We tried out this software in our small business to track leave and vacation information and plan for the few employees we had. This is a great software and the price cannot be beat.
Irregular whistles and bells (reminder tools) may be embarrassing at times, particularly if it comes during meetings.

Great for a small company
Kommentare:
- Shared holiday calendar means all managers can see who is in/out at a glance (integrates very nicely in google apps)
- Our entire leave policy pretty much just references 'use timetastic'
- The cost is very much worth the benefits
Vorteile:
Timetastic was a big step up from our previous spreadsheet leave system. As the team expanded, it made it easy for us to have a 'proper' approval system for leave, avoid clashes between critical staff and scrap the rubbish paper calendar on the wall that no one ever bothered to look at! Our leave booking is now simple, and there is no excuse for forgetting to mark your holiday. The calendar sharing means I can see at a glance who is out of the office. We also use Timetastic for signess leave and tracking who is out the office for sales trips and meetings (an extra bonus)
Nachteile:
Some useful features are not there yet - If some staff get extra holidays each year, this cannot be done automatically - Holiday roll-over options are basic and may need manual tweaking at year end - Moving your holiday year end is a nightmare as you effectively have to 'start again', entering all holidays by hand (though to be fair this is not something you do frequently)

A real time saver!
Kommentare: We are really pleased with the software and think it will save us a lot of time in annual leave management. The service we've had has been great, everyone I've been in contact with has been very friendly and helpful. The 50% discount for Charities has also been a really great help for us and made the software much more accessible to us.
Vorteile:
The software is intuitive and easy to use. It copes well with the complexity of part time, flexible working that we have a lot of in our team. Being able to add a new schedule part way through the year is a great feature and will save us a lot of time going forward.
Nachteile:
We are tracking annual leave allowance by hours due to the varied working hours the team have (which is great), it would be great if there was a summary to equivalent days as well though so it was quick and easy for the employee and manager to see how much holiday was left in days rather than hours. It would also be useful to set a secondary approver for times when the first approver is off or away.
Timetastic Coments / Review
Kommentare: Its great to have so we know the whereabouts of the team as not everyone keeps an Outlook Calendar. Also people don't always have to ask me!! The guys are very efficient / on the ball at answering my questions.
Vorteile:
Its great to have a picture of all team members and where they are - be it on leave, on site etc. Easyish to use when people get the hang. Some people have trouble getting on in the first place (I think may be user error). Good for resourcing (when used properly).
Nachteile:
If we could have a bit more flexibility with leave etc. that has been input if we need to cancel just one day out of 7 for example. You need to cancel the whole request and resubmit. More colours for categories would be good too.

Excellent and efficient product!
Kommentare: Its been really positive, and we have had nothing but good reviews from all of our staff users.
Vorteile:
I love how user friendly this product is. It allows for cross department visibility and heightens communication across the users. I also like how great the help guides are for all staff to use.
Nachteile:
I wish that there was a "day swap" feature, for staff who perhaps work 4 days a week, sometimes they swap their working days around within the same week.
Great for Leave management
Kommentare: Timetastic have been very helpful in uploading users onto the system and assisting with any queries we have had. Also in the 4 years we have used Timetastic there has been a lot of useful new functionality added.
Vorteile:
Timetastic is easy for employees to use to request holidays and track leave days remaining, days in Lieu, etc. Also straightforward to setup users and approvers for each dept. Support has been very quick to respond to any queries we have had.
Nachteile:
It does everything we want and is straightforward.
Very Happy with Timetastic

Kommentare: Used for over 2 years now with no problems from an admin point. Employees also find it easy to use.

