AuditBoard Review

Kommentare: I have enjoyed working with AuditBoard and watching it grow over the years. They are quite kind and customer-centric.

Vorteile:

The most impactful feature for us has been reporting. We can report on how many controls have been tested, policy approval status, compliance effectiveness, issue management - to name a few. The best feature though is the support team that comes with the tool. AB team members really listen to ideas and hurdles and help guide their customers through.

Nachteile:

When we first implemented AuditBoard, not all modules "talked" to each other. However, AB listened to our needs, and now everything works together.

The Go To for Internal Audit Management

Kommentare: No Internal Audit Management System is perfect but AuditBoard is one of the two best players in the market.

Vorteile:

Ease of use, continual updates, focus on Internal Audit.

Nachteile:

Implementation process, workstream module.

AuditBoard Review

Kommentare: Overall, I really like AuditBoard. I have people on my team who have come from other platforms who agree, and those who wish AB would do things the way their old platform did, but I generally like the product. It has made auditing much more organized and streamlined.

Vorteile:

Before AuditBoard, we worked on SharePoint, Excel, and several other platforms to get through an audit, and even then it was a manual process to review and plan for the next year. Now AuditBoard makes everything in the process, from planning to remediation, much easier.

Nachteile:

I've used AB for more than 4 years now and lately it has felt that the focus has moved away from improving its core products in order to build out the ecosystem. There are a bunch of small quirks in its core products, like SOXhub. When I've brought these items to the attention to the helpdesk and consultants, the response is always "suggest it as an idea in the community". This used to be a viable solution, but now I've had ideas out there for more than a year with dozens of "Kudos" (read: "likes") and comments from other users. Even AB staff have commented on a few saying that they've shared the idea and nothing ever happens. There used to be QOL updates at least monthly and now it seems like the community is largely ignored. It might just be my feeling though.

Auditboard Works Great for Daily processes.

Kommentare: I have been involved with this tool, since we first started testing, and was instrumental (from an IT perspective) in getting this implemented into our company. I have also been working with the daily support team to be sure they have the tools they need to be successful. I feel like I have a fairly good understanding of the architecture and the support model for the product and company.

Vorteile:

The daily working process for audit management is very good. Depending on how the application is configured, you can add different users for different purposes and allow them to see a variety of things. Historical data is fairly easy to capture in dashboards and can be rendered in a variety of ways. Issues are in a separate module, which makes them easy to find and review or reuse as needed.

Nachteile:

No global search function for topics, documents, etc. Text editing within the work steps is very limited. Additional functionality for bold text, bullets, etc. would be helpful. Recently, it's been a bit buggy as some functionality has broken as a result of updates, which has caused us some minor pain.

Excellent Software that every audit team needs

Vorteile:

Auditboard has helped the team to be more efficient in documenting and finalizing the audits thanks to its ease of use and optimization of automating tasks

Nachteile:

ABI dashboards limitations dont allow for customizable dashboards from zero

Glanbia Auditboard Tenant

Kommentare: Really positive experience, everybody in the team is using it seamlessly and in the same manner, ensuring that our quality standard is kept without additional workload.
QA reviews of our audits are trivial thanks to the forms, resulting in a much cleaner environment.

Vorteile:

Accessibility is key to our global department. Latency is always the same regardless where we are in the world. Another extremely important key point is the superb support we received throughout this year from the team. All responses were tailored to the questions, this is, somebody took the time to understand our question(s) and reply to them in a very professional manner. No canned responses.

Nachteile:

A number of steps in our methodology are conditioned by the workflow implemented within the tool. Also, automated generation of documentation is something that we cannot use due to the limited functionality. Hardly a headache, we just adapt our process and use the tool in the most effective manner.

AuditBoard - SOX Hub

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use, being able to very easily see my assigned tasks and know what is outstanding or in my queue at any given time.

Nachteile:

Limitations based on our contract for how many controls we are able to have / test. This causes issues as the company grows in size and implements new controls, and makes the cost higher as we grow.

EASE of SOX

Kommentare: It is great, we are able to automate so many features in SOX program.

Vorteile:

AuditBoard automates SOX, love the linking of controls to narrative.

Nachteile:

More robust Risk Assessment process would be great.

Auditboard is comprehensive and support is great

Kommentare: Auditboard has a lot of functions and tools that other audit softwares do not offer.

Vorteile:

Auditboard support has been super helpful in setting up functions, rolling forward audits, closing SOX programs.

Nachteile:

Report generating can be easier/more comprehensive. Sometimes I need to generate multiple reports for the information I need, or I need to generate a report to build another report to get the information I need.

Great SOX Management System

Kommentare: Overall I am very satistied with AuditBoard and I'm happy we selected it for management of our SOX program.

