Safety Texting Application

Kommentare: Very easy to setup, and sales reached out to me to provide a better plan for me.

Vorteile:

We use this service to send out mass safety alerts for Job sites. This has become a vital part of our safety culture and was extremely easy to set up. We used the out of the box groups and keywords to build our job site distribution lists.

Better logging on all API calls and connections to Power BI

EZ Text - Truly Easy!

Kommentare: My boss is very happy with the results we have achieved from our EZ texts and for that I am pleased.

Vorteile:

It is affordable and relatively user-friendly. I can get my messages out whenever I need to send a blast. I also enjoy that our groups and people can respond back so I can get head counts for events when folks RSVP.

Nachteile:

The website is not very attractive. It's a bit dull, but that's okay, and I honestly prefer it. The simplicity and lack of issues when sending or creating make it worth it. I like it.

Customer Support is non existent

Kommentare: 7-8 days over the past year, I have encountered issues with reports and data not reflecting uploads and transactions.

Vorteile:

I can use the same set up on a daily basis.

Nachteile:

When it is not uploading information correctly and I report it via text or form, I have never received a response. Eventually the issue is fixed but there is no interaction with a live man or woman available.

Kommentare: OVERALL ITS POSITIVE AND STRAIGT FORWARD.IT IS ASO EASY TO SET UP.

Vorteile:

Ez texting in my opinion is user friendly, and works well for people who are not tech savvy .Engagement rate is very high and allows for automation and scheduling of sending SMS

Nachteile:

What I did not like about Ez texting is that you pay according to the volume of the text you are sending .meaning the longer the text the more you pay. There is limited customer support. There was increase risk of spam.

Great service at a great price!

Kommentare: As a business owner, EZ Texting has been phenomenal. We own an estate sale company and when we do cells, we allow people to sign up to receive texts when we are doing another one. Our sign up participation has been really good. EZ Texting goes very well with the rest of our advertising!

Vorteile:

The cost in the age of using EZ Texting are great! I like receiving the results of the texts as soon as they have been sent that way, I know my bounce right immediately.

Nachteile:

There are really no cons. It’s a fantastic service and I recommend it to everyone.

After sending out the SMS notices the report is very helpful. making sure everyone has received the updates

We currently only have one user account, not a current issue, however, as we grow that might be a concern.

How easy it is to send group messages and to schedule messages as well!

Nachteile:

When uploading a spreadsheet with contacts, it may notify you that a certain number of contacts weren't uploaded but it won't tell you why or which ones. It's hard to have to go one by one to see which one did not upload

Beware: Your Unused Credits Expire!

Kommentare: Mass texting is a great business solution but I would be looking for another company to work with if it weren't basically impossible to do that without losing all of our following. Once you start with them, I don't see how you could ever switch to another company, so do your research. The other major con of EZ TEXT is that you can only run one company per account. So say for example, you own more than one restaurant and you need more than one account to sent out messages- you would have to have two separate accounts with this platform.

Vorteile:

It's relatively easy to learn how to use and the customer service chat works very quickly.

Nachteile:

BEWARE: If you don't use your credits within 12 months they will expire (in other words: if you don't text the entire amount of times/numbers that you have paid for within 12 months you're outta luck-- or money rather). Our company only lost about $100 but I imagine it could be alot more, depending on how much you are planning to text. When I called to try and figure out where all of my missing credits were, they offered to add the equivalent of $25 back to my account. This is technology- there is no reason why they couldn't just give me back all that I paid for, that was unused, as a one time courtesy. I was on a default setting to keep adding credits to my account when I got to a certain number. Don't get me wrong, I should have read the fine print, but NOBODY wants to pay for something that they don't get to use. If I wanted to do that, I would join a gym.

I've Enjoyed This For More Than A Year!

Kommentare: Overall, I like the service and have used it for more than a year now. Pricing is good, ability to send pics and emojis is definitely useful and has proven to increase open rates and engagement.

Vorteile:

I like being able to use it from the web.

Nachteile:

I wish the iPhone app was more user friendly and had tools like being able to send a group text, sort the messages by status, keep a "THREAD" going with an address more easily.

Kommentare: I highly recommend it. I have implemented it with other clients (I also have a small marketing agency), and it's perfect. There are not too many bells and whistles, which I like. It just gets the job done very efficiently.

Vorteile:

It was very simple to setup and get up and running. Dumping our phone list was painless. I had our first text out in under 10 minutes. The reporting is almost immediate and keywords easy to implement. We use this in conjunction with a fraternal order and the golf league. It's ideal for keeping people informed and even the seniors have phones that receive texts. They love it.

Nachteile:

I haven't found anything not to like yet. Easy, cost-effective and does the job.

