My account was suspended due to an expired credit card. When I tried to log in to update my billing and proactively downgrade my subscription from their expensive tier to a $410/year plan, the system locked me out and refused to let me change plans without first clearing the balance of the old, higher rate. I spoke with three separate levels of customer service supervisors, and they all told me the exact same unacceptable policy: the only way to reactivate my account was to pay the full $1,242 renewal, and then wait around for a refund of the difference. Essentially, they are holding small business accounts hostage, forcing customers to float them over $800 in unwanted funds just to fix a payment method and change a plan. Forcing a customer to pay for a tier they explicitly stated they do not want, under the promise of a future refund, is terrible business practice and a complete lack of customer support flexibility.
