Wunderbares LMS

Vorteile:

Mir gefällt die einfache Benutzeroberfläche und das Design. Der Aufbau ist logisch und die Einarbeitung in das System geht sehr schnell. Die Implementierung von externen Lerninhalten funktioniert einwandfrei & sehr schnell. Der Kundenservice ist außerdem sehr hilfsbereit & freundlich.

Nachteile:

Der größte Nachteil für uns ist, dass die Software immer weiter für Unternehmen angepasst wird, die ihre eigenen Mitarbeiter schulen. Wir als Bildungseinrichtungen schulen aber externe Teilnehmende. Dadurch sind für uns einige Funktionen oder Strukturen, die im LMS implementiert sind oder ausgebaut werden, weniger nützlich.

Gründe für den Wechsel zu iSpring Learn: Die Benutzeroberfläche für die Lernenden ist modern, klar & übersichtlich gestaltet. Die Navigation ist simpel und dadurch eine Hürde weniger für unsere Kunden.

iSpring learn is a great solution for online learning.

Kommentare: The system underpins my private education business and has been a major driver for success.

Vorteile:

Integration with PowerPoint Clean, easy to use interface User self registration Payments system for selling courses.

Nachteile:

There is not a lot to dislike. It does everything I need. If I had to be very picky I would to be able to alert users to new Courses or to make announcements more easily. At present you can add comments to courses and learning paths, or send individual messages, but this does not alert a user who is not logged in. I can export e-mail addresses and send a mailshot, but this is a bit cumbersome. This is a very minor issue.

Worth The Money!

Kommentare: I worked closely with our sales person to complete the purchase and get everything set up. It was a very simple and quick process.

Vorteile:

We searched for 2 years for the perfect software. We landed on iSpring due to the cost and features available for a corporate training environment. This has helped up become more remote, especially in a world with COVID. We have been able to track training and identify areas of improvement and even get more departments on board with the training process. I also love the iSpring takes ideas for improvements.

Nachteile:

Most features are easy to use, but some of the reporting options do not provide the information needed, so we have to build workarounds in to get what we need.

Gründe für den Wechsel zu iSpring Learn: The decision to choose iSpring over the others named was mainly due to the features available for the price. Some of the other companies were extremely expensive and did not offer the features that we received with iSpring.

First year subscription with iSpring Learn

Kommentare: The overall experience from administering and using the platform is very positive. It's very comprehensive, user-friendly and intuitive.

Vorteile:

Very intuitive and user-friendly platform that makes creating, organizing and tracking of educational content very easy. Big plus is that learners can access training materials anytime, anywhere, allowing for self-paced learning that fits individual schedules. Great customer support. Fast and attentive response to all opened cases.

Nachteile:

Offered integration with BambooHR does not work as expected which lead to manual user import and harder user management. Although the customer support is great, it would be very helpful to have deeper engagement during the implementation phase through clear implementation plan.

Gründe für den Wechsel zu iSpring Learn: iSpring had all the desired functionalities for reasonable price combined with great attention and customer support during the negotiation phase.

Good for a single company (in-house) use but poor for managing client or partner training

Vorteile:

Ability to have multiple Learning Paths that collate separate courses, and to track users' progress through those Learning Paths.

Nachteile:

New functionality has only been added piecemeal, presumably where a client has paid for a new feature to match their specific requirements. The new functions then aren't applied across the whole system (since the client didn't pay for that work). The result is a "swiss cheese" of a product, with huge holes. For example, the API doesn't allow you to retrieve attributes that were added in new functionality. The API itself allows you to set and retrieve (limited parts of) individual records, but doesn't let you get access to reports programatically. SSO is all-or-nothing - you have to have the same SSO for all Organizations, which sucks if you're using the same course material in-house as well as externally. And SSO doesn't support the latest standards. Discussion forums are similarly only open to all and can't be limited to Organizations. Presumably both SSO and Discussions were added before some client paid for multiple Organizations to be added. On top of all that, iSpring is actually more expensive than other better multi-org solutions such as TalentLMS.

