Smooth operation!

Vorteile:

Intergration is a quick process with great customer support.

Nachteile:

I had to use the help desk for sick/vacation/PTO. Most parts of Patriot Software are intuitive, and you can explore till you find them, except a PTO adjustment.

6 month review

Kommentare: The big thing for me is real live US representatives. Patriot Accounting is top notch with that. The interface is also pretty simple and I feel confident that if I run into any issues (usually my fault) their live representatives will help me!

Vorteile:

U.S. Based. Private company, US based support with very clear English. Amazing live support so I learn that way. I can afford it and I feel I get a very high quality service.

Nachteile:

Some items won’t transfer from my American Express statement and it is a bit confusing how to add/remove items. Journal is a bit confusing. But the live help is amazing and I learn more each time I call.

Patriot Accounting sofware

Kommentare: Thankfully I write less than 10 checks per month. Patriot double counts each one so it's a constant chore to keep my bank statement and Patriot to balance.

Vorteile:

This is a very robust accounting solution.

Nachteile:

I wish I had paid more attention in college accounting. Unfortunately, ease of use is not a primary strength.

Easy to use!

They have live support and it’s really easy to use

Nachteile:

A little conjusted. Too much in one place. Can be more user friednly

Great software at a great price!

Kommentare: I love Patriot software. The price is amazing for all that you get with this software. I have had smooth sailing ever since I changed to Patriot.

Vorteile:

I am a control freak, so I like to do simple debit and credit accounting so that I can control everything going into my books. Patriot is easy to use and doesn't have all the what I call "noise" that other accounting softwares have. Some programs have so much fluff added to them but all I want are the basics and Patriot gives me that. This makes it easy to use.

Nachteile:

There are a few things in invoicing and bill pay that I might change but they are minimal. Other than that I have no issues with this software.

Owner/President

Kommentare: I found the software to be very easy to use from the start. I feel it is much better than the QuickBooks software I used previously. I also found the customer service people to be very helpful and the fact that they are Americans makes it easier on me (my hearing is not as good as it once was).

Vorteile:

Ease of set up, ease of use, and when customer service is needed, they are always easy to understand and have been amazing.

Nachteile:

The problem with the emailing an invoice only from a Google browser. That is a minor inconvenience, but really the only inconvenience I have found so far with the software.

Easy to use, great US customer support, excellent pricing.

Kommentare: Very satisfied. I just love the cost, ease of use and bank syncing feature.

Vorteile:

Bank syncing is my favorite feature followed by US customer support personnel and price

Nachteile:

It did take a bit of forms and time to set up, but once you get through the regulatory requirements, it was very easy.

Harder to function in the program

Kommentare: I am not an accountant and I am not very techy so when I request help I was told multiple times that they can't help with that that I needed to talk to an accountant. Some I thought would be simply questions for someone that was in a tech support position.

Vorteile:

I was really not impressed with anything about the program

Nachteile:

I do not like how the payroll software interacts with the banking reconciliation. It took me forever to align the checks for printing, finally figured out that the payroll checks aligned differently than the accounting checks

Customer Satisfaction

Kommentare: You get what you pay for when choosing an inferior cost point.

Vorteile:

They pick up the line when calling in to Customer Support.

Nachteile:

Accessing the training videos is a hassle on top of a hassle. It was not a simplified process. [sensitive content hidden] explained that you need to select "Help Info" at the top of your screen, then type in whatever it is you are searching for. When initially performing a specific search under "Help Info", this would bring up articles rather than training videos. In this regard, the site is not user friendly. Additionally, in speaking with Customer Support over time I became aware there is a lack of clarity and individual support. The default response to a majority of my calls made for specific support in using the product was "I do not have an answer for you; go to our website and perform a search under "Help Info" or play around with it; you're smart." Customers do not always have time to do so and receiving a rote response when calling for "support" is not helpful in any case. Patriot Software Staff must be trained specifically for this reason.

Accounting with patriot

Kommentare: I have had one experience and that concerned L&I in WA. As far as I know, no other taxes are taken

Vorteile:

Nothing as it doesn’t seem to be working with me and taxes

Nachteile:

It’s not applicable even though I asked multiple times when I signed up

Patriot is Great Value for the money.

Kommentare: It has been a great experience using this software compared to other high dollar programs.

Vorteile:

Once the software was figured out it was easy to maneuver around the program and get where you want to be. Very user friendly and a great value.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the plaid link to the bank accounts can glitch and then you have to re link it.

Patriot does great accounting.

This software has been helping our company do great with our accounting tasks. The entire accounting team loves how easily and efficiently it helps to get the work done.

Nachteile:

So far, we are happy with it in general.

Just implemented, switching from Quickbooks, getting used to software seems easy

Nachteile:

Setting up the beginning ledger is a bit frustrating. Cannot seem to get accounts to balance. Will end up having to refer to our accountant to make adjustments.

