Great product fro expense and time tracking, and way more

Vorteile:

I have been using BQE Software for almost 4 years now. I have been reguarly logging hours and expenses as part of my daily work. I really love the app version in which I can snap a picture on the go from my receipt and toss the receipt away immediatelly. It has saved me tons of time of collecting receipts and then balancing my credit card account. Tracking billable hours is also pretty easy and there are couple of options to do so for each personality from using project timers that you can play and pause to straight old-fashined type of plug-in. Overall, I am very happy of this software.

Nachteile:

I like all features I have to use for my work.

This product delivers...if you want it, it can be done.

Kommentare: the exec. appreciates the overall business analysis that can be obtained, time keeping is given back to the body of the staff and not the admin. staff, and can be seen and impacted live. project management is a complete task, not just partial tasks here and some in another area. Generally positive...difficult at first because change is hard, but once the benefits are realized, embraced ultimately.

Vorteile:

once full integration is close, one can really see how the product can fully encompass all aspects. full analysis can be achieved if all data is inputted, but only then. if pieces are missing, so is the entire impact. time keeping can be accurate for all the employees...same story, expenses can be fully analyzed, project costing can be fully analyzed...but one must enter all of the data. it replaces most existing processes so it's difficult for some to "move on" so as not to duplicate. there are some glitches, but there usually is.

Nachteile:

there might be too many features...not all businesses have them and while some recognize it, some will try to fill in all the blanks and this can be time wasteful. while there is a lot of "help", "dumbing it down" is never a bad thing. why not make it easy to understand? not everyone is an engineer...admins use it as well so keep it easy to understand for all. this gets more important the bigger the company gets...will support more administrative positions, so use the "kiss" principle-keep it simple st***d. admins will get these tasks delegated to them ultimately so make it easier to understand no matter the degree/education

Having project, time management, & billing in one domain is efficient. Generally tech support is excellent!

Nachteile:

All Entries are easy to maintain and quick.

It is very easy to categorised all the expenses

Kommentare: I would definitely recommend Core to others. You have to learn the product first but once you do, it's very helpful.

Vorteile:

The reports we are able to run are extremely useful to us. You can see how each project is doing super easily.

Nachteile:

At first it was a little hard to use but only because we were used to another program. Now that we use it every day, it's become very helpful.

BQE Core met our needs.

Kommentare: BQE Core was easy to transition to with very little complications. It's features are very flexible and work. I learn more about it's capabilities every week.

Vorteile:

BQE Core is very flexible in how you can allow employees to track their time and decide if it is billable or not.

Nachteile:

It has many features that we do not use but I can see how other companies would appreciate the additional functions.

Kommentare: I use this as a resource allocation tool to manage my specific project within the company I work for. I allocate resource by hour and within a specific budget per resource hourly rate.

Vorteile:

So far I have enjoyed the modifiable nature.

Nachteile:

I am struggling to view or change forecast dollars and hours in the same window without having to refresh the page to switch from one to the other. It would be nice to have them together on the same page and update live.

Great Tool for Time Tracking!

Kommentare: Overall has been a very positive experience using BQE CORE Suite. It allows for clear communication between myself and my team leadership, so there is no question about where my time is going and how long a task took to complete.

Vorteile:

It breaks down each of my projects clearly and I can directly see where all of my time is going! It offers a lot of control.

Nachteile:

It did not feel very user-friendly initially, but I caught on after some questions asked to my coworkers!

Kommentare: Overall, it was an amazing experience using BQE core suite. I can recommend it to my friends and relatives who is looking for a good software aside from it is very fast. It is very reliable. You can count on this app.

Vorteile:

I like how fast the software is. It is very user-friendly. Also, it is easy to use and how I was able to do my task on time. I was early sometimes rather than my deadline because of BQE core suite. I love how accommodating it is for us who is in the business industry. It is also very cheap in price very budget friendly.

Nachteile:

I think if you can improve to the mobile app that will be better but overall it was really a good app and I hope to use it in the future and more also kindly upgrade the app for any possible bugs. you must try it now, so you also experience how amazing it is.

Effective Time & Expense Mgmt.

Vorteile:

Ability to address different bill rates across account base and properly generate invoices and cost accounting. Very good Customer Service. Simple to understand when onboarding new users.

Nachteile:

Can experience an occasional performance issue...usually short in duration

Kommentare: Overall, it's been good to work with BQE, it's a great app.

Vorteile:

Using BQE is very simple, additionally, time can be entered day by day and you are sent reminders when you have not entered time in the projects.

Nachteile:

They could improve the way the user sees the screen, it could be a little more didactic.

I am an employee that uses this app to submit hours to invoice billing for our customers. It is easy to input hours, expenses and review history of past projects via app and website

Nachteile:

Initially the app was difficult to modify hours and such. I have been using the app for 2 years and they have improved the app a great deal!

BQE CORE - Must have

Vorteile:

Tracking time & expenses has never been easier. The interface is very easy to use and provides great historical data of your time tracking that differentiates between billable and non billable hours. Having never used the software before, it has been very easy to familiarize myself with it and use on a daily basis.

Nachteile:

Whenever I go to save a line entry for hours, it defaults as non-billable even if I click the billable box. This causes me to have to click billable after i save each entry.

Easy & Efficient!

Vorteile:

The functions on BWQ CORE Suite are very user-friendly & easy to navigate. I am able to track my time that I spend on each project very easily, which in turn helps me prioritize my tasks for the upcoming weeks.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the program will run a bit slower than others that I use on my computer, but that could very well be related to the amount of information under one's profile rather than being a quality issue.

The updated Core is great!

Kommentare: Core has taken the headache out of entering time sheets daily/weekly and with selecting any of the new updated projects that I am currently working. Some things that would take 30 minutes no takes 5 minutes.
I am always up to date with my most current vacation hours and PTO's. It also makes booking time and vacation simple and efficient.
I recently had expenses that I needed to claim and that took 5 minutes vs unnecessary emailing random people, messaging for updated information. Its seemly and efficient. The updated Core is great!

Its seemly efficient and seemly to use.

Nachteile:

It take s a bit to figure out where the vacation PTO request page is.

Kommentare: My experience has been well, except for what I shared in the cons.

Vorteile:

It is easy to navigate through the program and look for help if needed.

Nachteile:

One thing that has grabbed my attention is that you are not able to take off hours that you have put down. Instead it is forced to have a minimum of 1 hour. I know I should have not done this, but I logged in a couple of hours before hand and was not able to go into the office that day. So when I tried to take them off it would not work, I instead took off a couple of hours from the days I did work.

BQE Features and advantages

Vorteile:

Customer service team is very responsive and quick to assist on any requests.

Nachteile:

Some times the interface gets confusing with so many options to explore

Kommentare: We've had our hiccups from the start when we decided to migrate from Billquick. The communication has been severely lacking from the start. Several data issues which have still be unresolved, and functionality that varied from BillQuick that we've had to adapt to, even though we were assured that everything that was in BillQuick would be part of CORE. The most significant issue we have though is response time and communication when there is a reported issue or problem. Customer service is readily available to address a new issue, but the resolution is poor.

Vorteile:

Cloud-based, project performance data, reporting options.

Nachteile:

We migrated from BQE's Billquick software. There were elements of the migration that went well, and some that did not. It's been over 6 months since migration and I'm still waiting on data issues to be repaired and issues to be resolved.

Easy to use. I used other options at other firms but this is useful for beginners.

I could not find any cons. I am really satisfied of this website.
