Vorteile:

Intergration is a quick process with great customer support.

Nachteile:

I had to use the help desk for sick/vacation/PTO. Most parts of Patriot Software are intuitive, and you can explore till you find them, except a PTO adjustment.

Leave Quickbooks and never look back

Kommentare: The Onboarding team for new customers is the highest level of customer support I have every experienced. As an owner and administrator I have implemented dozens of software platforms over the past 25 years. This is the best customer support I have ever found.

Vorteile:

Customer support by [sensitive content hidden] are the best.

Nachteile:

I like everything about Patriot compared to Quickbooks

Honesty

Kommentare: Patriot software is great for a small business tho it is a little clunky its workable.

Vorteile:

Recording payments is very easy tho at times I forget to hit the save button. Also the payroll is very easy and smooth to use.

Nachteile:

Cant partial pay a invoice (like sending a deposit) very annoying. The whole invoice part is very clunky not smooth at all. Same with seeing Bills from vendors. Also on invoicing It would be nice to be able to have spaces in the reference (we use addresses and codes). It helps our customers see what address we billed for. I wish you could also on the invoice have the comments above the billing portion. Overall a little bit of letting us change the format of some of the built in forms would be nice

Customer Service Is Outstanding

Kommentare: My experience has been great and the transition from the accouting software I had used before was much easier than I expected. Being in the advertising industry myself for more than 50 years, I always measure a company by how well they live up to their claims and slogans. Patriot Software certainly lives up to its tagline, "keep your time and money." But what stands out to me even more is the outstanding customer service demonstrated by every member of your staff with whom I've had communication. Sadly, in today's market place this type of customer service seems to be rare. Because of your great customer service, I would go as far as to call Patriot Software "the Chick-Fil-A of accoutning and payroll software."

Vorteile:

In switching from another accounting software program to Patriot Software, naturally there was a learning curve involved to get familiar with Patriot. Several calls to customer service were answered or returned right away, and the staff was always helpful, patient, and totally professional. My only regret is that I did not make the switch to Patriot Software even sooner, just for the outstanding customer service.

Nachteile:

At first the "extra step" of printing checks - downloading the form as a pdf file - was a little hard to get used to. But now that I understand the process better, and can see that this could be an important security feature, it's not really an issue.

Amazing Product

Kommentare: Patriot Software is absolutely amazing. It is a super easy format and set up. Very easy & simple to navigate and learn. You can not find an invoice & accounting product that does this much for this price point. I only wish I knew about it sooner. I was paying over $130 per month for just invoiced our customers. This software is a hidden Jem. I tell everyone I know about it!!

Vorteile:

Super easy format to navigate and understand. I had no issues with my customers when I switched softwares. The price is amazing compared to what I was using. My monthly subscription price was consistently going up. I live the fixed pricing.

Nachteile:

I have Zero cons with Patriot Software so far.

Patriot is Great Value for the money.

Kommentare: It has been a great experience using this software compared to other high dollar programs.

Vorteile:

Once the software was figured out it was easy to maneuver around the program and get where you want to be. Very user friendly and a great value.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the plaid link to the bank accounts can glitch and then you have to re link it.

Patriot does great accounting.

Left Quickbooks for Patriot

Kommentare: so far so good!! I am very new to it. Did a 30 day trial in Dec and started for real in January.

Vorteile:

The automatic downloads of my bank transactions and the functionality of that whole feature is great!So far it seems very easy to do payroll

Nachteile:

I wish the general ledger had a feature to make the most recent transaction show up at the top automatically. I always have to click the arrow to switch the view...a very little thing, but I'd love it if there was a setting to choose that view.

Couldn’t make this function

The hope I had before I tried it was the best part for me.

Takes care of all of our Small Business Needs

Vorteile:

Ease of use. Multiple reports. A must have for our business!!

Nachteile:

Usually need to convert reports to other formats for my auditors or tax professionals. But is no biggie.

It plugs into daily business

Kommentare: We need to be up to the minute aware of what our financial status is, with a streamlined way to invoice our customers, and a responsible way to document all activity.

Vorteile:

Patriot Software Accounting offers all of the reporting we need for daily and monthly tasks. It is very clear how the charts of accounts integrate into the structure of our company.

Nachteile:

It would make a lot more tactile sense to make the daily accounting work from a register type of interface. Using a General Ledger, then notating credits and debit columns, is a slower and less intuitive way to perform transactions than a single entry, customizable register would be. A register-based interface option would provide a far greater sense of user control and confidence.

Fair value for benefits and peace of mind

Kommentare: Patriot has helped with organizing and tracking how much an account has received or spent for a year total. If there is any issues customer support has been friendly and supportive in helping resolve the issue quickly.

Vorteile:

Pay roll tax filing eases worries and makes business functionality easier The availability of having a support staff to call with questions is amazing.

Nachteile:

Adjusting the bank totals to match the starting values. When printing checks you are unable to add things in the memo line.

Best payroll and invoicing software!

Everything in one place and I had no idea what I was doing. Patriot made it easy.

Nachteile:

I wish the reporting feature had more export to excel functions for filing my commercial liability, NC101 ESC form and employee wages for Child support reports as well as other government support employees need info supplied by employers. When I run a report for a customer it would be nice to be able to save that or export. I would love to customize and save the customization of emails mailed within Patriot invoicing.

