Great for Cross-country bike ride.

Kommentare: We have struggled in finding a good app to use for our events to communicate with thousands of people across the country.

Vorteile:

We love the ability to post many events and ease to provide event updates.

Nachteile:

Sometimes our imports get a little tedious to be able to manipulate the information for our events.

A fantastic Addition to a Conference

Kommentare: Love it and when I share with my clients, they to love all the capabilities it offers especially for the price.

Vorteile:

This program was easy to use and really liked that on each page you add to the right side it gives an example of how that page is used.

Nachteile:

It would be nice if under the schedule, when you list a speaker that either there was a more button or something to indicate click here so you can see their contact, and bio. The way it shows now unless you accidentally clicked on it you wouldn't know. Another feature, I would pay for, would be to have the ability to pin room locations under the schedule to a map.

User friendly, efficient, easy access during event

Kommentare: We printed less trip booklets this year (only for older leaders) and saved some money and time on preparing trip information. We've used it for 4-5 years now for our events and it's really been worth the money to all all event or trip info in one easy accessible location on your mobile app. The customer service has been great and the response time is within hours or a day.

Vorteile:

Yapp mobile app is user friendly for the staff setting it up, efficient use of staff time, and helps manage info for your group at an event. I like that participant information can be uploaded all at once via CSV files, time saver!

Nachteile:

We have to purchase a certain amount of apps in order to get the discount. We do not ever use all the apps but its cheaper to purchase the higher package. Maybe come up with a mid price discount or a discount for loyal customers? But this is a pricing suggestion, not a "like least" about software features.

Inspiriting for collaboration and teamwork

Kommentare: They have good services with a limited free trial available which is great.

Vorteile:

Yapp has helped enlighten our teams on the need to collaborate in service delivery. An empowered team is always my main goal. Notifications and announcements can be accessed from a central point for clarity and motivation through efficient mobile apps. Being self-generated apps, customization is easy and fruitful. Yapp does not require much knowledge and skills on coding and design.

Nachteile:

Fully satisfying. Easy to operate and user friendly. However, the price should be revisited to be lowered inorder to accommodate smaller businesses.

Great App for any [Scientific] Conference

Kommentare: Splendid - the customer service/tech support are absolutely impeccable. [sensitive content hidden], and others have always been prompt and most supportive, even when some of my too-high ideas may not have had immediate solutions. As we know, tech support can make or break a company and this one, here, is a winner!

Vorteile:

Ease of use Ability to have more complicated schedules (to include poster sessions, parallel sessions, etc.) Flexibility to add a variety of pages (speaker bio, contact, marketing, sponsor recognition, agenda, polls, event gallery, etc.) Pages with rich-text Appending PDFs within the app

Nachteile:

Loss of the Twitter/X embedding in the app Lack of ability to embed code for a JotForm survey, or a PaperTurn document, let's say (so, keeping the user in the app rather than sending them out)

Promising App for Future Events

Kommentare: The functionality of Yapp has been spot on for some of my clients, especially ones with smaller events. Yapp's customer service is one of the best parts of working with the app. Their responses are always timely, and I like that it gives you information on how long it might be if it's going to be a little bit. They've also always seemed very open to suggestions and requests from users.

Vorteile:

Yapp is incredibly user-friendly. Building it out took a little bit of exploring the first time, but I was quickly able to figure out how to build what my clients were expecting in an event app. The rich text pages allow for some good customization, and agenda and attendee uploads are streamlined and very easy to use. When the app is up and running and being used at an event, it seems to operate smoothly for attendees, and any updates I send populate quickly and easily.

Nachteile:

Although the app does allow for some visual customization, especially on the rich text pages as mentioned above, it would be nice to have more customization options on some of the other page types. It would also be nice to have the ability to insert custom code to be able to do things like embed forms without having to send people out of the app.

