i love it for accounting, interesting

Vorteile:

the workflow is excellent, once the invoices are registered the payments are made after a short time. and the accounting is easier to manage with this tool

Nachteile:

unfortunately it is not possible to make changes to your provider, which is annoying. otherwise the software is great

Accounting Time Saver!

Kommentare: Overall I've had a great experience with Avid, I just wish they would make small changes to Capture.

Vorteile:

I love that Avid makes it easy to pay invoices but downloading them to a que and inserting all important information. All I have to do is review the invoice and click submit. This saves me a ton of time per invoice.

Nachteile:

I dislike the capture system. If an invoice is listed as a duplicate and it is not, there is no easy way to get it processed anyways.

Best Decision for our Payables

Kommentare: Overall great! Implementation Team was helpful, patient, prompt and kept things on track.

Vorteile:

Ease of use and fully integrates with our software (MIP Fund Accounting). Implementation Team was awesome! Allowed us to move to electronic approvals and alleviated need to shuffle paper. Documentation readily available as needed with complete audit trail.

Nachteile:

Could not incorporate distribution codes housed in MIP; work around was found. Implementation training limited to personal data - test data would have allowed for more practice. To be fair we didn't ask for additional practice.

The parent of all apps!

Kommentare: my overall experience is great. Using PW which is a subsidy of Avidexchange is my main work feature

i would say its good when it comes to communicating with customer service to find a solution

difficulty logging in when you want to log in to PW fro example

An absolute MUST HAVE!

Kommentare: I've used AvidXchange for a few years and it blows my mind how we used to code invoices without it! It communicates flawlessly with our accounting software, making the process smooth!

Vorteile:

AvidXchange is a brilliant software making coding invoices easy and efficient! Gone are the days of manual coding and scanning! I love being able to send invoices to the email and have them in the portal to quickly code and submit. This software makes coding seamless and easy! A workflow game changer truly.

Nachteile:

No cons! If I must list one, I would say the timeliness of check delivery. Other than that, I love this software!

Avid for Bill Pay

Vorteile:

Makes Bill Pay easy with approval workflows. Easy to communicate to other team members in workflow. export/upload to Appfolio seamless. Reports make spreadsheets for owner bills. Also support is easy to connect with and very helpful

Nachteile:

Would be helpful to be able to have separate export for owner bills with avid extracting the markup. But this would be an entire new level of service.

Overall - a good product

This process has reduced our work load significantly, the process works very smooth for review and seamless payment process.

Nachteile:

the onboarding process too longer than we anticipated and more resources than expected but glad we did it.

Best product on market

Kommentare: We solved a very old school numerous step AP process that was inaccurate and caused missed invoices. This product is simple, streamlined, efficent, and accurate with the double checks it has.

Vorteile:

AvidXchange and AvidPay have been an amazing addition to our company. A process that used to take hours for numerous positions to implement, has now been dwindled down to just 1 person a little every day. It made it so our company has been able to streamline accounts payable. The ease of the software and the unbeatable customer service was crucial to the implementation. The onboarding process was smooth and we had people helping us every step of the way. Integration with Quickbooks was done successfully, and even when we hit a few bumps along the way, their team jumped on it and got it done.

Nachteile:

Honestly, everything is great. The only improvement I could see is a better search tool for AvidPay, more like the invoice search tool, as the current one takes a bit to figure out. That being said, the great customer service from [sensitive content hidden], made it so we learned how to use it correctly.

Ease of invoice submission, work flows for approvals and running queries on historical bill payments

Nachteile:

Occationally the platform experiences technical issues preventing you from searching or approving invoices. Resolutions occur longer than necessary.

A great program to have!

Vorteile:

I loved the ease of use, as there was a low learning curve. The process of invoicing is efficient from start to finish. It gets the job done and I would recommend this program to anyone looking for invoice processing software.

Nachteile:

Searching for the status of an invoice can sometimes be a challenge. From my experience, searching by name hasn't always been enough when I didn't have any further information. I would recommend a shortcut to invoice searches.

Easy to use but wish I had more access

Vorteile:

The platform is easy to use and navigate. It isn't hard to search for what you need. The process of entering AP is easy.

Nachteile:

I don't like that I have to email AP to be entered. I would prefer to be able to upload it myself and have it readily available. Or, at least have the option to upload AP directly to Avid when it is urgent. I don't have as much access in Avid as I do other AP platforms and it can be frustrating when I have to change something on an invoice. For example, if the amount was entered incorrectly, I have to comment to have someone change it, instead of being able to change it myself at that moment.

Review of Avid xchange

Kommentare: Easy to use, but poor customer support. Cannot call anyone; only accept e-mail and response time is poor....several days later impacting timing of month ends, payments to vendors, etc. late fees incurred, etc.

Experience has been poor customer support. Often invoices scanned to avid are sent to "research" for no reason other than person was too lazy to figure it out.

Vorteile:

It is very user friendly. There is not much I would change about it.

Nachteile:

I would like to be able to run reports with just the information I need. The spreadsheets that I download when reviewing invoice history has several columns with repeat information, and several columns that do not contain data.

I love Avid!

Vorteile:

I love that I can email in an invoice from anywhere!

Nachteile:

I hate that I'm not able to edit the invoice once it's been uploaded but I think I may just be blocked.

AvidXchange is a great handholder for advancement

Kommentare: Our experience with AX is that they sell what you buy--meaning--no false promises and a great deal of kindness, functionality and grace with the transfer to a new system.

Vorteile:

The feature that is most impactful for me is their onboarding process. They meet with you each week to make sure the issues coming up are not only solved, but explained so that you have ownership of the operations. Their patience with those less technically inclined is fantastic.Although the software interface is very busy, all things seem to be labeled very logically and you can "poke" around to find things and not create issues.

Nachteile:

There was not a way to tie "class" from Quickbooks to AX which was tough for us, because of being a semi-governmental organization, we have to track expenditures in a very detailed way.

support is not that great. Take days to get sometime reply back.

Kommentare: I do not like how long it takes to get an invoice from approval status to paid. Many vendors call because the payment has taken so long - not sure if there's a different way to handle this to make it move along faster.

The thing we like most about AvidXchange is that they receive all of the paper invoices and scan them in to the system for us & filter out duplicates.