Great product and excellent customer service

Kommentare: Overall, I have been very pleased with iSpring Learn. The employees and customer support have been responsive and incredibly helpful. I love that I can Google a question and generally can find the answer within seconds. The design technology keeps getting better and better. Thanks to all of the staff for making this a great experience!

Vorteile:

I am new to my role and to iSpring, and I have found their online resources, customer support, and training webinars to be exceptional! I have been able to get all of my questions answered and have easily self-taught myself how to use the different programs that come with the iSpring Max subscription. I especially like the ease of adding voiceovers and narration to our training content for accessibility.

Nachteile:

Our learning paths are set up in a way that I often need to add a single course to multiples folders for learners to find and self enroll. Perhaps there is a way, but I'm not sure how. I have to upload the course separately to each folder for self enrollment. I wish I could select multiple ones at once. I also am hoping for narration capabilities with the microlearning iSpring Cloud/Page services in the near future.

Outstanding Learning Management System

Kommentare: I have used many other types of LMS' and iSpring Learn stands out as top of the line across the board.

Vorteile:

Ease of use as well as plenty of documentation and training lesson videos. Additionally, support team is quick to respond and to resolve any issues or questions.

Nachteile:

Integration of development tools, instead of separate standalone apps.

Warum iSpring Learn gewählt wurde: Our company outgrew the platform (WordPress) and I needed a solution that a user could complete coursework at an acceptable pace and allow for various managers to have specific access.

Gründe für den Wechsel zu iSpring Learn: We started by just having the toolset and I liked developing courses with it so I demo'd the iSpring Learn LMS and it had everything that we needed and room to develop additional types of courses.

Useful Online Learning Platform

Kommentare: iSpring Learn is a tentative approach that makes learning and training materials suitable.

iSpring Learn has made the tracking of the course suitable and there is an excellent online training.

Nachteile:

iSpring Learn has created a swift learning option, which is flawless.

Very happy with this solution

Kommentare: Overall it is a intuitive and user friendly software to develop an e-learning platform. But when you don't know how to do something, you can't guess it. Fortunately, people at ISpring are easy to contact and fast to get back to you. Which is a relief because developing courses is already a huge workload. ISpring makes it not overly complicated to make them available to learners.

Vorteile:

Support during implementation, customer service available and responsive, the fact that we start with a power point document.

Nachteile:

The rest of the software and project is blocked when I'm working on an interaction or quiz (which opens in a separate window). Sometimes also, the interaction crashes, and instead of just closing the software, the integration was completely removed from the project, even in the source files.

Authentic Approach for Learning

Kommentare: The program has made all the learning suitable and is done online without challenges.

Vorteile:

The online database from the program helps in offering learning.

Nachteile:

The conventional assistance in matters online training is something that the developer has issued.

The fastest way to create Elearning courses

Kommentare: It allows you to create interactive learning courses or lessons in a few minutes, as it is very intuitive and also allows you to export in the form of scorm, html5 and much more. It is an excellent author tool for instructional designers

Vorteile:

Its perfect integration with Power Point allows you to create simple and complex interactions in a short time. In addition, tools such as QUIZMAKER or Interacciones provide many options to generate more entertaining and motivating courses for users.

Nachteile:

The only thing that would improve is that the maintenance type support is included in the cost of the license, since that in its beginning it was like that, then separated license of use and license of maintenance.

Very Pleased with iSpring and the Support Team.

Kommentare: I recently had an issue where we needed to produce a report for a user who we accidently deleted from the system. It was a serious HR issue where we needed to provide a report of the courses this individual had taken. However, we were not able to retrieve this report, because this person was deleted from the system. I contacted iSpring Support, and they responded right away, and tracked this report, and provided it that same day. I am extremely grateful for their efforts. This was very important to our company, and I was so glad to be able to provide this to our leadership team. Thank you, iSpring Customer Support.

iSpring Learn is extremely easy to set up and start training immediately, while at the same time producing high quality engaging courses. Integrates with power point, so the learning curve is fast while allowing for customization.