Great until issues

Kommentare: Overall my experience was good, only left due to a bank connectivity issue they didn't know how to solve and they're delay in getting to my ticket.

Vorteile:

Super intuitive functions, great customer support

Nachteile:

When I had an issue that customer service couldn't immediately resolve they took weeks kicking the can down the rd and ultimately never got my issue resolved before I gave up and switch softwears

Patriot Accounting is a Great Solutions for Accounting and Payroll

Kommentare: Very Good and I am hoping that I can find a way to use the product for my other companies.

Vorteile:

Ability to work from Home, Office, or anywhere else is a huge plus.

Nachteile:

The Date field is the only thing that I deal with every day. It should default to the current day.

The Best QB Replacement

Kommentare: So far, I'm finding everything I need and all is going well. I'm very happy.

Vorteile:

It is well worth it the switch from QB! It's very affordable and stable. Patriot Accounting has all the features I need and features my CPA uses for me. I'm so much happier with my bookkeeping since switching.

Nachteile:

It's a few more steps, but that's fine. It is similar to what QB was like before they went online.

Best in Class!

Kommentare: Exceedingly positive. I can't say enough about the professionalism and personal service provided by Patriot's team. I am not an accountant, or bookkeeper, or tax consultant...and I don't want to be. Patriot's team gets that, and they treat us with respect and courtesy.

Vorteile:

How much time do you have? I've used all of the major competitors in the field at some time or another. Patriot shares our values and beliefs, as evidenced in every interaction with them. The value for what they provide is unparalleled...not even close. Patriot has been completely transparent and there are no hidden fees or mysteries in function or cost. Patriot Software delivers what they promise and is always great to work with by phone or video conference. We feel like we are valued by them, and that is a plus for a small but growing business.

Nachteile:

My only suggestion is, as always, integrations. I know "that other company" has been around a long time and exercises leverage on the industry. Patriot provides value and performs in a trustworthy and honest manner - we can wait for the integrations and grow with them.

I would like to be able to have my customers pay online. The company that did it for Patriot, was hard to deal with. That was a few months ago.

It is a user-friendly cloud-based accounting system for small business owners and accountants.

Kommentare: What I liked about it that it was quick and easy to use. The software did all the accounting jobs such as bill pay, paid contractors and vendors accurately, tracked the payments, and generated reports. It is great that it is available in the form of application.

Vorteile:

This software is very easy to use. It allows to track customer invoices, pay bills, print forms and pay vendors. It also integrates with other Patriot products, such as Patriot payroll. One of the awesome features allows users to create default prices for products and services and specify the sales tax rate. In addition there is also a view of unpaid invoices and record payments from customers. In the report section users can track account balances, view balance sheets, profit and loss statements, vendor payments and more. This system is available in the form of application as well which is great, you can access your data from anywhere anytime.

Nachteile:

I experience some problems at the beginning with setting up the system, however, there are videos available for trouble shooting that are very useful and the customer service is very effective and responsive.

Patriot is low-cost, efficient accounting software

Kommentare: I love Patriot. It's a simple accounting platform perfect for small businesses with low needs and needing a low budget solution. If they could simplify the double-entry process, or do some of that work automatically, it would be a great option for small business owners.

Vorteile:

Patriot's website was well designed and easy to navigate. It has a stylized but modern look, which I enjoyed. Menus and actions were easy to find, and the price was great. For my small service business I just needed invoices and transaction tracking, and Patriot provides those at a low price, with upgrades if needed.

Nachteile:

Since I'm not an accountant, I don't understand double-entry accounting. When it came time to enter transactions, I got lost in the journal and debit/credit entries. I was really excited to use Patriot instead of the spendy Quickbooks, but the double-entry accounting method was a giant roadblock for me that I couldn't get around.

My Review of Patriot Accounting

Kommentare: Overall my experience has been acceptable. Some features are very easy to work with while others seem to be more difficult, like keeping a running balance for the checking account where it is easy to see.

Vorteile:

I really like the ease of the accounts reconciliation feature and the invoicing feature as well. Invoicing helps me to be sure I know whom I have collected from and what I am still owed.

Nachteile:

I do not like that when using the withdrawal/deposit feature that there is no way to tell what my bank balance is without going to reports. Very inconvenient.

BEFORE I WAS PAYING AN ACCOUNTANT ALOT PER MONTH NOW I'M PAYING UNDER SOME AMOUNT PER MONTH. VERY AFFORDABLE! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BEST I'VE SEEN OF ANY OTHER PROGRAMS I USE FOR MY BUSINESS. EASE OF USE, IT TOOK ME VERY LITTLE TIME TO LEARN THIS PROGRAM. IF IT DID HAS A QUESTION I RECEIVED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE HELP VIA PHONE, WITH VERY LITTLE WAITING TIME. LOVE THIS PROGRAM AND RECOMMEND TO TO ANY SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS!

Nachteile:

HAD TROUBLE WITH ACCEPTING MY CARD FOR DIRECT PAYMENTS. OTHER THAN THAT I HAVE NO CONS WITH THIS PROGRAM.

Patriot Accounting Use Review

Kommentare: Serves most needs. Maybe I am not schooled enough on all options.

Vorteile:

Simple if you do not need detailed invoicing.

Nachteile:

Navigating is horrible if you need to go back and forth between modules or would like to "continue to browse" in a module. It always wants to restart.
