Easy backup solution for Salesforce

Kommentare: We use Skyvia for automated daily backups of our Salesforce CRM instance. It does that well, the user interface is clean and simple, and their customer support is good.

Vorteile:

Skyvia makes automatic cloud backups easy, at an affordable rate for a small company.

Nachteile:

Restoring data from a Skyvia backup could be a little more simple.

Salesforce connection with custom database

Vorteile:

Very easy to configure and get going. We used a partner to help, but could easily have learned how to use it and set it up without help. We were just operating on a very tight timeline and decided that buying the expertise would help us achieve our goal. We set up an integration between our Salesforce org and a custom-built on-premise database that is used every day. The integration runs three times per day, on a schedule, and that works wonderfully for us. I only contacted their support team once, so not much of a sample but my experience with the support team was very favorable. They responded quickly and resolved my issue satisfactorily. I have a very specific purpose for using Skyvia, so the number of features in the system is not that significant to me. However I am impressed by the number of connectors they have available.

Nachteile:

I don't have much to say about what I dislike. I'm very satisfied with the system. Perhaps the only issue would be the amount of record transfers that are included in the base price of the various product tiers. I understand the need to have flexible pricing, but perhaps the base packages could be expanded to include a larger amount of record transfers before the overage charge occurs.

Great connector

Kommentare: I crossed-shopped Skyvia with Windsor.AI and Weld.app, and Skyvia has the best price-functionality ratio in my opinion. I use it to export our HubSpot data to BigQuery with a daily replication schedule. It was easy to set up, and customer support has been super helpful. I’m not a professional data scientist, so I needed some hand-holding connecting it to our BigQuery account.

Vorteile:

Easy to set up and use; great customer support; great pricing and free-tier features.

Nachteile:

Nothing bad to report. It's been working great for us so far.

Great Potential Horrendus Customer Support

Kommentare: It's cool but frustrating especially with poor customer support.

Vorteile:

Intuitive, and does what we need it to do.

Nachteile:

The worst customer support. If you have an issue it will usually won't be addressed with an email for at least 24 hours. When you get a response it will most likely be a cut and paste from from their online documentation and very stingy on elaborating on how to really resolve an issue and trying to help.

Seamless message replication to databases

Vorteile:

There are many beautiful things about Skyvia. It's convenient and has really many cool features. I'd like to highligh some benefits that make sense in our integration case: 1. Replication frequency. We are under a free plan, and there is a possibility to replicate messages from Zoho CRM to a database once a day. That's fine in our case. Paid plans allow for more frequent data intervals as far as I know. 2. Tools supported. We use Zoho CRM, PostgreSQL, and MySQL for the integration flow. All these tools are supported by Skyvia, so it's easy to build different pipelines with these tools. For instance, first we replicate all data from Zoho CRM to PostgreSQL, and then sync only messages from PostgreSQL to MySQL. MySQL is the base underlies our website and we extract those messages for publishing testimonials and customers reviews. 3. Easy to set up. Any action in Skyvia keeps a user, even not very technically equipped, entertained. You don't feel frustrated because of complex interface or functions. Everything is super clear and made with humans in mind.

Nachteile:

Actually, Skyvia satisfies all our goals related to the data integration. We are happy with it. Perhaps an abundant onboarding training for clearing everything up would be great. Just it helps users to get acquainted with the existing functionality, and comprehend the potential of Skyvia. Actually, Skyvia satisfies all our goals related to the data integration. Easy Solution for Complex Problems

Vorteile:

The onboarding was incredibly simple, the tool is intuitive and it's features are straightforward in use. There's so much documentation on how to use the tools and get the most out of them.

Nachteile:

Export scheduling could use a few more options, such as biweekly or every third Saturday, but those are super specific "nice to haves". This tool has met every need I've asked of it.

Skyvia has really changed our business for the better!

Salesforce Integration to the Rescue!

Vorteile:

Skyvia has been a simple tool to connect our Grant Management software SmartSimple to Salesforce. I appreciate that it sends daily reports and notifications of any synchronization errors. The volume of data we can integrate has been very good value for us!

Nachteile:

We've had no issues with Skyvia's service

Less Data Sources, more data sources can be added, where data can be transported from Database to Database

Great tool

Vorteile:

The price! Also being able to populate fields across many objects at the same time and then load the changes. That's great in comparison to a tool like Data Loader for example where you cannot load to multiple objects.

Nachteile:

Because we use Salesforce with Causeview a transaction has 3-4 objects (Transaction, Allocation, Payment and Soft Credit). We sometimes have difficulty uploading the payments and allocations when linked together. So for each load we need an additional step for linking those 2 objects together. As Skyvia populates the fields of different objects at the same time, and sometimes this produces errors.

User-friendly and easy to understand environment

Vorteile:

Good. I've been passively using Skyvia since your early days. The product improved a lot and I hope Skyvia will be able to be better than Dell Boomi one day. The product is much simpler for people with a non-tech background.

Nachteile:

While using Google Drive to pick-up a CSV file, if the CSV file is deleted from the folder and a new file with the same name is uploaded to the same folder, the process on Skyvia needs to be updated as a file becomes missing from Import Task -> Source Definition.

