Innovint is an essential part of our winery workflow.

Kommentare: Clean and easy tracking of winery inventory and operations. I am most excited about having ready access to data about past vintages as time progresses and we're looking back at previous years. Having all that data in a well-functioning system is key to our success. At my first winery job, we used very archaic software to manage production, and the burden of using that system nearly outweighed the benefits thereto. Not the case with Innovint.

Vorteile:

Design and interface is clean, modern, and functional. Most operations are very easy to track. Configurable templates for repetitive operations allow you to customize your workflow to your winery processes. iPhone app is very handy on the winery floor for data capture and retrieval on the fly. Generating compliance forms has seemed to go very smoothly so far (hopefully that will continue as our operation gets more complex).

Nachteile:

Really need an Android app. (I'm an iOS user, so I'm fine, but my partner in the winery is an Android guy and he's out in the cold.) I'd love to see some costing functionality added to make life easier on us from an accounting perspective. It's a little burdensome at this point to manually convey wine movements to the accountants for them to integrate into our COGS tracking.

Best wine production software I've ever used

Kommentare: What can I say? I love everything about it. Implementation and training go quite smoothly and operation is a breeze. I don't myself use the vineyard module, but I hear good things. Overall, Innovint pays for itself many times over in eliminating frustration and minimizing wasted labor.

Vorteile:

Written by winemakers, Innovint functionality is intuitively obvious to any winemaker with zero learning curve. Its cloud-based interface isn't subject to viruses and hacking and is accessible from any device anywhere. I love being able to drill down from my California office into the details of my mid-western winery clients' activities. The 3D tank maps are a big step up from the old dry erase board - I got my wall space back!

Nachteile:

I wish there were a planning tool to try out racking scenarios in a separate "sandbox." I also wish there were customizable icons for the 3D map, as we have some pretty weird vessel configurations. Another concern is that when I recommend the software, I'm never quite sure what they're charging now. I got in when it was incredibly cheap, so I don't begrudge the price increases, but I hope they've stabilized now.

Software is easy to use, but with a few bugs. Still lacking functionality and breadth of reporting

Vorteile:

I like the aesthetics and the intuitive interface. The searchability and sorting features do make it easy to navigate. I also like the direct connectivity to ETS (I wish the connectivity to Enartis were established too)

Nachteile:

- We are still getting many popup notifications "Something went wrong... try again" _ I wish the link between the vessel and the lot number was a lot tighter and more interchangeable (It would be easier to make work orders by entering either the lot number or the vessel, vs lot number first and then choose the vessel - Lot numbers use a lot more characters than tank numbers and it is often, not always easier to remember a tank number than a complicated lot acronym) - I wish Exports to Excel would be more comprehensive - I would love to be able to make corrections in the past without having to re-enter every subsequent operations.

Much better than other programs

Kommentare: Overall very good. I like the people they have hired and I enjoy using the system day-to-day.

Vorteile:

Great customer service and set-up help. Really made sure I understood the material and how best to use all the elements. Very responsive when I have questions/problems. Pretty streamlined to use and user friendly. It seems much more geared to winemakers and cellars than other database programs (I have used 4 others in the past). The mobile option is very user friendly and easy to use as well. Good help content for troubleshooting on your own as well. Fast to record actions and move between tabs/pages.

Nachteile:

Missing a couple features that I enjoyed from older database programs, but they are adding more stuff every month.

Solid Product that does Wine Production well!

Kommentare: I use it from a business perspective as an Owner of the winery. I like the high level information I can get at a glance and the detailed information I can get when I really want to dig into the data.

Vorteile:

I like the overall user interface and that it is very intuitive to use. They also take feedback and incorporate it as new features if it gets enough demand.

Nachteile:

There are a few things that I think would make life easier on the Remove Tax Paid section but overall it's solid.

Maxville Winery Innovint Review

Vorteile:

The easy transition from another product and the user friendly software that allows users to easily update or change previous submitted tasks. The customer support center is also very helpful and timely when it comes to assisting users.

Nachteile:

Overall there is nothing negative to say about this product.

InnoVint is User Friendly

Vorteile:

I really enjoy how user friendly and intuitive the production software is. Coming from a different software, we were very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get up and going with InnoVint. The last software we were using was great on the surface, but proved to be too cumbersome for the production team to use on a daily basis, usually getting more fed up with it than not, essentially rendering it useless. With InnoVint, even with minimal amount of training, the team has been able to get started and going using this software. A huge improvement to what we were previously doing.

Nachteile:

So far, we haven't found anything we dislike about the software.

THE winery software!

Kommentare: Perfect. A seamless integration into production that keeps giving.

Vorteile:

An endless array of features and tools for winery management. It serves as a right-hand tool for almost every level of data/information management, production management, and compliance.

Nachteile:

Some features, like harvest worksheets, could use a little refinement for initial user friendliness.

I have not worked overtime on non harvest activities since I started using Innovint

Kommentare: I am a big fan. It has made my job way less stressful.

Vorteile:

It saves me so much time and energy. Even when I am away from the winery I can still access and give precise work orders without any problems

Nachteile:

There are some instances where mistaken entries are really hard to correct or erase

Well integrated winery software for mid sized winery

Kommentare: Customer service and webinars are very beneficial. The software is easy to learn and very accessible and i have been able to integrate it into my only daily record keeping device. It has definitely helped me track a lot of actions in the cellar that had not been previously logged. So i would say overall it just keeps things in the winery more organized.

Vorteile:

I think what I most like about this software is instant access to information on the fly. Having the ability to look at the history on a wine from my phone when I dont have access to wifi. This is crucial to me as I spend more time on the ground than in the office.