Nachteile:

iSpring LMS + iSpring Suite = Easy e-learning

Kommentare: We use iSpring to train our employees and customers.
When choosing a tool, we wanted to find a cloud solution which would meet several criteria: ease of use for both users and administrators, the capability of publishing courses right from the authoring tool, and a wide range of detailed reports.
After implementing iSpring LMS, we have managed to attract more customers, reduce travel expenses, and create a well-organized knowledge base. It allowed us to concentrate on training practical skills when teaching offline rather than focusing on theory.
Unlike other authoring tools, iSpring features a significant advantage: it doesn't require any technical skills or extra training to start working with it, as it integrates into the PowerPoint environment right away.
iSpring Learn lets you swiftly deploy corporate training with no need to spend days on learning the ropes and setting everything up. In particular, we found it very convenient and easy to brand the learning portal with our corporate colors in accordance with our brand book.
As for the new features of iSpring Learn, we would like to highlight a couple we loved best:
- The capability to create learning paths by combining courses into a curriculum
- Holding webinars right in the iSpring Learn environment
- Being charged only for active users of the system
In the authoring tool, we really love the PPT to MP4 conversion and the capability of automatic course publishing to YouTube. It is also very convenient to create dialogue simulations. We are looking forward to trying out new features like recording voice-overs for the dialogues, and creating audio questions and audio notifications in quizzes. We think those features are really helpful for course creators.
We always recommend iSpring tools to those who are seeking to deploy e-Learning or corporate training.
What we would love to see in one of the upcoming iSpring Learn updates is gamification elements and the capability to recreate the corporate structure inside the LMS.

iSpring Learn

Kommentare: We use iSpring tools when working with children and in order to carry out 2 learning programs: 'Preparing for the Unified State Exam' and 'Preparing for the Economics Competitions.' We conduct both synchronous training using iSpring's webinars and asynchronous training using the combo of iSpring Suite and iSpring LMS. Above all, we were attracted to iSpring by its convenience and ease of use: it is very simple to work with for both tutors and learners. We also love the system's cross-platform compatibility and the capability to take courses on computers, tablets, and smartphones. iSpring software allows us to hold top-level classes, which help our learners win first places in competitions and get highest scores at exams. We would be happy if the tool was compatible with 3rd-party CRM systems and featured an interactive board in the webinar section. I have and will recommend the tool to my colleagues willing to establish an effective learning process.

Vorteile:

The product is very good, certainly the best LMS I have used in the past decade. I wanted to give a particular mention to [sensitive content hidden] who has been an outstanding customer success lead throughout the process and made deployment an easy process. I have dealt with several LMS systems in the past and iSpring has by far been the best to deal with both from a product and customer service perspective.

Nachteile:

At times the tracking of courses can be challenging - particularly when it comes to a mixture of ILT and online courses. Perhaps this is my understanding limitations but clarity on this would be fantastic.

Building an e-learning course with iSpring Learn

Kommentare: I tested iSpring Learn for the development of a prototypic web based learning environment of a preparatory course for the seminar "Presentation and Slide Writing" at the University of Regensburg. For the creating of the learning modules I used iSpring Suite which integrates in Microsoft PowerPoint. Existing Slides were enhenced with several types of media and then uploaded to iSpring Learn. Then the modules, other learning materials and quizzes were combined with the learningpath feature within a few minutes.
The plattform itself is very clean and apealing for the learner and the administration is intuitive (in comparison to moodle). The process of the learners can easily been followed by the extensive report functionality.
In the process of setting up the course the support at iSpring Solutions was fast and helpful (chat, email and bulletin boards).

