The sales team and project management team were wonderful. Unfortunately day-of support was severely lacking and I was left scrambling.
It takes months to get any contracting work done from them, and they miss basic considerations that we were upfront about when we signed on with this product.

One Stop Software!
Kommentare: After an extensive 5 year search I was introduced to Configio. It's a one stop shop for companies that are looking to consolidate various business software programs into one robust system. One of the best aspects of Configio is their customer and technical support team! Unlike some software companies, Configio is always available and open to suggestions on how to make improvements. I couldn't recommend a better software program for your business!
Vorteile:
One stop shop to address all my company's software needs.
Nachteile:
I would like to see improvements to make the software more user friendly. The challenge of being able to tackle so many software components is a task within itself. However the design elements of creating product forms / lists / etc. have to be more straight forward so that a 5 year old could figure it out. My suggestions would be a step by step method on building products and addressing various features.
MCE created a bespoke on line registration, e-commerce, CRM program for our sports company.
Kommentare: The team at MCE were selected to create an e commerce platform for Challenger Sports that would allow hundreds of thousands of customers each year to search, register and pay for one of our 5,000+ soccer coaching programs throughout North America. They also created an on line shop that acted both as a stand alone store and as an additional revenue source during the registration process. Following the successful launch of this application, MCE created a custom CRM program for Challenger which is now used to manage the sales and marketing process of over 100 employees in 12 offices. The transition from our previous program took several months to complete and as with any change we encountered challenges and issues that we did not anticipate. Each time MCE were quick to respond and frequently worked outside of traditional office hours to correct the problems. The event registration application has proved be extremely robust and we have had no bandwidth issues with hundreds of customers registering at the same time. MCE also provides a built in email marketing program which has not only proved to be extremely useful but has also saved money that was previously spent on stand alone email marketing fees. The MCE application has an initially intimidating learning curve due to the large number of controls and flexibility given to each user to customize the environment, variable data, images, videos, copy, transaction emails and financial set up of the events being run. However if my team of British Soccer coaches can master the process then I am confident others in business should have no problem!
Lots of options
Kommentare: Their customer support is top notch and willing to help, walk you through, and assist in setting things up. The Unfortunate part is that they are needed to do these things, because the system is hard to navigate.
Vorteile:
The software has a lot offered, can be customized for your company, and it’s nice having everything in one system.
Nachteile:
It is hard to navigate, reports are not available to show everything needed or impossible to build without a Computer Engineering degree.
Excellent LMS software
Kommentare: Configio has been extraordinary in answering my questions and addressing all of my concerns with my non traditional, challenge oriented training website. If they didn't know the answer to a question, they would tell me and would get back with me. There have been several serious concerns that Teri has responded to that have convinced me without any doubt that I have made the right choice. She definitely has my respect and our business.
Vorteile:
It does everything I want it to do. We sell online training for moving company employees and management through a monthly subscription.
Nachteile:
It requires a learning the software which I have little time to do but then again, any software programs will require time.
Configio Review
Kommentare: I find the cloning of items with variations still involves too much work in terms of having to set up all of the dates info for each session three times if you have three variations. Also, I find the newsletter creation to be to cumbersome and prone to formatting gaffes when inserting and copying info from prior newsletters.
Fantastic Service, Great Company
Kommentare: Configio provided me with a professional platform that is easy-to-use and allows me to run my business. I use the platform as a learning management system in which my customers can create account profiles, purchase products, and complete courses. There are multiple ways that I can communicate with my customers through Configio including email campaigns, social media posts, and certificate downloads. Configio stayed true to its name in that the platform has been configured to meet my company's and customer's specific needs. I highly recommend Configio as it is a wonderful value with truly helpful and personal customer service. I love interacting with the employees of Configio...they really care.
Vorteile:
It is easy to use and fully adaptable to my needs. I love that I can see both the administrator and customer perspectives. The menus are intuitive and the training is extremely helpful.
Nachteile:
I still have a lot to learn as my business grows and needs change, but I know that Configio customer service is only a call, email, or chat away.
