Fantastic Hiring Platform With Qualified Applicants And Useful Dashboard Features

Kommentare: The advanced search is excellent and very useful for finding qualified candidates with certain expertise. Using cutting-edge AI techniques, finding and selecting applicants is simple. We can use this platform to post jobs.

Vorteile:

On Career Builder, sourcing and posting are much simpler than on other sites. The most effective sourcing tool for low pay rate requirements. I can use its database's advanced boolean search and keyword search to find candidates that match the job description's particular keywords and skill sets.

Nachteile:

There aren't enough experienced, highly technical profiles. Many resumes were out of date. There aren't enough qualified applicants.

Good To Source Candidates For Broad Sensed Positions

Kommentare: It helps me to close entry-level and mid-level positions. Its UI is easy to use. Its advanced search is pretty good and helps to source good quality resumes.

Vorteile:

It is a good platform to source quality resumes and job postings. It has great filters that work well and provide good results. It is pretty easy to use and has a user-friendly interface.

Nachteile:

It has a lack of technical databse and most of the resumes are outdated. The search algorithm does not work properly and provides irrelevant results. There can be a comment section so that we can put what we have discussed with the candidate.

Kommentare: Overall this tool is great and the most used Job Board in our business. We are within the staffing space and without access to CareerBuilder we would not be successful.

Vorteile:

The number of results/candidates that CareerBuilder has is what stands this tool out compared to others. Also, the user-friendliness of the UI is positive. The website is very easy to use and provides plenty of potential applicants. The filtering is also great and the candidates seem to be up to date for the most part.

Nachteile:

There is not any vetting of candidates or resumes. You will get a large number of duplicate candidates or resumes. Also, there are a lot of shops that post generic resumes that do not have any contact information. I wish that CB required at least a active phone number or email address.

Quality has declined

Kommentare: As a 3rd party recruiting company, CareerBuilder is not the best fit with our recruiting needs as we recruit for many geographic locations simultaneously. We have found much greater success using other job boards.

Vorteile:

Ability to create Boolean search strings and filter by geographic location. Validity of job seekers and contact information. Support is always available and answers the phone quickly when issues arise. The Recruitment Edge feature is good to find passive candidates on LinkedIn.

Nachteile:

There must be a lot of turnover internally as we have a new rep regularly. The ROI on CareerBuilder has diminished significantly. We can find the same pool of candidates on Indeed for a fraction of the cost. They keep trying to push services and features on us that we do not need.

Super-easy to get your profile set up and linked with sites like LinkedIn and others. Daily emails with openings makes job hunting a breeze.

Like any platform, the professional help comes at quite the cost. I know it’s not a charity, but too expensive for people without a job!

Great Staffing app

One of the best features of the application is that it attracts many candidates and also offers a range of tools that make it easy to find suitable profiles for the vacancies posted.

Nachteile:

At the moment there is no feature that should be considered for change or improvement, perhaps to continue attracting as many or more candidates than are already attracted and improve the price to the public.

Kommentare: I used the free version and AVG together for the longest time and ended up paying for this one for active protection (it catches viruses while I use it instead of only when I run scans) because it seemed to catch more problems.

Vorteile:

I love how it caught viruses other programs didn't, and I like it so much I made it my active protection and paid for it.

Nachteile:

I haven't found anything that other anti-virus does better.

Career Builder Applicant Tracking System is Phenomenal

Kommentare: This software utilizes the top of the line industry technology to help recruiters and job seekers attain positive results in the staffing industry. I am very impressed with the overall ease of use, and results given when you are properly trained on the system.

Vorteile:

This software helps with tracking, applicant processing and sourcing, as well as the capabilities of utilizing their own drug screening and background check services. Overall, I really like the many uses of its technology and functionality, and the ease of use when properly trained. They have in house training seminars and support and everything that has to do with technical support is easily available and ready to help you in the job searching, and recruiting functions.

Nachteile:

Some of the systems many technical and support systems have glitches every once in a while, which is common to applicant tracking systems these days. There is a lot to learn and usage could be problematic if you are not trained properly on this system. The cost is also fairly steep with it's competitors. But honestly, you do get what you pay for with additional helpful features.

A job Portal that offers everything you need

Kommentare: CareerBuilder has a great filter which is "Candidate who are open to relocate", this option helps us a lot to find nonlocal candidates. Overall we have filled many non IT positions using this job board. If you are looking to hire Non It talent so this job board is one of the best choice for you so go for it...

CareerBuilder has a good database of IT and non IT resumes and its very easy to use and pull the information.

Nachteile:

We do not get good responses for job posting.

Expensive for what you get

Vorteile:

I love some of the tools to help thin down applicants especially on the higher up positions. Give great options that help to narrow down candidates and speed up finding the right one.

Nachteile:

It is almost too cumbersome. Easier to use a software with less options and does not take so long to set up each open positions that is entry level. When you get over 100 applicants off Indeed for free in just 24 hours it is a waste of time to use this for entry level positions.

Kommentare: 10 years ago, this was an awesome product. Primary source for advertising jogs and finding candidates.
This used to be a go to place for professional candidates. That is all gone. Can not find professional candidates now. Search engine does not work properly.

Name recognition. Well know in multiple industries for decades.

Nachteile:

Usability took a nose dive over the past several years. Platform just doesn't work any more.

Kommentare: Identifying low and mid level technology is easy in this which helped us recently to fill lot of desktop roles which was open recently. also we can find lot of customer service professionals as well

Vorteile:

one reason why I found this Software to be more usefull is we have both IT High Level and Low Leve category candidates are available in huge.

Nachteile:

there is nothing to mention here how ever like other similar software's the quantity of high end technology candidates and Visibility of details are low

Candidate Database on Career Builder.

Vorteile:

There are a lot of candidates in Career Builder. you can use their service with minimal training. If you are looking for a portal with H1B, GC, E4EAD, F1, or non-US Citizens, Then this portal is one of the best out there.

Nachteile:

The Candidates are mostly Non-Cleared and not Citizens of the United States. Candidates applying on this portal are irrelevant to the positions they are applying for.Whenever you post a requisition, You've to post it in two different tabs with limited word characters per tab.

Using CareerBuilder

Vorteile:

The thing I like most about applicant tracking is the notifications. I like being notified every time someone applies for the job that I posted instead of having to stay close to my computer and monitor the site.

Nachteile:

There aren't too many applicants that use careerbuilder so I guess I would say that the applicant pool isn't broad enough.

The boolean search function allows me to be very specific with who and what i am sourcing on. I utilize the and and or statements the most when it relates to technologies.

Nachteile:

Seeing repeat candidates names. It always seems to be the same few names every time I log on. I would like to see more and new talent on the site.

Who Doesn't Love CareerBuilder?

CareerBuilder is my go-to job board! It holds an acceptable number of candidates if you're running out of options.

Nachteile:

It can be a challenging sometimes if you're assigned to recruit for an executive level position. Probably it's a matter of using the appropriate search string.