Vorteile:

- Learning Path Feature (good for micro learning contents and big courses) - Integration of Content (SCORM 1.2/2004 packages, FLV videos, MP4 videos, MP3 audio, SWF, reference documents (PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT)) - Clean look (does not distract) - User management (users can easily be imported and administred)

Nachteile:

- no dowload of excercise sheets possible (yet) - no bulletin boards (users can only interact with others in discussions within a course)

Nachteile:

Includes inactive users in the distribution list which confuses us if the inactive users still receives email notifications. <Ispring suite> the previous quizzes cannot be opened with the new version. an error saying the file is corrupt... kept popping up.

iSpring Suite 8.0

Vorteile:

A very useful add-on for PowePoint lessons. It allows for creation of all types of quizzes (matching, multiple choice, survey, true/false etc.) It is a powerful companion for teachers who want to create interactive lessons/quiz on html, while giving meaningful feedback. It gives power to the designer of the learning material. It allows the creator to give cues to the students about their misconceptions/wrong answers, can restrict the motion among the slides, thus forcing the student to follow a specific lesson before attempting the questions or it allows free motion throughout. The database of character is quite vast too, giving several possible scenarios and emotions. It is very user friendly. Any one can master it in less than one hour, no specific training required. All you need to know is how to use PowerPoint. It provides various options like narration, interaction With its other features like embedding Youtube Videos, web objects, screen recording , various publishing formats, and so on, it can transform a simple PowerPoint into an amazing self-containing course with learning resources repository, compatible with smartphones, tablets, PC and laptops. It is literally extending the classroom to the pockets.

Nachteile:

One improvement would be, to have a wider character range, with more emotions and also to have animated characters so it brings the 'real' feel during the lesson.

Great product; extremely intuitive interface for both end users and administrators

Vorteile:

The pricing structure is very economical for small to medium sized companies - only users who have logged into the system count as an active user. The free mobile app with offline feature is a huge win for my sales team, as it allows them to take training on-the-go.

Nachteile:

The webinar feature does not observe daylight savings. Also, the automatic notifications from the system are limited in terms of types and flexibility for customization.

Feedback and Comments for Isping

Kommentare: I am learning this but it's extremely different to other LMS's. Better than some, not as good as others.

Vorteile:

The functionality around ppt is what was a feature for me. I know there area other facilities available but ppt is what drew me to this.

Nachteile:

Learning the Ispring Learn site is not easy with just manuals , chats and limited time. I should have arranged this training from the beginning.

Flexible & functional

Kommentare: Very reasonable price/quality relation, qualified tech. support, vendor develops this product constantly and adding new extended functionality.

Vorteile:

Easy to start and intuitive, flexible enough. You can quickly convert PowerPoint file into LMS format. Convertion does not affect animation and movements of PowerPoint slides.

Nachteile:

Complicate in case of existing program changing. You can't attach some types of files. Built-in webinar tool has limited functionality and you have to use only PowerPoint which is already converted and placed to LMS.

Initial Set Up and functionality of ispring Learn and iSpring suite

Kommentare: In these current times of isolation web based training will be at the forefront. I am still learning about the package and I know if I need assistance it is there for me.

Vorteile:

All training material from Japan is in Power point format. Ispring suit intergrates with this software beautifully .

Nachteile:

The help notes do not always address "How to " I have had two main issues so far and was resolved by the help desk. As a trainer I like to work things out by myself however in both cases I hit a brick wall. Both issues were easily corrected when the solution was pointed out.

iSpring has helped us make major improvements to our training program!

Vorteile:

The basics of iSpring were easy for our team to learn... if you've used Power Point you can easily create great training modules with iSpring.

Nachteile:

There really are no cons to iSpring. It's worth investing some time to learn some of the more advanced features like creating simulations and interactive learning.

Vorteile:

Friendly, easy to use, online videos helped me a lot to get to grips, had some issues changing my URL as I started out, but I got online help. Still need some help to get my eCommerce tested with Paypal - dont know if this is set up correctly as iI need another credit card to test the purchase

Nachteile:

Seems some of my fields I selected in iSpring does not poplulate in iLearn. So I end up doing it twice? Would like to get more quiz types? When publishing online; I have to wait and cannot use MS Presentation while the upload publishing it taking place.
