It's difficult to slate the platform considering the price point - Lucky Orange is by far the most affordable (and probably best value for money) heatmapping tool out there.
Its a little bit difficult to learn but as all applications you can learn it.

Excellent Qualitative Analysis Tool

Its good but could be better
Kommentare: It was great when we first started using it; provided us with much-needed insight. But with the change in pricing and lack of product improvements, it's hard to justify the monthly cost.

Very Useful Software

A super helpful tool — even in the free version. Get it.
Kommentare: Great. Set up is very easy and intuitive as is the interface. I think that even the free plan will help a lot of people get a sense of how their sites are working. I've only had it for a few weeks and I already know I need to make some changes based on Lucky Orange's feedback.
Vorteile:
Lucky Orange lets me see where visitors have been and what interests them most. I'm reworking my user-flow so this tool is super helpful in determining what users gravitate towards.
Nachteile:
I run a small one-person consultancy and the 5000 sessions (smallest tier) is still way more than I imagine will ever visit my site. A lower tier paid plan would be appreciated. Like maybe $10/mth for 1500 sessions?

Nice UI. I appreciate dynamic heat maps. Some features not intuitive.

pretty nice. I haven't used the paid version long term because I'm cheap.
I would like to have more control over what displays in my dashboard, since I am not using parts of the product, and I just have to bypass it to find the nested info I want to find.

I dont like the difficulty in finding things. The IA or taxonomy are things I need to memorize, rather than intuit.

Great product, but I wish there was more.
Kommentare: 90% Positive, I'm left wanting more often than not as we have far too many platforms doing too many things. If there was say a in-built way to marry up orders placed on a e-commerce site to the recording of their journey through the site that would be the best case scenario for us.

The customer support uses in heatmaps and live chat are the key reasons for us to purchase Lucky Orange.
Nachteile:
The pre-made integrations for Bigcommerce seem to leave us wanting. The support and developer docs feel stale and lacking also. The support team itself was very helpful when I had to reach out to them, I'm referring specifically about the support docs at https://help-preview.luckyorange.com/ as all the answers are rather generic.

I find Lucky Orange incredibly user friendly. Not only that but it’s super informative with the most critical info needed to run my business. The visitor recordings are SO helpful and have informed multiple changes on my website.

Very eye-opening experience

I mainly use customers' purchase behavior and heat maps, which allows to improve and make the website more shopper friendly.

I wish there were tutorials how to analyze all data you get from LO, so you dont need to hire anybody to analiz the data.

Great insight for user behaviours

The stats the website can provide, as in total views, where they come from, and the different segmentation it can provide (by time, by location, by browser, etc)
Nachteile:
The learning curve so far has been a bit steeper than expected. It's not a bad thing per se, but to truly make the most of the analytics it provides requires time and effort and even then I am a bit unsure if I am underutilizing the tool.

Lucky Orange Is A Solid Choice
Vorteile:
Lucky Orange has the most attractive UI of any of its competitors, and your ability to tag things via their visual viewer is really nice.
Nachteile:
It can't do all that much when you really boil it down. Microsoft Clarity can do all of the same things and is free. Sometimes Lucky Orange also lets UI get in the way of functionality.

An initial assessment of Lucky Orange

In a quick review I found LO to be the most insightful tool to teach me how to optimize my website. Now that I am embarking on a joint project with Google, it is the first place I went to help me track and understand progress.
Nachteile:
None, there is more functionality than I know how to use at the moment so heavily dependent on support, who have been great.

It's easy to set up and the 'Visitors Overview' has a pretty clear overview.