Review needs and not just costs

Vorteile:

There is no guessing. The portal will ask pointed questions to properly distribute costs and income appropriately.

Nachteile:

Compared to what we had from other online service (QuickBooks) they ask a ton of questions, not only for current, but from previous entries. It was certainly an adjustment, although the results should be much better for all affected parties.

Easy to use and responsive customer service

Kommentare: I do not use Patriot Accounting

Vorteile:

This software is easy to set up and even easier to use. I work for a small firm with only a couple of employees. Our payroll needs are fairly simple and Patriot is intuitive and has robust information available when needed.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I dislike about Patriot. I guess it would be nice if there was a mobile app that allowed me to run payroll remotely from my desktop.

Amazing Customer Service

Kommentare: Overall I would give it a 4.5 on a scale of 1-5.. US based, professional yet relatable. And much less expensive than some other popular brands that I won’t name.

Vorteile:

The customer service is absolutely amazing. I’m definitely NOT a numbers or bookkeeping person, & I was skeptical about being able to use any accounting software, but even in some areas where I had a mess they worked with me to not only resolve but to understand the situation. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am.

Nachteile:

I would love payment options of credit card or checking account

Exactly what I needed

Kommentare: I like that I can call and talk with a human and they walk me through tasks or confirmed that I had completed the task correctly.

Vorteile:

I liked the price. We are a small company and I didn't want to pay crazy amounts for something that I had been doing on an excel spreadsheet for free but as we were growing I knew I needed something a bit more stream lined and Patriots was what we needed. I love that I can invoice and the customer can pay online and now with ACH payments my % of fees is lower.

Nachteile:

Accounting is backwards so it took me a moment to figure out how to input journal entries but customer service helped me with that task. That's more of a me thing and a compliment to you.

Great for small Non-profit

Kommentare: We reviewed Manny non-profit accounting packages. Patriot provided the best value for the number of users that our organization required. If does not include fund raising and tracking of gifts, which are not a requirement for our organization.

Vorteile:

Easy to setup. When I had accounting questions the customer support was friendly and answered my questions.

Nachteile:

Timing of credit card payments marked as paid in Patriot but funds not received for several days from Stripe. Not really an issue after you understand the process and how to reconcile the bank statements.

Excellent Service

Kommentare: I really enjoy the ease of the software and saves alot of my time.

Vorteile:

Everything is user friendly, the help line is awesome!

Nachteile:

I am in Hawaii so the help hours are somewhat limited

Powerful

Kommentare: My overall experience is good because I didn't encounter any major issues. And even if I had, it's always resolved ASAP.

Vorteile:

I can do a lot of things with this software and not just simply payroll itself. It is also very easy to use. I can use the free expert support wherein the chat support aren't robots. I call, chat and email them and they really solve problems. It's mobile friendly too. It doesn't take up too much space on my phone. The design gives me access to my account anywhere and there is no hassle in downloading and updating. These are the things I like most based on experience and it's overall helpful to me.

Nachteile:

What I like least about this software is the optional 1099 e-filing because it has nominal fees. It's nice to have this feature though and it's good because it's optional. I'm just sharing that it's my least favorite feature. This feature is digital and I can file forms with it in just a few clicks.

I would like to be able to have my customers pay online. The company that did it for Patriot, was hard to deal with. That was a few months ago.

Pros: simplicity of use, high value with investment, ability to troubleshoot with a real person with limited Wait time!!

Nachteile:

Cons: For any small business, to me, it far surpasses the market space for ease of use, customer service, and integration.

Best in Class!

Kommentare: Exceedingly positive. I can't say enough about the professionalism and personal service provided by Patriot's team. I am not an accountant, or bookkeeper, or tax consultant...and I don't want to be. Patriot's team gets that, and they treat us with respect and courtesy.

Vorteile:

How much time do you have? I've used all of the major competitors in the field at some time or another. Patriot shares our values and beliefs, as evidenced in every interaction with them. The value for what they provide is unparalleled...not even close. Patriot has been completely transparent and there are no hidden fees or mysteries in function or cost. Patriot Software delivers what they promise and is always great to work with by phone or video conference. We feel like we are valued by them, and that is a plus for a small but growing business.

Nachteile:

My only suggestion is, as always, integrations. I know "that other company" has been around a long time and exercises leverage on the industry. Patriot provides value and performs in a trustworthy and honest manner - we can wait for the integrations and grow with them.

Ehh..

Kommentare: I am not a fan. Since I started using patriot prices increased for me twice. And services have not changed.

Vorteile:

It works great for what I have had the ability to use it for. However it’s very expensive considering for the last year o am only able to is it for onvoice tracking.

Nachteile:

It works as should but software won’t link to my account so I am not able to use it for anything more then invoicing.