Yapp Review

Kommentare: I had/am having an amazing experience with Yapp. Customer service is exceptional! They always answer very quickly and get back to you with answers to any questions you have (or problems you encounter while editing your app). Shoutout to [sensitive content hidden] at Yapp for all his wonderful help! The user experience was also great. I was easily able to build my app by adding specific features. Yapp also has a help center where you can look up how to complete something (EX: how to upload attendees, overall tips & tricks, etc.)

Vorteile:

Ease of use. Yapp has templated pages to use in the app so you do not have to build anything from scratch. (EX: polls, schedule, agenda, etc.). Additionally, any time you have a change to make to your app, it is completed in real-time and after "publishing" your changes, attendees who downloaded your app will see these new changes the next time they view the app.

Nachteile:

Reporting features are good (EX: app usage, engagement stats) but I feel like a little more can be done here so administrators can dive deeper into the data to analyze.

Vorteile:

Easy to add information and customize to our needs. Easy to distribute to attendees. Cost is very competitive.

Nachteile:

Some other conference apps seem to have more features (but also cost a fair amount more).

Yapp Review

Kommentare: Overall, I had a positive experience with Yapp. It was a great tool for creating a custom event app and it provided all the features I needed to make my event a success. The app was easy to use and the customer support team was very responsive when I had questions or needed assistance. Vorteile:

I really enjoyed the user-friendly interface of Yapp. It was so easy to navigate and create my own custom app without any coding or technical skills. The drag-and-drop interface made it simple to add features like a schedule, speaker bios, and interactive maps.

Nachteile:

One thing I didn't like about Yapp was the limited customization options. While the drag-and-drop interface was easy to use, there were some design limitations that made it difficult to achieve the exact look and feel I wanted for my app.

Yapp for event

Vorteile:

Very easy to use and intuitive which is important for a small team that is new to administering a conference app. Also easy to use and intuitive for our conference attendees which this was their first time using an app at our conference.

Nachteile:

The alerts/notifications would not push to users in the app unless they had specifically gone through their phone settings to allow the notifications. I'm not sure if this is anything Yapp can do anything about, but this would be a game changer. Also, assuming Yapp can get the notifications to push to users, the ability to schedule those notifications would be fantastic. Tracking continuing education (CE) is a major missing piece for Yapp. Conference apps should be able to track users attendance at sessions as a mechanism for organizations to award CE credits.

Conference App is the bomb

Vorteile:

The schedule is terrific. Exhibitors profiles and info is good. Having speaker handouts on the schedule is a real plus!

Nachteile:

1. can't attach digital promotional advertisements to exhibitors easily 2. Schedule overview doesn't have speaker's name on it....only location 3. Hard to add a READABLE MAP (exhibit hall and classrooms) 4. Most Sponsors are Exhibitors....can't pull Exhibitor Info into Sponsors. Have to enter same info twice

Happy to have Yapp

Kommentare: Anytime there has been an issue, Yapp is fast at connecting with us and helping us out.

Vorteile:

The fact we can change anything quickly, and have information right at the fingertips for our staff and faculty.

Nachteile:

Nothing that comes to mind right now that is relevent.

Great App

Kommentare: Parents and students alike have been extremely happy with the use of the app. Keeping our stakeholder happy in even smaller things boots our performance and job satisfaction with stakeholders.

Vorteile:

Our school uses this app for the many and varied trips our school sponsors for students. We use it for students and maintain a separate one for chaperones. All events, addresses, student information and more are kept in the appropriate apps and allows us to control social media for parents to follow the trip. The customer service is extremely efficient and appreciated. Ease of use is a huge pro.

Nachteile:

Would probably like a bit more customization for event graphics on the cover

Conference App

Kommentare: This app has given us another way for our members to get information and share experiences before, during and after our conference. It has become a very valuable tool and we are very happy as a customer.

