Ease and App...great costumer service...even haircutting clothes delivered in person.
They billed me on the third of this month and then again on the 11th for $29. They also charged me $29 for messaging which I opted out of when I first got the app but they charged me anyway.

Excellent Convenient App

I love the way that there is constant development, and improvement since i first joined 2 years ago.
The app has allowed me more room for quality time with clients, as customers can schedule appointments at their own convenience, without interfering with consultation sessions.
Vorteile:
The app is extremely user-friendly and advances on a monthly basis. The support is always friendly and very responsive.
Nachteile:
Nothing really, as I said there are so many things still to come and to add, which is extremely exciting.

I purchased this software for my daughter who is a brand new salon owner. I wanted to make sure that she was able to communicate with her clients in a way that would be effective and easy to use so that she did not have any issues. For the volume she's currently taking in, this works well and it's not stressful.
Nachteile:
I'm personally not a fan of the app visually. To me it seems a little dated however that's just an aesthetic. The app definitely does what we need it to do so no complaint there.
Great on the inside but outside could use a little work

Booksy is super easy to use on the business side of things. It takes just a couple of minutes to set up and then you're good to go, customers can book their own appointments based on your availability.
Nachteile:
I didn't experience this myself, but customers kept complaining about the interface being clunky, I had people go to my website and email saying "please can I just make an appointment without going through that website." Definitely not what you want in a system!
Booksy Review
Kommentare: My overall experience with Booksy has been great. It’s a great price for the features it offers and it makes running my business easier for me. Not to mention my clients also like how easy it is to use.
Vorteile:
What I like and appreciate most about this software is the mobile access, appointment scheduling, and confirmation/reminders. These are some of the main things about this software that makes it easy not only for me, but for my customers to use.
Nachteile:
I do feel calendar sync could be improved. I do like this feature, but I’ve had issues with my appointments not being on my calendar even though someone would schedule their appointment.

Personal Use Booking
Vorteile:
Simplicity, sensible recommendations based on usage, reminders with a timeline that makes sense, integrates well with Google assistant.
Nachteile:
No cons - I have not encountered a situation where Booksy has had errors.

The worst app and business owners should be aware
Kommentare: I hate that Genbook merged with Booksy, they couldn’t have picked such a terrible software. Customer service is horrible, please don’t respond with “get in touch with info.us@booksy.com” because I ALREADY have and yet no response, mind you this was last week. My bank account has not been verified after almost 1 week and a half and I’ve been sending over numerous documents but nothing. I NEED to talk to someone over this issue because I’m potentially losing a lot of money especially with no shows. Don’t even get my started on every client has to give a deposit? Or at least that’s what I was told on the chat. Oh, and the chat.. you ask a question on the chat and get a response HOURS later.. like Business owners have that time? Anyways, these are my main points, I can go on. If you do respond, please let me know how I can get a refund since I paid Genbook.

Booksy for booking
Kommentare: My experience has been very favorable and have really had and unfavorable problems
Vorteile:
That i can book from home at my own convenience. And it allows me to see all times and days
Nachteile:
Sometimes it doesn't always show the cancelations incase i need an appointment at another time

Makes booking haircuts simple
Kommentare: Overall I have had a very positive experience. My bookings have always gone through without issue.
Vorteile:
Booksy makes it very easy for me to book my haircut appointments. It shows all the available days and times that my barber is free.
Nachteile:
I wouldn't say there is anything I dislike about Booksy, however it could be nice to have a request feature. For example, sometimes my barber works overtime so it could be useful to request an appointment in case they are able to cut my hair outside of regular hours.

Kommentare: very poor, genbook was much better. Scheduled calls to review issue and no-one called at scheduled time to discuss issues.

This software is pretty self explanatory to my customers, thus it makes very easy for me to run my business.

Great for scheduling appointments and organising your life really very easy to cancel and rebook things if needed.

There is nothing to dislike I would always recommend to a friend.
Disappointed with takeover of Genbook
Kommentare: Booksy took over Genbook quickly with very little warning. They did NOT make sure they had the same features in place before this, which made the transition challenging for clients as well as practitioners. They still have not added the features we needed. At a minimum I wish they would have made sure they could offer the same simple features of Genbook before the takeover.
Vorteile:
They integrated my customers and reviews from Genbook when they purchased it. This was convenient... that said, many other things since have been a nightmare.
Nachteile:
There are no options to send repeat or automatic reminder to clients. They collect client information and encourage them to sign up for "booksy" to get an appointment. Clients have a lot of trouble making appointments, often get frustrated, then reach out by email anyway. There are no options for resource management, room management, or group classes. There is no option to show the "buffer" time set on the calendar; this allows practitioners to accidentally overbook themselves, we worked around this by adding time on to the appointment time, but then clients contact us and ask if their session is actually 30 minutes longer than expected.

