The best things about Time To Pet are that it was easy to purchase, learn how to use, and integrate into my existing business structure, in other words, accessibility.
I really can’t think of a negative with the actual software. I think my only negative comment would be that I feel they need live customer service via phone and not just via email.

Excellent software for people who work with pets
Technologically superior software
Kommentare: Time To Pet's automated confirmations and invoicing system have freed much of my time and allowed me a more hassle-free experience with running my day-to-day operations. The integration with QuickBooks allows me painless bookkeeping and the reports show me exactly where money is coming and going so I can get a better handle on my business. I no longer worry about my staff not being notified about a change to their schedule or their pay being correct. Overall TTP has saved my company so much time and allows us to create a better customer experience, improving the quality of care we offer.
Vorteile:
Its easy to transfer your client lists from previous software and customer support are there to help any time you need. The integration is pretty seamless and TTP has a lot more functionality than some of the older applications. I've been using various pet sit software since 2010, and TTP is far superior on so many levels. The Portal is easily customizable, allowing you a great deal of freedom in creating your business concept.I love that clients cannot schedule without the required fields or vaccinations of my choosing. GPS reports are customizable for different types of visits, and SMS notifications allow clients, sitters, or managers to access important messages all at once, without any back tracking or privacy invasion.
Nachteile:
I would love it Time To Pet used barcoding for keys since it's difficult to search for keys unless you create a customizable field every time you search, being the default search function in TTP is for Names only. Having a larger company makes it easier to track keys using a barcoding system since we have a lot of clients and pets with the same names. I also do care for the view when you are looking at a clients schedule. It looks a bit clunky and is not ordered correctly, so you have to sift through pages of scheules sometimes. A simple calendar view would be more appealing and easier to spot inconsistencies. Lastly, there is no designation for species when adding vaccination requirements, so if you look after exotic pets and require vaccines, they won't be allowed to schedule services. Disabling this feature will not require vaccine records so they have to be manually added with every new pet.

It’s simplified, organized, and streamlined everything, giving me peace of mind knowing that all aspects of my business are centralized in one place. My clients love the transparency it offers, from clear invoicing to seamless scheduling and real-time communication through the portal and app. Both are incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for me to build strong relationships with clients. Some of my favorite features are the QuickBooks integration, the scheduling tool, and the report cards. Time To Pet is full of fantastic tools that have made my business more efficient and my clients happier!
Nachteile:
It's honestly difficult to pinpoint any real cons with Time To Pet. After switching from another pet sitting/dog walking software, I've been able to find everything I need over time. They’ve clearly thought through a lot of the details. That said, I do wish there was an easier way to mark off holiday weeks. It would also be great to have a client-facing board where I could post updates and announcements, so clients can check for important information on their own. Currently, email is the primary method, and since some clients opt out of receiving emails, they may miss key updates. Aside from that (and even considering that), Time To Pet has been fantastic!

Too expensive for Large Teams
Kommentare: Originally enjoyed using it. It's been a gradual decline. Hopefully they resolve issues and lower pricing.

- gps tracking - client tags - DOC tab under client profiles for photo and video references for walkers
Nachteile:
it can be glitche from saving schedule changes, to uploading photos, to GPS deciding if it wants to work and customer service. tech issues are seen more with android users too. Overall, it doesn't seem worth the issues for over $100 a month.
Best Pet Sitting Software in the Industry

Time To Pet saves me so much time running my business. It has a ton of features all in one system, so I don't have to switch between multiple platforms. I can keep track of client/pet data, communicate with clients and staff internally and do all of my invoicing in Time To Pet. Scheduling is a breeze and frees up time for me grow my business. I also love that Time To Pet is continuously adding new features.
Nachteile:
Time To Pet offers so many features, so there was a learning curve at first. Well worth the investment.

Kommentare: I am extremely happy with this software and the app that goes with it. It has cut the time I spend on admin duties in half. My clients love the app and the ease of use.

I love that almost everything I need to run my company seamlessly is in one program rather than having to use 5+ different programs
Nachteile:
It's is a pretty costly monthly fee especially for a small start-up with very few clients, but it is well worth it in the long run and to start your clients on it sooner rather than later.

The Absolute Best
Vorteile:
The best software for Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Businesses. Customer service is fast, tons of help articles, and easy to use client booking. You won't find a better, easier to use software.
Nachteile:
The reports and analytics are great, but would like to be able to filter and customize a bit more.

