Great tool to help get things DONE!

Vorteile:

-What makes Kanbanchi so great is how easy to use. -Works perfectly with google platforms, gmail, google drive, etc... -Ability to chat and upload files on the same board or task.

Nachteile:

Limited options and features such as: -Time frame for each board if we can have more on it to customized. -Email notification title should be showing on which board it is related to, something easier to read that you don't need to open the email to check which board is it related to. -Problems when assign boards from gmail directly, when add-ons activated

Great for Google Workspace users (fully integrated), price a bit higher than others

Kommentare: Overall is good. There were some technical issues sometimes (permissions, mobile view, etc.). But the customer support is very responsive and we were able to resolve everything pretty easily (for example to change a setting from desktop instead of mobile, or remove + re-add a user to fix a permissions bug).

Vorteile:

Even though there were a few other solutions that had all of the same core functionalities (like Trello), we like how Kanbanchi is built for Google Workspace / ChromeOS (we use a lot of Chromebook and mobile devices). Other apps could piece together all of the features (plugins, marketplace apps, mobile app, etc.). But since we rely heavily on Google Workspace for everything else, we like how Kanbanchi is built specifically for that. We did not want to worry that some integration app or setting would cause an issue in the future and then the whole workflow breaks. So even though we don't need all of the features and other options exist, we like that it just feels like part of our Google Workspace suite.

Nachteile:

The pricing is a bit high compared to others. We don't need the cheapest solution. But Kanbanchi is marketed as "the missing link" of the Google Workspace suite of apps (true--that is the one thing that is missing). But the Kanbanchi basic paid annual plan (20% off of the monthly) is still more expensive per user than the Google Workspace mid-level plan (billed monthly) per user. It's not the end of the world, but as a result we only have one very small, specific team using Kanbanchi. If it was priced similar to some of the less expensive ones for the starter tools, we might just buy it for more people on the team and also for contractors and partners we work with.

Miles away from the competition

Kommentare: Unpleasant, buggy and not really enjoyable

Vorteile:

The tools is pretty straightforward to use and works more or less like every other Kanban type tool. The tools work mostly fine.

Nachteile:

It doesn't feel stable, on multiple occasions I had to rewrite and entire comment because I clicked away from the card or even in the card itself. Design-wise it's a bit confuse and has way to many options on the first level of selection. The cards formatting shouldn't be enabled on click as this usually interferes with the attempt to click on links

Kanbanchi: Streamlining Management in Our Education Company

Kommentare: Our experience with Kanbanchi has been largely positive, as it has improved the organization and professionalism of our education company. We also really enjoy the integration with Google Workspace. To make it even better, the platform would benefit from a more user-friendly interface for those who find the vast range of functionalities overwhelming.

Vorteile:

Kanbanchi has significantly professionalized our business by providing an accessible overview of large projects, streamlining meeting structures for managers, and creating a centralized location for action points and important files (we really enjoy the google workspace integration!!). Its wide range of functionalities, including filtering, color-coding, subtasks, and due dates for subtasks, has enhanced our ability to manage tasks effectively. You can fully customize the tool to your own preferences, which allowed us to use it in various (unexpected) ways.

Nachteile:

While the variety of features can be advantageous, it can also be overwhelming for some employees. A 'simple view' option would be a welcome addition, making it easier for users to navigate the platform without feeling overwhelmed by the numerous functions.

Very Functional with Google G Suite

Kommentare: I work for a nonprofit and you manage many responsibilities. This has helped me organize my projects with ease. I manage projects from advertising, public relations, social media content, video development, market analysis. The learning curve is small. It is really a user driving experience and the customer service is... They get back to you with solutions! I am very pleased

Vorteile:

Integrated into G Suites with no problems Integration with G Mail, easy to assign a task to the Kanbanchi board Calendar integration, I did not have to use a third party and or pay for an expensive platform such as Smart Sheet. I can see my projects on Google Calendar Attaching files is very simple. Easy navigation and can change views to look at project status. I can See my Kanbanchi Board on My Google Drive! I then selected the Kanbanchi board so it appears in my Google Workspace

Nachteile:

At this stage, I currently do not have a like least. I need more time to work with it.

Gantt Chart for the Win

Kommentare: I am not a native tech user but the ability to interact with our information in a visual way has been really helpful. Their customer service is extra ordinary, especially for the tech challenged amongst us.

Vorteile:

The ordering of the information in a visible, modular way is a gods’send for the neurodiverse.

Nachteile:

I’m not sure what is involved with developing for iOS specific apps for use on iPhones, iPads and Apple Watch but imagine it must be too much trouble for the moment. More native iOS integration would be helpful but not a deal breaker as you can use it in browser based way. That being said. considering the imperfect integration (from a user point of view) of native iOS apps with themselves over varied Appple devices, maybe they are better steering clear!

