Vorteile:

The personal service is standard setting. Before you ball at the price imagine hiring a tech team who are at your disposal 24/7 to help with ANYTHING- it’s amazing. We love the software and it does EXACTLY as advertised, but the people are the best part. I actually asked them on our last call if they would develop database Managment software too because our other vendor is so weak compared to Plotbox!!!

Nachteile:

I would have to really make something up here... everything we have wished was better they have taken into a development meeting. Maybe the one thing is a fixed checklist of processes to do the basics. It’s a Porsche but sometimes you just need to get groceries. A simplified 1-2-3 and you’re done would have been helpful getting started.

User friendly

Kommentare: Overall, we have had a great experience, our representative has been helpful and always connects even if we don't need assistance. The addition of using the "Everafter" link for our families has given them the freedom to locate a loved one at their leisure, easy to navigate!!

Vorteile:

Easy to use, you can decide how much or how little information you would like to add. The mapping portion of the software is great, and easy to navigate.

Nachteile:

Somewhat finicky when entering Contracts, if you skip a step it is hard to edit.

IT'S A KEEPER

Kommentare: Overall it has been a positive experience. The support for converting an old process to a new digital one has been very much appreciated. When challenges arise the response has been very timely. It has made our transition from our old software to PlotBox much easier.

Vorteile:

The records are all linked together and you can easily navigate through the information.

Nachteile:

Photos saved to plots do not always show up on Everafter. Seems to be a bit of a disconnect.

Is life difficult? You should be using PlotBox! Life is good!

Kommentare: So far we have enjoyed the conversion and using the system to do real time reporting.

Great people and very helpful. Always available when needed!

Nachteile:

I wish I was in Ireland! They have more fun than we do!

Cemetery Administrator

Kommentare: Great product. I definitely tell everyone about it, and would recommend PlotBox to anyone.

Vorteile:

First: the patron experience and ability to find a loved one through EA and be able to see the headstone, pictures, and obit. Second: the organization of the cemetery combined with the drone mapping enabled the additional of many new plots thought to previously not be useable. Third: Uploading contracts and deeds to the owner for quick access remotely.

Nachteile:

Some data fields are strictly locked to only accept a drop down menu field as opposed to a manual entry; such as entering a date.

One of the best business software solutions I have used

Kommentare: Excellent, it is a product that genuinely improves productivity and accuracy in our business, and helps us provide a professional service to our customers.

Vorteile:

Plotbox very easy to use for users with even basic computer skills, it is flexible and adaptable for a manager with a little technical knowledge. Uptime is excellent, and customer support involves talking to humans in the UK about a product they know inside out. I handles imported historical data just as effectively as new data created since implementation.

Nachteile:

The very few issues we have found have been minor irritations and have been quickly resolved by technical support, so I cannot think of anything I don't like about it.

First class system, second to none

Kommentare: Having been a creature of habit, I was sceptical at first...but Plotbox is amazing, taking us into the 21st century

Vorteile:

Easy to use and understand, ability to send pictures via e-mail to customers is an extra bonus, it saves going out to a cemetery to take the pictures every time there is a query

Nothing, everything is exactly what you want on a system

My Thoughts on plotbox

Kommentare: My overall experience with PlotBox has been very positive. Despite these minor adjustments, PlotBox remains a powerful and valuable tool that has significantly benefited day-to-day operations.

Vorteile:

simplifies the complex processes of cemetery and crematorium management along with record-keeping by consolidating all information into one accessible platform. The ability to visualize plots through GIS mapping

Nachteile:

When new to the system I found it challenging initially due to the range of features. initial training needs some enhanced training materials, like short, task-specific video tutorials, Click heavy Processes: Some workflows require multiple steps, [sensitive content hidden] is very helpful and happy to talk threw issues

Review of Plotbox

Kommentare: I have been using Plotbox for nearly 5 years and have found it to be a very good system for arranging and recording burials. In addition to this the other features such as reporting are very useful. We switched from a programme called Cemetery Pro which had become outdated. Would not accept this as an answer in the question below.

Vorteile:

User friendly, easy access to scheduling and records. Excellent support from Plotbox team. The team are continually improving the system and applying updates.

Nachteile:

Sometimes have difficulty saving records but this may be due to our systems rather than Plotbox.

Grateful to have PlotBox

Kommentare: We got PlotBox in 2019, right before the Pandemic. We were excited about it because it seemed so much more modern and effective than our previous software. But honestly, we got it in the knick of time! I don't know what we would have done without it during the pandemic! Being sent home, with no access to our paper records - we would not have been able to serve our families had we not had PB on our home computers. Being able to look up records, grave availability, contact info - it was really a life saver for us! And the more we use it and enter information into it, the better it gets.

Vorteile:

I feel like it's user-friendly and pretty intuitive. Like any new software, you have to get used to it, but it has truly made our lives easier. And we don't even use all the features! The customer service folks are great - both our "assigned" person and the people on the chat. I feel like every time we have a training/customer service call I really learn something new and about some cool feature. When we started we were doing the bare minimum to get through the pandemic, but now we are discovering so many more cool features and time saving elements of the program.

