Very nice app for offline and online events - you can find here everything you need - private accounts, chats, meetups, groups, announcements, icebrakers, etc. The app is full of features for any idea you might have.

Nachteile:

That did not found out about the app earlier :)

Whova Review

Kommentare: Overall, user friendly and allows us to very collaborative with attendees.

Vorteile:

You can have multiple chat groups and live communication alerts to attendees.

Nachteile:

Printing of ticket and registration tiers.

Beware of Use

Kommentare: We will not be using this app again and I recommend that others don't use it either. The sales folks are very much about the upgrades and will nickel and dime you for every small add on. The help desk folks try to be helpful, but are up against the tremendous limitations of the system. This is overall a product that is engineered to make money rather than support the success of the users. We knew this going in and were happy to pay for some add ons, but others were not communicated at all at any point during the process much less in any help or FAQ documents.

Vorteile:

While there are some pros, the cons by far overshadow anything good about this app. I was excited to use Whova as I used it as an attendee for other events. However, from the admin side, things are not as pleasant.

Nachteile:

There are many features that cannot be turned off. There are emails that go out to attendees without notice. Definitions vary from the proposal stage to the implementation stage: a speaker is also considered an attendee, although they may not attend and just need to be listed on the paper presentation. The most frequent response from their Help Desk begins with "Unfortunately..."

Whova Review

Kommentare: Our end users love the app. From an admin perspective, I love the ease of set up. Now that we are a few conferences in, we're able to leverage previous conference info to build content for the new conference. LOVE THAT!!

Vorteile:

I love the engagement and set up is very easy

Nachteile:

It's sometimes challenging getting the right image sizes on the back end. However, it is very helpful that you provide what size they need to be. But, I end up doing a lot of editing and resizing outside of Whova to get the images right.

Whova Great Application

Kommentare: Excellent Experience, I would like to use it again in the future.

Vorteile:

It was an easy app to access and navigate. Liked how I was able to personalize it with a profile picture and information about myself to share with other participants and presenters. Liked how participants were able to interact with polls and questions presented by the presenter rather than having to blurt out responses. Liked how I was able to select what presentation I wanted to attend and converted it to my agenda/schedule for the day. The Map was helpful. I liked how we are able to post pictures. Excellent App to use.

Nachteile:

No negative responses. Overall great app to use.

Great program for mobile meetings

Kommentare: The layout was very user friendly, even for first time user like me. It was convenient on my mobile. Many different options for the different types of meetings.

Vorteile:

This program seemed very easy to use both from my laptop and on my cell phone.

Nachteile:

Not sure at this point in time if I can remember anything specific I did not like.

Vorteile:

Whova's mobile app is incredibly easy to navigate for first-time users. And there are so many interactive features for attendees that give event coordinators insight into their attendees' engagement and satisfaction levels.

Nachteile:

Finding my specific event within the entire Whova landscape.

Information Galore!

Kommentare: It is a great tool! Whova support is amazing. I had an issue getting into a class, they had me in before I find the email fixing it.

Vorteile:

Being able to join a session easily from the agenda Whova support is amazing Love all the support materials

Nachteile:

I was confused about the "meet ups", how to participant and when they were I could find the listings. Not Whova's issue, but I wish I would have known that I could get certification

Level Up Your Conference or Event with Whova

Kommentare: I attend dozens of conferences each year and this is by far the best event app I've used. It invites each attendee to engage in meaningful ways and makes it easy for event organizers to provide updates, link to session resources, and spotlight speakers.

Vorteile:

This is my favorite conference app, I absolutely loved how the display made it easy to find sessions and connect with attendees.

Nachteile:

When I first downloaded the app I received too many notifications, however I was quickly able to change my settings.

My Experience with Whova

Kommentare: I love the app and will take some time to learn more about it.

Vorteile:

I only experience some of the registration aspect and I was really happy with the app. I liked the fact that I could check in registrants at the same time they collected their badges and paraphernalia. It allowed me to see who was not checked in. Overall it made the registration process an ease. I was able to find the session agenda for each day and this made it quite easy to direct the registrants to the correct rooms for their sessions.

Nachteile:

I did not delve to much into the app to give an opinion.

Great Solution (especially for the price)!

Kommentare: Overall, I highly recommend Whova. In spite of some of the challenges, it is still one of the strongest tools available for the cost, and is very user-friendly. Their customer service is very helpful, and the product does continue to improve.

Vorteile:

Whova has a wealth of features for a very low cost. It is a great solution for a clean, user-friendly registration system and app, that is still friendly to budgets. The app specifially is very easy to set up and use and has great engagement tools!

Nachteile:

The back end system has a few quirks that take time to learn, and can be a little frustrating if you don't recognize them in advance. The menu system and where tools are located for admins can be a little confusing, though once you learn it, they are easy to use. Our biggest challenge is managing attendee records after they have registered; it would be nice if admins had more options for changing and updating their info, or using "admin-only" fields. Similarly, the difference in "attendees" vs. "registrants" can cause confusion.

My experience with the Whova App

Kommentare: I am excited and happy for the opportunity to have used this app. It is such a relief concerning event planning and management.

