is not intuitive at the beginning.

ESET, for you computer security

Kommentare: I have been using it for a long time, I personally find it very useful because I am always downloading documents from my students or from separate places to access recent knowledge.

Vorteile:

Easy computer integration. Software that always protects you from the background. Very useful if you receive downloads from many places.

Nachteile:

It slows down some computational processes, mainly the startup, since it must always be activated while the computer is on.
