The only "con" is NOT using Shippo

Kommentare: Imagine for a moment you are at a 6-star beach resort on a gorgeous archipelago somewhere. You arrived on a private jet and have been picked up in a limo of your choosing. You are now walking along the beach with sandals in one hand an oversized umbrella and a fruit-laden cocktail in the other. Dolphins are leaping out of the water a few feet (meters) from shore. The sun is reflecting off the crystal blue water. The blood orange and yellow shimmer dances gayly on top of the waves...u get it I think!!!

Vorteile:

Super easy to use and set up and link your various shipping accounts. They make it almost whimsically easy to "test" the product with a forever free account. Savings for free and paid accounts are the same. Today (May 20, 2021) I saved 32% on USPS and a whopping 62% on UPS!! I have been typically just printing labels from the namesake sites and thought the claims of savings were "up to" claims and the reality was going to be fairly negligible. Think eBay and then they turn around a charge you for buying shipping through them completely negating or making it more expensive to ship through eBay. NOT Shippo! Not only is it free and commission-free but they REALLY do have great rates and the savings are LEGIT not "UP TO" BS but real money! Heck if you are an eBay seller you would be foolish if you didn't give Shippo a whirl! So, in short, I love the money I save, the ease of set-up and use and the customer support is fast and furious. I HATE bot customer support in general but Shippo is pretty, pretty, pretty good too!

Nachteile:

Overall with the free account that I have, I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about it. If I wanted to channel my inner "Karen" I could groan loudly in my best Jewish whine, I want to integrate more shipping channels without paying to upgrade, but free UPS and USPS are good enough for my needs!

Great Shipping Solution

Vorteile:

I like that Shippo is easy to integrate with e-commerce sites like eBay and Etsy. I sell vinyl decals on both sites and it is very easy to sync unfulfilled orders. The software imports the customer's address perfectly and does an address verification before you purchase the shipping label. After the label is printed, the software automatically notifies the e-commerce site that the order has been shipped and posts the tracking number for the customer to view. This has been a huge time saver for me.

Nachteile:

The software works very well for me and I have not found any cons to it.

Shippo is the tool for every shipment

Vorteile:

Information can be transferred direcetly from ebay. No special input is required to ship the package.

Nachteile:

We need some effort to input information if the transaction is not from ebay.

Covers Multi Platforms

Vorteile:

I love that I can ship orders from several of my on-line stores form one location. My orders from Etsy and my own websight automaticly get sent to Shippo so I can prepare my shipping label and packing slip from one spot.

Nachteile:

Sometimes I want to refund partial shipping cost to a customer if it cost less to ship then they were charged. I see no where I can do it from the Shippo sight so I still have to go back to Etsy or my sight and prepare their refund.

Forget the others... Shippo is my go to!

Kommentare: I have loved doing my order fulfillment with Shippo. Having a platform that could show me my options for carrier/speed/rate is extremely helpful and it allows us to very seamlessly fulfill orders for our customers! 10/10 recommended to anyone shipping packages!

Vorteile:

- integration with Shopify - option to default export as 4x6 labels (Perfect for my Dymo 4XL printer) - easy to use interface - customize packing slip with logo - competitors often have ugly branding on the shipping label, but Shippo elegantly has a cute hippo!

Nachteile:

- modifying the packing list in Shippo is available in some cases, but often when I needed it, it was disabled. - the verification process for new account sign ups currently has a manual verification via email with customer service representatives which could be automated.

Retiree Shipping From Home

Kommentare: Being retired I love that I can ship from home with your super good rates. I buy and sell online and you have the best choice of shippers and rates.

Vorteile:

I like the easiness. And the competitive pricing. I like to ship from home without having to go somewhere else. I love the competitive choices of how to ship and how much to spend. I can print and ship any time day or night.

Nachteile:

I would like to be able to get an estimate based on zip codes and package size before I commit a name and address.

A Great Shipping Software for Multiple Carriers in One Place

Kommentare: I use this to ship products from my online store. Shippo integrates with many retail sites to import sales and shipping info to limit manual mistakes. I integrate it with a Wix store.