A perfect tool for SMB's to manage their absence calendars
Kommentare: By using Timetastic, we have reduced the chore of recording absences in multiple places from a six stage process down to two. At the same time we have been able to provide staff with access to the system via the app which allows them to see an overall picture of holiday requirements within the company on a 24/7 basis so they can make decisions about whether or not they will be able to book time off in a particular period..
Vorteile:
Timetastic gives you an extremely quick and simple way to manage all kinds of staff absences from holidays to sickness days and is flexible enough to be able to cover most scenarios within a business. In a world where some software is priced at a level where small businesses cannot even contemplate using it, Timetastic provides an excellent solution at an excellent per user price, and all without trying to lock you in to a restrictive contract term. Everything about the program is well designed and user friendly - staff love the ability to be able to request holidays at any time 24/7 using the app.
Nachteile:
There is not a lot to dislike about Timetastic, it does what it says on the tin. I could do with a couple of small features adding but they are just particular quirks to the way we work and may not be needed by everyone.

Kommentare: We really enjoy using Timetastic because it is a cost effective way to simply manage staff leave. The auto roll overs and approval process make the product great value for money.
Vorteile:
All of our staff use the system and it's features on a daily basis. We use the platform in our weekly priorities meeting to explain who has leave this week and any upcoming leave. Half of the team is based in Guernsey so we have utilised the custom holiday feature because in Guernsey we have a Liberation Day on May 9th, which is different to the UK.
Nachteile:
In an ideal world our team leave app would also tie into our scheduling app, which is Harvest Forecast. So there is extra duplication of time to set up holiday in Harvest once it has been approved in Timetastic.

Simple and Easy to Use
Kommentare: I have loved using Timetastic. It works exactly as it was pitched to us. Knowing your coworkers PTO schedule was overlooked before we started using Timetastic, but now I cannot imagine life without it.
Vorteile:
Timetastic is one of the cleanest and simplest tools I have ever used. It serves one purpose and it does it incredibly well. It provides a detailed look at the time off for everyone across our company. If I need to book a meeting, I always check my team's calendar first.
Nachteile:
There really isn't much to dislike. Timetastic is so simple and does its job so well. Some people might say that it is too simplistic from a UX perspective.
An easy to use and lightweight tool for our HR toolbox
Kommentare: I use it pretty much daily and have recommended it to other small business owners who were looking for a better way to keep on top of staff holidays and sickness.
Vorteile:
It's really simple to use both from a management point of view, and for individuals arranging holidays and logging sickness etc. Most importantly, it feels really lightweight and fast for everything and there isn't any unnecessary bloat getting in the way of just getting the job done.
Nachteile:
If I was picky, the reporting could be slightly more extensive but I'm really clutching at straws to fill out this required input box.
We like timetastic

As a Company we really like timetastic. It has benefited us as a business by streamlining the holiday request process and giving the Managers a departmental overview when holiday requests are made. Prior to timetastic we used paper holiday forms and the process was arduous.
timetastic is very cost effective too which is a benefit to us.
Vorteile:
As a small company we were looking for a cheap and easy to use system for our absent management - timetastic fitted that criteria. The staff like it and it's easy for everyone to use. its great that it works out the allowance when you set someone up.
Nachteile:
There are two flaws from my perspective: 1. The system does not allow you to put people on a flexible working pattern in the same group as people on a non flexible working pattern. People on a flexible working pattern's holiday allowance needs to be calculated including bank holidays which timetastic can cope with but not in a group where other people have a standard working pattern / holiday allowance. 2. If you book a block of holiday and need to remove one day for whatever reason, you have to remove the whole block and then update as individual days.

Timetastic
Kommentare: Before TT we used excel spreadsheets for holiday allowances, this was a nightmare. Now we can leave it up to the relevant department boss, track sick days, allocated days in lieu and also manage training and partner visits on the system. It does more than track holidays!
Vorteile:
The ease of use, being able to manage a number of employees with no hassle at all. Excellent system and cost effective too, would definitely recommend them.
Nachteile:
There is nothing I like least as it is perfect for our business
Makes vacation management quick and simple
Kommentare: We have been using Timetastic for a few years. It's affordable and easy to use. It integrates with chat platforms such as Slack to provide a daily digest of absences, so the whole team know who's off and when.
Vorteile:
It's simplicity and friendly appearance. It's great for managing time off on both HR and Employee's sides. They also offer mobile apps to quickly book time off.
Nachteile:
Not much. Although It would be great if there were some extra features (such as staff recognition).