It was fairly easy to use and to create text messages. We used it and zapped it to other software systems that would trigger the text messages. I liked the reporting.

Nachteile:

Some features were confusing. I didn't love the management of the contacts in the system.

Customer service is not responding to our failed text campaign

Kommentare: We were trying to send a launch campaign, when you attempted to send them,our messages were rejected with the carriers. Our experience with Eztexting's customer support team has not been so great.I attempted to get in touch with them, what communication you received from them, and they didnt respond to our concerns.They want us to buy another expensive service but no comments on the failed campaign and way to refund the spend we did.

Immediate Alert to Parents

Vorteile:

EZ Texting helped remind our parents about our summer reading program. Attendance was high because parents remembered! I was also able to attach RSVPs and get immediate feedback. Parents could opt out at anytime.

Nachteile:

The only frustration is having to figure out whose text didn't go through.

Great SMS marketing

Kommentare: From the time I signed up to sending my first message, it was all very intuitive. I'm used to email marketing and this works in a very similar way. So similar I'm surprised the email programs don't have it. But maybe it's better to have it separate. At least this is simple and fun to use.

It's easy to use and does exactly what I wanted: bulk texting

Nachteile:

The only thing I'd like added (and I haven't used all features yet to be sure) is in contact deletion: when I send a manual follow-up message to a group of people I recently contacted about coming to our concert, I clone the group, then delete the contacts that already responded they couldn't attend the event. This seems to be done one by one. It would be nice to be able to select multiple contacts. But it's a small thing.

Kommentare: Overall i like EZ texting. I wish i could stay for longer, because i`m loyal customer, but bad delivery rates+you paying for SMS which are was NOT DELIVERED. Sad. I wish i could come back......

Vorteile:

I love everything about Ez Texting accept 2 things i will describe in "I don`t like section"

Nachteile:

-Price is high compare to other platforms...and agree to pay this price if my messages will be delivered, but... -Bounce rate-50%, 60%, even if i know that those numbers are valid, because we are doing phone calls to our customers and communicate with them often (gym members). Those bad delivery rates company started to receive starting from November 2021.

The Great Automator!

Kommentare: If that's even a word! ... EzTexting has been great at keeping in touch with my clients and students no matter how near or far they may be. I teach several classes weekly and sending out reminders to sign-up has never been easier with it's scheduler. Just create the message and then select the day(s), time, and frequency and EzTexting does the rest. I dinged one star on ease of use because once you schedule a recurring text, it becomes a bit difficult if you want to amend it in some way be it the message, day, or time. I've also been able to use it for contests and to gauge opinions of several people at once instead of individually messaging them. If you're not already using EzTexting, I'd recommend you give it a try. If you're a smaller business or just getting started like I was, the free account is very generous. The one time I had to contact customer support was due to some glitch and they were very helpful.

Vorteile:

It's a labor saver!

Nachteile:

A slightly circumvolution method of editing/amending scheduled texts, but a minor con in my eyes.

Great Idea but Not useful

Kommentare: wouldnt let me use the product they way I have been for over a year then all the suddenly decides im not legit. Refused to credit back to me my unused credits that purchased in good faith. I actually increased my monthly credit expenditure and was excited to move forward then they abruptly want to shut down my process. There are plenty of Other platforms/apps out there that will allow me(and you) to reach customers via text in an easy and affordable way.

Vorteile:

Appealing platform with the ability to send messages to customers

Nachteile:

The company doesnt want you to send messages to your customer database if they dont like how your customers opted in to receive those messages. It might be difficult to prove to them your systematic process of acquiring the data if you have various methods of getting clients/customers/prospects to request information from your company.

Safety texts review

Kommentare: I think things have worked out really well. Still learning. But I think the system is set up pretty good.

Vorteile:

We use this software as a daily safety text. We are a non profit that cleans trash out of the river. Are job is very dangerous always being on water in boats and on barges. Safety is our number one focus. The texts help a lot as a daily reminder

Nachteile:

So far I haven’t run into many problems?

Kommentare: It is definitely not the best option and is not a software we would ever suggest to one of our clients. Stay away from EZTexting go with another SMS service instead

Very simple interface to navigate. Getting setup takes a matter of minutes and is easy to jump into.

Nachteile:

The Customer Support team is one of the worst I have ever experienced. The account rep who initially got us set up subscribed us to add ons we told him we did not want or need. We were unaware that the add ons were even there until we were hit with the bill and the customer support team told us they would not help and if we cancelled our accounts they would delete our credits if we closed our account. The service itself is not great, the texting is difficult for customers to use and the software does not integrate into slack which would make responding to inbound texts easier. Stay away, and use something else.