Vorteile:

AuditBoard's SOXHUB is a great GRC solution for managing a SOX program. It's super easy to manage in all ways, including adding documentation, managing PBC requests, user access, etc. I like that everything is contained within the system, so all documentation is in one place. Being able to manage PBC request within AuditBoard and then link them to the control testing significantly reduces email traffic and makes review and testing more efficient.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it's hard to run reporting for exactly what we want, but I think with more experience we will get better at generating reports.

AuditBoard is a game changer for internal audit shops

Kommentare: I love AuditBoard and look forward to implementing new features ASAP

Vorteile:

The collaborative nature of the tools help the business users and the internal audit users to work better together.

Nachteile:

There is nothing that comes to mind. The support is great and the functionality (ease of use) is wonderful.

Great tool and easy to use

Kommentare: We were looking for a tool that provided a holistic view of risk and didn't require a lot of configuration. Auditboard has been great in that regard. I would've liked to have more consulting up front in the implementation process to make sure that we implemented most effectively. We made some mistakes that we are now correcting that I do think could've been addressed at the beginning. Overall though, I would highly recommend Auditboard.

Vorteile:

Very intuitive for users; focused on features that enable the front line to play an active role in risk management

Nachteile:

More flexibility with licensing - there needs to be something between a core license and a stakeholder user. Policy management needs further development to meet the needs of our organization

Ease of Use

Kommentare: Overall great experience with AuditBoard.

Vorteile:

Ease of use. It was very users for our employees to use globally with little to no training needed.

Nachteile:

Reports - the out of the box dashboards and reports are not helpful. The only way they are useable are through an API with PowerBI.

OpsAudit Increases Efficiency of Audit Process and Supports Goal of Combined Assurance

Kommentare: AuditBoard has been excellent to deal with from the original request for proposal through to ongoing customer service as an existing client. We were particularly happy with the "bite size" on-demand training available to our staff to help shorten the learning curve.

Vorteile:

OpsAudit is a comprehensive audit management software that provides functionality and efficiency beyond just the internal audit shop. The efficiencies for the internal audit process include one centralized location for enterprise and engagement level risk assessment, workpaper and template repository ready to be pulled into each audit project, built-in templates to document work, easy cross-referencing and hyperlinking, easy to find and respond to review notes, ability to generate multiple report formats directly from the system, and powerful issue tracking and follow-up. In addition, the built-in workflow, forms, and dashboards allow client management to handle their own tasks related to audits, follow-up, and monitoring. The flexibility of adding multiple categories of projects, and multiple unique templates, has allowed us to expand usage of the software beyond the audit department to some second line of defense functions and move towards the goal of combined assurance.

Nachteile:

There are no features that are bad, or I can think of for improvement.

Automation and reporting with risk insights are the differentiator

Kommentare: Auditboard brings their A-game to every engagement regardless of organizational maturity or size. They are a true partner throughout the entire process.

Vorteile:

The automation and live on-demand progress and reporting ensures that there are no doubts around the ROI delivered to teams, partners, and stakeholders.

Nachteile:

The Auditboard team are responsive to feedback and constructive criticism. There are very few bad things to say about the end to end engagement.

A centralized system to facilitate audits and governance updates

Kommentare: This ensures that our data is reliable, consistent, and easily accessible. It reduces the time it takes to test and review multiple items at once and facilitates team collaboration. A central repository for audit, reform, and governance updates is a fantastic concept. AuditBoard has lowered audit cycle time, improved root cause and trend analysis, and accelerated recommendation implementation.

Vorteile:

AuditBoard is perfect for us, as we use it for risk assessment, planning, auditing, report writing, and problem tracking and remediation. Audit projects are made easier with AuditBoard as operations are much smoother with it. Everything is working very well, and we have seen a significant reduction in administrative work after the adoption of AuditBoard. Issue dashboards have greatly simplified Audit and Risk Committee reporting and we have been able to tailor tools according to the needs of our team. AuditBoard's problem-tracking approach saved us a lot of time and allowed us to share insights with senior leadership.

Nachteile:

We do not have big problems with AuditBoard, only some operations need improvements, such as text formatting and also coding operations for reports and archiving, as they are acceptable in the current form, but we hope for more updates in the future.

AuditBoard is better than the rest

Kommentare: My overall experience is positive. Projects are easy to manage. Auditees are happy with it, and we have been able to convert several manual processes formerly performed over email or Teams channels to Workstreams. This is the best audit platform.

Vorteile:

AuditBoard is very easy to use and provides good status visibility compared to other platforms.

Nachteile:

Issue management is clunky and reporting does not allow optimal displays of needed fields. There is insufficient linkage between module databases (Issues, SOXHUB, and OpsAudit) for reporting aspects of results, status of findings. AuditBoard is still better than other platforms, and is always improving.