Vorteile:

Whova offers opportunities for planning and networking. In the 2024 TBT symposium, I was able to create my schedule from the main agenda and included networking opportunities with other participants based on where we studied and worked. I had a plan of which session I needed to attend and the room numbers where I needed to be. I am also happy with the possibility of taking notes under each session in the agenda.

Nachteile:

I realized that I had many emails from using the app.

Kommentare: Looking forward to it remaining a tool for Hypno Thoughts Live! Cause this Hypnotist, Mitzi Egnatz, Loved meeting Hypnotists from around the world and
re-engaged with precious Hypnotist friends making my heart sing!

Vorteile:

Allows me to see who in my Industry I have something in common with or can learn something valuable from. Loved that are opportunities to schedule several meet ups that allowed for details. Made for fun after hour gatherings.

Nachteile:

There ought to be a way where the price point is enticing enough to remain live 365 days a year.

Coach Camp 2024 via Whova

Vorteile:

The Whova app simplified my experience at coach camp. I knew about meet-ups I could attend with colleagues. Reserving a spot for a session was just a touch away on my phone. In conjunction with the app, I received emails from the organizers. The emails included information from agenda to items people lost.

Nachteile:

I did not participate in the social part of the app. It was a personal choice as I attended with a group I planned to be with.

Ease of usage

Kommentare: I would give it an 8, just for the length of time it took me to find the sign-on page.

Vorteile:

The quality of video, the sound and color is very clear and rich. Assigning self to the workshops and a visual of my agenda was useful. The sign on was difficult from remote location as I connected through my work email. In the past an email was sent with the link, click, sign on and connect.

Nachteile:

How we signed on to the meeting. We had to go to a website, and find meeting and sign in with matching a picture.

Excellent platform for symposiums and conferences without leaving home.

Kommentare: Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the best part is that you can watch the recordings later to review them better.

Vorteile:

1-It is an easy-to-use and very intuitive platform. 2-It is free 3-Not only can you convene small symposia, but you could also convene an entire conference.

Nachteile:

It would be great if presentations (recordings) could be separated by speakers instead of sessions. Otherwise, I would have to watch the entire 40-minute session when I am only interested in a 10-minute presentation, which is in the middle of the recording.

FACTS - Elevate _ Atlanta 2024

Kommentare: Loved it. Was able to utilize the app for all of my trainings and if I did not wish to lug my laptop around, it had everything I needed at my fingertips. Also allowing me to access the notes, handouts, presentations and participate in the Q&A without my computer.

Vorteile:

Loved that everything I needed for the conference was at my fingertips whether I used the App or the Website.

Nachteile:

Nothing. Every aspect of the website and app worked great.

Whova makes my life easier!

Kommentare: I attend other conferences online throughout the year, and the Whova App is the only app where I feel as though I am actually at the conference. The chatting between colleagues, the question boards, and chat rooms all give a connected feel that I cannot get with any other conference app. Thank you!!

Vorteile:

It is very user- friendly and easy to figure out. When I am stuck, I can get help easily and quickly.

Nachteile:

My experience with Whova is limited to the National SCL Conference. I have no complaints at all with the Whova app. It gave me everything I needed to attend the conference and experience the benefits it offered. My only regret is that the SCL does not offer all of its workshops on the Whova app, so I have to be happy with limited options. I imagine this is probably due to the cost of streaming or recording the workshops, so they probably have to limit what is offered. It would be nice to be able to access all of the workshops.

Good app for events

Kommentare: It was great to use for the event. It showed the events, vendors, and attendees.

Vorteile:

I liked Whova for the SHRM conference because it showed me the scheduled events, vendors and attendees.

Nachteile:

I didn't have any problems with the app.

Kommentare: Fabulous! Easy to read; easy to use; easy to engage.

Vorteile:

Having all information in a single place to access. The ability to access from my phone. Information was updated in real-time, so I was never behind on an update.

Nachteile:

It may have been User Error, but I couldn't get my sessions to sort in date/start time order.

Whova for Conference

Kommentare: Very helpful app for our event, it was great having an event timetable and list of attendees available on your phone. Lots of information at your fingertips

Vorteile:

Having the agenda and it being tied into sessions and being able to give feedback is great

Nachteile:

Not being able to go to replies instantly

I miss having the Whova community after the event.

Kommentare: Had a blast. I was honestly worried about not having it when I got home.

Vorteile:

I actually enjoyed the connection that Whova offered. At first I was very hesitant. thought it was a gimmick or a novelty item. But after connecting with a few people in the chat or messages, I real started to enjoy it. I also met up with some people in person. It drove me to connect in ways that I wouldn't normally wouldn't.

Nachteile:

It took me a while to figure out the how to navigate it... but I also don't pay attention to on screen instructions or prompts. So that could have been my own doing...

Useful Easy Conference App!

Kommentare: Great app. Loved the expanded desktop version to see photos and other information from the conference. I've used other apps while attending conferences, and this one was one of the best.

Vorteile:

This app made it easy to attend my conference. The reminders for sessions I wanted to attend could come through the app, or could be easily downloaded into Outlook.

Nachteile:

It was difficult locating attendees. I would have liked to see a filter by company so I could find colleagues easier.