Salesforce backups + Query

Kommentare: We use it for automated Salesforce backups that we need to store for years because of legal obligations.
We often need to query data for specific purposes - for example when a financial auditor needs a random contract or invoice. What's remarkable - that querying directly in Salesforce may take some time, and querying within Skyvia Backup is lightning fast.

Vorteile:

I like the granularity - I'm allowed to create specific datasets and restore specific records instead of running the full restoration process, as our Salesforce backups are quite large.

Nachteile:

Not long ago Skyvia team added a possibility to delete multiple backup files manually to free the disk space. That's nice to have, although I'd prefer for old versions of backup to be deleted automatically, as I may not always remember to free the disk space in time. It would be great to be able to schedule the backup deletion as well as we schedule its creation.

Your tool is very intuitive and easy to learn

Vorteile:

As a solution architect I've used you product to pitch to customers and positioned Skyvia as a medium to enterprise grade integration solution with a lot of OOB connectors.

Nachteile:

It would be nice to see some more customer loyalty programs. For example, I should probably get early adopter pricing or discounts.

Skyvia Backup for Zoho CRM data

Kommentare: We use Skyvia Backup to run automatic daily backups of our Zoho CRM data. So all I need to do is just periodically login to compare different backup versions by dates to see what's changed or got missing (sometimes happens with our customer support team), and restore some particular record by request.

Vorteile:

I like that I haven't thought about Skyvia Backup since we've scheduled it for our Zoho CRM. It works like a charm, saving our developers and admins several working weeks a year because they do not have to back up data manually.

Nachteile:

I would like to receive email or push notifications on the successful backup creation, not only on failed ones.

Great tool for a number of reasons

Vorteile:

We use Skyvia for importing data into our medical claims database with Salesforce. The scheduled importing via ftp is very useful for us and the ability to be flexible and customize the imports that we do has been a huge boost to our company. It has allowed us to be much more efficient.

Nachteile:

It would be helpful if there were better documentation. Or training videos available.

Ease of Use and able to test right from the beginning

Kommentare: SkyVia is being used to provide the bi-directional interface between SalesForce and our ERP Data warehouse. It has performed wonderfully in setting up various integration jobs that can be scheduled to implement the interfaces in a fraction of the time it would take on other systems.

Vorteile:

The documentation for the software was excellent, which made the setup for connecting to the SQL and SalesForce sources quite easy to accomplish. The integration steps are easy to setup and with the free version you can test the software to make sure it will meet your needs.

Nachteile:

It would be better if the backup solution did more than just the data when backing up SalesForce data. The backup feature doesn't handle the metadata and the files like other robust backup solutions.

Skyvia helps to automate marketing efforts

Kommentare: Our main goal was data replication from SF into SQL Server db for further data analysis.

I like that the user interface is both powerful and simple. There is no need to write a code or read tonns of documentation. Skyvia is fast to set up and easy to use.

Nachteile:

Honestly, I can't say anything bad. Skyvia is fantastic.

I think Skyvia is an amazing tool and I had great experience with customer service. I was interacting with Mariia. She was very knowledgeable, responsive and helpful.

Nachteile:

Can't remember anything. Skyvia engineering team was also fast at adding missing features and enhancing the service quickly.

Great functionality

I like Skyvia very much. The functionality totally fits our needs so far, which is why we moved to a paid subscription.

Nachteile:

The record limitations on free accounts and also the lower plans are (in my opinion) waay to restrictive.

Best for Data Back Up

Kommentare: It is a solution to our need to back up our client data in Hubspot.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to use even for a newbie like me who has to be the administrator.

Nachteile:

I have so far nothing that I dislike with Skyvia.

Back up Salesforce data in the cloud

Kommentare: Besides backup it is really useful that solution allows you to recover lost data. Working with snapshots is quite easy and I like that I can select specific data that I want to restore.

Vorteile:

I had a requirement to protect my business’ critical data. Skyvia Backup eliminated a potential risk of loosing Salesforce data. Now all the data is protected and available for restore.

Nachteile:

In general everything is okay but it would be great if Skyvia Backup could restore polymorphic relations.

Skyvia Backup for HubSpot

Kommentare: We use Skyvia Backup to backup our HubSpot CRM data. We have a big sales department working with HubSpot, so the threat of accidental data deletion and overwriting is always there. We create backups on weekly basis and the service seems to do the job well

Vorteile:

I like the user interface, and the responsiveness of a support team - all our issues have been resolved in a timely manner

Nachteile:

Currently it is not possible to automatically delete old backups, so I need to do it manually

Very Useful tool if you know how to use it.

Vorteile:

This application can import virtually anything and export it into another application. I've used it to solve some major issues but didn't have the time to really see what this can do.

Nachteile:

This is a powerful tool that is sometimes very hard to troubleshoot. I hope that i can learn more in the future.

So far we are very happy using Skyvia

Vorteile:

Most important for us is the support of different connectors, including cloud apps and relational databases.

Nachteile:

I believe Skyvia service should increase the functionality to allow different invoice addresses, etc.
