What I like most about Viral Loops is its flexibility. It’s adaptable enough to let you create your own campaign pages or use their built-in templates, giving you control based on your preferences. The platform also offers an API, which allows for deeper customisation and integrations. I’ve been able to use it to create multiple leaderboards, and it has fulfilled most of my campaign needs.

Nachteile:

One area for improvement is the ability to pass user information after completing a quiz to automatically fill in the leaderboard form. Although this feature is not yet available, the team at Viral Loops has been responsive and is working on addressing this limitation, which I appreciate.

However, the positive impression quickly evaporated as I realized that the promises made during the sales pitch were not aligned with the reality of the service. The functionality I expected was only available in a higher-tier plan, a crucial detail that was not transparently communicated upfront. This disparity felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, leaving me feeling misled and dissatisfied. The breaking point came when, despite assurances of a credit due to the prolonged delay in the referral program setup, I found myself charged for a service that did not deliver as advertised. This breach of trust, coupled with the unmet promises, reflects poorly on Viral Loops as a service provider. Attempting to discontinue my association with Viral Loops proved to be another source of frustration. While the customer representatives were amiable, the company's requirement of navigating through a survey, which does not directly lead to cancellation, and subsequently having to send an email to request termination, added unnecessary complexity to the process. In summary, my overall experience with Viral Loops has been marred by misrepresentation, unmet promises, and a lack of transparency. The commendable demeanor of the customer representatives is overshadowed by the company's failure to deliver on its commitments, ultimately leading to my decision to sever ties with Viral Loops.

The fact that we were charged despite the service not living up to its advertised functionality is, in my opinion, an unacceptable business practice. As I contemplate canceling my association with Viral Loops, it's worth mentioning a notable downside to the cancellation process. Even though the customer representatives were amiable, the company requires users to go through a survey when attempting to cancel. Unfortunately, this survey does not lead directly to cancellation, necessitating the additional step of writing an email to request termination. This additional hurdle in the cancellation process only adds to the frustrations, reinforcing my decision to part ways with Viral Loops.

Viral Loops Gets the Job Done

Kommentare: Viral Loops gets the job done. I've built an Affiliate Program using their software and am generally satisfied. The major drawback when using the Viral Loops landing pages has been that when you create an Affiliate Program Sign Up Form vs. the separate Sign Up for Service Form (i.e. the form linked to the unique affiliate link) is that both forms must be identical. I am not able to have 1 form with respective questions and more relevant questions when individuals sign up for service using the unique referral code.

Vorteile:

The ability to create custom forms and landing pages for individuals signing up for and referring to our Affiliate Program.

Nachteile:

Customer Service response time was 50/50 on getting a timely response vs. waiting for over a week to hear from someone.

No way to stop bots (but that's not their fault and they have good measures in place to let you know when they are not real)

Great Product For Sweepstakes Campaigns

Kommentare: My overall experience has been very good. Thanos and the support team are very responsive via chat support. I would gladly recommend Viral-Loops to anyone looking for a product to help support sweepstakes or other referral related marketing initiative.

Vorteile:

I used the Viral Loops product to run sweepstakes/giveaways to generate leads. The widgets for this were easy to integrate into our own site to execute the sweepstakes events.

Nachteile:

Occasionally, when new release rolls out there might a little glitch in the portal functionality but I've never had issues with the sweepstakes widget itself.

Recommend Viral Loops!

Vorteile:

Viral Loops' native integrations made it easy to connect with our CRM and Analytics. The two different widgets- form or pop up- also made it easy to add to our website.

Nachteile:

It kept blocking our login attempts when we attempted to test out the form in quick succession

Great product and experience

Kommentare: The overall experience, as I previously stated, was good. I will use it again because they have it well optimised for every case. It's really good for growth.

Vorteile:

I liked the most about Viral Loops the fact that it's so easy to use and the efficiency of every campaign. Everything is optimised and the customer support has been great so far (thanks [sensitive content hidden]).

Nachteile:

The fact that I have to write an email for subscription downgrade, but I kinda understand it from a marketing & sales perspective.

Vorteile:

We love the way Viral Loops integrates with our other systems. The support we receive is always good. They also label participants with a fraud warning high-low, so that's a nice feature.

Nachteile:

I wish the data was more customizable within the dashboard and that exports were possible within individual participants and for all participants over certain periods of time.

Vorteile:

It was invaluable in us setting up a referral programme and very quickly supercharged the launch that we were faciliating online. The link to MailChimp made everything automatic and it was easy to set up.

Nachteile:

Some of the design settings in the form creation were complicated to understand at first, but when we spoke to Customer Service, they made everything very easy for us and were always on hand if we needed anything.

Kommentare: Fairly good so far, we have yet to get everything working but we've decided to go with a paid plan.

The UI is pretty self explanatory and the API is fairly easy to understand

I found the documentation of the API lacking in detail.

Start-Up referral marketing

Kommentare: It's a great, simple platform to set up and start using, but a couple of things can be done to improve experience for the entry-level plans.

Vorteile:

I've been using Viral Loops to build a waitlist for my start-up, and have found it the best platform from the perspective of its interface UI, and its shareable features. It's the most modern, sleek looking referral platform with options to integrate into your existing site design. The shareability features (link, emails, WhatsApp etc) is also the most user-friendly, easy to use and uptake.

Nachteile:

The price is quite high (I'm in AUS so the conversion from USD to AUD isn't ideal) and they've recently changed their base plan which has removed some of the core features I was using.

They have different pre-set templates which are quite flexible and quick to set up. They have sufficient customized fields, social media sharing features, and email reminders which I think are very useful. Most importantly, the cost is also reasonable

Nachteile:

It took some time to set up the DNS for sending emails from our own domains. We spent several hours during the weekend chatting with their technical team to configure all the technical settings. The process is manual and not ideal.

Kommentare: Love the experience thus far with the tool and chat support. Have been a client with getwaitlist for a 2 months and am fed up with their customer support. So I moved to viral loops and its amazing. I am daily with customer support - learning a platform, and they are very helpful

Some features are not stable, manual import yet did not figure it out to work.

Delightfully intuitive

Kommentare: We want to use it to help raise brand awareness as we launch new venues across the country.

Vorteile:

It is intuitive and clever. The flows are simple and easy to follow. It isn't hard to figure out how to get exactly what you want.

Nachteile:

I don't understand the lack of 'seats' that feels counterintuitive. Given the functionality I would want to be able to invite a colleague/my team to collaborate - that said, I probably wouldn't want to pay for it.
