Kommentare: The apify service is very useful and convenient. It is also flexible and customizable. Thanks to this service, I was able to easily set up parsing of some Instagram pages, as well as websites. The most important thing is getting data from apify via API. Thanks to this, I was able to create my own telegram bot that receives data and translates it into another language via the neural network API.

Vorteile:

I liked the large set of ready-made actors, their flexible configuration and the ability to easily obtain data via API, as well as the availability of renewable credits to try the service played a decisive role in my choice.

Nachteile:

The only thing I didn't like was that you can't buy as many credits as you need. Instead, you have to buy the minimum plan, which is too much for my needs.

Nachteile:

- Customer support is worst nightmare with them - Pricing is unfair (They even don't have clarification on how you billed certain amount) - It has bugs which are lasting months even after reporting. Actor gets stuck forever causing you billing - Reporting is not integrated part of dashboard

I think Apify is an incredible platform!

Kommentare: Once I found it and figured out how it worked I was able to dump my US$600 a month Pitchbox software and get 10x the amount of marketing emails for 1/10th the cost.

Vorteile:

I can easily, quickly and cheaply scrape the web for marketing emails. Its so good I cannot believe how good it is. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

Nachteile:

There isn't anything I dislike about Apify.

The most powerful/flexible web scraping platform

Kommentare: Apify is an indispensable part of my tech stack. Their platform is both the easiest and most powerful web scraping tool.

Vorteile:

Apify is incredibly powerful, yet flexible. There are virtually no limits to what web scraping tools you can build using it.

Nachteile:

For non-developers like myself, there is a learning curve. Easier error codes for non-technical users like myself would help me build actors much quicker.

Data scraping without pain

Vorteile:

1) ease of integration 2) ui where all is easily available 3) maintenance - the fact that containers i use are always up to date made me abandon my own custom scripts 4) magic proxy management - this is the last thing i want to do manually or even think about, and yet it is the most crucial part

Nachteile:

Not actually an apify problem, but i have a couple of usecases where i really would have wanted a fast responce which i'm not entirely sure how to achieve now.

Apify enabled us to work on what's important and I love it for it

Kommentare: Apify has been a great business partner to us. The platform has allowed us to quickly develop web scrapers that can bypass anti-bot defences and are scaleable. This saves a lot of work and enables us to focus on the business logic and not on the repetitive tasks around the business logic.

Vorteile:

Apify offers a robust platform that streamlines web scraping, making it effortless to scale and navigate anti-bot defences. The documentation is thorough, and the support team is both responsive and knowledgeable. After using it daily for over six months, I can confidently say it integrates seamlessly into any workflow. On Apify, scrapers are referred to as "actors" and are straightforward to implement—especially once you've built a few. After writing two or three, the process becomes intuitive and highly efficient.

Nachteile:

It's the best out there, so it's hard to talk about the things I don't like. Either way, I'd love to see a couple of features that will save some time if present. I'm glad to say that I've already contacted Apify about them and one is already in their pipeline!

Ease with which I can develop new APIs and start earning from those.

Nachteile:

Their developer analytics is not at all good, no clear analytics about the costs and its usage.

Kommentare: I have been satisfied with my level of progress since using this software as i can easily get any data needed at any given time. Extraction of high volume of data has been made easy to do with this platform.

Vorteile:

Easy to use with a user friendly interface. I can easily get any sort of data using this software as extraction of huge volume of data from different sources could be done easily with this powerful tool so i can easily get the data i need at any time when needed.

Nachteile:

A reduction in the price will be appreciated to enable more access. Apart from this no cons.

Data scraping tools heaven - highly recommended

Kommentare: I’ve been using it for work for the past year and it has been a great data base for my scraping tools I need for work. Some were free other with fees but overall it has been a great experience for a really decent price.

Vorteile:

A wide choice of scraping tools from a wide choice of developpers. Really helpful for my work of data analysis. Developpers offer a lot of tools for almost everything you need to analyze.

Nachteile:

Some tools are way too expensive but developers are the ones to blame. I guess it depends on the layer of depth you need for your scraping tool.

Extracting data from websites is easy with Apify.

Kommentare: It saves us time from web scraping since the whole process is done automatically, our data flow is very good, we improve our business objectives because we have the help of Apify.

