Vorteile:

Dashlane sync fast for all the devices. Dark Web monitoring is good, it actually scanning in realtime.

Nachteile:

Dashlane has small number of features. It's actually password store, just store the password and use it. It does not have many features. If I want to save ssh key or something?

Unimaginably superior

Kommentare: My overall experience is simply great. It has a built in VPN which i really like and is extremely easy to set up. another huge deal maker for mee is the dark web monitoring built in(which isn't the best because haveIbeenpawned is a website where you can check this for free).

Vorteile:

The biggest pro of all is definitely the ease of use, it is so good that while writing this review, I just realized I never had to call up customer support because of how easy it is to use.

Nachteile:

I have no major issues with this product except for that it is just simply quite expensive for its services

A good password keeper but not as good as others.

Vorteile:

It is a good product for storing passwords and credential storage.

Nachteile:

The iPhone app can use facial recognition which is great, but that lead some users to forget their login password and then they got locked out of their accounts.

Kommentare: I used it in two projects where we needed to share access to sensitive accounts, and it has been great. The support team is really kind.

Vorteile:

It is really simple to use, and it super secure. Not only because of the encryption, but because it looks trustworthy.

Nachteile:

It can be a little pricey compared to other tools.

Good, But Lacking Compared To Competition

Kommentare: We ended up only using Dashlane for about a week until we decided to switch to 1Password.

Vorteile:

My favorite feature of Dashlane is the ability to change all (or some) of your passwords at once. This is especially useful for a business that utilizes accounts that are accessed by multiple employees.

Nachteile:

There were a few caveats that made us stop using Dashlane. Firstly, there are no folders, making it hard to manage our 50+ different account passwords and impossible to share specific folders with different media departments. Also, the price is higher than the competition, which makes it a bit unappealing when compared to something like 1Password (especially because they don't offer any multi-user plans on their lower price tiers).

Wonderful experience with Dashlane.

Kommentare: So I'm really bad in remembering the passwords. Dashlane really helped me in keeping my multiple password saved. I'm using it for personal use too. It's really difficult to remember so many emails and password.

Vorteile:

Off course it's feature of saving the password. For me it's really helpful in keeping my password saved with it.

Nachteile:

They may increase the time limit of saving the password. Like it's for 14 days currently.

Easy way to secure and access credentials

Vorteile:

It is the best way to secure passwords and it is providing VPN service also that is really great at free of cost for free plan users. As i am working in an organization it is my responsibility also to keep client credentials safe, Dashlane helping me to secure credentials and access them in safe way that is really good.

Nachteile:

The only dislike i have is we can use only one device is permitted with free plan. Apart from that there are no dislikes.

Perfect to win time

Vorteile:

I recommend the tool in order to not fight anymore by looking for a password. It allows to win time with only 1 password to remember. It's also easy to update the new passwords.

Nachteile:

The only cons I can see is that it needs to be approved by the legal department in order to be sure it's safe.

Kommentare: Generally usable, but expensive per user licencing considering lack of interest in implementing enhancements to support business users.

Vorteile:

Sign in on Chrome to websites works well. Password history and sharing of passwords useful even though sharing options are poor.

Nachteile:

Calls itself Dashlane for Business, but does not have deep understanding of Business user needs. When a staff member has a change of primary account name (eg: change of name) Dashlane should allow us like every other app to change the email linked to the account.

One of the bigger names in password management, but comes with some issues.

Kommentare: I felt let down by Dashlane, It is a great piece of software and I can understand why it is a leader in it field. However a couple of minor issues makes it OK and not great. However please understand it does work and is great at securely storing passwords.

Vorteile:

Dashlane is pollished and well presented. The UI is clean and simple to navigate. Password sharing is the best I´ve seem. I felt confident in storing my passwords in Dashlane.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately the hit and miss of the autofill was a deal breaker for me. I spent for to much time having to manually input passwords.

Reliable password manager with secure notes and sharing

Vorteile:

Dashlane is a well-established and trustworthy password manager. It comes with convenient browser integration allowing to generate & save passwords of new accounts, as well as automatically logging-into existing ones. Other form fields are also filled based on your personal information. Password security relies on a 'master' password, and optional two-factor authentication. Data is synchronized easily between devices (except on the free plan), with an encrypted backup stored on Dashlane's servers. Beyond passwords, Dashlane can store all kinds of sensitive information such as identity documents, means of payment, bank accounts, software licenses, and other notes. It is possible to share an account password with another Dashlane user, or even set an 'emergency contact' which may receive access to your passwords if requested, and after a delay without action on your part. Among the newer features, the 'Identity Dashboard' summarizes password security, including insights on which accounts may be at risk due to security breaches. Related or reused passwords are highlighted for renewal.

Nachteile:

The autofill features sometimes have trouble detecting which field should receive which info, in which case the entry must be fixed manually. On macOS (at least), the client often needs to be started again after rebooting the computer, otherwise no window would show.

Decent password management for the average user

Kommentare: I found the usage within my organisation somewhat spotty. It was widely adopted but disliked by the technical staff who wanted to use a more secure solution. It was widely used by most technologically literate staff.
However the staff who did not have much knowledge of computer use had a poor adoption rate. I can only imagine that this lowered the effectiveness of password management for these users.

Vorteile:

It was a decent piece of software for the average user. They adopted it and found its use improved their workflow - particularly on websites in which the chrome plugin worked effectively. I found that it provided a decent tool for managing my work passwords at the time and i eventually used the free dashlane tool at home before moving onto a solution that I personally preferred. It provided a good mix of convenience and security.