Their team is so responsive and helpful! And they have super useful articles that explain clearly how to do things online and in the app. Any time I don't know how to do something there's an article or person to help!

Highly recommend for pet care providers
Vorteile:
TTP is very easy to use, especially for my clients. It is customizable so I can add my logo and business colors to it and there is SO much to customize but they also help by giving you templates too. It has helped me stay organize and there is a free downloadable app too. TTP still updates their software to keep up with the times and they truly listen to feedback.
Nachteile:
Only con is the extra price per employee, I am happy I don't have too many employees but I am still growing and wish to add more & more so when I get further in business I am worried about the cost.

My IT background gave me a unique perspective when evaluating pet sitting apps and this was the best
Kommentare: Increased communication with staff and customers, visibility into staff work behaviors, GPS location tracking, paper reduction, lower postage costs, audit history which has provided proof when customers questioned the services they were provided, integration with QuickBooks Online, electronic payment processing, email campaigns/bulk messaging, and much more!
Vorteile:
My customers use it and love it! There's something for everyone: email capture for those who prefer email for simple email communications, a customer portal for the online users, and a smartphone app for the trendiest of our clients who want instant access. Our walkers/pet sitters love it! The smartphone app puts client information at their fingertips and gives them instant access to GPS for directions to the next house. Customizable visit reports allow staff to provide a good deal of feedback to customers with very little effort. Office staff love it! We have full visibility to customer requests and data updates, as well as walker locations and their communications with customers. Client service requests and electronic payments reduce workload. Management loves it! Integration with QuickBooks eliminates double entry, and client payment processing and bulk invoicing reduce workload. Reports provide insight into the business. Time to Pet is truly the core of our business.
Nachteile:
Applying a single check to multiple invoices could be more straightforward. If not caught immediately, errors resulting from improper data entry must be corrected in both TTP and QuickBooks. TTP Support has acknowledged the issue and plans to address it in a future release. Data extracts are limited to what is predefined by TTP. I would love the ability to query data directly into Excel to build the more complex reports I need. The built-in staff scheduling features are a bit too basic for my needs, so I use a free third-party product to allow staff to manage their availability and time off requests. This means that unless I replicate their work shifts in TTP manually, I risk making scheduling errors (which I have) and cause last-minute scrambling to fill gaps that could have been avoided. Payroll functionality is too simple for my business. I use Intuit Payroll, and although TTP enables me to extract data needed for payroll, it is a time consuming biweekly effort.

This is the best pet sitting software on the market
Kommentare: Customer service is lightning fast! The software was great at the beginning but the owners are not content with that. They keep making it better and better. I can't wait to see what additions they make to Time To Pet in the future.
Vorteile:
The software is very modern and up to date. It is very intuitive which makes training new staff easy. The schedular has a great calendar with drag and drop capability. Everything is integrated so nothing falls through the cracks. Our customers have also enjoyed using the software. The software encourages customers to leave tips when making payments. Where we weren't getting many tips before we now get lots of tips. The software has more than paid for itself just in tips!
Nachteile:
Since we pay our employees by the hour including travel time between visits we would like to see the tracking of travel time integrated more automatically into the software.

Worth the Price
Kommentare: Overall, my experience with TTP has been positive, and not once have I thought about leaving for a competitor.
Vorteile:
I have used TTP for most of my business years. It's a one-stop shop for me and my clients. What I like the most is that the customer service is always available and super knowledgeable. They are always doing updates to better the app's performance!
Nachteile:
The price is higher than some of the others.

I rely on Time To Pet for my business everyday
Kommentare: My business is organized and I don't miss messages or scheduled visits that clients have requested. I don't think I could run my business effectively without it.
Vorteile:
I tried a few different software options when I began my pet sitting/dog walking business in 2014. After struggling with another popular software for a month and still not understanding the simplest of tasks, I tried Time To Pet and within one day I could do everything without having to watch training videos and 'learn' how to use it. It's simple for me and my clients constantly tell me it's simple for them and they love it. The creators of Time To Pet are actively in touch with us (the users) through a Facebook group dedicated only to their customers. They answer questions and concerns very quickly and have been working on updates and new features constantly. Every couple of months, another cool feature is added.
Nachteile:
I wish I could respond to client messages by replying to their emails or texts. I receive their messages in a timely fashion but replying can be a lot of extra steps. I'm sure this is something they are working on incorporating in the near future though.

