Vorteile:

Dashlane sync fast for all the devices. Dark Web monitoring is good, it actually scanning in realtime.

Nachteile:

Dashlane has small number of features. It's actually password store, just store the password and use it. It does not have many features. If I want to save ssh key or something?

Good fully featured password manager for business

Kommentare: I used it in two projects where we needed to share access to sensitive accounts, and it has been great. The support team is really kind.

Vorteile:

It is really simple to use, and it super secure. Not only because of the encryption, but because it looks trustworthy.

Nachteile:

It can be a little pricey compared to other tools.

It is a good product for storing passwords and credential storage.

Nachteile:

The iPhone app can use facial recognition which is great, but that lead some users to forget their login password and then they got locked out of their accounts.

Kommentare: So I'm really bad in remembering the passwords. Dashlane really helped me in keeping my multiple password saved. I'm using it for personal use too. It's really difficult to remember so many emails and password.

Vorteile:

Off course it's feature of saving the password. For me it's really helpful in keeping my password saved with it.

Nachteile:

They may increase the time limit of saving the password. Like it's for 14 days currently.

Easy way to secure and access credentials

Vorteile:

It is the best way to secure passwords and it is providing VPN service also that is really great at free of cost for free plan users. As i am working in an organization it is my responsibility also to keep client credentials safe, Dashlane helping me to secure credentials and access them in safe way that is really good.

Nachteile:

The only dislike i have is we can use only one device is permitted with free plan. Apart from that there are no dislikes.

Good, But Lacking Compared To Competition

Kommentare: We ended up only using Dashlane for about a week until we decided to switch to 1Password.

Vorteile:

My favorite feature of Dashlane is the ability to change all (or some) of your passwords at once. This is especially useful for a business that utilizes accounts that are accessed by multiple employees.

Nachteile:

There were a few caveats that made us stop using Dashlane. Firstly, there are no folders, making it hard to manage our 50+ different account passwords and impossible to share specific folders with different media departments. Also, the price is higher than the competition, which makes it a bit unappealing when compared to something like 1Password (especially because they don't offer any multi-user plans on their lower price tiers).

Perfect to win time

Vorteile:

I recommend the tool in order to not fight anymore by looking for a password. It allows to win time with only 1 password to remember. It's also easy to update the new passwords.

Nachteile:

The only cons I can see is that it needs to be approved by the legal department in order to be sure it's safe.

Kommentare: Generally usable, but expensive per user licencing considering lack of interest in implementing enhancements to support business users.

Vorteile:

Sign in on Chrome to websites works well. Password history and sharing of passwords useful even though sharing options are poor.

Nachteile:

Calls itself Dashlane for Business, but does not have deep understanding of Business user needs. When a staff member has a change of primary account name (eg: change of name) Dashlane should allow us like every other app to change the email linked to the account.

Pretty meh compared to other tools

Vorteile:

It did what it should - kept track of passwords and organized them in an encrypted folder for you. Pretty plain and simple!

Nachteile:

The Dashlane functionality was buggy and our passwords were often prompted for on pages that didn't require a password. It was also a big challenging to update passwords automatically when changed and I often found it didn't record changes. I left this platform for another.

Dashlane's Password Health score is superb. It displays the percentage strength of your passwords, prompting you to strengthen them for increased security. The Dark Web monitoring feature is quite impressive, notifying you if there have been any data breaches that have compromised your personal information.While Dashlane offers a free account, it is limited to one device, making it more suitable for testing the software than for regular use.Dashlane is a wonderful choice if you want a simple and safe way to manage your passwords.

Vorteile:

I like that the software helps keep passwords safe and that you can share logins with employees without them actually having the password. Great for use since employees come and go.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it is a headache to login or if Im using a certain browser it won't work.

Approachable and user-friendly

Vorteile:

Dashlane is so easy to use! It lives as an icon in your browser bar and is always running, prompting you to update info or add new credentials as it notices you enter new information. Once you are logged in, you STAY logged in for days at a time, which is a feature I can't say enough good things about (and one of my major gripes with another similar password management program). It is so annoying if you have to continually log in with a (necessarily complex) master password just to get access to your other passwords. But Dashlane doesn't have that issue. It also has a user-friendly iPhone app.

Nachteile:

My only small gripe was that the autofill was SO good that it would sometimes log me in to websites automatically before I had a chance to confirm which login info I wanted to use (at times I have multiple logins for the same site, both for work and personal use). But that may not be an issue with Dashlane and instead could be something with those websites, I'm not sure. If it is an issue on Dashlane's end, I would suggest not autofilling right away but rather allowing a dropdown in the first input box (i.e., user name field) if there are multiple saved logins. And/or don't automatically run the "enter" command after filling things in (this also becomes an issue if a credit card has some updated information, like an expiration date). Instead, you can autofill everything and then let the user (me) click "enter" once I've confirmed everything is good to go.

Eliminate login headaches with this excellent password manager!

Kommentare: Dashlane for Business is an excellent tool. It provides incredible security. It saves time by expediting the sign-in process. Never worry about forgetting a password again!

Vorteile:

Dashlane automatically saves & securely stores all of my passwords. It makes logging into sites EXTREMELY easy with its auto-fill function. It works seamlessly across all my devices. I also love the password-generator feature, which creates ultra-secure passwords when I don't feel like thinking of my own.

