Kommentare: I love the mobile app because it allows me to stay connected and access from anywhere. This has been especially helpful when I'm out of the office and need to access important information.

Vorteile:

I like it because with this platform, I can quickly share information, documents, and updates, and the comment and discussion feature on each post allows for fluid, real-time interaction.

Nachteile:

At first, it took me a while to get familiar with all the available options and to be able to find the most efficient way to use them.

Vorteile:

ThoughtFarmer's platform addressed all of the issues we were having with our existing platform, and the support they provided throughout the entire project was invaluable.

Nachteile:

Nothing. We have no complaints about our experience so far.

Excellent Customer Service

Kommentare: The customer service team at ThoughtFarmer is great. Every time there is an issue, or we don't know how to solve a question, we reach out to the team. They are speedy with their replies, and usually have very straight forward direction and imagery to help solve the problem. Thank you [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] for all of your help in the first year of our Intranet!

Vorteile:

The software is overall straight forward to use. The Thoughtfarmer community page is a great way to learn tips and tricks on various software capabilities that we didn't realize were there.

Nachteile:

Challenges with employees connecting to the intranet when off of our Network - but this also may not be a Thoughtfarmer problem! This has made it a bit challenging for our jobsite employees (who never come into the office) to get used to using the Intranet and integrating it in their daily lives. But everyone in the office has had a great experience with it.

An Excellent Tool for Bringing Teams Together

The staff is not only knowledgeable but also extremely helpful, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Vorteile:

The setup process was very thorough, and their staff is both helpful and knowledgeable.

Nachteile:

Some limited functionality with design/aesthetic but the lack is made up for by the expansive widgets and features it offers

Exceptional customer experience!

Kommentare: Positive. The customer service is really the star. The product could offer a few more features but TF does not fall far behind other intranets I've worked on in the page. In some places, it does excel.

Vorteile:

Excellent customer service! The team is very responsive, friendly and helpful. [sensitive content hidden] and team have been wonderful to work with.

Nachteile:

While TF offers a great deal of widgets/cards, there are a few I've seen from other platform providers that I'd love see in TF. E.g. greater page layout customization, an accordion feature that doesn't require subpages, upvoting, more options on image position and placement etc.

Vorteile:

ThoughtFarmer support is always on its A game. I have never had an issue with them and they are always responsive. There are so many options you can use with TF and I really like the ability to customize.

Nachteile:

I would say I would like to see more Administrative Change reporting. Some companies get audits and we need to know a history of changes done by administrators.

Kommentare: Positive, overall. As an admin, it's easy to manage and report on.

Vorteile:

The fact that changes to links and profile information cascades thoughout the site. For example, a reporting relationship change to a supervisor funnels down to the employee's profile. It's also super-intuitive, which makes it easy for non-web people to create and manage their own sites.

Nachteile:

The necessity of removing or re-"owner"ing all of a user's content before being able to remove them from the system. I know it's a "social intranet" but the ability to share working files right in the system (i.e., allow multiple people to work on the same document) would be a huge improvement.

Thoughtfarmer very useful

Kommentare: Tech Support was so helpful with our migration. They were very complete with their planning and were there every step of the way.
They continued to be there as we worked out a few small post migration issues. Thank you !

Vorteile:

This is a great tool to help get news out across the company, organize employees, and just documentation in general. I am more in a support role and do not utilize all the functions that it provides.

Nachteile:

I do not have anything bad to say about Thoughtfarmer. We just recently migrated our site to the cloud so still learning ins and outs on it

Finally found the right Intranet!

Kommentare: It took far too long to find this product, and perhaps ThoughtFarmer needs marketing help, but this product is a near-perfect fit for our medium-size video production company. The organization and simplicity of this database will be easy for our employees to use, and hopefully they will enjoy using it.

Vorteile:

I love the simplicity, user experience and features offered in ThoughtFarmer, as well as the ability to administrate without needing a deep IT background.

Nachteile:

The calendar integrations are one-way, and can only come from ThoughtFarmer. We use other programs and it would be helpful if ThoughtFarmer could receive RSS calendar feeds, not just create them.

Kommentare: Overall I had a great experience working with the ThoughtFarmer team! They helped make sure our site was both aesthetically appealing and properly functioning, all while making sure the process was enjoyable for us.

Vorteile:

I liked the accessibility to the ThoughtFarmer team the most! They were always reachable and eager to help with our questions.

Nachteile:

The thing I liked the least about ThoughtFarmer was not having the ability to schedule morning meetings due to time zone restraints.

Vorteile:

I have really enjoyed working with ThoughtFarmer. I have had many questions come up while designing our Intranet and everyone has been quick to respond. I appreciate having the ability to reach someone directly. It is also nice being able to build a relationship with ThoughtFarmer and they know our goals, and can help us achieve those goals.

Nachteile:

There are very few things I didn't like about ThoughtFarmer. Of course, we've had a couple of hiccups while trying to figure everything out, but everyone has been quick to help. If they don't know the answer, they are sure to create a case with Tech Support to get us the answers we are needing.

Highly Recommend!!

Kommentare: My overall experience with ThoughtFarmer was great! It is evident they work as a team as each step of the process was a smooth handoff to the next person who would support us. They are a perfect mix of subject matter experts and non-techy end users! They were able to communicate as easily with our IT department as they were with a new content owner who had not experience creating an Intranet. They were also very responsive and easy to work with as we went through the process of selecting vendors and then completing our pricing and contract with them. I would recommend them to both the large company looking to implement an intranet and the smaller company looking to offer an engaging, cutting edge communication tool.

Vorteile:

The product is easy to use and the team supporting implementation was so helpful, available and thorough.