Nachteile:

There is always room for improvement, and no one program is going to immedately meet the demands of every user. But PB is really good about taking feedback and implementing it. They really do listen to our needs and often can make changes to suit us. I do wish it was a little more historic records/genealogically inclined. Our cemeteries are all historic and part of what we do is genealogy and research. PB isn't really set up for that, but I think they are working on that and making some progress towards that.

Great software package from my perspective!

Vorteile:

Amazing software that does so much more than we have asked of it so far. I thought the learning curve was easy and we have some employees that were not computer savvy that have used the opportunity to embrace Plotbox and grow in the computer usage and knowledge. Growth in their job and as a person. Plotbox brought some good people changes with it's rollout.

Nachteile:

Every software package comes with a certain amount of rigidity as you transition. The constant mantra of "why can't Plotbox do this like XXXX" was a difficult stage, but the folks from Plotbox did a great job of helping us work through what the could. I guess that would be a negative that turned into a positive. I think that the Quote process is a bit arduous for today's quite response loving shopper. With the ability to change price points so quickly, we need a tool that helps us quote the today price, which may not end in a signed quote. Because the system is the price book, we have no way of checking pricing at that moment without building a quote.

A Brilliant and Comprehensive System

Kommentare: A pleasure to work with experienced professionals who want to help us deliver the best service to our customers. The Plotbox system is intuitive and simple to use and does so much more than you expect, particularly in producing key management data and reporting.

Vorteile:

An excellent all round product that does everything we need it to do. The support team are fantastic and always ready to help and advise on any issue in a professional and prompt way.

Nachteile:

It is hard to find a negative but would like to see integration with other industry systems such as Obitus.

The Excellent PlotBox Experience

Kommentare: Overall, its been a first class experience working with PlotBox. Excellent customer experience combined with an excellent system.

Vorteile:

We are currently in the early implementation phase and the customer service is second to none. The mapping done so far is fantastic and from what we have seen so far of the system it will greatly improve our service so much for the better.

Nachteile:

Nothing so far. Every aspect of our experience has been first class.

Plotbox User

Kommentare: I liked it, but it will be nice that Plotbox can have a signature option so we don't have to save the contract and sent it to DocuSign for signature. Also it will be nice to set up automatic payments with visa or Mastercard in Plotbox.

Vorteile:

Is a four-step system easy to use, and can access the system with my cell phone.

Nachteile:

Quotations, because it holds the location property. It will be nice just to have a tab on the left side under plots that displays prices of what the customer wants to purchase

As always, the most responsible choice for me.

Kommentare: I have been in the industry a long time and always have come away from dealing with the Plotbox guys feeling assured, calm and supported, In this day and age, that is worth its weight in gold.

Vorteile:

Ease of use and level of how much this system can do. The reporting is outstanding and having everything on one platform speaks for itself.

Nachteile:

Only criticism i would have, and its a very first world problem, would be there is no integration into Obitus at present, i hasten to add this may not be a Plotbox issue. But in an ideal world having these systems integrated would be top of my wish list

Kommentare: Plotbox makes my daily working life alot easier with all records being available at the touch of a button. I would be lost now without this system.

Vorteile:

what I like most about Plotbox is how easy it is to use and manage. All my records are in one place and I can access these records easily anytime and anywhere. Also the team at Plotbox are 1st Class, always pleasant, friendly and very helpful.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I don't like about Plotbox.

Plotbox Review Six Months In

Kommentare: It has not been a smooth ride to be honest, partly because of the lack of time my team had to get fully on board before the live date. We did not seem to be as ready as we could have been, so we did as much as we could on the old system which unfortunately set us back further that if we had left it.

Nachteile:

The fact every grave has a Row, we do not use Rows in our plotting except in one cemetery. I would gladly lose the Row# in a heartbeat.

Plotbox implementation and overall effectiveness for a mid-sized historic Cemetery and Crematorium

Kommentare: Positive and proactive. The death care industry is complex and has a lot of variety to deal with so it's a difficult task to implement the new system and bring the staff along for the journey. As a customer we have had to spend a lot on our own resources to get the result but I always anticipated this. PlotBox were responsive and helped us through. Changing systems was necessary for us and PlotBox was the right system for our operation. I would do it all again with PlotBox.

Vorteile:

Comprehensive digital application for Cemeteries and Crematoriums

Nachteile:

Not having an 'in person' assistance option. We had to solve many of the problems and issues on our own. Fortunately, we had a highly skilled employee who could fulfill this function.

A market leading solution developer

Kommentare: So far the experience has been supportive and professional. There is a lot of focus on maximizing the customer experience and safeguarding project critical success factors.

Vorteile:

Plotbox is without question the sector leader when it comes to Cemetery management. The feature rich solution is perfectly honed to the specialist operating environment, and the development roadmap looks very exciting.

Nachteile:

No cons to report to report as yet, still within implementation phase.

Newport Cemeteries

Kommentare: We struggle with poor record keeping and the staff have been hesitant in utilising the software. The support I've received since coming in to post has been excellent. We have a clear route to progress and to update the records as we go. Our regular meetings with Dawn are essential to this process and she has been great with myself and the team.

Vorteile:

Support that has been provided to us is excellent.

Some of the terms used initially make navigation quite confusing