From the time I started my business, others in the biz suggested that I get started early on rather than waiting until I grew - it was the right decision. TTP saves me time on tedious admin tasks related to my business. This allows me to focus on clients and their pets. If I have questions, their help desk is quick to respond and honestly, the best support I have ever received - I highly recommend Time to Pet for anyone in the pet sitting/dog walking biz.

There is nothing that I like least about TTP it is a great program!

Kommentare: They add so much value to my life that I have only but good things to say about this company, seriously. Even when times get tough, like when I made a personal mistake in the system that cost me potentially high, they took so much extra time to make sure I got every single penny back in a timely manner. You'd think these guys are too busy for you, but then they get back to you so fast. These guys don't mess around.
Vorteile:
Their scheduler is amazing. It's like Google Cal or iCal at first glimpse, so I immediately took to it. Their bulk scheduling is what is truly so helpful. It's just that the way this software was set up allows me to run this business like it's an exact science. Every part about it is smart and makes sense. And if you ever have issues with a way they do business, you can email them and they'll change something. They are so modest when it comes to change - and that's how theyve been able to set themselves apart from the rest of their competition. Every month changes re explained in a newsletter and it's uncanny to see all the change they've made based on customer suggestion. I also love how the main tech guy is so smart and at the same time easy to talk to. You don't always get that in the tech world :-D. I coudn't be happier with the program and family of TTP.

Stand Out From The Crowd!
Kommentare: Maintaining an accurate database of our clients and ICs, customize this information, draw many reports from it, and allows me and the wife to schedule effectively and reliably. Great feedback from clients old and new. Customer service, which is so important, is second to none.

Great features, a professional looking app which is very reliable, and support which is second to none - quick, friendly and they always strive to answer any issues first time.
Nachteile:
I haver everything I need on this package and cannot think of anything I would add. If I did, I know that they listen and consider adding. During my time with them (1-2 years) they regularly putout updates with new features most of which you can chose to use / activate, or if not relevant to how you run your business, you just don't use it, or consider adding it as you didn't realize you needed it!

One of the first priorities when I set up MGB Pet Sitters, LLC was to research, test, try-out free, and decide on a scheduling program. I'm not a high tech person so it had to be easy to install, set-up, and use. I tried four programs. Time to Pet met all my expectations. TTP has grown with the industry; updates are helpful and increase our effectiveness in customer service. The best reason to by Time to Pet is the company leadership and support staff. When you send a question or problem the answer is promised in one day but usually arrives within a few hours. And the answer is always on point. I'm happy to recommend this software to everyone in the pet care business.
Nachteile:
Any issues I had have been addressed. The knowledge base articles have helped me with a few things I did not understand.

MOST of all, the added level of professionalism that goes along with having a program like this is HUGE! It keeps you organized and able to focus more time on the fun stuff (loving dogs) than on admin work.
My experience to date has been nothing but fantastic!

I loved how quickly I was able to learn the software. I had trialled two other programs as well and found that neither had the ease of use that Time to Pet offers. They really strive to make your transition into using the program a smooth one, offering you a step-by-step learning tutorial and thereafter an even more informative info/learning session with one of the program reps if you choose. My client's love the ease of use as well and look forward to their daily reports sent to their email.
Nachteile:
-I do wish there were a few more Icons for the reports. -I would like to have the same admin access from my phone through the app to make adjustments on the go rather than having to use my computer (I believe they are working on this). -I am also looking forward to the integration of Quickbooks (in Canada) -Would love to see video capability added in when sending the reports out rather than just photos. -I would also like to have a number to call in times when I just want something resolved quickly. While their customer service really is great, I am just the type that likes to pick up the phone rather than communicate via email.

Vorteile:
We LOVE Time to Pet. We implemented this software in 2016 and it literally changed the entire way we do business. We tried a few other pet care software systems before TTP, and there was really no comparison. Not to mention the team is really incredible, helpful, and attentive to everyone's needs.
Nachteile:
There isn't much, honestly. Anything we've "needed" or have been lacking in the software, TTP has been extremely quick to take it into consideration and made adaptations to our needs, or help us understand how we can make the software better work for our systems.