Timetastic Review
Kommentare: A major step up from the last package we used. Easily customisable eg. leave authoriser, departments, countries public holidays. It just saves so much time from manual methods.
Vorteile:
- G Suite Integration - Slack Integration - working out of pro-rated holiday allowance - keeping track of lieu days - multiple Bank Holiday tracking ( For different Countries) Lots more.
Nachteile:
Only thing I wish it had was notification of work anniversaries.
Overall a positive experience
Kommentare: Previous holiday recording was extremely clunky, based upon email requests and approvals and an Excel log. Timetastic gives us far more flexibility and takes the onus off one Approver and easily delegates that to Line Managers.
Vorteile:
Simple to configure; intuitive for users; good VFM.
Nachteile:
One requirement which Timetastic could not meet is allowing a particular leave type to be only approved by a specific Administrator. We have the approval set per user to Dept Boss, and this is great for annual leave, sick leave, etc. but I have one leave type - Working from Home - which I would like only myself as Admin, not the Dept Bosses, to approve for all staff. As yet (with a Support call logged) I have not seen a work-around for this.

Timetastic is fabtastic!
Kommentare: We use Timetastic for absences relating to holidays, meetings, conferences, birthdays, sickness and remote working. It's a non-bloated simple and fast tool, which we only wish had better integration with Slack!
Vorteile:
The simplicity, the interface, and that it's made in the UK :)
Nachteile:
Love all of it, just WISH there was a way for it to show more information via the Slack integration, like what the time off is for (eg holiday, meeting, sickness) and if it could send the notification to slack the day BEFORE, not the actual morning of the event. PLEASE!!!
Straightforward and easy to use
Kommentare: It has saved us a lot of time, given staff a feeling of more control over their holiday booking and planning and saved us a lot of admin effort
Vorteile:
We like the fact that this has made our holiday booking quick and straightforward. It calculates part year holiday entitlement and is a clear and visible system and the approval process has been streamlined. The mobile app makes it very easy for out of hours use Reporting is easy too and has helped with mid-year planning
Nachteile:
There's not much that we don't like to be honest

Super easy for employers and employees to use!
Kommentare: The app is great for staff as they can book leave as and when the need arises (evenings and weekends) and the leave can be approved or declined by Managers with the click of a button. From an employers perspective we are notified of any department leave clashes prior to approving employee holiday requests and can address accordingly. Timetastic has been a definite time saver for us as we now no longer need to manually work out how many holidays people have used annually.
Vorteile:
We had an antiquated paper request and wall calendar system before Timetastic so anything would have been better. However, Timetastic exceeded our expectations both in design and ease of use. The simplistic approach makes it really user friendly for staff to book leave and have constant visibility of remaining leave for the year.
Nachteile:
There are no cons so far! We have found it to be exactly what we needed and should have implemented it years ago.
The Easiest Way to Track Attendance
Kommentare: We moved form a paper form request system to Timetastic which not only made the reqesting of leave more efficient but allowed us better plan business trips, meetings and events.
Vorteile:
Ease of use Quick, clear format for easy reference Easy to adapt to the needs of the individual customer Fast response time to any queries Amazing value for money!
Nachteile:
I would love this to link to onlin HR records systems - it is much easier to use than the holiday management processes included with many fully integrated packages.

Does exactly what we want it to do!
Kommentare: This is great for our business. It's these sort of apps that are perfect for a virtual business.
Vorteile:
It's ideal for us working in a distributed environment (everyone works from home across the UK). Makes it easy to submit and manage requests but, also, see at a glance who is out and in. We have also integrated it into our Slack instance so that we get channel alerts at the beginning of the day, telling everyone who is in and out. We use the Google calendar integration as well. The responsive design is good too.
Nachteile:
I'm struggling to think of anything that it doesn't provide us. Integration into personal Slack channels would be nice to manage personal leave via Slack.