Nachteile:

The company i worked for at the time used a premium account (for business) however switched to a different solution. Because i was not part of the decision to switch I cannot exactly explain why this was the case. Once I was using the free version after the premium ran out I found that this software was a good example of 'nagware'. It kept constantly asking me to go back to premium usage. I understand the company has to make money and convert free users to premium users but i found it too obtrusive and migrated all of my passwords over to a new solution. The software has a tradeoff between security and convenience with online password storage. Useful for the average user's passwords, but critical passwords should be stored offline.

Outstanding features as to why I would recommend Dashlane.

Kommentare: With the increased amount of 'hacking' that has been happening and the need for better security on all things being done on the internet, I feel much safer using Dashlane as it provides the type of services that give you peace of mind.

Vorteile:

The integration to our business was seamless. It also made it less stressful in attempting to 'make up' passwords for all the various state, federal and medical service sites that are used on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Nachteile:

Sometimes, the program would autofill in areas where the information provided wasn't needed. However, that is a small problem in comparison to the many positive features it has.

Good choice for larger companies

Vorteile:

We decided to use Dashlane for our whole team. It became a necessity to find a good password management software once we reached 70 people, and more. It is quite hard to set up everything but once you are used to it, you realize it's really a great tool. We have teams which each have their own vault. And each employee can also create their own.

Nachteile:

It is quite expensive and there are a lot of other options out there, but this one is the best for us right now.

This is the best and most secure password manager. Period.

Kommentare: I use Dashlane to securely store all of my passwords and to create very strong passwords for my accounts. The sync features also makes logging into my account across my devices easy.

Vorteile:

Dashlane is the best password manager out there. I've used several others, and I can confidently say Dashlane beats them all. From the very neat and intuitive user interface to the ease of use, this software is just awesome. The autofill option works like charm. That makes logging in very easy and painless. Another wonderful feature is that it seamlessly syncs my passwords across all my devices, making them available in whatever platform I'm using.

Nachteile:

Aside the price, there's really nothing to complain about since I never expected such a wonderful software to come so cheap.

Only mildly annoys me while getting the job done

Kommentare: My company pays for it but I'm not impressed.

Vorteile:

- it auto fills my log in and passwords - will automatically generate strong passwords

Nachteile:

- For whatever reason, there does not appear to be an option to add choose the phone number you use to autofill forms. Sometimes I need people to contact my office number, sometimes my cell. Overall Dashlane's form autofill annoys me. - Dashlane can be glitchy on certain websites. When this happens, I experience problems such as having to reload a page 20 bajillion times or turn dashlane off. -Dashlane automatically signs me out of my account multiple times a week. I have no idea why. I am the sole user on my computer. It's pretty frustrating. - I work at a consulting firm. We have numerous clients. Hence, I run into this specific issue with Sharepoint websites with similar set ups: Dashlane is unable to tell the difference between clients' Sharepoint login portals. I have to fight with Dashlane to turn it off, look up the password info for each client's Sharepoint portal and proceed.

Kommentare: Dashlane Business is great way to share passwords with other employees for websites that everyone on your team uses. Also, you are able to separate your personal passwords/info from your work passwords, which is the best part!

Vorteile:

Dashlane is very helpful for remembering the hundreds of passwords that we use on a daily basis, especially when you want to have very hard to crack passwords for different websites. I'm able to have a different password for each website and Dashlane keeps track of it all for me. I also love that I can save all my credit cards and bank info in it, so that I can checkout easily on payment platforms and online shopping websites.

Nachteile:

I have had times that Dashlane didn't update a password automatically that I changed on a certain website, which I don't catch until then next time I try to get on that website again.

Great for personal use

Kommentare: Dashlane was great are the time that we purchased it, offering an affordable password manager that allowed sharing. But it failed to scale with us and deliver features that were promised so that we could grow as a business.

Vorteile:

Dashlane offered a low price point for personal password manager. It's great for individual use, but it struggles to scale.

Nachteile:

There are no integration points for businesses. No API is available, the Chrome experience is lacking, so users are forced to use desktop machines rather than something like a Chromebook.

Vorteile:

I have been using Dashlane for a couple of years now. The guys over there at Dashlane are doing an excellent job. I especially like the user friendly dashboard and the extend in which you can add only the details you really need to. I also like that a lot of new features are being added all the time without affecting the overall performance or user friendly dashboard.

Nachteile:

The only thing I hold against Dashlane is that there has been a few times that I have had to force reset the software especially when it is used in combination with the google extension. Other than that I am very pleased.

Top 5 Best Apps Ever. Can't live without it anymore.

Vorteile:

It has singlehandedly saved me many many hours of login time, searching for passwords, syncing, and password generation time. It's brilliant, secure, and I can even install it on my government laptop (shhh!). It automatically logs me in to sites, it backs up all of my sensitive data/info and autofills it into forms at my request. Can't live with out it. If it were to crash or go out of business I'd be up the creek.

Nachteile:

The UI isn't as smooth as it could be, but that's nit-picking. It's pretty solid overall. I'd say the fact that I have to pay for it to sync on more than one device is a con... I guess.

Dashlane is great for companies looking to manage multiple logins and passwords.

Vorteile:

I've used Dashlane for over 2 years and it is one of my favorite applications. I can easily access passwords from my desktop, personal home computer and smartphone with ease. They sync automatically as well so I'm never stuck searching for a password I can't find.

Nachteile:

There is an issue with changing the original email address on accounts. I've since switched to different companies but I'm unable to change my original login password which is annoying.

The best password manager

Kommentare: I have tried different password managers and the program has some features that others do not allow. I am satisfied with the easy installation and reliability of the program.

Vorteile:

The program allows you to import all saved passwords. Password changer can change multiple passwords at once. E-mail customer support is fast.

Nachteile:

Phone support is missing. The program has too simple two-factor authentication