For the price is good. I hope still under improvement.

Kommentare: It has been ok.. hasn't been very practical to import my tickets, I waste a lot of time creating or editing one by one at the beginning of every sprint. If wasn't for that, this would be perfect.Thank you for your hard work.

Vorteile:

Easy to use daily, very good visually, makes things easier to visualize. Also the other admin tools, like Gants, burn down, tasklist and swimlanes. I like them all.

Nachteile:

The way to import tickets from csv is a nightmare! It is not easy, it is not practical, is not complete. I still have to manually change things one by one, because I could never import the estimation or the tags. I can't import either personalized fields, or use my template card for importation. I really hope they improve this very important functionality.

Good overall

Kommentare: Overall it was good & the platform covers our need so far & it's a bit more expensive than other platforms

Vorteile:

It offers what we need in terms of project management, task management & tracking and it is compatible & integrated with G suite

Nachteile:

Not sure, maybe the time tracking for tasks, but that is to be tested again.Also it's a bit more expensive than other platforms

Very user friendly and preferred over Jira

Kommentare: Very positive. All departments have adopted.

Vorteile:

It's very Google-like and that made it easier for my team to adopt. Tried using Jira before and my team struggled with it so adoption was low. We're not a tech company and this suited us much better.

Nachteile:

Adding users and licenses is not intuitive at all. I would like to see resolution types added to completed tasks. I would like to see this company add a product like Confluence to their range of products.

High School Innovation Center Project Management

Kommentare: It's been great... The limited functionality of the School Version is sometimes noticed but we manage to use it in our daily workflow quite well and are grateful to everyone at Kanbanchi for creating such a great software.

Vorteile:

Kanbanchi is very easy to deploy across the Google Apps Suite and get my students on-board quickly. They are already using Google Apps in their daily schoolwork do It was a painless onboarding process. It also has a easy to learn and use interface. My students were off a running in one class period. It is a great way to keep everyone on the same page and up to date on projects.

Nachteile:

Trying to convince my school administrators to pay for a ongoing license fee is not the easiest conversation to have. I would like to have a one time purchase price available.

Key tool for online & on site projects

Kommentare: my project started with strong planning, a time line with a clear status overview & detailed at any time, we can anticipate to challenges with reports & indicators from any project.

Vorteile:

Gantt, Kan ban cards , list task mode are so simple to implement, intuitive tool, my team meetings are easy going with Kanbanchi boards and reports.

Nachteile:

i'm still not discover how to linked with my google drive carpets

Kanbanchi - all in one tool for project management

Kommentare: A good project management tool, especially if a person is using agile methods. Somewhat uneasy with managing monumental projects.

Vorteile:

Very easy defining of resources; straightforward overviews, immaculate support.

Nachteile:

Complex integration with other suites like Google Workspace or Office 365

Our Bread and Butter for Staff Retention

Kommentare: Kanbanchi provided us with a simple platform to track staffing for a unit of 191 staff, team by team. We were able to track issues such as active or inactive statuses, Within those status groups, timelines in which they were scheduled to return to work, FML and COVID related leave outcomes as well as attrition and retention

Vorteile:

The interface provides a quick and easily customizable platform for use in evaluating multiple metrics and processes at the click of a mouse!

Nachteile:

Based on the past several updates, I would have to say they have both listened to and facilitated many of the changes we had recommended to their CS team .... (Easier movement of boards, attachment and photo uploads, time stamping to track when milestones or timelines have been met, etc.)

Teacher Perspective

Kommentare: Overall, Kanbanchi has been very useful for my students in planning and executing their projects.

Vorteile:

As a computer science teacher, I help my students learn to manage a project through the use of Kanbanchi. Students list the features that they need or want to add to a program and then plan how and when it will be done. They utilize the priority settings to target what is most important, collaborate and assign tasks in their group, use check off lists, store their assets and version control. Students report that they feel that they feel more in control and less overwhelmed when they use this product.

Nachteile:

As a "free for education" I don't have access to the Gantt charts and having sub cards which I would really like to be able to utilize with my students.

Can't do without this program!

Kommentare: My experience has been fantastic. I've used it for several different jobs and Kanbachi has made it possible to stay on top of EVERYTHING, including helping me schedule necessary follow up tasks after primary tasks have been completed. I could not do my job without this program.

Vorteile:

The Kanbanchi Board is the only way I stay on top of the many tasks I need to do, both in this job and previous jobs! It enables me to plan my day, my week, and even the entire year, and keep my task list organized and make sure I'm on top of everything. I use it to plan out all of my weekly and monthly tasks for the year and it keeps me from forgetting anything! Being able to check off each item as I go really keeps me motivated and on track.

Nachteile:

There are no cons to this software for me, other than sometimes it bugs me about linking it to my google account, which I don't want to do. When that happens, it can then be tricky to bypass the prompt and get to my board.