I like how easy it is to extract data from different web pages, the templates are very good, the system works smoothly, the proxy service is excellent, the automated web scraping is very effective.

Nachteile:

At first we thought that the configuration would be complicated, but it was not, since the whole process was carried out as normal.

Easily parse websites

Kommentare: Easily find existing parsers and modify them or use their marketplace to hire (we did) freelance developers to create new parsers. Very fast solution overall.

Vorteile:

The ease of use. In a very short period of time we had several parsers up & running and did not have to "worry" about the normal aspects (starting up servers, proxies, etc) of parsing.

Nachteile:

I struggle with finding something I did not like about apify. We replaced several parsing projects that were "nightmares" using other tools and so our experience with apify was very pleasant.

- Grouping of tasks/actors should be there (Imagine account with 500 tasks) - Monitoring dashboard should be enhanced as built in feature (Imagine monitoring 500 tasks)

Apify is a lead webscraping platform

Kommentare: Apify allows to set up scrapers for getting solid data from various resources such as websites, APIs in any kind of convenient format: excel/csv/HTML tables, JSON, pdf etc. Also, this is a great tool for making automation workers. A cool web interface also adds a lot of cool features for visualizing all this stuff along with extensive API possibilities

Vorteile:

Apify platform provides a very versatile and wide range of services for web scraping. A strong and convenient SDK, cool web UI for visualising datasets, communication with clients/developers, scrapers overview and configuration etc.

Nachteile:

From a dev perspective, I'd say that it's high time for Apify team to organize all the SDK best-practice materials for overcoming website anti-scraping technologies into some kind of a separate documentation block.

Easiest way to scalable scraping

Vorteile:

Apify seems to be by far the most advanced scraping platform. They have ready-made web crawlers and we can also build our own or get a custom scraper from Apify. Their documentation is also very comprehensive and support team is responsive. It is our one-stop shop for web scraping needs. We've built several applications for our own or for clients use.

Nachteile:

Nothing comes to mind, perhaps notifications about proxies could be less annoying.

Quick to use and shred

Nothing really i had a great time using Apify it is on another level hence has not yet found anything to state as a dislike

Apify simplifies building and using crawlers and scrapers

Kommentare: I'm working on a project that scrapes data from a few major listing sites. Without Apify, I'd need to build custom scraping programs or use much more expensive web automation tools.

Vorteile:

The most useful thing so far has been the "store", which lets you use scrapers others have built. They are also verified by Apify so you don't get shoddy results. For a recent project, the store had solutions I could use instantly without coding anything. When the store has an actor that fits your use case, you can save a huge amount of time and money. When there's not a built-in solution for you, you'll need to spend a day learning how to use their all-purpose web scraper and write your own. Thankfully, the process is straightforward and should be quick for most folks with development experience.

Nachteile:

Some of the "actors" available in the store haven't been reliable. 1 of the 5 I've used so far doesn't seem to work and the developer hasn't responded to my issue. The documentation also feels a bit sparse, though it's not too bad.

Proxy Nightmares no more, data extraction with the click of a button.

Vorteile:

My favorite part about apify is the proxy management and rotation. Traditionally this is a nightmare for me and I love the completely managed proxy rotation and management.

Nachteile:

The pricing is a little bit high. I wish that I could access the pay as you go pricing of actors/proxies without having to pay for a $50/month subscription.

It's made our job much easier as most of what we do revolves around tracking our campaigns and how they are performing. So it's much better than going in & individually recording data on each video we work with. Now we get results in minutes and have plugged it into our database so our dashboard can update with newest data & clients know how their campaigns are progressing daily!

Nachteile:

It's not the easiest to understand at first. A colleague of mine who is more familiar with tech & data was able to figure it out but for the rest of us, it's not as easy to understand the functions/how to make things work at first.

Makes web automation a piece of cake

Kommentare: As a developer, I probably can't imagine a better tool that balances the power and flexibility with the ease of use. Also, taking into account the great customer support, it makes it one of the best services I have ever tried.

Vorteile:

Apify lets you focus on developing the core functionality without the need to manage any infrastructure. The API is really awesome in that it lets you integrate with other tools easily (either directly or via tools like Zapier or Integromat). And using webhooks, you can chain actors to build even more sophisticated data pipelines.

Nachteile:

There were a couple of moments where I couldn't find the information I was looking for in the documentation and had to find out using trial and error.