Vorteile:

I like that I can purchase shipping for USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. all in the same place. I get discount rates and quick replies from email support.

Nachteile:

I don't exactly like seeing the Shippo logo on shipping labels, however, I use Acrobat to remove that and put my company's logo on the shipping labels instead.

Great for starter business!

Kommentare: Great to start off my ecomm business but note you may outgrow it. Easy to scale however.

Vorteile:

Great and eays to use. syncs with several marketplaces

Nachteile:

Does not integrate well with Canadian marketplaces yet.

Shippo is a great integration for our Fedex mailer needs

Kommentare: Fedex was able to integrate via our CRM to provide a holistic view of our shipment expenses.

Vorteile:

Shippo provides instant access to our shipping metrics and where our mailers are being sent

Nachteile:

Not much, the integration with Fedex and our CRM was quite smooth

Love Shipping With Shippo

Vorteile:

Fast, convenient, easy and money-saving, I use Shippo for online orders.

Nachteile:

No cons, I use this several times a week

Highly recommended

Kommentare: My experience has been wonderful. I have 0 complaints & love the ease of use, affordability & options Shippo provides.

Vorteile:

I love that Shippo links directly to my website. It not only automatically brings orders into the program for easy use, it also automatically send my customers their tracking information without me having to do anything extra! The prices are very fair & I like that there is no monthly fee.

Nachteile:

I wish there was an “address book” of sorts, so I could save the names/addresses of the people I ship to most often.

A real lifesaver

Vorteile:

It is so easy to fill out the form and see what my best shipping options are. Once I have printed my shipping label I can request pick up from USPS. It makes shipping so much easier than it used to be.

Nachteile:

I've had numerous added charges for shipping. USPS saying the package weighed more than I entered. I know this happens but the charges are from months ago (sometimes 4 to 5 months later). So it is hard to follow ups on.

Affordable Shipping Needs

Vorteile:

The biggest takeaway is getting the best price using the biggest shipping companies.

Nachteile:

Maybe updating the interface could be helpful and get a wider audience.

It's okay

Kommentare: It is integrating and pulling the addresses and order in which frees up manpower for our tiny company.

Vorteile:

We upgraded our website and needed something that would integrate with Wordpress, and this was the option recommended by our web developer.

Nachteile:

It seems glitchy, we've entered our products and each time they come into shippo, it should be selecting the package size and the shipping carrier and speed, but sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Disappointing so far for a shipping program with a monthly fee on top of the shipping label costs.

I use Shippo everyday for my small business needs!! 12/10

Vorteile:

I like the easy integration and streamlined packing and shipping for my business. I can group similar weighted items and print labels in batches along with free manifest forms that make it easy for USPS to handle my packages in bulk.

Nachteile:

It would be useful to have a data export feature for shipments. Logistic data analytics would help small businesses more!

Shippo Has Saved Me a Lot of Money

Kommentare: It has saved me $1-2 per package, which over time adds up. The integration with my host/processor was extremely simple and flawless.

Vorteile:

The ease of integration with my hosting/processing company was exceptional. The shipping rates are lower than many other alternatives.

Nachteile:

I wish it were easier to create a new one-off order entry from within Shippo or to obtain rates without having to create a new entry and then hide it afterwards since it can't be deleted. There really needs to be an easier way to reprint a label after the initial pop-up is gone.

Thee Game Changer!

Kommentare: I love Shippo period and point blank!

Vorteile:

Shippo is extremely easy to use! It has been a game changer for my business, literally no taping labels to boxes anymore, no waiting to track orders, no having to personally communicate with customers about their order, no having to translate from my business to shippo and orders, Shippo does all of that!

Nachteile:

The only con is that I wish there was a delete and a hide button instead of just a hide button, because I don’t want to have to look at orders that were picked up/dropped off, that will never get shipped. I want to be able to delete. Definitely not a deal breaker though, it’s an OCD thing.

I'm liking Shippo

Vorteile:

I like that I can pay per use with Shippo. I have a small online business so I don't have a ton of orders in one day as it varies. Pricing is inexpensive which is a plus for me. Everything is one place and can enter new orders manually too.