Great customer support

Kommentare: The platform is still being developed, but the team are friendly, reply quickly, and have clear simple to follow instructions for non tech heads like me.

Vorteile:

I am new to Kanbanch and had a number of questions before purchasing. The team answered my emails promptly, heard my requests and actioned developments in some of those areas that have already been released. I am really impressed with the team and their apparent commitment to continuing to develop the platform.

Nachteile:

I'm looking forward to the release of the kanbanchi app, but can work around that by saving a link to my phone's home screen for now. The program is a little slow to open, only a couple of seconds, but longer than many others.

Small Business Collaboration Tracking

Vorteile:

The organization of the product can be easily understood by everyone at my organization. The movement of cards is fairly easy to understand and the tools are easy to set up and utilize.

Nachteile:

The access given at different areas of user authorization could be improved. For instance, users with commentator access do not have the ability to click on links posted in the body of the card which hinders our ability to work efficiently. You should be able to click on links without the ability to edit card text. I would also love a way to subscribe to a card to get notifications on its whereabouts and progress.

Kanban Assessment

Kommentare: After learning the program, it is extremely useful and helpful with organization. still a bit cluttered, but very efficient and customizable

Vorteile:

I like that all projects can be viewed at various stages, with levels of priority, and the ability to customize each, such as with checklists and notes. It's useful for teams of people working throughout the software.

Nachteile:

There is a learning curve, and projects can become confusing when multiple components in each have difficulty being broken down. the search tool can be a bit tricky sometimes, and perhaps more tiers of access could be useful

Turned me into a hero

Kommentare: Kanbanchi changed my life. That is a bold statement to make about an app, but I honestly believe Kanbanchi increased my quality of life. Since using Kanbanchi, I have been more productive. The intuitive user interface makes using the application a joy; I don't have to fight with clunky or awkward buttons or navigations. Also, since the app seamlessly integrates with my G Suite for education account I can use Kanbanchi with my students and coworkers. I now look like a hero.

Vorteile:

Intuitive user interface and pleasant user experience, G Suite for work integration, simplicity, basic version offers ample feature (and I still paid for a pro account)

Nachteile:

I cannot think of any cons.

Easy to use agile project manager tool

Kommentare: very good. Managed our business through kanbanchi for 2 years now. we have developed a lot of processes through this software. everyone likes it and that makes it easy to train people. We have got out ISO certification using this software and planning to develop it further in the years to come.

Vorteile:

It's easy to learn, easy to use, quite fast in comparison to most other Softwares. Works on all browsers with no issues and its interface is very adaptable to different sectors of business.

Nachteile:

The software mobile version is a bit clunky. It needs a mobile app. that is all.

Nice software for Kanban management that can be shared with your teammates.

Kommentare: Start working through a Kanban system work flow with my team collaborators.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to use and the work environment is very friendly. It is integrated in Google Drive. That's really nice!!!! Their customer support answers you very quickly with the proper answer you need and they are open to explain you anything you need through the application or by e-mail. There are many options and features you can add to each task card: tags, colours, owners, comments, attachments... In addition, there are very usefull paid add-on features such as Gantt chart, subcards...

Nachteile:

Thinking about a Kanban tool by itself, it would be very useful if there was a kind of time log for each task card to record the work progress, define the lead time, etc.: when you add a task card in your system, when you start working on it, when you stop it because of external issues, when you finish it... In addition, there is not a mobile app which may ease the use of this tool even if you do not have a computer.

Simple. Easy. Efficient.

Vorteile:

I love that all of my team has the ability to time-track their tasks. This gives upper management a true sense of how long it takes to do various tasks. Thus, this speeds up our efficiencies for future projects, and at the same time, allows us to know when support is needed.

Nachteile:

The only thing our company can think of is Kanbanchi not having a true app for its platform. The internet-based "app" option is good, but our team would love an app to come out soon.

The best "Kanban" app I could find!

Kommentare: I have been using this app since 2015. I lead a development team and I needed a tool for Kanban purposes.
The best thing of Kanbanchi is the ease of use and the overall quality. For me, keep all the stuff related with the kanban board, into my Google Drive account, is very confortable and important! I can share card between team members, and follow theirs actions.

Vorteile:

ease to use, overall quality, customer support

Nachteile:

the lack of a metrics tool. But I think it could be available soon.

Kanbanchi Getting It Done

Vorteile:

Ease of use is fantastic. Keep track of all our projects for our entire team

Onboarding was a little tricky but it was just a new system we were unfamiliar with.

You Can with Kanbanchi!

Kommentare: We use Kanbanchi as a tracker and monitoring tool for our team's workload. Very basic usage of it, I would daresay - but it's a very streamlined and EASY to use tool. It's very visual, UX is very straightforward and natural, that a monkey can use it right away. It's very helpful to our team and makes everything very efficient and organized! :)
