Great Trust Accounting Platform with Room to Grow

Kommentare: Trustbooks provides basic attorney trust account record keeping. There is room to grow, but the primary benefit is basic record keeping.

Vorteile:

Trustbooks is basically the only real game in town when it comes to attorney trust account record keeping. It integrates with Clio and LawPay, which makes things easier. It performs all the basic functions necessary to maintain accurate attorney trust account records.

Nachteile:

Trustbooks has room to grow. For starters, there is no abilities to upload bank account statements for e-storage upon reconciliation. There is no way to upload for e-storage scans of checks as required in some states. Reporting could be improved and expanded upon.

Kommentare: I use TrustBooks daily. Support answers my questions quickly and keep me updated. Reconcilations are a breeze...all I have to do is review them! TrustBooks really is the answer to my trust account prayers!

Vorteile:

Trustbooks is so easy to use. You can't fail with this software. They have created it as the most user friendly, no-fail product. The TrustBooks support team transferred all my data over and got us set up without me lifting a finger. I can't say enough how much easier and stress-free my job is with TrustBooks.

Nachteile:

There is not a downside to using TrustBooks.

Best Trust Account Software

Kommentare: The staff is always accessible to answer your questions and the software is very user friendly.

Vorteile:

This is easy to use and the features are targeted to just Trust Accounting unlike other software that is not specifically made for Trust Account. It makes it easy to comply with the bar rules for reconciliation.

Nachteile:

Nothing, the product is user friendly and have great staff.

WOW!

Vorteile:

As an independent accounting firm, I handle the Trust accounts for two law firms. Prior to finding Trustbooks I was using a substantially more expensive package that had fewer features and wasn't nearly as user friendly. Navigating within the program is very easy and the support I got in the initial set-up was amazing. I emailed for help and got a phone call within 15 minutes on a Saturday!!! My attorney clients are very pleased with the reports generated and the 3-way reconciliation insures we stay in NC Bar compliance.

Nachteile:

Everything is terrific. No problems whatsoever.

TrustBooks is a time saver.

Kommentare: Reconciliations are a breeze and has cut my time down significantly. I really like the way it is set up to make sure you are in compliance with the N.C. State Bar Rules on trust accounting.

Vorteile:

We switched from QuickBooks to TrustBooks and the transition was simple and easy.

Nachteile:

I wish there was a way to print a report for active and inactive ledgers in one report.

Kommentare: My experience with Trustbooks has been positive. Technical support was very helpful in setting up my account and establishing the connection to Clio. Trustbooks is open to suggestions for improvement and works to ensure you are satisfied with the product.

Trustbooks integrates with Clio and has the ability to generate monthly and quarterly reports necessary for trust account compliance.

Nachteile:

Trustbooks could expand the selection of check printing templates, and occasionally there is a lag when syncing with Clio.

Trust Accounting Made Easy

Kommentare: My overall experience has been very positive.

Vorteile:

As an attorney, I am required to perform three-way reconciliations for my client accounts every month. Trustbooks has greatly decreased the time I spend on doing this task. I also like that it integrates well with Clio.

Nachteile:

Nothing. Trustbooks works well. I have no complaints.

Very easy to use. Only the necessary components and no unnecessary extras. Syncs with our client database well.

Only down side is it takes at least 24 hours for transactions to sync from Clio

I like that I get an email when a client's balance is low. I also like that the reconciliation reports are easy to run. I also like that I can click on any client and see the ledger.

Nachteile:

I would like to be able to view multiple client ledgers at a time.

Excellent for Trust Account Reconciliation

Kommentare: I use Trustbooks for my monthly and three-way Trust Account reconciliation.

Vorteile:

I am thankful for how fast and efficient Trust Account reconciliation is with this program. It's been a huge upgrade from Quickbooks.

Nachteile:

It is not as easy to share the accounting information with my CPA. I have to provide him with my username and password each time.

Essential for any firm that has IOLTA accounts

Kommentare: We've been very happy with Trustbooks. It is easy to use and on the few occasions where we've had some issues (due to our errors), customer support has been available to quickly resolve the problems.

Vorteile:

I love how easy it is to reconcile our IOLTA accounts and have accurate information about how much each of our clients has in their accounts. The integration feature with LawPay has also been very helpful in keeping track of incoming payments.

Nachteile:

I haven't had any negative experiences with the software.

An Efficient, Cost Effective Solution to Trust Accounting

Kommentare: Our office is very pleased. Trust accounting using this program is one less thing to worry about, allowing us to focus on our practice rather than the administrative tasks.

Vorteile:

TrustBooks has really streamlined our accounting process. What used to take hours a month now takes minutes. Reconciliations are now something to look forward to as it comes out perfect every time.

Nachteile:

The only lacking feature was how to handle bounced deposit checks. We obviously did not want to delete the entry, but it has to be accounted for when a check we deposit fails to clear. The workaround was to create a fictitious payee called "bounced check".

Formerly used QuickBooks. The program is very easy to set up and easier to use. It's very convenient to be able to access my account from any web browser on any device. Also, the monthly reconciliation is a snap.

Nachteile:

No downside at all to using this product.

Lifesaver

Kommentare: From the day we signed up, Trustbooks' support team has been awesome. Their assistance in the conversion from our old pencil and paper system was amazing. The CLE offerings have been informative and beneficial. And, the overall ease of use of the program is a godsend and an amazing timesaver.

Vorteile:

Having few accounting skills, the ease of entering information and reconciling our trust account are essential to my mental health.

Nachteile:

It would be helpful to have a "notes" option for those entries that would benefit from a bit of explanation in the event an audit occurs.

Kommentare: It has been a very positive experience. Didn't need the training wheels on long.

Vorteile:

It is relatively easy to use intuitively. Having said that, the most important thing to me is the customer service. I had to learn to use this software on my own and within a short time frame. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] held my hand (sometime almost daily) and walked me through the process that one faces when trying to learn a new software program. I felt that he was always happy to help and responded quickly, sometimes at hours I didn't expect.

Nachteile:

When on the first try the reconciliation didn't work

TrustBooks for Family Lawyers

Kommentare: I use Trustbooks to manage all trust accounting and I love the ease and simplicity of working with them, then they report to the State Bar on my behalf. Customer support is responsive and helpful.

This software is easy to use and integrates smoothly with my billing software.

At first the software was not intuitive to me, but I've gotten the hang of using the software and now it works seamlessly. Customer support is very responsive and helpful, so that it's easy to get help anytime I have a question.