Nachteile:

I can hardly think of anything I don't love about Dashlane. I suppose my biggest problem with it is that I wish the VPN connected automatically.

manage your passwords with ease

Kommentare: manages passwords and automatically logs you in. Even allows for multiple logins to the same site (which is useful on occassion). tAkes the stress and pain out of managing multiple passwords (I have over 200)

Vorteile:

I have over 200 passwords and like most tried using the same password (not a good idea) or keeping a written list (also a bad idea). Now I can choose a password and get prompted to ensure it's secure, or let Dashlane pick one for me. Either way, it's saved for auto-population for later use. No more remembering did I use upper case or lower case? Did I add numbers and symbols, etc.. This takes all the guess work out and ensures a secure password is used. It also provides reminders of how long you've used the password (and to change it if needed). and one of the best features is you can use it across multiple devices.....

Nachteile:

At times there have been some sync issues across devices, but this has been rare. It is frustrating when it happens, but fortunately it has only occurred a few times over a couple of years.

Credential sharing made easy

Kommentare: We have been using Dashlane for more than a year now, we are very happy about this choice. It's a must for mid-size and big companies.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to : (1) add teammates, (2) add in new websites with shared credentials, (3) install extension or use the app to access websites. We are sharing dashlane within the company, it's SO MUCH EASIER NOW. We do not have to copy paste all the time and send confidential infos as credentials through chat and emails. It clearly feels safer.

Nachteile:

There are so many steps in order to log in, BUT it's definitely a plus as well because it ensures our data safety for sure.

Dashlane Business--Handle all of your passwords, securely and with ease

Kommentare: I have well over 100 passwords, and the era of "using one you can remember" is long over. In fact, you need "horrible" long passwords that cannot possibly be remembered. While there are other password managers out there, none is as good as Dashlane. Go ahead and try the others. You will choose Dashlane for sure.

Vorteile:

Works well in nearly all situations. That is, log-ins generally run without problems. Secure, and will sync your password data across all of your devices. Also provides notice of breaches, and if your established passwords are too "lame."

Nachteile:

Auto form-filling can be annoying in certain contexts. Best to first copy your new password to the clipboard, since under certain circumstances, Dashlane will not always remember it. You can use in conjunction with a free program such as Password Generator.

You need a password manager and Dashlane is a great choice

Kommentare: We couldn't function with out using Dashlane for managing all our passwords. Until there is a better alternative for security than passwords, you need a password manager and Dashlane works well.

Vorteile:

It is great that we can share passwords between team members or groups of team members. We also have access to the passwords and login info on our mobile devices.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the Chrome plugin gets very slow and it seems that only a reboot will clear it up. There is no warning like high cpu use or anything. It just doesn't auto fill passwords anymore.

Dashlane Business Review

Vorteile:

I really love the password generator and that I can select which characters I would like to specifically use or exclude in my password. The passwords generated are very random so that makes them very difficult to remember, but the point of Dashlane is to remember your passwords for you so this is not a major issue. I also love that it detects when the passwords you already have saved are the same, or too similar, and advises you to change them.

Nachteile:

A little bit more expensive than other software used to remember/create passwords, but I think it's worth it overall.

Useful but inflexible and poor service

Kommentare: Average .. and in the end the frustrations that Dashlane caused and their service team's inability to help led us to shift to Nord

a simple to use platform that works (mostly)

Nachteile:

(i) poor and very slow service with no real interest in getting to the bottom of issues.. particularly for unusual issues. Also have a theme of not taking responsibility for problems they cause. (ii) sharing functionality is weak and hard to use (particularly if share a large number of items... you can not search and sort them easily)(iii) change your email address leads to highly frustrating problems as your user name is always welded to the first email address you use

Best Password Management software EVER

Kommentare: I love it, its easy to use, I have allot of logins and this makes my life so much easier to manage by having this all in one program/application

Vorteile:

Im over 50 and keeping up with logins and passwords is not as easy as it was when i was younger. This tool is a Godsend. You can use the add on to automatically access your logins so you dont have to rely on memory and it works across mobile devices as well.

Nachteile:

I do worry sometimes that its a look of trust and power to give one company and application and if its somehow hacked its game over for your privacy.

An absolute godsend

Kommentare: Dashlane is great for securely storing not only passwords and having your browser auto login, but also for secure notes such as server information and other sensitive data. I also love that syncing feature which means that this information is across all of my devices no matter where I am.

Vorteile:

I would be lost without Dashlane's auto login and Secure Notes features. I use them both heavily. Prior to this I was storing this information in my head or worse, in emails and text documents. Now, Dashlane keeps it all secure for me.

Nachteile:

I find that sometimes the auto login will choose the wrong account and I then have to logout and relogin again. But this is a minor inconvenience.

Dashlane is the best password manager, for me

Kommentare: Obviously, everyone needs a password manager, and I've tried most of the "top-rated" options. After much experimentation, I have found Dashlane to be the best combination of ease of use, security, and features. Because I use Windows, Mac, and iOS, cross-platform support is key, and Dashlane handles this simply and expertly. I love the password changing feature, and use payment information constantly (perhaps I shop online too much?) I love having unique passwords on every site, as well.

Vorteile:

Great user interface (excellent for technophiles--the best in the business). Password changing is amazingly useful. Easy to create unique passwords on every site, and more than any other product, "it just works." Sharing passwords with others is trivial, and having an emergency contact is my favorite feature.

Nachteile:

OK, occasionally the product doesn't do quite what I want (saves the wrong password once I try to save a new password) and occasionally the user interface that pops up gets in the way. But generally, it's the best of its kind.

To manage password, think Dashlane !

Kommentare: With Dashlane all my passwords are grouped in one place and when I decide to log into a platform, Dashlane offers to enter my identifiers in complete security, even in front of prying eyes.

Vorteile:

Not having to remember a password every time I have to enter one. It's cool and that's what I like the most

Nachteile:

sometimes you are sure that you have authorized the saving of a new password, but in the end you find that Dashlane has not saved it. This is very unpleasant