Auditboard Review

Kommentare: Excellent experience overall.

Vorteile:

The ease of use across all functions is critical for success in our audit department. I appreciate that management can easily access and navigate the tool with little to no guidance.

Nachteile:

The inability to integrate outside data sources into the tool for risk assessment purposes.

AuditBoard

Kommentare: The customer service experience is amazing with AuditBoard. Today, I am at their annual conference in California, and I can't say enough wonderful things about [sensitive content hidden] , Senior Manager, in Customer Success. We were at breakfast and [sensitive content hidden] shared information with us about the weekly office sessions (virtual) that we can attend to learn more about the product. He answered all our questions related to the new features in AuditBoard and even discussed the new SOXHUB Admin Certificate. So excited to do that too. AuditBoard - if you are reading this, [sensitive content hidden] is an asset to your company!

Vorteile:

The product is very user-friendly, version control is very valuable, and each year new features are rolled out.

Nachteile:

I would like to see documents open on the same page. For example, to see the issue details open on the side of the page and still see the control info page open.

SOXHUB user

Kommentare: I feel like I have had a great overall experience with AuditBoard so far. The customer support is top notch and any issues we raise are resolved in a timely manner. Additionally, there is so much training available to help guide you if you are new to the tool.

Vorteile:

I think I enjoy how user friendly the system is. I came from a public accounting company and the layout of AuditBoard made a lot of sense and everything clicked for me shortly.

Nachteile:

I wouldn't say that this is something that I don't like about AuditBoard itself, but I work on GITC, and I feel like I may not be able to utilise the full functionality of AuditBoard. We have many systems that are tested as part of a single control and it can make it tough to utilise all of the different features that I think are helpful, but just would not make sense to use from a GITC perspective.

Great way to manage the Internal Audit process

Kommentare: I'm an internal auditor and have been using SOXHub for 4 months now. You don't need to be a tech master to navigate through the software, since everything is web-based and support is just a phone call away. The initial process of setting up controls and linking things around can be a bit tricky, but after awhile, everything will come together and make sense. The Dashboard provides a quick and easy way to show what controls are effective and what controls are ineffective. Navigating through everything is a breeze as you can sort my controls, types, control owners, who tested the controls, who reviewed the controls, etc. There's so much functionality involved such as creating specific rules for control owners, external auditors, and system admin. Additionally, you can run reports with specific parameters, to get a quick listing of whatever you are looking for. I really enjoy the WorkStream, which allows you to create tasks for control owners and have them upload their PBCs. It's a good way to keep track of who needs to complete what and also provides a deadline for such individuals to complete their assigned tasks.There's also a neat feature where you can "@username" someone and communicate any questions or concerns you may have. I've done this with my HR Manager, and she thought SOXHub was pretty cool for doing this since emails tend to get lost in the clutter. We also provided this access to our external auditors, and they were able to make their PBC requests and get in touch directly with the control owners, without sending emails. The feedback I received from an individual from Treasury had been positive, as she was happy that the external auditors weren't constantly parading around her desk for requests. Some minor suggestions I have would probably be in regards to the Narratives. The current functionality of editing your narratives is limited to a few general editing tools, but that's understandable since this is not Microsoft WORD. If you are nit-picky on how you like to format things, this can become a nuisance, but updates are along the way. I've talked to the SOXHub support, including James Im, who by far is very helpful, on things that can improve upon. The folks here are constantly listening and taking feedback on what they can do to make SOXHub better. I've offered a few suggestions on features I'd like to see, and within a month or so, the feature was implemented. All-in-all this is a great software. Thank you!

Brining Efficiencies Through Automation and Collaboration

Vorteile:

Automated generation of DRAFT and FINAL audit reports.

Nachteile:

SOXHub Workstream PBCs do not handle multiple requests across various respondents well.

Audit Board Review

Kommentare: We evaluated multiple programs and AuditBoard was the clear winner in our book!

Vorteile:

Auditboard is very user friendly. Becuase of the ease of use we have had little pushback from stakeholders which is huge!

Nachteile:

I don't like the fact that some features that we would naturally think are part of the program aren't available and you have to put in a suggestion for them to consider it. For something to be considered it needs multiple thumbs up from users.

AuditBoard Review

Vorteile:

The customer service team is so friendly and helpful. When we encounter an issue or need a change made, we receive feedback within 24 hours and they are always willing to jump on a call to talk through and/or be shown the issue we're having. The workflows are a fantastic way to ensure that reviews are being done completely and timely.

Nachteile:

The AuditBoard team continue to work to increase the functionality of bespoke audits, but there is still a lot of work to be completed.