Search "resources" in the Booksy Library or reach out to support via chat for tutorials on how to implement them in your Booksy.
Great App
Kommentare: My over experience with Booksy has been great I love the fact that that it has everything you need.

That it was easier to use and it was the reminders and confirmation of the service that I like most of all

Disaster for my business
Kommentare: It has been a nightmare. My business is down to half capacity. I regret not leaving immediately at the beginning of the year, but the problems compounded to the point where I must get a new booking system in order for my business to survive.
Vorteile:
When they bought Genbook the migration was handled adequately and the transition was relatively smooth.
Nachteile:
Everything else. The software is very buggy, customers began having trouble booking online and my schedule became less and less full over time. Customer support is non-existent. We lost the wait list function of genbook, we lost reviews, everything takes 3-4 extra clicks. They seem to be only interested in capturing my clients data so they can spam them. It was so cumbersome to book that many clients just started calling or texting me, defeating the purpose of online booking.

What am I paying for?

Very client friendly. Super easy for them to book and reach you.
Nachteile:
Customer service is atrocious. I have been waiting over 24 hours for the chat team to get back to me after they stopped responded mid conversation. They will just completely ignore you. You have to wait forever to to get someone on the phone. They have an option to have your daily- yearly reports sent to you from the app. It used to work and now you can only do it from a desktop computer or a tablet. The option to do it from the app is there but it doesn’t work. You will book an appointment and it will disappear off your book or never show up. Let’s not talk about how long it takes to get your money from them. I refuse to even take payment through them because they are so inconsistent with fees and will tell you your money has been sent when it hasn’t. All in all I’m not sure what I am paying for. I wouldn’t recommend Booksy ever.

Revolutionary product that makes life easier
Kommentare: It brings the supply and demand together in the market. I guess the simplest description can be this. Finding a place with the service I need and making an appointment has never been so easy.
Vorteile:
First of all, great idea and product. It solves a big problem for everyone in everyday life. I can't express enough how Booksy improved my life quality by making appointments and reservations in the most simplified way. Moreover, it allows me to make a more informed decision as I can see other reviews. Filters and sorting helps a lot. I can't imagine my life now without Booksy.
Nachteile:
I am a long term user so I can say that at the beginning UI/UX was not as intuitive. However, they do release product updates and improve the tool so I can't really complain.

Long time customer
Kommentare: It was good at first, after covid things changed, mainly getting help and customer service.
Vorteile:
All in one marketing tool. Great for new stylist as it helps bring in clients.
Nachteile:
Customer service is not as good as when I originally started with them. Not all features work properly. I feel like they started to nickel and dime. Can't choose how you wanted deposits taken ( has to go thru their payment system). Was not as customizable as I'd like it to be

Booksy - good not great for medical office

Vorteile:
I liked the design of the software and it was so convenient to have patients able to book online.
Nachteile:
The booking features could be improved. Booksy had limited capabilities when it came to booking families for appointments at our office. We ran into issues with booking children especially. We were required to input an email address for each patient but couldn’t reuse an email for multiple patients, making it very difficult for the patients without email.

Kommentare: Customer service was horrible. Have waisted many hours of my time. Can not provide information needed and have me ping pong around. Can not provide information I need for a payment not process

After 2 years of paid subscriptions I felt abused by customer service and belittled they rushed me off and told me someone would call from upper management to resolve my problem but they never did 😔😔😔I’m very disappointed that they were not able to amicably resolved my very simple accounting 🧾 issue.

Booksy is the best alternative to keep apoitments running
Kommentare: It has been okay, It has simplified my life and appointments, it is a way to keep the bills organized and the best options on hand

It is easy to use and customize, there's no way to can't mistake information and lost your appointment. The confirmation gives you that certainty and the reminders are always organized on your calendars

It is a bit repetitive, and sometimes it's confusing where to book or check a business since you have so many options and ways to access their information

Poor update
Vorteile:
Customers can book online without having to call and stop us in work. The app seems to work great for customers
Nachteile:
The update. The fact it sometimes double books appointments. There is no colour difference with appointments so hard to figure out who's coming when under each person. The app doesn't seem to like any iPhone, iPad systems.