Configio - Excellent Product - Outstanding Staff
Kommentare: The team at Configio has been an exceptional business partner! We needed to shift our manual registration procedure to an online tool that would simplify and streamline our entire registration process. We had many obstacles to overcome and customization that was required to meet our needs. Configio was able to do just that! Joe, our rep, always provides us with exemplary customer service! He is quick to respond and is creative in finding solutions.

Steep learning curve. Configio is a robust, in-depth registration management system so it takes time to learn, but it is worth the time invested.
Configio: Our New Registration System
Kommentare: Last fall, our parent company notified our department we would be getting a great, new class registration system. We were so very pleased because the system we were currently using was old, slow, and did not allow for online registration. At first glance, we were impressed with this new system as it is well organized, visually appealing, and responds quickly. Over the past several months, we have input thousands of product events, set up many forms, attachments, and emails, and successfully received thousands of class registrations. Configio, with all that it offers, holds a significant learning curve, but with the help of many on the support team, we are up and running so to speak. Every day we learn something new and discover the may ways in which this new system can benefit us and our customers. We are most pleased with Configio!

Software that catered to my needs with excellent customer service!
Kommentare: I decided to move all of our camp registrations (about 650) to MCE in 2013 to help with the organization of information, and to streamline a class scheduling option that is specific to our camp. Initially hesitant to make the switch, I was adamant that MCE provide me with assistance in setting up our software, creating schedule templates, and helping our camp go 'paperless' with medical forms and HR being completely online. Not only did MCE assist me in every way that they could during the first few months of my contract to make the change go smoothly, they ensured that I receive the same customer care to this day. It's important to me that I can pick up the phone (even though their company is on pacific time, and we are eastern) and know that I am going to speak with someone who knows my program and who can help me work through any issues I may be having. MCE worked hard to make sure that I was a happy customer from day 1, designing our camper scheduling that had always been a huge, stressful, paper project each summer. To this day, we make time to schedule improvements and the customer service reps make sure that they communicate new tools within the software. I am happy we choose MCE for our camp registrations!
Great Hearts PM Experience
Kommentare: As being tasked by my organization to deploy and train all schools on their database; Initially it was a lot to understand how to work the system. However with the amazing customer service I am able to learn quickly and efficiently regarding questions I have. Configio does so much and I learn new things every time I call in.
Vorteile:
Once trained, easy to understand the flow of how work gets done in the system.
Nachteile:
The recurring set up is confusing and doesn't seem to offer every possible solution.
Challenger Sports and MCE Partnership
Kommentare: We entered into a partnership with MCE around 2 years ago now. I really got involved as our point person for all program building, shopping cart usage and CRM training for our 70+ staff nationally. It has been a huge change to the way we have previously worked as a company and the options with MCE have meant we have taken our company out of the dark ages and really standardized everything we do through one platform! Every step of the way the support from ALL at MCE has been top notch. They listen to ideas, and we have had more than a few :), and will do all they can to implement them in accordance with the deadlines we request. We continue to evolve and come up with new ideas, and in just 2 years we have seen how much their platform evolves with the needs of its customers. 100% recommendation for this platform from Challenger Sports!!!!
Best customer service, best response to issues, and software is easy to use.
Kommentare: I have worked with My Custom Event for over five years. We just signed a new five year contract for our summer programs and a special custom software that we use to schedule student trips. My Custom Event worked with our school to create a custom piece of software that made our lives so much easier. The staff and CEO have been great to work with. It was awesome working with Bob Bailey on our custom software and he has been so responsive to changes that continue to improve our product. Our Summer Camp Director has expressed extreme satisfaction with the summer camp program. He loves working with the staff at My Custom Event and had no problem committing to a new five year deal to continue to use the software. Check it out!
Good service with MCE
Kommentare: Product has certainly improved with time. It was a difficult at the beginning to figure out how the system works. I do believe that if was set up properly for what were trying to accomplish, it would have been easier. Unfortunately the team at our company did not have a good sense of direction for what we needed. This was no fault of the developers at MCE. The best part about our service with MCE is the customer service. Our rep Rick Willett has been willing and able to help in every way possible. He is extremely informative and has answered all of my questions with great detail and enthusiasm. I can tell he has a genuine appreciation for the product and is hands down an excellent asset My Custom Event.