Nachteile:

I believe in an effort to let our company drive the product and implementation, there was a bit of a lack of direction in terms of training. We had sessions where we were shown features but it would have been helpful to perhaps have some assignments or more direction regarding applying what we just learned. After each training session I sort of walked away wondering "ok, what am I supposed to do now?"

Kommentare: Overall experience with Thoughtfarmer thus far has been nothing short of excellent. We are early implementation and so we are now working with TF team closer as we get our intranet up and running. Our AE was excellent from the beginning and everyone we've encountered thus far has been kind, helpful and organized

No major cons to note at this point as we are still early. I believe something that our team brought up early on as we were exploring was the wish to have more integrations

Solid, consistent long-term partner

Kommentare: Our experience with Thoughtfarmer has been resoundingly positive. We engaged Thoughtfarmer's professional service team for our initial implementation, and would recommend this service to anyone starting out on this journey. Watson is now over 10 years old, is still going strong, and we look forward to continuing this relationship.

Vorteile:

LPK has used Thoughtfarmer's intranet platform as a core business operations tool for over 10 years . Our intranet (named "Watson") is a trusted resource for storing and finding company information, and the home page serves as a portal to other business applications. New hires give us very positive feedback about how helpful Watson is for their onboarding and on-ramp to the organization. The flexibility of the platform, ease of use, straightforward admin controls, strong help documentation and excellent support team are all reasons we stick with Thoughtfarmer year after year.

Nachteile:

I have very little criticism for the platform. If pressed, I'd say I'd like more consistent and more granular behavior in the text formatting controls on pages. For example, I can auto-correct a spellcheck typo in body text with a right-click, but cannot do the same in a formatted bullet. And I cannot selectively control space above and below lines of text or bullets.

ThoughtFarmer has changed the way our organization communicates and collaborates

Vorteile:

The easy-to-use platform makes it simple for anyone in our organization to post content. The message boards and alignment with individuals' roles has made it much easier for us to communicate with targeted groups and virtually eliminated the mess of mass emails we used to live with.

Nachteile:

The lack of integrated form-building/workflows in the system is limiting, but we've found ways to work around this in most cases. The platform does allow you to embed Wufoo forms, but it's not as elegant or efficient as truly integrated forms that could be linked to the user's identity.

Vorteile:

The ease of use and how easily certain aspects can be customized are probably my favorite parts. But, it seems worth mentioning that the implementation process was also pretty enjoyable and informative. I feel like we learned a lot and were able to really launch something that our employees would engage. And they did.

Nachteile:

There isn't a particular part of ThoughtFarmer that we don't enjoy. The only issue I have is... I wish it had a learning management system integrated. But, that's more of a just a wish/request.

If only all our vendors were like ThoughtFarmer

Kommentare: We needed a one stop platform where employees both old and new can quickly access information they need to make their lives easier at work and to find assets that will help them connect with our corporate culture. ThoughtFarmer met all our requirements and delivered what they promised.

Vorteile:

ThoughtFarmer is so much more than just software. The team was there from Day One to help us maximize our platform and build the Internet that met our expectations without breaking a sweat or breaking the bank. Putting together a company wide Intranet from scratch was a daunting initiative but with their expertise and support it was one of the easiest implementations I've ever done and the end product is something the whole team enjoys and uses daily. In a nut shell, ThoughtFarmer is super easy to use, fulfills all our requirements for what an Intranet should be and looks great.

Nachteile:

Having a news post appear in both the feed and in the top carousel is bit redundant .

Slick, glitch free, and adaptable intranet tool

Kommentare: We’ve built a community platform for lawyers and related professionals to share info and network. The granular access controls and security groups allow good siloing.

Vorteile:

It works solidly and reliably. Very hard to break! I’m sure I’ve spent a thousand hours in this tool as an admin and power user. And the results look great in desktop or mobile.

Nachteile:

Lack of integration with automation services like Zapier or IFTTT. It would be nice to have more ways to publish content to the intranet without manually logging on.

Fantastic and user-friendly intranet software

Vorteile:

ThoughtFarmer turned our intranet from an outdated repository of information to a dynamic site for employees. The kudos feature is great, and the news feed is really good. Very easy to use - all kinds of people (with varying tech savviness) have been posting news items. I like that we can target the audience, e.g. post specifically to leaders.

Nachteile:

Adding header images doesn't quite do what's expected in terms of resizing images. I don't love that almost everything you do ends up in the activity feed, i.e. people creating pages and adding events to group calendars. Not all relevant to the whole organization and it makes some of the more pertinent information harder to see.

ThoughtFarmer for the Intranet WIN!!

Kommentare: Our company did not have any Intranet at all when we purchased ThoughtFarmer, so it was overwhelming to try to imagine how to sort and categorize all of our documentation. We utilized ThoughtFarmer's professional services to help us with it, and it was worth every penny!! They were so great to work this - their process is easy to follow and allowed us to get all of our staff involved. The results were a very logical and easy to follow Information Architecture that I'm not sure we would have ever gotten to without their help - certainly not in the time frame they made it happen in!!

Vorteile:

Using this software is like riding a bike - takes a little practice using all the different features, but once you've done it a bit, it's a piece of cake!! I don't have to go back to notes to remember how I made something work a certain way - it's all very logical and easy to do time and time again.

Nachteile:

I guess what I liked least about the software is that it uses rich text editor which is a bit different from Word, so it took a little bit to get used to. But that's stretching trying to find something negative to say... lol

Easy-to-use custom intranet

Vorteile:

Customizable, user-friendly interface. Predictive search function is excellent. The staff at ThoughtFarmer provided excellent training for our team to get our intranet up and running and made it easy for us to transition from our old system to the new one.

Nachteile:

We are happy with the software overall. There are a few areas where we'd like to be able to sort/alphabetize tables but these are fairly minor details.