Nachteile:

It can be a bit challenging to get inventory items switched around. That is if someone makes a mistake entering in a code or possibly inputting a barrel into the wrong lot it can be a bit challenging to change this short of deleting all of the work you have put in the system.

Great platform for winery staff and consultants!

Kommentare: As a winery compliance consultant my office uses Innovint on behalf of several winery clients. From the first time I logged on I was pleased to find it to be very intuitive, easy to navigate and the overall clean look to it. As someone with decades of experience in TTB winery compliance I was really glad to see the report actually identified by it's correct form number! (5120.17) I've heard from clients that they are happy with it to. The few times I've needed to reach out to support have all been very responsive and helpful as well, which is always appreciated!

Vorteile:

I have found Innovint to be very intuitive from the first time I used it. This is huge in the world of wine production software! For someone like myself who has used several platforms over 20 plus years it is very much appreciated to find one that is easy & attractive to navigate.

Nachteile:

Well- you recently added what I'd been hoping to see which is tracking cased goods!

Innovint has thus far been user friendly.

Kommentare: That's kind of an amorphous question.
Innovint benefits the cellar and production dynamic in that it creates a cloud-based, user friendly way for all aspects of grapes to wine to be tracked, planned and executed.

Vorteile:

I like how despite being on the cloud, the action on the interface is quite smooth. Comparing it to something like Google Sheets, it runs much more smoothly. Integrating the ETS analysis automatically to our records will prove useful. The robust detail in the vessel section from barrels is helpful. Being able to write notes and them compare notes on each barrel is also helpful.

Nachteile:

Not all data can export into a csv file. For example, a 15 barrel lot of Pinot noir might have barrels making a single vineyard, barrels making a regional blend, and barrels getting declassified. The functionality of writing notes via Iphone is hugely convenient. However, the only way to access those notes is to click on each barrel individually. The notes are of the upmost importance and Innvint should be able to export those into a file. I was told the workaround for this was to create a tag, but it's not possible to create a tag with the Iphone (at least I have not found a means for doing that). The long and the short is that all the data at every level should be able to export to file. Using Excel in conjuction with Innovint for this finer data would make Innovint that much more robust.

Best User Interface in the Industry

Kommentare: The few times I have needed support the team's help has exceeded my expectations. The software is super easy to use. They are constantly adding features that make my job easier.

Vorteile:

The user interface encourages the database to be used frequently and often. Great functionality and features are worthless without data input. They have the best user experience in the winemaking software industry. The data lives in a place where it can readily be used.

Nachteile:

Support used to be a private member-only software that required a separate sign-in. This has been resolved. I would have to search for something to complain about.

We simply love the ease of use and the functionality.

Kommentare: We are keeping much better track of our inventory and the management of our wine QC. Also, the 702's are now very easy to file. Saves me lots of spreadsheets and hours of hassle.

Vorteile:

Simple, all of it. We love how easy it is to use and update. If I had to name one thing, it is the iphone App. I love to be able to see inventory and changes on my phone, no matter where I am in the world.

Nachteile:

Still a bit of a challenge if we top with a different vintage or a different variety across lots of other lots. This seems to make it a blend. Would be cool to have Oak Tank as an option with its own icon. Would be great to get an android app.

Awesome software for a small-midsize winery

Kommentare: Saves time in Production. Easy to use. Support get back to you quickly. I like that they check on your account to see where you are in setup.

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

No hands on training. Mostly online training and support.

Been with Innovint for years - have always loved its intuitiveness and ease to use.

Kommentare: Organization, reliability, and access from anywhere.

Vorteile:

The ease of use and ability to make our lives more organized. The dashboard is very helpful and always having up to date analysis is key.

Nachteile:

Would be nice to have some other features included like writing bill of lading but altogether, love it!

Customer support

Kommentare: customer support helps greatly with any issues as well as taking on suggestions, many of which have been employed, making for a user friendly, more comprehensive product

Vorteile:

Customer support and acceptance of feedback

Nachteile:

features that have not been covered in the original product seem to be on the 'to do' list or already brought on

Great UI, has a great feature set and makes tracking winemaking actions that much easier

Vorteile:

The look and feel is great - very usable. Has most of the items that us as winemakers need to make and track winemaking activities.

Nachteile:

Still some features are not built yet and some minor things could be improved to make entering work orders easier for the frequent but work-order intensive actions easier. Topping/SO2 adds have made progress but should still be a bit easier to do.

Basic winemaker use.

Vorteile:

It's fairly stupid proof, and delivers the basics well for those who aren't necessarily tech savvy.

Nachteile:

Clunky interface, data retrieval is weak. Servers get overloaded, and it doesn't have an autosave so you can lose work in progress if you get out of the internet mid work order.

Very good experience as we moved to the new system from different platforms.

Vorteile:

clear, visual, user friendly, in depth and winemaking focus. control with work orders so we know what was done, when and by who. good support system to go through bugs in the system.

Nachteile:

still in development. some inconsistency between user accounts. the software is still growing and adapting. options for integration with iPhone are good but lacking depth and customization. it will come but still in process

QR codes for barrels, blend preview, WO system, Tags, notes, reporting is very easy and clear, ETS integration

Nachteile:

vessel search, slow to submit and save actions, mobile app is not interesting except to fill up WOs for the team

Vorteile:

All my vessels and lots are in one place and easily accessible via computer or my smart phone! Definitely making life easier!

Nachteile:

I find it difficult to go back and undo certain things such as changing lot size and updating grower information.

Being able to update and log information from anywhere in the winery is very helpful and time saving

Nachteile:

There is a bit of a learning curve on how to make the system work for our particular process of winemaking