Perfect Software for Growing Company
Kommentare: Enjoyed working with staff as customer service with everyone I came into contact with was over the top. Was so exciting to see very professional software/website on my small company budget. They were able to quickly customize my site and I knew in the event things went through the roof the site could handle the traffic. There are so many back end features and reports that it took me a little while to understand but in every case I requested something, if it wasn't there they said they could do it. Bottom line I felt like we were in it together as my company and business grew so did theirs. I don't always feel that way working with other companies.
The ability to do it all
Kommentare: I currently use the platform as an ECommerce along with Shipping & Fulfilment and I haven't even scratched the surfice. From a manufacturer and reseller perspective, its allows me to manage my inventory, shipping and revenue very easily. Creating brand new product is easy, but even easier with the cloning feature. The thing I love the most is, email marketing is connected directly to my existing accounts. I don't need to import and export lists into a third party platform. This goes the same for the CRM. It is all here!
Camp Registration System
Kommentare: During my 24 years as director, our camp has tried both out-of-the-box camp registration software and custom registration software from other vendors. My Custom Event has been BY FAR the best we've used. It has been completely customized to our needs, including unique features that make the registration process easy for parents and hugely time-saving for our staff, with prompt and competent customer service. I had no hesitation to re-up our contract with My Custom Event. I recommend them highly.
I used MCE for a luncheon fudraising event in May 2015. Great choice to use them!
Kommentare: Customer service was amazing. Staff made themselves available whenever they could to assist and answer questions. They set up our event page for us and walked me through the process for future use. Whenever I had a question, they had a quick answer and Ifelt very comfortable with the process and communication. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to make their job easier when setting up events and tracking info along the way. -Tiana G.
Used MCE for better than several years with great success
Kommentare: We were early adopters of the MCE Software and it has been a great experience for us. We use it was a store front as well as a competition management system and it has worked out great. I don't like camping out in front of software having to learn, re-learn, and MCE is fast and intuitive allow me to set things up quickly and manage changes on the fly. The team at MCE is awesome, super responsive, and always there to help.
We have been delighted to find a software product that will enable us to grow our business.
Kommentare: Pros: 1) Our business is event driven which presents many challenges. The software is flexible to accommodate and automate our major requirements Cons: 1) We have used a different software package for many years so switching to a new software can be overwhelming and time consuming. Part of our challenge will be learn how to best maximize the new product and ensure we are fully utilizing it.
We have barely scratched the surface of what My Custom Event offers and so far are very impressed!
Kommentare: The back end management system is very easy to use and can be tailored to a way that best suits the way you work. The few times that I have been hung up the help section or customer support resolved the issue. We have had the convenience of working in the same area as My Custom Event and it has been a pleasure working with and getting to know their team.
Tech support is the best. They go above and beyond with any question or concern.

Tech support will walk you through with anything you might not understand. If you are familiar with digital marketing and software like this, then it could be easy to learn. Like anything, it takes practice to master.
We like how it has managed our events, creates reports, and has saved us time and money with generating our email messages.
Packed with features and simple to use...
Kommentare: We recently transitioned from another software provider that struggled to handle our needs. My Custom Event was able to support all of our needs and helped lock down some critical business practices without any customization. We are very happy and will start using even more of the integrated features over the coming months.
Amazed by all the integrated features
Kommentare: Event Manager has so many integrated features that I need NOW and WANT for the future. Our prior provider allowed for connections via API or export which created too much additional work. This does everything we need in one single application and has reduced our overall system administration. Support is superior too!
Great Software Packed With Features...and excellent support
Kommentare: We are so happy with the choice to use Event Manager for our E-commerce platform, member discounts and learning management. There are so many integrated features that we can utilize now and in the future. It has really simplified our product management and order fulfillment too.
Great Custom Software!
Kommentare: We have built two custom online registration sites with My Custom Event and both have turned out fantastic. They do an amazing job of listening to our needs and creating products that look and work flawlessly.
