Great featureset and integration with Salesforce
Kommentare: I like that we can take action based on alarms and events such as idle and crossing into or out of a boundary using native salesforce tools like process builder or workflow rules. It is nice to be able to see where groups of our drivers are from within salesforce.
Vorteile: Integrates with Salesforce allowing us to use the force.com platform for decision making and workflow
Nachteile: Map view is not as refined as it could be. It could use additional layers for traffic, weather, etc. and it can be a little buggy. When replaying vehicles it isn't possible to drag the slider and when boxing areas for alerts it can sometimes give unexpected results. The events can be a little verbose and configuration could be easier for the alarms. The speed detection and unauthorized movement gives a lot of false alerts (due to gps drift or poor signal) and it would be good to have better error handling to lock the vehicle to the highway when there is a nearby frontage road instead of having it bounce back and forth for example or to suppress unauthorized movement if there is signal loss and the vehicle has only moved a small amount. Having more real-time information for hours and odometer readings on the vehicle instead of having to wait overnight or until an ignition event would also be really helpful and it would be great if the device could detect seat belt connection status for the driver. The mobile view is very limited and could use to be more feature rich all around. Alarm key in/fob is a little finicky - it would be nice if it could pair with bluetooth or similar to detect driver automatically It would be nice if the device could relay realtime weight information from air-weigh scales

Used ThingTech for 3 years now....
Kommentare: We like everything about ThingTech when the Optimization tool and AutoSync to Routes works, but when it does not work properly, which was one of the main reasons we chose the product, we do not have a good experience. As said before, communication for support tickets, at least in relation to Optimization and Auto Sync, is in dire need of improvement; most of the time we just don't hear back.
Vorteile: Optimization and integration with Salesforce are the main reasons we chose Thingtech. Has great data that is collected for Trips, able to use to make data driven decision making.
Nachteile: Support in relation to the Optimization tool and Auto Syncing with Routes has been horrible. Recognize that when we purchased software ThingTech as a business was still in its infancy, but ThingTech communication for tickets we have create is in dire need of improvement.
