ease of use and pricing. Once I got the hang of it, publishing was easy. and you can't beat the pricing. I do like the email address clean up ability!

the formatting takes a little getting used to.

Very pleased with EmailOctopus!
Kommentare: I have used EmailOctopus for a few years now. I send emails a few times per year to my client base, and a separate email to my referral sources. It's very easy to design an attractive looking email, and then to track who opens it and what they click on.
Vorteile:
For my level of usage this service is free and has all the sophistication I need.
Nachteile:
There is nothing I dislike, other than when I mention it to others they haven't heard of it!

Top quality & easy to use
Vorteile:
It's a very solid product - good deliverability, excellent onboarding and support and a very generous free tier. I find it very reliable and trust that my emails are reaching inboxes. I much prefer it to Mailchimp.
Nachteile:
The editor is a bit tedious. I need to change text & links from the template default every time. Also it does not automatically integrate with as much third party stuff. Zapier can make most integrations happen but I haven't got into it.

User friendly interface

Hi Mark, thanks for leaving us a review. Happy to hear you find EmailOctopus easy to use – this was definitely one of our main goals! Regarding your feedback on design options – we're actually revamping our editor as we speak, and you'll see some more options very shortly. That said, when it comes to the features you mentioned, our limitations are not arbitrary – they are dictated by the constraints of how emails are rendered in mailboxes. For instance, most web fonts only work in fewer than 50% of mailboxes, so even if we were to add them, they wouldn't render in the email you send to your subscribers. Similarly, with video content – most email clients don't support rendering videos directly in the mailbox, and they would open them in a new tab anyway. So to avoid display and deliverability issues, we follow best industry practices. However, we keep our eyes peeled for any updates, and if more email clients start supporting those options, we'll definitely look into adding them, too ;)

Kommentare: I'm really happy with my account in Octopus, way better than my last email marketing platform. So simple to use and friendly.
Vorteile:
Easy and super friendly platform, they send regular emails with tips on how to improve your messages, I found this very helpful. I recommend Octopus with eyes closed.
Nachteile:
Maybe help bubbles with the best way to editing messages. And a easy way to bulk erase emails, sometimes bot attacks and stored useless emails.

Simplicity Meets Affordability in Email Marketing
Kommentare: Simple, easy to customise and send your email campaigns. Doesn't slow your website with a WordPress plugin. Probably the best-priced email platform you'll find online.
Vorteile:
I like the simplicity of the platform. Easy to navigate and not complicated. It has a great pricing structure, the best I've found so far.
Nachteile:
You have to enter your email each time you want to send a campaign. Free for up to 2500 subscribers which was great but now a competitor has 10000.

Excellent solution for managing email campaigns!
Vorteile:
The free option to start out with EmailOctopus is a very good choice to start out with. It enables you to see the functionality and send a good amount of emails before committing to a paid plan (if you need one). We have used a couple different options for email marketing, and EmailOctopus was the best all-around that we tried.
Nachteile:
EmailOctupus seems to have fewer email templates than some of the other providers, however - the ones they have fit our needs perfectly.

Easy to use with great support pages to help me switch over initially and then to continue to make my email campaigns the best I can make them.
I'd recommend EmailOctopus to anyone who's unfamiliar with setting up email subscriptions. But it's great to anyone really, no matter the level of experience.

The ease of making up an email to send out to my subscribers. EmailOctopus isn't the first service I've used over the years, but it's by far the easiest one to navagate.
Nachteile:
It can get pricey when you need to upgrade. But that's pretty much true across the board these days. And you do get what you pay for.

I have to admit that it was the Free Plan that first got my attention, but it's been the really great customer support that has totally sold me on EmailOctopus. Everyone is so friendly and prompt with their responses to even some of my "newbie" questions. I also really like how easy and intuitive everything is set up. IIt was so quick and easy to get started and I've made some beautiful web forms that I love.
Nachteile:
At this time, because my list is small, I don't have any Cons.

Customer Service When You Need It!

I didn't just received customer service from one person, but several were willing to help and really quickly too. I was very impressed after a 24 hr. fiasco at Mail Chimp and getting frustrated with Wix emails policies.
Nachteile:
I do not like that I cannot paste a text edit document and have it see my paragraphs. Makes posting it time consuming.
Email campaigns
Kommentare: The creation of email marketing campaigns is sent to customers in a timely manner, being viewed with great interest and with great response results
Vorteile:
Since I started using EmailOctopus, my email list has grown significantly, which has been very valuable for getting more subscribers and creating marketing campaigns for more users. These campaigns through EmailOctopus have been the most effective and have had an amazing impact on customers

The entire process has been the best, there are no flaws whatsoever, it has been useful and helpful to me

Good via console and API
Kommentare: They have been good to work with and their product is of very good quality. The end result of the emails produced is clearly the most important and these are very good. There has been one price increase during the few months that I have been with them.
Vorteile:
We use the Connect features to use our own sending infrastructure, whilst Email Octopus handles list management for us. The API is just about enough for what we need from it but has been very quick to integrate with our applications. The email design features are good, and the end result of mails to customers is great.
Nachteile:
Unlike some of the larger providers, there is no first party API SDKs available for PHP/Laravel. However, there is enough community engagement to make 3rd party ones which work well, and looking at the underlying API it would be straightforward to make your own.
Great for a small nonprofit!
Kommentare: A very positive experience that allowed us to get up and moving quickly and easily.

It seemed quick and easy to set up and get going fast, which is what we needed. Price point was right and we have continued to grow our email list ever since we started.

Great Email Software for Small business owners and Marketers
Kommentare: I Love it, 10/10! I would recommend it to anyone looking to level up their email marketing game.
Vorteile:
I love that it is super easy to use, I can create professional-looking emails with little to no training, and I can create automations to send emails without me manually having to do so.
Nachteile:
Nothing comes to mind, there are a couple of things that are quirky, but just takes a little getting used to, but nothing stands out.

Small but perfectly formed
Kommentare: A great platform for email marketing and it seems like it will only get better.
Vorteile:
EmailOctopus is a simple platform which does email very well. The practical ease of use is unmatched by competitors in my experience - especially at the price.
Nachteile:
In some areas it would be nice to have a few more features such as around media library management and historical reporting of email performance by date range or tags. Also reporting on subscriber engagement in more detail with flexible reporting would be nice along with a few additional capabilities around link tracking. These are all optional though, and what EmailOctopus does it does very well.
Positive Experience

Vorteile:
I see a high delivery rate with the emails which is comforting and crucial for me. Email Octopus seems to prioritize getting in inboxes verses spam folders.
