Vorteile:

Durchdachtes Produkt was richtig konfiguriert die Sicherheit in einem Unternehmen erheblich erhöhen kann.

Nachteile:

Leider scheint die Qualitätssicherung nicht zu funktionieren wie kürzlich aus den Medien zu entnehmen war. Es ist großer Schaden entstanden durch Bluescreens überall auf der Welt mitten in der Urlaubszeit. Das darf nicht passieren.

Vorteile:

Falcon is easy to use and easy to implement. It delivers the best containment and alerting rate in the market and gives good visibility from IT, IOT and Cloud.

Nachteile:

Falcon comes in at a steep budget point.

Crowdstrike Falcon comprehensive security

Kommentare: We are pleased with it, including the DLP function on the client PCs, and the results are delighted.

Vorteile:

It does not require any other agent on the client. You can start to use it on current agents on the clients.

Nachteile:

The software update policy was a bit uncontrolled.

One of the best in class

Kommentare: I've been using Crowdstrike for a couple of years and the overall experience is positive. Although I think sometimes it can be overwhelming for the high amount of features it offers, I think we are talking about one of the best cybersecurity solutions in the market. The only problem we have had during the last years is the massive outage which happened on 19th of July 2024.

Vorteile:

- It's a cloud-based tool, which means that unlike other tools in the market, you won't need an on-premises server for managing. - It uses a light agent easy to install on the computers, and it reports no matter if the computer is on your LAN or not. - Unlike other tools which only work with threats signatures, Crowdstrike uses AI to prevent, detect and respond to those threats in real-time. It can detect more specific things like strange behaviours, or more advanced techniques than the common tools. - When a detection happens, you get a great level of detail which helps you to determine if it's a real threat or not, and solve it.

Nachteile:

- The learning curve is steeper than other solutions on the market. - Some easy/common tasks in other solutions (like Computer Scan) are not as easy as in other tools. - Sometimes it throws a higher amount of false positives than desired. - Adding exceptions can be confusing.

Expensive product in a crowded marketplace

Vorteile:

This tool gave us unparalleled visibility into our environment that we did not have with an old school antivirus agent.

Nachteile:

That the initial install on some systems did not go as planned.

Solid tool for Threat Detection and Response

Kommentare: Overall this tool is very effective for our IT environment. Using it from the past 1.5 years, the interface is clean and intuitive. Dashboard provides good overview and user friendly. It uses AI and ML for improving the threat detection

Vorteile:

Its features like automated responses and threat mitigation. No manual intervention needed. Cloud native architecture helps with minimal impact on local resources. It integrates seamlessly with third party tools and other components of the CrowdStrike platform which we use.

Nachteile:

The initial setup and optimization of integrations, Needs additional training and expertise for advanced features. Data retention must be for longer duration. Documentation and troubleshooting section needs to be detailed.

Crowdstrike Falcon review

Vorteile:

One of the best EDR solution in market. I really like the interface of the platform, it is so much user friendly. False positives are very less compared to the previous endpoint security solutions we have used. A light weight agent makes it a very stable product.

Nachteile:

Not much to say about dislike part but I can say it is costly compared to it peers and I feel the reporting feature can be better.

Very small footprint for the Falcon agent on endpoint devices. It was very easy to get onboard into using Falcon.

Some 3rd integrations could be improved and made better with.

Knowing that our assets are secured and protected by highly skilled security staff 24/7 and that it is go to product for security makes me and the firm feel secure.

Nachteile:

Would like it to be cheaper, but the Anti Virus market is different now compared to 10 years ago and you get what you pay for.

Nachteile:

Crowdstrike is hard to navigate at first, but with more use it becomes easier.

Falcon complete is amazing

Kommentare: The overall experience with Falcon has been absolutely fantastic. Our rep is always ready to answer questions, and they take the guesswork out of security.

Vorteile:

They do all of the work for us, makes us feel safe and secure at all times.

Nachteile:

The only con was the recent downtime they caused due to a rogue update. However, they had it fixed within an hour and provided workarounds that got us quickly back up and running.

The new design is a little bit off, and the MAC support is not the best currently.

Great lightweight tools with a lot of functionality

Vorteile:

The app is incredibaly lightweight compared to other competitors like Sophos, which caused one of our webservers grind to a halt. The intergration with Slack is quite useful at pinging the team immediatley when we have high level security issues.

Nachteile:

The learning curve of dianosing issues is a bit more steep, and the support team insists on running a extensive windows memory logging before they will talk to you.

Nachteile:

Reporting is having limited functionalities and needs fine-tuning.

Nachteile:

There may be few challenges that engineers could potentially encounter when using this solution, Falcon may require a certain level of expertise on managing the Vulnerabilities especially dealing with the payloads and also while dealing with the false positives that happens to consume time and resources while validating an alert.

An excellent all-around Antivirus solution

Kommentare: As an admin, I am very happy with Crowdstrike Falcon and hope to continue using and managing it for many years to come.

Vorteile:

We transitioned to Crowdstrike from a traditional endpoint protection solution and the difference was night and day. Crowdstrike Falcon is easy to use and manage, intuitive, incredibly powerful and intelligent, uses a bare minimum of system resources, has a very effective uninstall protection, and is very easy to deploy.

Nachteile:

No cons. I highly recommend this product.

Falcón Crowdstrike review

Kommentare: It was a good product to review and experiment with, but in the end we chose Norton.

Vorteile:

It was solid, and not difficult to configure.

Nachteile:

It did not integrate as well with MS server platform as Norton

Easy to monitor the network activity

Vorteile:

I appreciate how easily the network is monitored, including both incoming and outgoing traffic.

Nachteile:

Although network monitoring is simple, there is still room for improvement in terms of the graph user interface.

Not too many. Slightly on the expensive side for licenses

Kommentare: It is among product and solving our problems related to vulnerability management, edr alerts IT hygience and proactive monitoring through overwatch.

Vorteile:

ease of deployment, less false positives and amazing GUI.

Nachteile:

This product is bt expensive and they work on their customer service.