Nachteile:

My only problem is sell on several selling venues including my website which currently does not support Shippo so orders have to entered manually. This slows you down a little but still prefer to use Shippo than with the "other" shipping platforms that I have tried. I hope some day soon that Shippo will be integrated with my website to make things a whole easier.

Shippo Has Made Shipping a Breeze

Kommentare: Using Shippo has really helped me with an easy way to ship sample boxes from one customer to another at very reasonable costs.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to use and saves me money! I highly recommend anyone that needs to ship anything try Shippo. I think they will be glad they did.

Nachteile:

Nothing. I really like it. The ease of use and the pricing makes it wonderful.

Shipping made easy with Shippo

Kommentare: The Shippo software has worked great. I do not think there would be a more economical product out there on the market. Shippo is really reasonable in their rates and this helps with a smaller company. The only comment I would make in regards to improvement is it would be nice if the Live Chat was available more often. There have been a number of times that I have not been able to reach via live chat and have to send and wait for an email response. But they are good at responding. The live chat does help as often the question comes up as you are trying to ship and need to "chat" right away.

This product has integrated very well with BigCommerce and works great. Provides all the features required to print shipping labels etc.

Nachteile:

The only con is what is mentioned below regarding that it would be helpful if the Live Chat was available more often.

Shippo or bust!

Kommentare: Overall my experience has been outstanding. I can't believe how easy it and cost-effective it makes my shipping process. Shipping is my biggest headache in my business and this has streamlined it so much that I now actually look forward to getting to go on Shippo because I know it will be easy.

Vorteile:

Shippo has hands-down the best rates for all shipping companies, that I've found, including at the shipping companies' own store locations. I use UPS and USPS most frequently and always get better rates on Shippo then I do in-person at their locations.

Nachteile:

The only complaint I have is that sometimes an address will auto-populate that's close to the address I'm typing in, but not the correct one. It's almost like it will sometimes not find the street address that I need so instead it auto-populates the nearest address, even though it's the wrong one. Sometimes I don't even notice this until it's too late because it just auto-populates and I assume it was finding the correct address.

Easy and simple to use.

Kommentare: Love it, will use it as long as I'm in business!

Vorteile:

This software is very simple to use. I like that I never have an issue with an order now coming through from my marketplace or Etsy accounts. The sync feature is great when I have multiple orders coming through, and being able to toggle between fulfilled and unfilled orders is helpful on busy days. My favorite part of this software is the email at the end of the month showing me how far my packages traveled, my most shipped to state and other interesting facts.

Nachteile:

This function might already exist but I haven't discovered it, but it would be nice to see a delivered next to the shipments that have been delivered, rather than having to travel to the carrier site.

Perfect at home shipping tool

Kommentare: Shippo has helped my business financially. I ship USPS packages frequently and using this software has saved me a bunch of money.

Vorteile:

Shippo is very easy to use and does not require a monthly fee and you still receive a discounted rate on your shipping purchases.

Nachteile:

The software is always refreshing so it does take some patience to use it. After entering package details, it refreshes; after entering weight, it refreshes, etc. Would like to be able to tab quickly through in entering details.

Game Changer for my Small Business

Kommentare: From day 1, Shippo has allowed me to run my business effectively. I actively recommend the service to anyone in my field looking to ship products.

Vorteile:

Shippo has allowed me to significantly expand my customer base by giving me efficient shipping means. I am able to ship all over the country easily because of the software. It helps my at home small business look even more professional to customers.

Nachteile:

My e-commerce platform (Castiron) does not currently integrate with Shippo so I have to enter in each address. But that is something Castiron needs to adjust.

I love this company!

Kommentare: My experience with them is great! I highly recommend them!

Vorteile:

They are software is so easy to use! It imports my orders into their software and all I need to put in is the package size and weight. It instantly calculate the cost for shipping and I can choose from there. Printing out a label is so easy with them!

Nachteile:

I have nothing negative to say. Maybe just a little more user-friendly, but it is still pretty easy!