Vorteile:

This app is extremely easy to set up and manage. We were looking for a solution to offer our conference attendees that was simple to install and navigate. We use this app as a complement to our full printed program and it allows users to have the entire agenda at their fingertips and in their pockets. We use this app once a year during our annual conference. Our members love having it and the number of installs increases every year. We no longer have to print presentations as they are all accessible under each workshop session menu item. This is extremely valuable as many times there are last minute changes to not only presentations but other documents we provide as well. This app is perfect for our event and our members. We love it!

Nachteile:

It's very hard to come up with a list of things I like "least" as this pretty much meets our current needs.

Create fun and easy to use plan

Kommentare: We enjoy the ease of use and having our own app we feel sets us apart from those who are still handing out paperwork. Plus it is better for the environment!

Vorteile:

We have used the app for meetings/conventions to have all information readily available. It is easy to get a change out to all users, and we even used it for a fun scavenger hunt!

Nachteile:

It can be slow to load at times, and some experience crashing issues, but it has not been an across the board issue.

An effective way to communicate with and provide resources to a field team

Vorteile:

What I like most about Yapp is that the information we house there is easy to manage, and for our teams to use. We are able to quickly push out files and data to the team and house files for future use. This is a great tool for helping get information to a team that works remotely.

Nachteile:

I don't know of anything that I would say needs to be improved. I have used this product for many years with a couple different companies and it seems to get more streamlined and user friendly over time.

Excellent, affordable option for a non-profit!

Yapp fulfills all the features we look for, at an excellent price point, and with excellent customer service.

Nachteile:

The way the schedule with tracks is designed to be used isn't super compatible with our event format, but we make it work.

Yapp, the little app that can, and can do more

Kommentare: Yapp allows us to share event information for an overall more professional experience. Cutting down on print costs, Yapp also allows us to share program updates and changes in nearly real time. Yapp is the little app that can, and I think has more to offer in the future.

Vorteile:

In it's simple ux layout, Yapp allows for a load of event information to be shared with our program participants pretty easily with a good amount of customization, and no real need for coding or programming knowledge for the data manager . Wins!

Nachteile:

From a ui standpoint, Yapp could be a little more robust, and more api integrations for major social media platforms would put Yapp over the top. A one stop shop for participants to get the information they need, and share photos/videos/content of their program experience in Yapp that can also be pushed to their personal socials would be a big win for event participants, and those hosting.

Workplace Social Media

Kommentare: We are able to communicate more efficiently with employees and departments within our organization. I love the fact that it is similar to social media feeds. Comments and likes are great.

Vorteile:

I like the feature of the timeline, with social media being used for everything now this app makes colleagues be involved within a work setting. The notifications of new posts is great. Yapp is easy to use and very similar to other social media platforms used.

Nachteile:

I dislike the fact which we can not add more than one picture per post. Another con is not being able to upload videos or have the ability to go Live. I'd be great to have something similar to a story version of the most used social medias. We do have several departments and it would be great to have a section where videos can be posted to communicate information.

Easy Effective way to reach your attendees

Kommentare: I love using Yapp. It is easy to set up. It is easy to add information.

Vorteile:

The thing I like most about Yapp is how easy it is to set up and use.

Nachteile:

The least thing I like about Yapp is connecting people, such as attendees who are speakers and who are in the agenda. I wish they could be easily linked. I know there is a way, but it is not an easy way.

Conference App

Kommentare: It's easy to use, and ads value to our attendees. Have used it for years and don't plan to quit.

Vorteile:

It's easy to build and modify sections with their plug and play components. It's also very helpful to be able to upload items via a CSV.

Nachteile:

Wish we could use for instant polling or live Q&A that would let administrators review responses before they were seen by audience. Some users had trouble opening the app for the first time.

Yapp Software Review

Vorteile:

Easy to use and set-up. Schedule is easy to set-up.

Nachteile:

I haven't found anything that I dislike about this software.

Camp App Review

Kommentare: We keep using it year after year and haven't found a better option for what we need.
